Chapter 140: God Killer
"Old man Oli?!"
Eve, who was the last person to be dragged inside Oliver’s Traveler, couldn’t help but be surprised when she found that the main five of Star Breaker, who had been scattered and fighting earlier, were now all falling from the sky as they got closer to the Hidden One.

"Kid, I’ve got no time to explain. Cillian will hand you an Artifact and try to kill that God. Then... we’ll see."
Eve frowned. Then, she realized that the information she had received, that Arthur was a Heretic and was trying to summon a God, came from Cillian, who was looking at her right now.

Cillian smiled before handing the last broken shard of glass over to Eve and started explaining how everything would turn out.
"The Shepherds were doing a formation earlier. By the looks of it, it doesn’t have to be a perfect isolation since they were all just scattered around the open shrine below. However, the important thing is that we surround that ’God’ and use this Artifact against it."
’They seemed to be waiting for the Hidden One’s transformation phase, when he wasn’t moving. That was the reason they were waiting for it to fully summon. Use this Artifact and kill him before he starts moving... However, this ’God’ is already moving freely because I disrupted their plans. The plan of killing it before it could move is no longer something we can do right now.’
Keeping that thought to himself made Cillian let out another sigh before asking the group. He already had an idea in mind, but just to make sure it would be the last option, he asked the group first.
"Is anyone here right now who can confidently hold that ’God’ for a minute?"
Dead silence.
When they faced the question, their heads couldn’t help but turn toward the rampaging Hidden One and the surrounding thunder strikes that had fallen upon Viola.
Thankfully, just as the Shepherds were attacking the area, a wide-scale evacuation was carried out, forcing people to leave their homes.
As for those who hadn’t listened, the authorities around Viola had already done their best to move them, and it was no longer their fault if people refused to listen.

Everyone questioned themselves as they held their breath, waiting for Cillian to say something, before a small chuckle escaped his lips, making their heads turn toward him.

Then, Cillian sighed.
’You’re being so cooperative, scent of Death. Are you in a good mood because you managed to snatch whatever the Hidden One had?’
Cillian remembered the last message he had seen when he decided to follow his desire to end the Hidden One and Arthur right here and now.

At first, Cillian was confused by the scent of Death’s words saying ’mimic it,’ but he eventually realized that it was referring to the Hidden One’s thunder strikes being copied by him.
However, Cillian found that statement absurd for a brief moment.
First of all, the Hidden One was not a Piece. The Abilities that he could copy according to Mimicry’s description only referred to the abilities of Pieces. At least, that’s what was working until now.
That’s why he was confused about why it was telling him to copy it.
Second, and the most important matter of all, was whether he would be able to copy it. If what the scent of Death said was true, then he might be able to pull off the crazy idea that had formed inside his head.
That idea is ’fighting’ the Hidden One by himself.
The tip of his lips started to twitch.
He imagined himself in a scene where he, an extra, was ’fighting’ the Hidden One by himself. Well, that fight was really just him holding that God down because of the Artifact, but he was willing to think of it as a fight because it was cool to imagine.
It was because he was willing to gamble on the Artifact’s function. After all, he had seen its description and name, and the chances of succeeding increased.
However, something strange appeared in his Inventory for the first time.
The active ability and negative effects were filled with question marks, while only its condition was showing.

Coming with that decision, a bold answer escaped from Cillian’s lips as his mouth twitched.
"Get ready. I’ll handle it."
Oliver widened his eyes. The rest of Star Breaker found that statement ridiculous, especially since the question he had asked earlier was about something Cillian was about to do. The only one who complained about the situation was Eve.
"Wait, what do you mean get ready, Cillian? Something is not clear about this! Handle it? You’re going to hold that thing?!"
Just as Eve complained about the plan being full of holes and the absurdity of the situation, Oliver used his ability to put them high in the sky again before performing another set of actions and pulling Eve from inside.

Cillian saw how Oliver kept going back and forth, appearing and dragging the rest of Star Breaker out while positioning them enough to surround the Hidden One without getting hit by the thunder strikes.
Then, Cillian heard Cale talking to the side.
"Kid, I’ll trust you for now."

Cillian glanced at Cale’s head, which had already turned into a Death Flag, knowing that he was not safe from death either if they failed to do this.
"Not so ordinary soldier, huh."
Cale could only shrug before Oliver appeared and dragged his ass inside, leaving only him and Scott falling through the air.
Rumble—!
"How... are you going to hold that thing down while we try to make this work?"
Scott couldn’t help but ask Cillian a question. Eve’s complaints earlier made sense since Cillian looked like he wasn’t in the condition to be doing anything drastic.
But Cillian only chuckled.
"Just do your job being a piggyback. I’ll handle it."
Soon, Oliver appeared right beside them before dragging them yet again, causing them to appear high above in the sky, this time almost directly above where the Hidden One was bringing down the thunder strikes.
The three watched the thunder strikes for a brief moment before Cillian spoke to them in a slightly hoarse voice.
"Make me go near it."
Cillian demanded, which jolted Scott awake while Oliver hesitated. That only lasted for a moment, though, since Oliver immediately prepared himself as the bleeding at the corner of his mouth started to show again, something he couldn’t afford to reveal while Star Breaker was with them.

Cillian watched the timer of his Death Coin’s luck tick down. Then, he found himself dragged inside the window that Oliver created while being piggybacked by Scott.
Then, another scene unfolded before them as they found themselves inside the thunder strike zone.

Cillian clicked his tongue as thunder strikes kept falling below. One of them had already struck Oliver in the shoulder.
Then, he shouted.
"Closer!"
Oliver gritted his teeth, still feeling the tingling sensation of pain spreading throughout his body from that single strike alone.
Then, he made another window and dragged Cillian and Scott inside.
They made their way further inside into the Hidden One’s dangerous strike zone.

Oliver slid his hand once more, seeing that Scott had also been hit by the strike, miraculously without it hitting Cillian. He ignored it and went further inside the strike zone.
’Fucking work!’
Cillian cursed inwardly before shouting as the distance between him and the Hidden One had already become shorter than before.
"Mimicry!"
