As a divination witch, her ability to see the future was stronger than all of her siblings combined.

As such, she hated responsibility more than all of them, especially when she knew the consequences would be bad.

Right now her plan was simple, have the rest of them make up all the decisions so when things go south which she was certain they would, she would brush her hands off.

Her older sister, the leader of the elemental covenant sighed, she understood her sister very well.

The old Dragonewt sighed with her, " It doesn’t matter, stopping it right now will merely delay the inevitable."

He avoided her question, instead of admitting to not being able to stop the breaking of the seals, he gave an excuse.

A pretty good one at that. " 12 000 years ago, 9 of the 12 seals broke, the other three were stopped as Anyx had said.

I believe when that happened, the seals got weaker, if we stop them now, how long before they break again?" He asked.

Even Anyx didn’t answer, she had achieved her goal and resolved herself of ant responsibility.

" Well, you lot do whatever you want, I’ve warned you and I’m leaving." She stood and left before they could say anything else to stop her.

They watched her go. " We let the seals break lose, many will die no doubt but the Axiom will rise.

We just need to hold on until then, only they have the power to stop the calamity that will come." The Dragonewt Demigod argued.

" If the records are true that is." The elemental covenant leader answered softly.

---------------------------------------------

Adrian sat with the other leaders of the pack, after the episode with the Rendersol, they were all quiet tense.

The two lineages guarding the borders were working overtime to make sure nothing slips through.

" What Anyx told me still bothers me, I don’t know much about fate but no fate at all sounds ike a terrible deal."

" Or maybe it just means you’re free to write your own fate, it could be a good thing dude, don’t sweat it." Sam argued lazily.

Annie touched Adrian’s shoulder, " There’s no point worrying about it, we still have the breaking of the seals to deal with.

With Envy out, that makes four of the seven deadly sins, we don’t know how long until the others come lose."

" The sins are not a problem, we shouldn’t be the one to deal with them to begin with, leave that to the seven virtues." He told her.

" My lord weren’t you the one who argued that the virtues won’t take action because the sins make them more relevant?" Suzie asked.

" Yeah, still, it shouldn’t be us who bother ourselves with demons who don’t pose a threat to us."

Louis raised her hand, everybody gave her a strange look. " Sorry, it’s a weird habit I’m starting to develop."

She gently rubbed her now protruding belly, " I wanted to ask how the sins don’t pose a threat to us.

Disregarding their authorities which cause people to sin beyond their control, if we seal them like we did Bloody Mary, won’t that delay them loosening of the other seals?"

She asked, some of the other werewolves agreed with her.

" The so called sins are just mortal desires, why should we care if people indulge in their desires.

All the seven sins do is enhance what is already there. Gluttony and Greed are not a big issue for us."

He was right, Greed might be a bit effective but the werewolves were not a greedy race by nature.

Possessing treasure was not a good desire for them, perhaps greed for strength would their only weakness.

It was the reason the people living under them were so wealthy, they paid far beyond the standard salaries for those jobs.

As for Gluttony, disregarding their lack of need for food, even if they ate excessively, their bodies would just break everything down into energy.

Adrian continued, " Envy would be a bit of a nuisance and lust can only effect the unmated werewolves."

They all realised he was right again, they could feel the envy the other werewolves had for them and each other.

That envy was the reason some never returned when Annie called, even when they detected Adrian’s presence which every werewolf can, they still did not return.

" Sloth might actually worship Sam." Melissa mocked but Sam was too lazy to argue with her.

Everybody laughed, he really was the laziest werewolf.

" The only sin I believe we should worry about is wrath." Annie told them, they all nodded.

Werewolves were wrath incarnates, most wouldn’t notice because they knew how to control themselves.

But should they be angered, their true nature comes out. " As for pride." She whispered and everybody turned towards Adrian.

" What?" He asked with a confused expression, Annie smiled.

" Nothing, you’re fine." Adrian didn’t look convinced but he didn’t press.

" My lord,I have something else to report." He turned towards Suzie who approached him with a folder.

He signalled for her to read it,she cleared her throat. " Over the years, 1720 Omega werewolves had earned enough contribution points for a rank up."

He raised his eyebrow," That was a bit quick,is earning contributions points that easy?" He asked.

" It’s been close to eight decades,it’s natural some would earn enough points." Annie reminded him.

" My perception of time seems to be distorted." He sighed.

" It’s not just you, perhaps it’s the effects of immortality but time does seem to flow much faster.

The day you turned me feels like yesterday and it’s been almost eighty years." Annie leaned on him.

He looked at Suzie," I don’t think you need me for an advancement to Gemma rank do you?" He asked.

" I wanted your permission my lord,we shall take card of it." She answered, " The Delta leaders will personally take care of the advancement of their lineage members."

" Good, I also need to take care of some loose ends." They all knew what he was talking about.

They sighed, " Don’t do anything excessive Adrian." Annie warned him. He nodded at her like he understood.

" No, in fact, I’m coming with you." He stood up and followed him.

Somewhere in the human world in a large that never sleeps. A young handsome man with a pale expression was dragging a beautiful young girl no more 18 years old.

They arrived in a dark alley away from the eyes of others. " So, you said you wanted to know about vampires?" The man asked.

The young girl nodded barely able to hide the excitement on her face. He turned towards her revealing his sharp fangs.

She closed her eyes, her breathing got heavy and she revealed her neck. He leaned in to bite her.

He sunk his fangs into her neck and started draining her blood. Her eyes opened wide with fear.

She tried to speak but no voice came out, her face grew paler with each passing second as she tried to push him away.

" Being a vampire must be quite a blast in this era." They heard a voice behind the vampire.
