Count Scribe's Tutor

Chapter 14. Changes (3)

Deep underground.

Ferda stares at you, leaning against the wall. Now he's reading a book on commandos, and strangely, there's a wolf sitting next to him.

A guy who wags his tail so it doesn't fit into a big body.

Before the full moon, it was Hound, who became the true heir.

‘Hell Hound. ’

A magic object with dark red leather and red fur.

A sorcerer who is shaped like a wolf and has the ability to breathe fire from his mouth.

This is what Ferda knew about the Hell Hound.

‘But · · · · · · ·. ’

He was different.

Once the leather was black and the fur was gray. And the last time I saw it, it was a test, and it was a very black flame.

Is it because you're a hero? ’

It was in many different ways than the usual Hell Hound.

Hound turns his head. Probably felt Ferda's gaze.

At the same time, he frowned.

No matter how much you look at it, you clearly don't like it. It was worth it. He remembers being killed by a human.

‘But it's better than the first time I saw it. ’

It wasn't very crazy before the full moon.

It was enough to shove its teeth in and spit out flesh. I was ready to burst into flames. But not for long. I whispered and I lowered my tail.

After recalling, Ferda opens her arms and takes a hint.

It was then.

"Ferda."

The realm approaches, looking up at him.

Looks like you're done studying. I clapped my shoulders, meaning that I worked hard.

"Good work. Shall we go back?" "

"Yeah, I'm getting hungry."

In fact, he smiled. Meanwhile, Hound falls flat on the ground.

[I look forward to seeing you again. My Lord.]

"Yes, I'll come back tomorrow."

After patting Hound, Silvane and Ferda head out to the underground passage.

As you climb the stairs and go outside, two redbitten sunsets greet you. I thought it was time for dinner.

"See you later, then."

Waving his hand toward the mansion.

Ferda moved straight to the lodge. I couldn't eat with the smell off, so I decided to take a shower. Shortly after finishing his shower, he lay on the bed and reached for his hand in the air.

"Let's see."

I opened an Achievement Store straight away.

Five hundred points remaining today. Is there anything worth living for? Ferda casually visits the store. Then it suddenly caught my eye.

Skill Book [Understanding Necromancy]: [400]

"Oh, there it is."

You smiled at Ferda's mouth.

"I still thought about how to teach necromancy · · · · · · ·."

I didn't have to worry about summoning the dead and cursing them. Just once, I grew up knowing that someone was a genius.

But necromancy was different. There were no relevant books, and Ferda was also an out-of-the-box necromancer. However, the problem has just been resolved. Ferda bought a skill book without hesitation.

"Now you just hand it over naturally."

When I put the skill book in my inventory.

Knock, knock.

Someone knocks on the door. It's probably Aaron. So I opened the door rather unobtrusively. But what was in front of him was a surprise.

"In fact?"

Except for class time, he was always in his room, and somehow he found Ferda's lodging. Ferda opens her eyes in a circle, and the thread opens her mouth.

"Aaron says I'm going to be late for dinner tonight."

A silk thread that mumbles with a slightly dull face.

Maybe he's here to tell me about it. Aaron's gonna be all set for dinner.

"I see. Perfect timing."

"What?"

"I was thinking about stopping by the library."

Ferda recently had a hobby.

Reading. Thanks to the shared practical and linguistic comprehension, I was able to read without much difficulty. So I borrowed a book to read whenever I could.

"Why the library?"

"I have a book to return. I want to borrow something."

Half were true, half were false. It was true that I had a book to return, but the real reason I was looking for the library was to hand over the Necromancy skill book to Silvan.

‘If you say you borrowed it from the library, you won't have any doubts about where it came from. ’

You can't talk honestly about your achievement store or your inventory. Meanwhile, Ferda's reply was briefly hesitant. Then I looked up.

"Then I'll go too."

"Oh, what are you doing? Didn't you hate going to the library?"

I was a little further from the mansion, and most of all, there were a lot of people in the library. Not many people gossiped about the reality that much.

You're saying that because you don't think you can hear them, but Half Elves have far better hearing than they think.

"I hate it, but I get bored when I'm alone."

"Well, yeah. Come with me."

You don't care if he's okay.

I went straight to the lodge with a book to return. I was not bored walking alone. Two of them arrived at the library while having a nice conversation.

Then two men walked in front of me.

He looks about the same age as Ferda. When he sees the reality, he bows naturally.

"Greetings, young master."

A man with brown curly hair and black eyes. A boy, about a year or two older than he was, stood beside him with a bunch of books.

Who is it?

If you say hello first, you know how it is. But I had never seen him before. When I think about the novel, I don't have any information about him.

Knock, knock.

Then he stabbed Ferda in the side.

A little lower back, and in fact, you whisper with your flimsy feet up.

"Say · · · · · · · Hans. He teaches Shane."

Oh, now I remember.

Shayne, his oldest son, had a tutor. Shayne wasn't required to attend the Royal Academy, but she was hired by her first wife.

‘I didn't know he was so insignificant. ’

That's all the information I had on Hans.

So of course I don't know. As Ferda scratches her cheek, Hans opens his mouth again.

"Then what brings you here?"

"Ferda has business to attend to."

"What about Ferda?"

"He's my homeroom teacher."

After the conversation, Ferda takes a step forward.

Then he bowed slightly and introduced himself.

"Greetings. I am Ferda Inosid."

I greeted him normally, without thinking about it. Hans nodding his head.

"I see. I hear the new homeroom teacher is here."

The answer returns, but not to Ferda. Hans' eyes were fixed on only the thread.

"Enjoy your reading, by the way. Now if you'll excuse me."

Hans turns away straight away.

Without giving Ferda one last look.

What, are you being ignored?

I felt embarrassed, but soon I robbed him. I was a little upset, but it wasn't something to be blamed for. Above all, there is real life here. It's the best way to move on.

So Ferda made her way to the library. In fact, he moved his feet beside him. I was about to open the door and enter the library.

Twitch

For a moment, my ears trembled.

It's because Hans and his assistant have been chatting from afar.

"Sir, are you okay without saying hello?"

"Greetings? With whom?"

"The third young master's homeroom teacher. You said it was important to establish friendship with the noble family teachers, right?"

"That's what I said. But that's not a tutor, is it?"

"Yes?"

With the sound of the assistant's reinstatement, the reality frowns.

Ferda's not a schoolteacher? What's that supposed to mean? Hans said, questioning that.

"Young Master Shane uses respect for me, too. Although there is a difference in identity, I am a master of teaching."

"Yes, but isn't there someone who talks sometimes?"

"Of course, if you're close, you can call me by my name. You can use half the words. But doing that in front of others means I don't want to treat my teacher. I'm just thinking of myself as a babysitter or a servant."

Hans smiles as he joins his words.

Then he said in a voice full of laughter.

"I heard you weren't from the Academy. You were a street snake. Your servants have risen quite a bit. Hahaha!"

Pow!

As he listens to the laughter getting farther and farther away, the realm bites its teeth tightly.

I did not care to gossip about myself. I hear a lot. I'm used to it.

But when I heard Ferda's gossip, I felt the blood spilling upside down.

‘But. ’

It was because Hans wasn't entirely wrong to be angry.

In retrospect, Ferda always used the name of respect when she was with others. I was embarrassed when I thought of this.

But that's it, that's this. It's a different matter to insult Ferda.

He clenched his fist tightly.

[Disgusting fellow.]

[How dare you insult the one the king recognizes.]

[Just give me the order and I'll rip off your limbs right now.]

When the ghosts were angry.

"In fact?"

Ferda, who was going ahead, suddenly looked back.

As he approaches, he asks with a worried tone.

"What's the matter? You don't look so good."

"· · · · · · · Huh, nothing."

Shaking his head and grinning.

Then it was said.

"Go in first. I'm gonna take a quick look around."

I've got work to do.

His eyes sank cold.

* * *

After I went to the library.

I've succeeded in giving the skill book to Silvan. With no doubt received, the problem with necropsy is somewhat solved.

‘What skills will I get this time? ’

I went out with pleasant expectations.

It was because there was a practical message telling me to come to my room when dinner was ready. As I was about to enter the mansion across the garden, Ferda encountered an unexpected figure.

"Sir Logwood?"

It was Burke.

Found Ferda, he reaches out with a light smile.

"It's been a long time. How have you been?"

"Yes, it's been a long time."

At the end of a simple handshake, Burke revealed his business in visiting the Mansion of the Realm. I wanted to tell him that I needed to get out of my sword class for a while.

"Young Master Shane has done well. So I was in charge of one-on-one teaching. I can't afford to spend at least three months."

You'll be glad to hear it.

As I thought about it, I heard Burke's voice again.

"Speaking of Confucius Shane,"

He had a smile on his mouth. It was a cold laugh.

"I saw something interesting on the way over."

"What · · · · · · · · ·?"

"Confucius Shane's homeschoolteacher. That skinny fella. I hear an Earl whispering that he's haunted, and then I hear he's headed home. The assistant I was with was trying to calm me down."

Ferda's eyes widen.

It was because there was someone who suddenly remembered that it was a ghost. Perda stared at the room without me even knowing it. But soon I shook my head. Oh, you can't be serious.

"You're a strange man."

"I know. You're not planning on doing that, are you?"

"Haha, no way."

With a silly joke, the two arrived at their destination.

Knock, knock.

When you open the door with a knock, you see a thread sitting somewhere on the couch.

A face that hardens rapidly as soon as Burke is found. But Burke bows slightly, familiar.

"I'm sorry to be late at night."

"· · · · · ·."

The answer never came back.

Burke continues to speak without waiting.

"I think I'm going to be out of swordsmanship for a while. I came to tell you."

The reason for taking a break is as I said before.

However, the reaction in practice was a little strange.

If he had been, he would have opened his eyes and made a happy face immediately after hearing this news. He hates swordsmanship. However, the reaction was a little dull. It's like I'm stuck with something else.

"But I can't leave the class at all, so I'm going to leave your class with another driver. Are you going to be okay?"

It seemed to be asking for opinions, but it was actually informed. If you say you don't like it, Burke was gonna do it anyway. So I didn't really wait for the answer. I was going to pout again.

"Is that really necessary?"

"Then let's do it. Yes?"

As Nazik continues to speak, Burke is surprised and asked.

I wasn't surprised when I opened my eyes. And Ferda had a similar look on her face.

Did you hear wrong? What did he just say?

He stared into the blank eyes of the two men and realized that he was speaking again.

"I already have a teacher. Swordsmanship has been proven, and there's much to learn. So it looks better to be taught by teachers all the time."

Like you didn't hear it wrong.

In fact, he added politely. After a short breath, I lift my head. Ferda is where the golden eyes are headed. The reality then spoke in a laughable voice.

"Right, sir?"

As soon as I heard that, I understood what was going on.

Now you've put Ferda's face to the ground. By using the name ‘Teacher’ with respect where there is a third party.

‘I was a little embarrassed by the change in speech, but · · · · · · ·. ’

However, I quickly regained my composure.

The only disciple faced me. In front of Burke Lockwood, who was so scared. As a teacher, it would be better to be in the right place.

With a light smile, Ferda bows slightly.

"I'm sorry, Lord Logwood. I was going to tell you otherwise, but I'll be taking your swordsmanship class from now on."

"No, all of a sudden."

"Earl invited me to dinner not long ago, but he also said something similar."

I used to talk nonsense about training animals, but there was only one point. Giving Ferda all the power to teach. So it's not wrong to say this. If you're unfair, go talk to the Earl.

Ferda grins as she looks at Burke, mute with honey. It was a genuine smile.

"Well done so far. Please leave it to me in the future."

"Well done, Lord Logwood."

You duck your head in a pile of silk.

Shortly after, Burke leaves the room with a shivering face. I'm sure you don't have anything to say. After the sound of the hallway's footsteps disappeared, Ferda and Silva looked at each other.

After a while, the room was filled with a loud laugh.
