Chapter 309: Battles Everywhere
None of them had expected one of them to die so easily. Sam scanned the entire army with cold eyes.
There were significantly more level 7 in the opposite army than there were in the pack but they were not scared.
Marcus clashed with another level 7 from the Avian race, they exchanged hundreds of blows in a split second.
Each clash sent shockwaves ravaging the land all around them, lower level Fayera were sent flying like ragdolls, every bone in their bodies shattered into fragments.
The dust cleared and Marcus appeared holding the head of a bird, his cold eyes also scanned the army as if searching for his next prey.
Melissa landed in front of the army and growled, her fur stood erect like steel needles.
Then she howled, a piercing howl shook the eardrums of the weaker members of the opposite army.
Her gaze landed on three Fayera and an Espara all at level 7, without a second thought she lunged at them.
This caught them by surprise then surprised was replaced anger, " You dare challenge us by yourself?!" A Sage Turtle roared.
His three metres tall humanoid turtle body stepped forward, his shell glowed with blue light then water exploded from the ground like a geyser.
A flood standing a hundred metres tall crashed towards Melissa destroying everything in its path.
Melissa didn’t back down, her arm pulled back like a bowstring and she punched, the air exploded in front of her.
A cannon of air pierced through the giant wave but dissipated halfway through, ’ This water is too dense.’
She realised the water was much much denser than normal water yet acted exactly like normal water.
She punched a thousand times in a single second drilling a massive hole through the flood of dense water.
This caught the Sage Turtle by surprise, his race was well known for their ability to control water.
Only the Sibiya clan of the round table was known to rival them and even then, their properties were different.
The Sibiya clan controlled water in all states including solid and gases but their water rarely had special properties.
The Sage Turtles on the other hand controlled very dense water where a single drop was as heavy as a mountain.
Of course he was not at that level but his water was still too dense to just be pierced through by airwaves.
" Be careful, she seems to possess monstrous strength, more than we estimated." He warned the other three next to him.
Of them was a vampire, she licked her lips upon seeing Melissa, " Leave this one to me, I’ll prove today that we’re are the superior species."
Said the vampire, " Blood Morphis." She activated her blood Morphis and grew giant bat wings on her back.
Her ears grew long and pointed and her nails turned into pitch black claws, dark red aura surrounded her body.
The smell of blood spread through the entire battlefield then she waved her hand, all the blood of the fallen closest to her flew towards her.
Using it she conjured an umbrella of blood, " Blood Fall." A red cloud appeared above her, with a gentle wave the cloud expanded.
In a blink of an eye it was already a kilometre in diameter then a rain of blood fell but strangely it fell sideway.
As if blown by wind the rain of blood all fell towards Melissa like tiny red bullets that came in an endless volley.
Vampire abilities grew more powerful the higher ones rank is, starting with barons having only two.
The ability to control blood and the ability to turn into bats, viscounts with the extra ability to turn into black fog.
Then at last were counts who then gain the ability to give properties to their blood and every rank above had the same abilities but stronger.
This vampire gave the property of acidic corrosion to her blood, anything touched by her blood would boil and burn in agony.
Even the air sizzled as the rain fell, the werewolves behind Melissa couldn’t retreat in time.
John appeared before them with his shield, the shield expanded covering the entire sky and he blocked the rain.
Melissa on the other hand did not bother to dodge or block the rain but ran straight through it.
" Ke ke ke, what a fool, now burn in agony and perish little dog." The vampire laughed in glee.
It couldn’t imagine Melissa surviving her acid blood rain after taking it with her body but soon after her eyes twisted with fear.
Melissa clapped her hands, the blood sizzling on her body was pushed away and so was the rest of the rain.
Before the vampire could react Melissa stomped the ground and lunged at her like a cannon ball.
The air and ground exploded, she turned into a blur leaving a massive crater and shockwave behind.
The vampire tilted her umbrella using it to block but Melissa punched through it like it was wet paper.
She reached with her fangs to bite the vampire’s neck but before she could reach her.
A humanoid white tiger appeared to her left, a man from above and a water cannon from the right.
Knowing she couldn’t dodge them she continued attacking the vampire ignoring the attacks of the others.
She bit the vampire’s neck and injected her venom proceeded to rip her head off killing her instantly.
The vampire’s eyes remained wide open failing to understand what had just happened.
She was a count, logically her power should be enough to deal with the werewolves but she had greatly understanding them.
The three attacks landed almost at the same time, the white tiger slashed her side with its claws drawing there large gashes.
The man from above tried to split her body with a giant axe but only managed to cut to her spine.
Then a water ball hit her on the ribs like a cannon ball rattling her internals, she flew hundreds of metres like a ragdoll.
BOOOOOM, the ground exploded when she landed and she immediately jumped back to her feet.
Then reached out and pulled a beating heart off the chest of a level 5 Fayera before proceeding to eat it while everybody was watching.
The wounds they caused healed rapidly in front of their eyes. " She’s too durable." Commented the white Tiger.
They were descendants of the ancient beast the White Tiger, their claws and bones possessed an ability called " All Things Undone."
It wasn’t a fancy or flashy ability it just made their claws sharp, incredibly sharp, they believed they could cut anything.
The wound he caused was indeed the deepest almost reaching her organs and even drew marks on her bones which even the axe of the Inkstone Espara couldn’t do.
Still, for him to fail to cut through her entire body, if she was at a higher level he would understand but this, he couldn’t accept.
Melissa watched them fuming then cracked her neck and lunged again.
