Chapter 56. Into the Desert (2)

The sandstorm was indeed fierce.

It was beyond irritating to the skin, and if I did something wrong, I'd hurt myself. The harsh winds were also a problem, but the more fundamental reason was the mix of sand and gravel.

As a result, the group decides to take a break in the 'place where the storm can be avoided’ Korut mentioned. Shortly after, the destination appeared.

“Here · · · · · · · · · · ·. ”

The landscape in front of my eyes changed my eyes greatly.

Then Korut explained with a tone.

“Mount of knives. That's what we call it. ”

In response, he nods quietly.

A pile of razor-sharp rocks.

It was worth the name of the mountain of swords.

“My king.”

Then Tervand approaches.

“Let's get you inside. The storm is getting worse. ”

Like he said, I heard a strong wind outside. It sounds as if the beast is howling. A nod quickly follows Korut into the mountains of swords.

About a decade on foot.

Finally, I found a place to avoid the storm. A hole that looks like a deep cave. The only drawback was that the entrance was clearly opened. But this matter was quickly resolved.

“Kuang, sit here. ”

At the end of the conversation, Keang lands on the ground without a word.

Soon, he crouched down and blocked the entrance. Shortly after, the group turns into a moderately cozy place.

Bloop!

Immediately, a bright flame brightened the dark cave.

It was Ferda's bonfire. As the warmth gradually spreads around him, he opens his mouth.

“When do sandstorms stop? ”

“At least half a day at this size, I think we should wait. ”

“Half day · · · · · · · · · · ·. ”

Ferda strokes her chin in response to Tervand's reply.

It won't take much longer than I expected. You just have to think about taking a break. With that thought, I leaned against the wall. And as I was about to take a break, a sudden thread grabbed my arm.

“Let me borrow your shoulder for a second. ”

A silk sheet with a big head on it.

After a while, reality fell into a deep sleep. It was worth it. I read the skill book and used up my magic while helping Keang fly.

I should have taken a break anyway.

I was clapping my shoulders with a smile.

“Seeing a sandstorm suddenly reminds me of that. ”

Tervand, sitting near the entrance by himself, opens his mouth.

After that, the golden eyelight burns quietly.

“War is born through the death of a storm. ”

“What?"

Ferda tilts her head in riddles.

But the answer came back from the wrong place.

“Storm disappears. Monster is active.”

He stares at the desert beyond the storm.

“So if the storm stops, we don't cross the desert. ”

It was a quiet tone, but I can see what you mean. If the storm stops, it means the monsters hiding in the desert are in danger. Perhaps that's what Tervand meant by war.

I nodded as if Ferda understood.

“Huh? It's a little different from what I know. ”

Isha interrupts the conversation while reading a book near the campfire. Ferda looks at her with questionable eyes in a sudden intrusion.

“A storm of this magnitude reveals an ancient ruin buried deep in the desert. Because the ruins are full of gold and silver, there's a war going on to take over them. ”

It's a reasonable story, but in reality, Korut's words were more credible. There must be more monsters here than there are in the ruins.

At that moment, Korut nods.

“That's right. What really happened in the past. ”

“Huh? Really? ”

Isha asked with a surprised face.

No, what if you get out of your mouth and you're surprised? I looked at her in a dazzling way, and she quickly shuffled me. Meanwhile, Korut's words continued.

“Three hundred years ago. We call it the Red Desert War. ”

A bold tone reveals the beginning of an epic story. Normally, I would have nailed you not to say useless things, but now I have nothing to do. That's why Ferda listened to the history of the desert.

It was more interesting than I thought.

Is that why? The reality that I thought I was asleep suddenly wakes up and listens to Korut's story. At the end of the war story like that, emotions were captured in Korut's voice.

“· · · · · · At the end of the war, he appeared soon after. ”

Strong excitement, admiration, and awe.

The voice that had been raised so far tilted my head.

“Who appeared? ”

Corute quickly exhales on the prompt.

Then he said with a solemn face.

“La Tervand, the great hero of the desert. ”

Fearfully, Ferda's gaze focused on one place. Suddenly, Tervand scratches his skull in an awkward manner. Whether you know it or not, Korut continues to speak in an excited tone.

“He was a great warrior. Other countries, not even close to the desert. ”

Beyond the war stories, we now begin to sing the praises of Tervand.

Praise enough to make a stranger look pretty even when he hears it. I looked at Tervand with a curious face as I listened to it.

“You're a bigger man than I thought. ”

“Haha, it's just an old story. ”

Tervand smiles beautifully.

For a moment there was a feeling of longing in the golden eyelight. The reality of noticing this asked with a cautious tone.

“Do you want to go back to that? ”

“Well, no. Not exactly. ”

Unexpectedly, a blameless injustice returned.

Soon Tervand smiled, gazing at the reality.

“Now I'm much more satisfied to be with the king. ”

A look of intense loyalty.

But in reality, it was a face that didn't make sense.

“Why?”

“Because I think the king can get beyond a story I've never been to. So I'm happy with my life now. ”

“Well, I don't know, but I'm glad you're satisfied. ”

“Yes, I'm very happy to be able to serve the king. ”

Tervand's eyes curl like a crescent.

Korut, on the other hand, was in the midst of praising Elongated Tervand. What will Korut look like when he finds out that the hero he praises is right next to him? I was smiling alone thinking nonsense.

Kwa-ga-ga-ga!

You hear a heavy wind coming from outside.

It was like scratching a rock with iron. The terrifying sound mutters anxiously.

“Are we really going to stop in half a day? I think it's getting worse. ”

“Sandstorms are chaotic at the end. Don't worry about it. ”

Tervand replies calmly.

After a while, the wind that sounded like it was about to collapse the cave gradually faded, and soon it was completely gone.

“It's true. It's been quiet for a while. ”

The realm mutters with a glimmer in its eyes.

When he wakes up from his seat, he heads towards the entrance. To make sure the storm was over. At that time, there was someone who stopped the movement of reality.

“Ferda?”

The headrest raises Ferda.

But Ferda didn't see him. I was staring at the desert beyond the entrance, and more precisely, the dirt that suddenly appeared on top of it.

“Something's coming. ”

The moment I narrowed my eyes.

Ferda realizes what that is. Weird looking and overwhelming flesh from afar. It was obvious that monsters appeared from the desert.

“There are too many numbers. Run, run, run! ”

Korut's face was reflected when he found it later.

He rushes into action as he flees. It was worth it. There were hundreds of monsters in front of us.

Unlike the Korut, however, the group's reaction is grave. What's the big deal? Everyone looked at the battlefield with that face. Keang smiles, spreading his wings as if it were petty.

Then Tervand suddenly approached the realm.

“My king, please leave it to me. ”

Tervand kneels before the realm.

He then pleaded face to face with reality.

“I would like to dedicate my first victory in the desert to the king. ”

“Yes, I'll leave that to you. ”

In fact, he nods happily.

Terrifying by the fall of permission, Tervand heads straight for the outside. Cloudy dirt is getting closer. His sword burns black as he approaches his own distance.

The hunt has begun with a signal.

Puck!

The dark colors of Tervand are not glamorous. Rather, he was on the right side. Yet his sword was very threatening. He would, too, because he chose and destroyed a magical core that was essentially monstrous.

“Chihuahua!”

“Gaaaahhhh!”

Large monsters rush in with a threatening sound, but it does nothing. The opponent was the Desert Tribe's greatest warrior, who was called a great hero.

Moreover, Tervand is a monster that does not run out of hurt or health, unless his real magic is depleted. There has never been a victory for any monster.

“Oh, my God. ”

Meanwhile, Korut, who was watching this, opened his mouth.

Tervand conquers the battlefield with only one sword.

It was because he looked like Latevand, a legendary great hero. The moment Korut's eyes fluttered violently.

“Glug! Glug! ”

Suddenly, the movements of the monsters changed.

They ignore the Tervand and start heading for the cave. He seems to think it's better to seek other prey than to deal with him.

Isha stepped forward.

“I'll take care of it, Joo. ”

A cold ice flower blooms around her. Use large area magic with ice properties to destroy monsters.

But then, reality shook its head.

“No, I'll do it. ”

“Yes? But · · · · · · · · · ·. ”

“I want to test my training achievements. ”

In response, Isha shuts her mouth without a word. After a few moments, she pulls back and the reality pulls her magic up. Then I stared at the monsters and recited them briefly.

“Shadow Chain. ”

Beginner, dark magic that weaves more than one object's shadow and instantly blocks the opposing team's movements. It is generally known that the limit is to weave the shadows of dozens of individuals.

But the reality was different.

Tsk! Tsk! Quadruck!

The shadows of all the monsters that passed through the Tervand rise. Then I got together someplace. Not only that, the corpses of the dead monsters began to coalesce as well.

“Kick? Kiririric! ”

“Kahaha!”

Living and dead monsters blend together and grow like giant snowballs.

Subsequently, he tightly grasped the hand that reached out to them.

“Dead Explosion. ”

Beginner black magic that burns up the remaining magical power of the corpse.

And as soon as the magic kicks in.

Bam! Bam!

The snowball begins to burst violently. Even the living monsters were unable to escape the explosion due to the blockage of their movement through the shadow chain.

Not long after that.

The explosion lasts several minutes. Of course, there were no monsters that survived the explosion. Isha was amazed at her ability to kill all the monsters with just two beginner enchantments.

“I can't believe you're applying like this. You're amazing, Joo! ”

“That's definitely awesome. It's amazing.”

On Ferda's compliment, he smiled at Bathsheba.

Meanwhile, around that time, Tervand defeated the last of the large monsters. By the time I crushed the Magic Core and took my breath away. The realization of this applauded lightly.

“Well done,”

Even though the monsters were a little engraved, the sight Tervand showed was truly great. So the reality was not impressive. However, Tervand tightens his elongated head as if it were a matter of his own making.

“I'm sorry, I should have taken care of everything. ”

“It's okay. It's good to be able to test magic. ”

Tervand lowers his head silently as he smiles.

Then I suddenly flashed my eyes as if I had remembered something.

“Ah, the king. ”

“Huh?"

“Then I found a group of monsters chasing me near the sand dunes. ”

Turns out, Tervand reflects on Ferda. He's asking for your opinion on what to do. Ferda shakes her head instead of answering. It meant there was no reason to help.

Then Tervand added the report.

“But the monster was a little strange. ”

“How was it weird? ”

“It wasn't a monster I could see in the desert. In my personal judgment, whether or not there is an Akasha that they have mentioned. ”

Akasha. The language of the Desert Tribe, meaning the Devil.

Suddenly, the word Akasha popped up, and Korut, as well as Silvane and Ferda's face, hardened. Then Tervand began to describe the appearance of the monster he had seen.

“They were covered in thick bark. Another bizarre walk with a grumpy cry. ”

“Akasha!”

Before the story of Tervand is finished.

The idle Korut opens his eyes and shouts.

“Their acacia! ”

Seeing that, the last time I explained about Akasha, I thought I said that my whole body was covered in bark.

He nods, looking up at Ferda.

“Yes, what should I do? ”

Akasha was the forefront of the second disaster.

I had no intention of running away in front of him. Ferda glares at both eyes and talks to Tervand.

“Lead the way, go straight ahead. ”

Fear of Ferda's end.

The group pursues Tervand to the other side of the hill.
