The summoning circle grew with soft white light then a powerful presence stirred the entire room.

The pressure was so strong the entire castle shook alarming the werewolves. ’ It’s fine.’ he reassured them through the pack call.

A figure appeared in the centre of the summoning circle. She was dressed in pure white with a slim figure.

She exuded seductiveness different from that of Lilith. She had the charm of a noble lady.

Her every action exuded grace, " I have to say, you have quite a sturdy house, heart of destruction."

" Thank you lady Cassiel." Adrian thanked her respectfully. They still needed her help to a little humility was nothing.

Cassiel giggled, " You need not pretend Heart of destruction, I can see the pride burning in your eyes, so why did you summon me?" She asked looking at Annie.

Annie coughed up blood and her face got even paler, she looked sick, using that summoning spell took a lot from her.

" It was foolish to summon a seraphim without the appropriate spell, this substitute merely worked because it’s you but I would advise you not to try it again."

She warned her and Annie nodded, " I appreciate the warning, I think I’m going to rest for a while."

She left Adrian with Cassiel who folded her ten wings inside her body. If he didn’t know what she was, he could’ve mistake her for a human.

" So, will you tell me why you summoned me now?"

" We need your authority."

" My authority you say? Do you have any idea how ridiculous what you have just asked me is?"

Her face grew as cold as winter, her eyes started glowing and a scale made of fancy golden wine jars appeared.

The pressure she exuded was so strong it shook the entire castle to the point Adrian started seeing cracks.

He snapped his fingers and a pressure almost as strong came from the sky and pushed off her own aura.

He has used the wheel floating in the sky above his castle. ’ She’s strong, much stronger than what I felt front Gluttony.

I suppose that makes sense, after all, their powers are entirely dependent on them rather than others, unlike the sins.’

The seraphim had to maintain their authority themselves to grow strong, Chastity can never have sex.

Charity must have a giving hand and temperance must always consume the appropriate amount and no more.

Considering their ages rivaling that of the heavens, if they had been maintaining their virtues since then, their power would unimaginable.

He gulped, " I don’t mean to offend you lady Cassiel but we need your authority, or rather your sigil to deal with Gluttony.

Your scale is the only thing that can suppress her authority so please." Adrian lowered himself.

It was uncomfortable, it went against his very nature but he understood they needed this so he beared with it.

Cassiel giggled, " I’m not certain if it’s bravely or foolishness, what you’re asking would be like me asking the very thing that makes you who you are.

You’re asking me to give you my life and leave it in your hands, I don’t care for your reasons but that is not happening."

Adrian frowned, he started thinking of alternatives, including taking her sigil by force but dismissed that idea almost instantly.

" However.." she continued, " I will you help you take that glutinous whale down, I had every intentions of doing so in the first place.

But she is hidden to my eyes as I’m hidden to hers, if you can find her for me, I will take her down."

Adrian nodded, " That works but you cannot kill her, we need her heart blood."

Cassiel giggled, " Fear not, as unpleasant as it is, those things are unkillable, they are sins and as long as sin exists, so will they and as long as they exist, so will sin.

It self sustaining circle giving them near immortality." She clicked her tongue in annoyance.

Adrian opened the summoning circle allowing Cassiel to walk out of it, Suzie tended to them with tear abd biscuits.

However they rotted as soon as she touched them. She looked at Adrian with disapproving eyes.

Adrian shrugged, " This is why I’m so eager to deal with this apocalypse thing, now you know how we feel."

She smiled with amusement, " So you gave me such appetising snack to prove a point knowing I can’t eat it?

That’s quite cold, I haven’t had mortal food in eons, that was quite cruel of you, as expected of the heart of destruction."

Adrian frowned, " Why do you all keep calling me that?" He finally asked. Cassiel just giggled but she didn’t answer.

Adrian didn’t ask again, two days passed and Annie finally healed and it was time to leave.

Adrian opened a hole through the mist leading to the human world. They started at the city where Gluttony had been.

Not much had changed, corpses were still everywhere, he stole a glance at Cassiel to gauge her reaction.

She still maintained that noble look as if this didn’t bother her. ’ Annie was right, these angels don’t care one bit about the world, they do what only serves them.’

He concluded, then he used his left eye but noticed Cassiel’s gaze lingered on it for a bit too long.

It appeared she knew about this eye he randomly awakened and thinking back, Lilith recognised it as well.

In fact, she sort of feared it, he wondered why that was, he knew it can see the patterns of spells but that couldn’t be it.

He shook his head, thinking about the thought of these ancient beings was useless.

He used his eye to track the authority of Gluttony, unlike that of Famine, it flickered on and off.

He looked at Cassiel and noticed her Authority was constant then he noticed something else.

He wasn’t hungry, the constant hunger he felt due to Famine had subsided significantly.

Her authority was negating that of Famine with an even stronger effect than that Gluttony.

’ She really is stronger than her sin counterpart, but still, if she’s negating Famine’s authority, why did the cookies rot?’

He wondered then looked closely and realised she wasn’t negating all of it, some of Famine’s authority was coming through.

’ I see, even they aren’t as strong as the Horsemen, or maybe she’s doing it intentionally? No, she was serious about eating those cookies.’

" Let go." They flew off chasing after the authority of Gluttony searching wherever it was strongest.

They didn’t even care if humans saw them, honestly it didn’t matter anymore, the world was in chaos.

Whether the humans know the truth or not was irrelevant. It took them nearly an entire day to find her.

She was in a large city, there were Espara and Fayera there but even they were under her authority.

Fortunately there was still food so people weren’t to the point of eating each other yet or eating stones.

Except for the Fayera who also ate human meat like the ogres and the Krabols, they were going feral killing and eating every human they met.

The Espara who were meant to protect humans were busy stuffing themselves like their lives depended on it.

As soon as they appeared, Cassiel’s authority pushed away Beelzebub’s authority bringing peace to the city.
