Chapter 316: Arthuretta Pendragon
Somewhere in the human continent in Alguard, a massive golden palace floated above the clouds.
This was the grand palace of the Pendragon clan, the strongest clan in the round table. Strangely, they also had the smallest number of clan members.
Having children for them is much harder than it was for the other clans. A woman clad in golden armour landed in front of this castle.
Then she walked inside, everywhere she went people bowed their heads at her but she ignored them.
She raised her head with pride, her arrogant eyes scanning the entire castle like it was her own playground.
And in a sense it was, for she was Arthuretta Pendragon, daughter of Arthur Pendragon, she was the princess of the Pendragon clan.
Arthuretta walked through the castle with a purpose and went through the back to a massive garden.
There sat two people with long golden hair, a man and a woman, they looked at her and the woman smiled.
" You have returned." Said the man in a cold deep voice.
Arthuretta bowed, " Yes father." She replied.
He nodded, " And, did you see him?" He asked.
" I did." She responded, their conversation sounded like that of an employer and employee.
Too formal without any sense of kinship and love, this was how the family operated, even in marriage.
Those with the strongest Pendragon blood would marry each other unless they were too closely relaxed like siblings.
But distant cousins were good to go, in fact her own parents were distant cousins. Of course there were exceptions.
Her late grandmother was a witch making her part witch, unfortunately she could barely understand the witch language.
Which is more than anybody else can who’s not a pure blood witch can do. Arthuretta was not really eager to talk to her father.
She preferred her dotting mother instead. Her father Arthur took a sip of tea, " What do you think of him?" He asked.
Arthuretta thought about it, " I couldn’t gauge much from the little interaction we had but he’s strong.
Even though he’s an entire level below those fools who went to attack him, he single handedly killed most of them.
Only that vampire managed to escape by using an unorthodox method, it was quite impressive."
" You witnessed the entire battle?" Arthur asked.
Arthuretta nodded, " Even his subordinates are more impressive than the members of the other clans.
If their group manages to grow I’m afraid they might be as strong as our clan one day, if that day comes, the Fayera would surpass us." She answered.
Arthur seemed to be lost in his thoughts, " You think that highly of them?" He asked.
" Yes, while individually they might not be stronger than members of our clan, they’re capable of overwhelming us with numbers.
For others this might not be the case, that includes vampires but they’re different, the chaos you spoke of father, it’s quite dangerous." She answered.
" Indeed, do you think you can win against him?" Arthur asked, he watched his daughter’s face to see if she was lying.
Arthuretta nodded, " While he’s strong, even in the same level, I would still win." She answered confidently.
" Still father, I do not understand why I’m not allowed to kill him, I could’ve ended things right there." Said Arthuretta with confusion.
" Destiny." A voice answered behind her, she turned and saw an old angel standing there with a long white beard reaching his chest.
The angel had five pairs of wings like the seraphim but this was not one of the seraphim.
" Lord scribe." The couple stood up and bowed at the angel. Arthuretta did not, her eyes turned cold instead.
" You keep telling me of destiny but won’t killing him now solve things?" She asked in an irritated voice.
" Be patient child, your destiny has been written and what’s written can not be unwritten.
Try as you might, it is your destiny, when Amaggadon descends, you will be the sword of heaven." The angel answered.
Arthuretta bowed her head but said nothing, she hated this destiny thing. " Excuse me Father, mother, lord scribe, I will take my leave now." She walked off.
" Forgive her lord scribe, she is young and does not understand what’s at stake here but fear not, when Amaggadon comes, she’ll be ready." Said Arthur.

Back on the battlefield, the werewolves were cleaning the battlefield, they first collected the corpses of their fallen.
There were five of them in total, objectively speaking, there were too few casualties considering the scale of the army they were facing.
To any general, this would be considered a monumental feat but to the werewolves, a death of 1 was 1 too many.
The mood was somber, then they collected the hearts of everybody including the humans.
" You’re not planning to..?" Annie asked but Adrian didn’t answer so she kept quiet and sighed.
She understood his feelings, Adrian was drifting further from humanity and after this, he would probably cut all feelings he had for them.
She couldn’t fault him, before he could tolerate their hatred for him and still consider himself a part of them.
After all, it was true that he was part human but after losing pack members to them, he might just see them as he does vampires.
She hoped at least he wouldn’t see all humans like that.

At the same time, Meggie was looking at a bowl of blue water in her small hut, through it she could see the fate strings of the world.
This allowed her to see the future and past of the world but also see what’s happening presently.
Currently she was watching Adrian, when she saw his eyes she sighed. " So, he’s awaken your blood?" She whispered to herself and smiled.
Then the blue water suddenly turned blood red, ’ What’s happening?’ Meggie wondered and retreated.
A pale hand came out of the bowl then another and another until a thousand hands apparently.
A massive pale creature that looked like centipede with a human head and hands appeared in her hut.
Meggie retreated and took a fighting stance, " Hawu Lo Mlilo." She cast a shield of fire of in front of her.
’ A demon.’ " Nkemba Yokukhanya." She created a sword of light after realising she was facing a demon.
A blood floated next to her and opened to an exorcist spell page. The demon with a thousand hands looked at her.
Its pitch black eyes scanning her entire body and it licked its lips. " Greetings dark witch of calamity.
I am the pale duke of a thousand hands, Bezathon, I bear a message for you, from the one unnamed." Said the demom.
" Message, what message?" Meggie asked.
" The destined are soon to mature, hell will rise and heaven will descend, the battle of old will commence one more and the genesis will cease once more."
Meggie raised her eyebrow, " What on hell does that even mean?" She asked.
" I have delivered." The demon duke answered and dived into the bowl and disappeared leaving her confused.
She sighed, ’ No matter I need to inform Adrian of them, I really wished those people didn’t bother with him.’ she sighed again.
