Count Scribe's Tutor

Chapter 6. Moon's Eyes (1)

Chapter. 6

Moon's Eye

That night.

Ferda opens her mouth with a serious face.

"In fact, I'll tell you what your talents are."

Originally, I was just going to give notice just before I woke up.

But I changed my mind.

Now the reality was not a tool for achieving a goal, but his disciple.

"Uh, that's what I wanted to hear."

A blurry braid.

A moment later, he asked curiously.

"· · · · · · Why in such a place?"

The cemetery north of the mansion is where the two are now.

That was also where Ferda was poking and prodding Commander's Candle.

In the real question, Ferda explains why she dragged him to the cemetery.

"It's better for both of us to know."

Phlegm-grown sorcery. This is the treatment of commanders in this world.

Of course. The power to manipulate rotting corpses and conjure up ghosts. Even if I try to look good, I can't.

And one more thing.

"This place has something to do with your talents."

As soon as it was finished, the reality opened its eyes wide.

"Maybe it's my talent."

Talent associated with the cemetery. The answer was already out there.

The realm trembles. There was tension in his eyes.

Yeah, that's what you think. Ferda nods, waiting for his reply.

After a while, the practice was serious.

"Cemetery?"

"No."

"And the funeral home?"

I sighed because of my shy answer.

Then he scratched his head and muttered.

"I can think of nothing else."

Are you serious?

Ferda sighs again. You don't have to wait for an answer.

"Raise the dead and cast a ghost."

So I decided to just tell him.

What is the real talent?

"Your gift is command."

At the end of the sentence, a single whiff of wind blows.

The wind that grew cold disappeared into thin air, sweeping through two people.

When the silence settled.

"· · · · · · · · Perda."

He opened his mouth.

"I think I got it wrong."

Awkward eyes and voices.

In fact, he replied with a subtle expression.

"I have no talent for command. That's what he said in the woods."

Oh, that's what it was about.

One of the commanders in the forest was jealous of his real talents, and once told me that he was not as talented as he was.

Bastard, I'll beat you up when I see you.

"No, you're talented."

Ferda shakes her head and denies the truth.

Then he whispered with confidence in his voice.

"I guarantee it. You will be the greatest commander in history."

Though we haven't done it in the last eight seasons, this time we will.

About the time I made that commitment, I heard a laughter.

"Ah-ha-ha, that's amazing."

"Huh?"

"No, it's not."

He hesitated for a moment, scratching his cheek and smiling.

"Somehow I feel like Ferda would say that."

This is not the first time.

His words were oddly persuasive. And it actually became what he said it would be. Didn't the best man who had Biggers right in front of his nose win?

"Okay. I'll try again."

After going through it several times, I quickly made a decision.

In fact, he laughed. Ferda smiles softly at his decision.

"So now you're teaching command?"

"I wish I could, but..."

It was Ferda's turn to make an awkward face this time.

"I don't know how to use commandery."

"Huh? Who do I learn from, then?"

"Then you'll have to learn for yourself."

"What?"

His face was frozen with embarrassment.

Ferda claps his shoulders as if to tell you not to worry.

"It's okay. I'll help you out."

"I heard Ferda doesn't know how to use a command."

But how are you gonna help me?

The real eye seemed to be asking that.

"Nothing comes to mind right now."

"· · · · · ·."

"It's going to work, though. Isn't that right?"

Ferda smiles in relief.

Suddenly I can't believe it. In fact, I glanced at Ferda with unsightly eyes. Facing that gaze, Ferda smiled silently.

* * *

The next day.

The dawn is not yet dawn. Ferda leaves the mansion.

It's quite a nervous face.

There was a reason for all this.

[Mythical Command]: Survival Conditions

* Achieve a negative dimension Mana [1,000]

* Current Mana: [988/1000]

A system window in front of your eyes.

Ferda frowns slightly.

"· · · · · · · This is a little difficult."

I didn't even feed the Commander's Herb, but I increased my magical strength.

That's close to thirty in one night.

Did you go to the cemetery? Or are you aware of your talents? I made all sorts of assumptions, but nothing was certain.

"The mission of the Holy Land must still be in the city."

In just half a day, my magical power rose as much as I did. At this rate, the Holy Nation may discover the birth of a mythical commander.

"I can't let that happen."

I haven't sprouted yet. The interruptor is unacceptable.

Ferda's eyes glow fiercely.

‘I will protect it at all costs. ’

His destination is the underground market.

I was going to try to find some magic tools to avoid the envoy's eyes. It was less likely to be saved, but it's better than doing nothing.

So I rushed my feet. As I was about to enter the Slum through the northern gate, Ferda encountered a group of people dressed in white on the bridge.

"Good morning, brother."

"I hope you have a safe day."

The worshippers praying at dawn.

I tried to think small and pass by. But as soon as I got close to them, Ferda suddenly stopped walking.

It's because I caught his eye.

‘That. ’

A silver necklace worn by the congregation.

A token that symbolizes the Faith of the Moon.

Looking at it, there was one thing that came to mind.

Eyes of the Moon! ’

First appearance in Season 5.

This necklace looks like a typical token on the outside, but its abilities were completely different.

‘You said you have the ability to suppress musical instruments. ’

More precisely, it is a tool that temporarily seals the Mana in the negative dimension.

In Season 5, the practice of being chased by a heretic interrogator was handed over to avoid their obstinate pursuit.

‘And I know.' ’

I heard the good news from the guild this morning. There is a sacred object that suppresses and erases negative dimensions of Mana. But I didn't know it was in Mullen.

A meaningless smile poured out. He said it was dark under the lamp, and that's exactly what he looked like. I would have saved a lot of time if I had known.

The necklace was here, Mullen.

North-east, first street of starlight, to be exact.

Temple of the Moon. The necklace is underground there.

"Then let's go straight to it."

Ferda turns and rushes toward the temple.

* * *

Temple of Rezoya, northeast of Mullen.

The temple of Elun, the goddess of the moon, was crowded from the dawn. It's because of the congregation who are gathered for prayer. However, the priests skillfully organized the procession, as if this situation were familiar.

"Take your turn."

"Be careful not to bump into it."

It was a day like any other day.

So the priests didn't notice. There's a man in the back yard of the temple, tearing out the floor of the warehouse, and entering a hidden basement.

Overwhelmed

The sound of footsteps going down the stairs.

The identity of the stranger was Ferda. He dares to act in a moment when the priests are distracted from leading the congregation. As a result, his choice was right.

No one noticed the intruder.

"I can't see a thing."

Ferda grilled her brow slightly. But it wasn't enough to go down there at all.

As you grope down the stairs, the stairs are finished.

"I'll take anything I see."

If I'd known this was gonna happen, I would have brought a lantern.

I regretted it, but I can't turn it back. We have to find it somehow.

But then.

Bloop!

The starlight burns. It was a torch.

Thanks to this, the basement is lighter. I thought the temple was small and the basement would be small, but it's surprisingly spacious. As I looked around in a strange way, Ferda suddenly felt a sense of camaraderie.

Huh? A fire? From where?

At the time of such a question, I suddenly heard a voice.

Report to the intruder.

Dry, no-high voice.

His voice rang loudly in the basement.

It is the holy place of the moon. I'm warning you. Go back.

Bloop!

At that moment, the flame burns again.

This time it's not just one. About a dozen torches seemed to have risen in unison.

Then I saw it in front of my eyes.

Silver armor and helmet. And a shield and a sword.

That was it.

The problem is they're alive and moving.

"What the hell is that?"

I didn't say there was such a thing.

Ferda frowns. Then I heard his voice again.

Otherwise, only death.

One last word.

The sword in your sack points at Ferda.
