Chapter 262: Summoning
Beelzebub’s flesh jiggled but she didn’t even take a single step back. Annie attacked again.
An invisible force formed a fist and punched Beelzebub of gluttony in the stomach, her body absorbed the force again.
’ She’s eating the force of her attacks.’ Adrian immediately figured that out, Annie was about to attack a third time when he stopped her.
" While I would love to rip you to shreds Beelzebub, we have a bigger fish to catch, so this is goodbye for now."
He grabbed Annie and teleported away before Beelzebub can say anything. Annie glared at him angrily.
" Why did we leave? We could’ve taken her down." She complained.
" No, her authority infected an entire town and she had just eaten, she’s in a heightened state right now, we couldn’t have taken her down easily."
" But we still could’ve taken her no?" Annie sounded annoyed.
" You’re too emotional right now, there’d be no point in taking her down if we’ll just drain ourselves in the process.
With Famine’s authority all over the world, even regenerating lost esper is dangerous and takes much longer than usual.
He’s the bigger threat right now, Gluttony might consume a few towns, perhaps a city but Famine can kill tens of millions each day.
He heard what Nasita said, Famine’s bacteria is evolving each day, the longer we take to deal with him, the harder it will be."
Annie calmed down but she still looked angry. He opened gate to Alguard and they went back to their palace.
It was more of a castle to be honest, he had also created walls surrounding the palace and Annie drew some occult spells on them.
While she wasn’t a master of occult magic by any stretch of the word, she was good enough.
It wasn’t long after they returned that a guest arrived. Adrian recognised her immediately, clad in a dark robe with her face hidden.
It was the same witch who delivered the amulet when he still lived in lagon, she was carrying a wooden box.
Adrian knew this was from Meggie as well but he didn’t expect they would know to find him here.
" Greetings child of blood, I came bearing a package and a message from sister." The witch greeted.
" Let hear it." He replied and waited. She placed the box down.
" The message is, beware of the high council and the organisation." Adrian and Annie looked at each other.
’ That’s it?’ they both wondered, they were already wary of those two groups, in fact they knew those two were after them, especially him.
He nodded, " Thank you." The witch bowed and left without another word. Adrian opened the box.
Inside were two vials of a green and a red potion, he opened the green vial and sniffed the potion and it smelled like a forest and medicine at the same time.
The red potion had the scent of blood, Inside the box there was also a letter, it read.
" If you read this, then it means my predictions were correct and I’m currently not available.
I’m assuming multiple seals have been broken by now, including three of the sins and a horseman.
I’m not going to tell you how to deal with the sins, that little girl Annie should know that by now.
However to deal with the horsemen is not so easy, if I’m not mistaken, the one who is out is famine.
If it is, then you’ll need the red potion, its main purpose is to regenerate the blood and vitality.
However it’s incomplete, to complete it you need the heart blood of Gluttony. As you probably know by now.
Famine’s authority causes extreme hunger through bacteria that consume all the energy in your body.
Gluttony’s authority is different, it makes you full to fulfil its purpose, after all, eating out of hunger is not gluttony.
This authority naturally opposes that of Famine but it’s too weak in comparison, after all, famine is one of the four horsemen.
However, if you mix Gluttony’s heart blood with this potion, you can create something strong enough to weaken Famine enough for you to take his sigil.
If I’m wrong and it’s not famine but pestilence, then you’ll use the green potion, that one is also not complete.
However getting the last ingredient will be a bit tricky, since that ingredient is a piece of Pestilence’s authority.
However all you’ll need is a single cell of his body since his entire body is technically made of his authority as they are spirits.

He closed the letter and picked up the red potion. " Getting Gluttony’s heart blood will not be easy." He sighed.
Annie agreed, " When I attacked her, I felt my attacks disappearing as soon as they touch her body as if she was devouring them."
" She was, that’s her ability." He replied, he had seen it with his left eye. Her entire body was like a black hole.
It’s actually the reason he told Annie they should leave, her body was like a black hole that devoured everything Annie threw at her.
And it didn’t look like she had a limit, he couldn’t think of a way to take her down but he couldn’t tell Annie that.
So he presented a strong front saying they could’ve taken her down with some effort but they had to save their strength.
He wasn’t even sure if his venom would be enough or if gluttony would just gobble it down as well.
" Can’t we use our venom? That should work right?" She suggested.
" No, the venom is fast acting and will corrupt her heart blood which is what we need.
We need something she can’t devour, the letter said you know of a way to take down the sins, what is it?" He asked.
" The virtues." She answered. " Each opposing virtue should descend from heaven upon the release of their opposite sin.
Currently there are three sins who has been freed, Mammon of Greed, Lilith of Lust and Beelzebub of gluttony.
As such, three seraphim should have descended, Gabriel of Charity, Uriel of Chastity and Cassiel of Temperance.
I can try to summon Cassiel but I’m not sure if that spell will work, I just learnt it on the past decade."
While talking she started drawing a magic circle on the floor, her speed was faster than expected.
She drew runes from a language he couldn’t recognise but each rune she drew her face got paler.
" This would be more easier if I knew the language of the angels." She complained and coughed up blood.
At the centre of the magic circle was a scale but instead of a normal scale, it has two wine glasses on each side.
" Alright, it’s done." She dropped a single drop of her blood on the scale.
