Before Adrian could react, Lokna exploded his body into a pool of blood and disappeared.

Adrian raised his eyebrow, he couldn’t tell whether Lokna committed suicide or escaped but knowing vampires.

There was no way they would just kill themselves, ’ That’s an impressive escape ability.’

He couldn’t help but admire it, with Lokna gone he turned his attention to the remaining two.

Both looked terrified, the Balrock Espara stomped his foot on the ground trying to escape.

But the earth hardened like crystal catching him off guard. His eyes opened wide, " You..you..you." he stuttered.

" Did you think the earth belonged to you?" Adrian asked coldy. With Lokna gone, the chain focused on the Espara alone.

The speed at which he was draining his esper increased making the Espara weaker with each passing moment.

Seeing this, the sage turtle tried to run, they were not known for their speed, even one an entire level below them would be faster.

So, the sage turtle created a giant wave of water and rode it instead. The wave crashed through the battlefield like a harbinger of death.

The remaining army screamed and ran to no avail. The sage turtle did not care for them anymore.

All he wanted was to save his own life, werewolves were caught up in that wave as well.

It crushed their bones but their regenerative ability kicked in healing every wound soon after.

Since the sage turtle wasn’t actively trying to harm them but merely trying to escape, the power of the wave was not too overwhelming.

Adrian raised his hand and the bow appeared in his left him. The shield and sword disappeared.

He pulled the string and an arrow materialised between his fingers. He drew the bowstring to its limits.

Then he released, the bowstrings ability was more special and versatile. He could infuse any element into his arrows.

Simple but its power was immense, after all, this meant he could infuse even multiple elements into one arrow.

Silver lightning and silver flames Ignited around the arrow, the temperature spiked for dozens of kilometres.

Then he released the arrow, the lightning increased its speed while the flames increased its offensive power.

The sage turtle felt the arrow shooting towards it, he turned and conjured a wall of dark water.

The arrow hit the wall of water and exploded, steam covered the entire battlefield making visibility low.

The steam was hot enough to kill anybody below level 4 in mere seconds. The sage turtle sighed with relief.

Based on the fact that the entire wall of its dark water evaporated, it knew that arrow had enough power to kill it.

It turned around and tried to make the wave it was riding move faster then felt the she burning behind it.

It turned its head and saw a streak of silver shooting towards its head. The sage turtle puffed its shell.

The arrow exploded against its shell sending the sage turtle flying like a bolt of lightning, flames spread through the air burning the entire wave.

BOOOOOM, the sage turtle hit the ground a few kilometres away, the entire battlefield shook.

It stood back up inside a crater hundreds of metres wide. Its shell had a crack, the sage turtle started shaking.

Their shells were their pride as well their strongest defence, the crack terrified it more than anything.

However before it could digest its emotions, another arrow appeared faster than it could react.

It exploded against the shell then came another and another until this shell broke.

" NOOOOOOOO!" The sage turtle screamed and turned to run but another arrow shot towards it.

The sage turtle conjured a wall of water to block, its black water it had nurtured for hundreds of years was gone.

This was normal water, normal by their standards but it was still extremely heavy and dense.

Still, the arrow pierced right through with went through the sage turtle’s chest leaving a gaping hole.

The sage turtle looked down and all of its organs besides its heart wre gone. It raised its beaded eyes and looked at him.

Adrian merely gave it a dismissive glance like its life was not worth anything, the sage turtle died in despair.

Then he turned towards the last remaining enemy, he summoned back the sword and started walking towards him.

The Balrock clan Espara resisted and tried to break the chain but he couldn’t even budge it.

Even if he was at full power, he never would’ve been able to crack let alone break the chain.

Seeing he couldn’t even budge the chain, Adrian saw despair in his eyes but he didn’t care.

He continued walking towards him with steady steps, each step echoing in the Espara’s heart like a horn of doom.

" Please, don’t kill me, my family is rich, we can pay you, I’m from the Balrock clan, if you dare touch me..."

The Espara begged and threatened but all went into deaf ears, Adrian did not care for his excuses.

He stopped in front of the Espara and raised his sword, then dropped it like a guillotine, the world seemed to slow down.

The man closed his eyes and waited for death. Adrian looked down at him with cold eyes.

Boom, his heart beat loudly like a drum, he raised his head and saw a golden streak shooting down at him.

His instincts screamed at him and he jumped back dodging the golden streak, it pierced the ground and disappeared.

It left a hole about a metre wide that went deeper than even Adrian could see. He looked up.

In the sky, a figure clan in golden armour was looking down at him. ’ Strange.’ Adrian thought to himself.

" Hello cousin." The golden figure greeted him in a feminine voice and took off her helmet revealing a beautiful face with golden hair.

In their right hand was a golden sword that gave Adrian a terrible feeling, ’ What on Alguard is that sword.’

He used his left eye to study the sword and saw a pattern even more complicated than the authority of Famine.

This was the most complicated pattern he had seen so far, it presence seemed to cut the world itself.

’ What on Alguard is this and why do I feel such a connection to this woman?’ Adrian had many questions.

Before he could react, a golden sword descended from the sky and cut off the head of the Balrock Espara.

The man looked surprised, Adrian had seen the relief in his eyes when this woman appeared.

This caught even Adrian by surprise. The woman looked at him, " We’ll meet again cousin, do not disappoint me." She disappeared.
