Usually, he didn’t dare assign Weilang too important tasks, because Weilang’s work always left him uneasy.

But now, he was almost certain that Lin Beichen was doomed, so he might as well entrust Weilang with the task, as he had other matters to attend to.

"Don’t worry, James, leave it to me. I won’t let him escape."

Weilang patted his chest with full confidence.

After James left, he disappeared into the depths of the cave to attend to other matters.

Weilang continued to toy with Lin Beichen like a cat playing with a mouse. He considered Lin Beichen to be already in his pocket and believed it was impossible for him to escape. Moreover, Lin Beichen looked so weak that Weilang wasn’t in a hurry to kill him. Instead, he wanted to tease him first, having nothing better to do anyway.

"How is it? Isn’t playing hide and seek with these monsters fun? Want something more exciting?"

Weilang said, pointing to two larger monsters beside him.

"How about letting them play with you?"

As soon as the words were spoken, the two monsters began to tremble violently and then launched an attack on Lin Beichen.

The monsters’ speed was extremely fast, and Lin Beichen barely managed to dodge twice, almost being hit. Eventually, he fell to the ground due to exhaustion.

Weilang felt he had played enough, and there was no need to continue any longer. Lin Beichen was now at the end of his strength, posing no threat at all. It would be better to take this opportunity to finish Lin Beichen and then go find James.

Thus, he ordered the two monsters next to him to carry Lin Beichen to his side, preparing to kill Lin Beichen personally for revenge.

He still remembered being utterly defeated by Lin Beichen in their previous encounter, an experience too painful to recount.

The memory of that scene filled him with utter shame. Now that he finally had the chance to torment Lin Beichen properly, he certainly wouldn’t miss it.

"You never thought you’d end up in my hands, did you? How you treated me before, now I will repay you double."

He lifted Lin Beichen’s chin, his voice filled with the pleasure of revenge, his tone growing more venomous.

However, how could Lin Beichen be so easily defeated?

The earlier fatigue was just him putting on an act.

This was the moment he had been waiting for!

"Who will die is not decided yet!"

Lin Beichen said, bouncing off the stone platform, and immediately took out a Super Talisman from the system.

"Thunder Skill decree, Nine Nine Returns to One! Five Elements unite, Yin and Yang interlace! Break!"

With Lin Beichen’s shout, suddenly Celestial Thunder rumbled outside.

The dark clouds in the sky gathered at an astounding speed, and within just a few breaths, they enveloped the entire outer part of the cave.

"Boom!"

One after another, Celestial Thunder struck down fiercely towards the inside of the cave. These were no ordinary thunderbolts; they ignored the sand and dirt outside the cave, penetrating obstacles and striking the target directly.

Each Celestial Thunder was stronger than the last, and by the time the thirteenth bolt struck, it was already as thick as a bowl.

Every strike in the cave would forcibly char the surrounding monsters into ash!

The might of Celestial Thunder was awe-inspiring, and Weilang was already scared out of his wits, quickly trying to escape outside the cave, with no thought to killing Lin Beichen.

Lin Beichen wouldn’t let go of this chance to destroy Weilang.

His eyes turned cold, and with a thought, he controlled the Celestial Thunder, directing the increasingly powerful thunderbolt force directly down onto Weilang’s head.

Weilang didn’t even have time to let out a scream before he was turned into a pile of charcoal.

The cave was in chaos, the monsters seemed extremely afraid of the powerful force, fleeing in all directions within the cave, yet they couldn’t escape the attacks of the Celestial Thunder.

James was focusing on his work when he heard the commotion outside and realized something was wrong.

He knew none of the monsters had Thunder Element attributes, and the continuous thunder and the power of the Thunder Element were clearly from Lin Beichen.

"This guy indeed had a trick up his sleeve! It seems I underestimated him!"

James gritted his teeth, unable to conceal his anger.

He hurried to the window and indeed saw the dark clouds outside, with bolts of Celestial Thunder relentlessly striking down towards the cave.

The scene made James’s legs weak. He knew that after dealing with Weilang, Lin Beichen’s next target would be himself.

After all, he was the mastermind behind all of this, and Lin Beichen would never let him off.

"Escaping is the priority... there’s no time to worry about anything else..."

James quickly returned to his room, took a purple light orb from an ancient box, and slowly tossed it into the air.

The orb unfolded slowly in the air, finally forming a purple ring, emitting a buzzing sound.

"James, where are you going? I still want to chat with you..."

James was just about to leave when he heard Lin Beichen’s voice behind him.

Startled, James shrieked and hurriedly dove into the purple ring, disappearing instantly.

Lin Beichen had never seen such a light purple ring before, and quickly approached to study it.

He tried to follow James, but found that it seemed to require some special method to use, and he couldn’t enter the space inside.

"This should be an ancient Western spell, similar to our Eastern space Jade Pendant. It seems the Western Church Court indeed has something..."

Lin Beichen’s eyes flickered as he thought to himself.

Their goal was to open a passage between Hell and the human world.

Surely, those monsters were drawn forth through this passage instead of being artificially created.
