Count Scribe's Tutor

Chapter 15. The Lion of Serenek (4)

Late night.

The locked gate slowly opens. Alter of the Knights stared at those outside the gates with a somewhat nervous face.

The first thing I saw was a knight in silver armor. Every one of them is more than a mid-level Expert. Subsequently, I noticed a man under the iron guard of the paladins.

A young man with a clean look in his robes.

He is a saint. He doesn't know how to handle a sword, but he's strangely intimidated to keep watching. But it's also rude to look at it like that. Knowing this, Alter lowers his head slightly.

"Welcome to the arcade backwriting."

"Thank you for your hospitality."

The man in the lead was greeted instead.

It was Dussel, the knight commander leading the paladins.

"I've prepared a place for you to stay. Need immediate directions to your listing?"

"Before that, I'd like to see the Earl who gave me permission to visit. The Saint wishes to express his gratitude."

"Ah, the Earl says."

Alter blurred his words.

At this hour, you'll be meeting with the Lion of Serenek. I hesitated for a moment, but my concerns were not long.

"Please wait a moment. I'll be right back."

A lion from the forest on the south side and a Saint from the Holy Nation. I didn't have to ask who was the more important guest. After a while, he hid his face, and the Saint smiling completely wiped his smile.

"Dussel."

"Yes, Saint."

When the polite answer returned, the saint tightened his nose. Then he frowned and kicked his tongue low.

"I've been rotting ever since."

"I was in charge of something similar. Shall we unleash the hounds?"

"How many did you bring?"

"Three for each knight, nine for each."

In Dussell's answer, the saint was troubled for a moment.

Shortly after, he opened his mouth again.

"Let four search the ground, and five search underground."

"The basement?"

"Yeah, it gets worse in the basement."

"I understand."

Dussel bows immediately.

About ten minutes after that, Alter, who had disappeared, returned.

"Thank you for your patience. The erl has given his permission."

Is it because they paid all their attention to the Saints?

Alter didn't know. Nine paladins were secretly hidden in the low darkness.

* * *

The time.

Ferda, Silvan, and Irina find the underground passage. It was because Ferda suggested that we get out of here as soon as the Saint's Party was reported to be nearby.

Smells smurfy as you walk down the stairs. The level of nausea I don't even know about. I tried my best to stay calm, but I couldn't. I asked her with a standing voice.

"What is this place? What is that smell?"

"It's bad, isn't it? But don't be surprised already."

I smiled awkwardly. He points to the end of the stairs. It was a door leading to the entrance to the closed groundwater.

"I haven't even reached the entrance yet. It's worse inside."

In reality, his glabella frowned.

After a while, Irina suddenly opens her mouth as if she's remembered something.

"But are you okay? When I was a kid, I thought I was squeamish."

"Well, I had a little trouble at first, but I got used to it after a few visits."

"How many times does that mean you've been here before?"

"Of course. I teach here every day."

In fact, he proudly said. But it didn't sound like much to Irina. All I heard was that I always studied in a smelly place that numbs my olfactory senses.

Grrr!

She clenches her lips, staring at Ferda.

I can feel the enemy in my eyes up to here. A misunderstanding arose, Ferda coldly replied to the reason.

"The environment is bad, but a good place to practice command. There's no place in the world that has more negative dimensions than here."

"No matter how you do it in a place like this."

When Irina's voice changed sharply.

A sudden flame rises from the floor.

Enemy.]

It was the great spirit of fire, Salaman.

He flicks his thin tongue and stares beyond the darkness. Salaman's gaze is close to the entrance to the closed groundwater. As a sudden warning, Irina swiftly aims her spear forward.

Bumpy Daglac!

A moment later, something walks from the entrance.

A wolf as big as an ox. And it was an old box. The closer you two got, the cooler I felt. It is a terrifying energy that can only be evoked by the dead.

Then the reality ran forward. I couldn't stop him. But there was no need to pursue. In fact, he stroked the head of the wolf as if he were familiar with the ghosts before.

"Hound, how have you been?"

[Yes, I was waiting My Lord.]

The giant wolf lies sideways on the ground and shows its belly. My tail twitches like a reed at the touch of a thread. The old box also welcomed him as he stretched out. Outside common sense, Gina remained stiff.

"My disciple's hunting dog. Mimic is next to him."

Ferda explained in an unorthodox tone. In response, Irina regained her mind.

"What the hell happened in half a year."

Hound and Mimic lie facedown on the cold ground, their muttering teeth behind their backs. It was completely obedient.

[It's your first time here at night. Did something happen to you?]

"Oh, that's right."

In fact, he explained why he found this place. The intermediate deficiency was added by adding Ferda. Shortly thereafter, Hound bowed his head as if he understood what was at stake.

[That means the hostile one has come for you.]

A clear summary.

Hound reveals his starry teeth as he nods.

[How dare you step into the owner's realm. I will tear every last one of them apart. So please rest assured.]

"You can't do that this time. Never."

Then Ferda hung up on Hound.

Hundreds of them run when one of them gets hit. Those are the people called paladins. Ferda knew how stubborn and cruel the paladin was. So unless you want to attract the attention of the Holy Nation, you must not touch the paladin.

Hound, however, had no intention of listening to him.

[Do not command me, mortal. I only speak the master's words.]

"Hound, listen to Ferda."

[Speak quickly. I don't know what to do.]

A sudden shift in attitude resulted in a laughter.

Would a person who doesn't own this live in fear? But even then, Ferda froze her eyes cold.

"The dogs of the Holy Land are here now."

With a serious voice, the information of the Holy Nation that was mentioned in the novel came out drinking.

"The largest task given to the Holy Land is to plant the Holy Land flag on the entire continent. And to eradicate all the uncleanness in the divine light. These are the two."

Ghosts say that reality is the king of all that is unclean. Then, of course, you have to be enemies with the Holy Nation. Meanwhile, Hound snorts as if he wasn't even cute in Ferda's description.

[Hmph! Fight back. With the power of its owner, it's enough.]

"Of course, we can beat the guys who came here right away. But what if he could confirm the existence of the Holy Land? Then there will be no turning back."

The Holy Nation will try to erase the truth at any cost. as it has all season in the original. The more boring the chase is, the slower the real growth will be.

That's why we have to buy ourselves a body now.

"You can't leave a trace. Clear all traces of what we have done and lay low. Until the dogs of the Holy Land leave this land."

Ferda explained what Hound should do.

The answer never came back. So I added additional reasons.

"The reality is still growing. One day, when reality is fully grown, then the Holy Land will be afraid of reality. So even though I'm angry now,"

[I see. I'll do as you say.]

Hound Najk said, even before Ferda's persuasion was over. He continued with a frustrating reply as if he still felt uncomfortable planting.

[I don't like the choice, but the master told me to follow you. Then just follow it. The master's word is absolute to me.]

Was Hound's attitude magnificent?

In fact, he strokes his head with a smile on his face.

"Good boy, Hound."

Needless to say, his sweet hand made his tail softer. Then Ferda adds something as if she had remembered something later.

"Oh, I have one more favor to ask."

[Say something. I feel good now, so I'll listen.]

I never thought I'd be so generous at one touch.

Ferda smiles in relief. Then he told me what I just remembered. The deaf man turned his ear to hear it. Then three ghosts appeared, squeezing the ceiling.

[My king.]

[Divine Power is approaching.]

[You may want to avoid yourself soon.]

Judging by the urgent tone, they're here to warn you.

A knob with a nod as if you knew. He told Ferda and Irina about the ghosts. After a while, when you're ready to move again, reality turns to Hound and Mimic.

"Then I beg you."

[Yes, leave this to us.]

With a polite answer, the three headed to the exit to the groundwater. When they are completely gone, Hound glares at you. Mimic had nothing to say.

Immediately, they started working on the trail as Ferda asked them to.

* * *

Not long after that.

A guest found a subterranean tunnel. Five men of different ages. Following Dussel's instructions, they were the hounds of the Holy Nation who came to investigate underground.

One thing was that their faces were all expressionless. Even in the middle of the stinking nose.

"I've detected the magic of the negative dimension."

Then a man opened his mouth.

Then the other four turned their heads together.

"Shame?"

"34."

"Above average?"

"You'd say it's close to average."

A dry conversation came and went.

Other than that, they moved on again. However, shortly after, I had to stop walking. It was because the middle corridor was blocked.

"A relatively recent collapse."

The man who examines the debris on the wall mutters.

Immediately, his eyes became cold.

"· · · · · · · or someone just knocked it down."

The Holy Spirit rises around them, terrified to the end of the words. The sacred power disappears as it evaporates through the passages, ceilings and walls of the groundwater.

"Nothing special was detected."

"Everything's fine except for the slightly higher power levels in the negative dimension."

After that, I explored the area a few times, but I didn't make much money. If we get rid of the debris blocking the passageway, we can get to the other side.

But I didn't do it.

Tuk-tuk

"This was broken from the inside."

The man tapping the wreckage mutters. If you knocked it down outside through here, it wouldn't have piled up like this. Others nodded in agreement.

"If there is any dishonesty, it will still be in the white paper."

"I have to report to the boss. Let's go back."

The five hounds go back the way they came. But there was something they didn't realize. That the "real hounds" were watching their every move under the rotten waters of the underground waterway.

[Are we going back already?]

Hound tasted bad.

Then I suddenly remembered what Ferda said.

‘If the dogs of the Holy Land try to enter beyond the debris, then eat every last one of them. Don't leave a trail. Keep it clean. ’

Ferda asked me to break down the walls from the inside, and to exterminate one and all of them.

[Tsk, I wish I was just a little closer.]

After lowering his tongue, Hound and Mimic sink back into the water.

I was going to stay here until the owner came back. Once the waves of the water have subsided, the underground waterway is once again covered in darkness.

* * *

Meanwhile, Ferda's group makes it out alive. The three of them turn their pre-prepared robes upside down and rush out through the dark through the south gate. Then you take out the Earl's permission slip, and the locked gate opens wide.

"When you come back, you can show me this pass."

The knight handed over three special passes and three horses.

He takes a step back and shouts at Ferda with a solemn face.

"Then I wish you luck. All hail Lord Inoside!"

Ka 'ang!

Everyone guarding the gates tapped the shield with their swords and spears.

The original Ferda was impressed with this sight. I can't stop crying.

But it was all ordered in advance by Earl Archdut. Boost Ferda's morale so he can return to the Count. Ferda ignores this because she knows it's a hoax.

"Is it okay if I don't say hello?"

"It's not a real salute anyway."

How do you know that? "

"I get the feeling that I can live a long life as a mercenary."

After a great circle, Ferda mounts the horse.

"Come on, let's go. We must hurry if we want to get away from the Holy Nation."

I climbed up to the horse without shouting.

It's almost midnight. The three men and women left behind the writing of the arcade.
