Continental Hero Senki
Gatone-Dorgier III, Part 3
20 September.
For the General of the Army of the Kingdom of Silesia, an unbelievable messenger came to Russia.
"... What did you just say?
"Therefore His Majesty the Emperor intends to enter into a conciliation with the Kingdom of Silesia"
Even though it was only the first day of the war, the emissary of the emperor Sergei Romanov, who was the leader of the great armies and commander of the great armies, had proposed a "conciliation".
The warrior-warrior General of the Kingdom of Silesia was taken lightly by this news.
There is not a single person with clear answers as to how this happened. Therefore, I had to guess.
The reply to the messenger was once put on hold, and the urgent meeting was held at noon that day.
"Isn't Sergei still an amateur in war? Aren't you trying to get on track and come to the front line and 'surrender' you struggled with?
"But it's only my first day. Obviously it's in your favor over there, but I don't see the point in sending out a messenger. Are you trying to set some kind of trap..."
"A trap? A trap, but the enemy has four times as much power as we do, right? That doesn't make sense to set a trap!
The argument disturbed the generals, as if it were a labyrinth with no exit.
Is it a trap, or not, as we expected before the war, the emperor was not an amateur of war.
Such doubts, or suspicions, began to spread from high-ranking officers of the Royal Silesian Army down to heavy soldiers. Some cry out optimism, some cry out pessimism.
After about an hour of debate, Commander Marshal Rosenstock
"I can't tell if it's a trap or not. This is where the messenger returns and moves on to offensive operations as originally planned."
And I made a decision.
In other words, nothing has changed.
But Rosenstock knew how to identify this. If it were a trap, it would be some sort of counterattack against this offense. Even if it isn't, it'll make you resist stubbornly, he said.
There are two reasons to judge that.
One is because, as the staff member said earlier, the Imperial Army prevails over numbers. There is no advantage in the land, but a few advantages will make it easier to deflect the offense.
The other is where the Imperial Army is currently in formation.
The place is on a hill overlooking the Gatone-Dorgier plain.
hills, is the topography most important on the battlefield.
Not only can you look across the battlefield and easily grasp the state of the battle, but if you try to make it an enemy, you have to climb the slopes to drop the hill, and therefore the impact of the assault will be weakened.
If it were a trap, easier this important hill would not give up. Rather, where the offensive against the hills has intensified, ambushes should try to besiege the Royal Army offensive forces.
So what if it's not a trap?
It will really mean "the emperor is trying to admit his loss to the far inferior kingdom of Silesia" rather than a trap.
Whatever the circumstances of the enemy, if this happens, the morale of the soldier falls and is natural. There is no such thing as the logic of fighting for such a monarch as junior soldiers or officers.
In that case, the hill will be light.
Rosenstock thought so.
If so, the measures are simple.
"Turn the cavalry regiment under command to the enemy. They may be plotting the siege of our army. Carefully advance your troops and strike down that hill where your enemies line up!
14: 30.
The offensive operation of the Royal Silesian Army, which was supposed to start in the morning, began, albeit with a slight delay.
The front-line force participating in the offensive is three divisions, approximately 30,000. Others were playing with a cavalry regiment running to the enemy while covering the sides of the offensive forces.
Considering a series of Imperial Army moves to be a trap, Marshal Rosenstock and below senior officers thought the battle over the hills would be quite a struggle. Therefore it was a careful formation.
"Proceed! Proceed! Show them the horror of our kingdom's spears!
"Assault! Give your enemies time to rest and beat them up by the time they have no skin left!
The Royal Silesian Army bravely climbed the slopes and stormed.
A brave line approaches enemy defensive positions with light music.
The activated light of advanced sorcery gleams in heaven, and the footsteps of military shoes roar the earth.
But the strong defensive position erected by the Eastern Continental Imperial Army, which was set in the hills, frustrated the offensive of the Royal Silesian Army and everyone thought that its first wave of attacks would be bounced back as it deserved.
But things go against their expectations.
30 minutes later.
The commanding soldier rushed under Marshal Rosenstock and came to report with a full smile.
"Brigadier General Dombroski's brigade has succeeded in fleshing to enemy positions, breaking through!
"- What!? The enemy!?
I can't help but be surprised at Rosenstock.
There were no reports of ambushes that were vigilant, and the cavalry spared no time. Don't you say, on the other hand, that the offensive operation on the hill was a success without difficulty?
"The enemy has already abandoned the hill, with some resistance, but the enemy is already in disarray. A cavalry regiment under the Chaltriski Division is currently pursuing the enemy!
What was there was an ideal offense.
Breaking through enemy positions, the cavalry pursues and expands the battle results. It is possible for everyone to think that the enemy should have been in formation on the hill, but could never have succeeded so vividly.
"... contact Major General Chaltriski to keep the pursuit on track. It could be a trap."
Note that Marshal Rosenstock is alert to the trap. But his chief of staff and reporter's orders quickly bit.
"But my lord, whether it's a trap or not, I've never gone beyond sharpening the enemy's power. Shouldn't we be stepping up our pursuit by putting in reserve troops?
"On the front line I thought it was an enemy trap and I didn't see an army. That is the unanimous opinion of all our army officers who have lined up on the hill!
Taking the hilltop, overlooking the battlefield and perfectly identifying the formation of the enemy forces, the Front Line Unit of the Royal Silesian Army was confident of victory at this time.
Sergei Romanov is incompetent.
Yes, it had even drawn premature conclusions.
"... No, you can't. The offensive forces are exhausted, too. And don't forget that the enemy is more advantageous than the others. There's no point in wearing a counterattack."
"But my lord!
"Don't make me say the same thing twice. Tell the front-line unit to focus on building a position to secure the hilltop. You can't lose your precious power here to the slightest battle desire."
".................. I'm in awe. That's how we communicate it."
Thus, the second day of the Gatone-Dorgier match also came to an end with a Royal Army advantage.
But at the price of that, his men were frustrated by Rosenstock's cautious or overly cautious attitude.
That evening.
Once again, unexpected visitors arrived when the military council was about to open.
"- As I said the other day, His Majesty the Emperor Sergei desires friendship with the Kingdom"
It was the messenger of a second surrender.
The venue for the military council was, naturally, rough.
Rosenstock's condemnation of his cautious attitude is natural, as is his response to this messenger.
"You don't have to worry about the messenger! Only send a messenger's neck to mow Sergei Romanov's neck! The original operation of our army in the first place should have been to take over the emperor and make it peaceful in the future! If so, there is only an offense here!
"What are you talking about! Wouldn't it all fit in circles if we made a reconciliation here? Sure, I don't know what's going on, and it would be best if we took it here, but there's coverage that can carry it well."
"Didn't you miss your enemies yesterday and today because you are so weak!?
What to do is troubling.
The battle against the Imperial Army of the Eastern Continent is underway in favor of the Royal Army by flipping the Lower Horse Review. The amount of blood flowed in the Gatone-Dorgier plains is overwhelming for the Imperial Army, and it is therefore small for the Royal Army.
The enemy has sent a surrender envoy twice. No matter what you think, the enemy has low morale.
The debate remained parallel, with Marshal Rosenstock or less prudential officers accepting the messenger and deciding to initiate specific consultations.
This decision naturally angered the main warriors, but the conditions that convinced them too were spoken out of Marshal Rosenstock's mouth.
"If this is a trap, the messenger probably buys time. They must be trying to wait for subsequent reinforcements. If so, the negotiating seat would be of little or no benefit. But if not, there is no room for discussion at the earliest opportunity. There's a difference between local interest and morale."
To Rosenstock's words, both the main warrior and the prudent convinced him. He then chose four officers from both factions to negotiate a truce with the Imperial Army as his messenger.
Depending on this negotiation, the advance and withdrawal of the Royal Army will be decided.
And the next day, September 21, the negotiations alone ended without a fight.
Neither side of the war opened and enjoyed a temporary rest. According to the notes of one soldier, the Imperial Army and the Royal Army were in secret, and an exchange of preferences was held with each of them.
But such a brief time of peace ends with the return of the envoys of the Royal Silesian Army to command with the satisfaction of five bodies.
He who became a messenger on the Silesian side said,
"Emperor Sergei lacked the will to fight, had no morale, had no military talent, and was just a wolf at the negotiating table. That can't be called 'Emperor' at the earliest."
and.
The emperor, Sergei Romanov, pressed his men to blame, saying he didn't want this kind of war until he confessed.
Truce negotiations are also what he calls "blank peace, pre-war regression. Immediate retreat also puts into perspective", an answer that is too sufficient for the Royal Army.
"... Marshal, at the earliest, there is no room for debate. Right?
Someone from the main warriors said.
As Rosenstock said, no one, yes, not even Rosenstock, thought that there was absolutely no such thing as the fact that Emperor Sergei Romanov trapped him.
At the earliest, there is no good reason to put the sword in the sheath here. I will take Sergei here, or I will slap the Imperial Army forces thoroughly to bring Sergei's political authority to the ground.
This was all I had.
"Tomorrow we move on to an all-out offensive against the Imperial Army. Keep in close contact with your opponents and clarify the formation and placement of enemy forces. I'll put you down here!
Rosenstock was no longer lost.
The Eastern Continental Imperial Army is not the earliest enemy. Everyone was convinced at this time that the glorious honor of the Royal Silesian Army would increase again.
And it was on the 22nd of September of destiny.
