Even from such a great distance, he could still feel it. He could still see them.
Mountains. Literal mountains of corpses that piled high to the skies.
The foul stench of blood had already suffused the air so much so that it stung with every breath he took.

A terrible wave of power exploded from the distance as the mountains of corpses were obliterated for the fourth time already.
"How..." his jaw refused to close as he failed to understand.
"It’s scary isn’t it?" The voice of Dante’s clone drew his attention as he turned to face the clone.
"My... my lo..."
"Don’t. Hahahaha... I may look like that bastard. But I assure you. I.. Am not." The clone shook its head without shifting its gaze from the ongoing massacre.
"You must be wondering how someone can be such a monster aren’t you?"
Sulvan remained silent as he turned his attention back towards the very distant battlefield.
The mountains of corpses had piled up once more. Yet his aura wasn’t diminishing. On the contrary.. it was rising.
"Dante... he is different. And I say this as a clone of his. A true clone. One meant to have all his abilities, talents, strengths. Anything he can do. I should be able to do. And yet..." the clone smiled and shook its head.
"I’ll advice you not to worry too much about how that bastard does what he does. Even I. No. Even we. His true clones. Cannot stand up to him. So I believe it useless to do anything other than just bask in the magnificence before you... open your eyes and take it in, shulvan. That... is your lord and master.. Dante bloody Draven."
Sulvan’s eyes trembled as he looked on quietly. Yet, in the reaches of his mind. The image of what was a true monster had slowly changed.
No longer were infernals the true terrors in his world. No. That honor... it belonged to..

A swathe of Raukhar was cut into innumerable pieces with one swing from Elira.

Another swathe was swiftly dispatched.

The smell of sulphuric infernal blood that had drenched the air.
The feeling of flesh tearing apart like wet paper.
The maddened rush of euphoria that came with each life I took.

My aura finally exploded outwards as the earth erupted beneath me.....

I pushed the annoying notifications aside as I let myself go.
I gave myself away to the feeling of Carnage and slaughter.
I raised Elira up as I leveled a deadly stare at the still unending wave of monsters before me.
I had killed enough monsters to raise multiple mountains high of corpses already.
And yet...
"Heh! You bastards just keep coming."
I smiled manically.
Elira’s blade began glowing.
"Well.. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.."
The temperature spiked as the atmosphere began... heating up...
"It would’ve been a waste if you guys didn’t atleast last this long.."
the monsters began combusting from the inside out as dark golden flames burst from within them.

Pained howls filled the skies as the wolves thrashed mid air in horrifying pain.
And, within those maddening howls of pain..
"ABSOLUTE..."
My voice sounded out. Less like a voice. More like a decree.
".....Solar cremation...."

Elira descended like judgement from the heavens as...

The world erupted in a fiery blaze of dark golden flames that consumed the entire Raukhar forest..

The skies bled a dark golden as even the confused and chaotic environment of the abyss was burned into order.

A dreadful aura exploded from within the world of flames below as a crimson black wave of energy grew from the distance.
What was once nothing but a dot in the flames swiftly grew into a consuming void that ate away the impossibily hot flames.
It wasn’t long before...

The black wave of energy completely ate out all the flames. But..
"You’re too late you mangy mutt..." I grinned viciously as I took in the aftermath of my attack.
Nothing. That was all that remained.
Nothing but drifting ashes.
The earth looked charred and cracked. Falling apart and crumbling from even slightest of winds.
The trees. The forest. The land. It was all nothing but scorched remains and scarred earth.

I could feel the rage and pain in that howl as...

The sound of metal clashing agains metal reverberated through the silence.
"Heh! Nice try, you mangy mutt."

I kicked out. The air tearing apart as my foot made contact with the mountain of flesh that had just collided with Elira, but...

It felt like I had just kicked an immortal block of steel as I successfully blasted the creature back.
"Hmm?" I couldn’t help raising a curious brow at the sensation being transmitted to me from my foot.
"Heh! Seems I really have found something fun." My anticipation slowly bled out as I finally looked down.
WOOOOSHHH!!!!
The dust parted violently as a figure rushed into the skies and I was finally able to get a sight of my assaulter..
"Woah..." I couldn’t help remarking as I looked at the furious creature before me.
It looked nothing like a wolf. It was instead something I was sure wolves prayed never to meet.
colossal beast nearly thirty meters tall stood before me. Scarred black fur covered its monstrous frame, split apart by glowing crimson fissures that pulsed like molten veins beneath its hide. Four blood-red eyes burned with ancient savagery while a crown of warped horns curled back over its skull. Massive bone spikes erupted from its spine like jagged mountains, and every slow flex of its body made the surrounding air fracture beneath the sheer weight of its existence.
"That’s a big ass dog." I couldn’t help the comment.
YOWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!
The monster howled. A visible shockwave blasting toward me from the mere sound of its howl.
"Heh!" I waved my left hand.
Woosh!!
The shockwave was immediately neutralized.
A heavy silence fell upon the area as we both locked eyes with each other.
The winds went silent.
All sounds seemed to have been siphoned from the world itself as it felt like everything took a collective deep breath.
My grin grew wider as I saw the monster twitch subtly.
My grip on Elira tightened as I took a stance.
My eyes shone with pure manic excitement.
"Finally....."
The tension pulled taught until eventually..
SNAP!
It snapped.
And then....
We moved...
