Chapter 1930 - 1523: Unexpected Surprise
Seeing that Xiao Shi didn’t say anything, Su Mo didn’t think much of it. He turned his head and said to Tilo.
"Tilo, go find some repair personnel, have them check the damage in the ship’s engine room and command room, see if it can be repaired."
"No problem."
Tilo answered immediately, then turned and left with some people.
Qian Chengxue asked Su Mo curiously, "Su Mo, you want to repair this ship? The damage on this ship is so severe, I doubt it can be fixed in a short time."
"I know that. I’m not planning to fully repair it. I just want to try and see if we can start up the ship’s systems and see if we can find some data in there. Maybe there’ll be some unexpected gains!"
Su Mo roughly explained to Qian Chengxue.
"So that’s how it is."
Qian Chengxue thought about it and felt it made quite a bit of sense.
Over an hour later, Tilo brought over some maintenance personnel. They began checking the central console in the command room. They removed the outer protective panel and, seeing the exposed wiring, each of them showed a shocked expression.
"This craftsmanship is so advanced!"
...
Su Mo stood quietly off to the side, watching them fiddle with things.
At this moment, a rush of hurried footsteps came, and Sun Duoxiang ran over excitedly.
"Boss, boss!"
"What?"
"Guess what I found?"
"What did you find?"
Su Mo asked impatiently.
"The ship’s ammo depot is full, and it’s all High-grade stuff. And most importantly, we found a large number of Mecha in the hangar, and there are many Divine Guard Series Mecha!"
Sun Duoxiang said in extreme excitement.
Hearing Sun Duoxiang’s words, Su Mo was also quite surprised, but he quickly relaxed.
Back then this Star Destroyer was ambushed when it was leaving Ceres and ended up crashing. It fell in a really suffocating way, never properly unleashing its combat power, so it’s not strange that it’s still in a full-load State.
After thinking for a bit, he said to Sun Duoxiang, "Move all the loot we can take to the Immortal Blade."
"Got it, boss..."
Sun Duoxiang agreed, and just as he was about to leave, he paused again.
"What is it?"
Su Mo turned his head and asked.
"Boss, we’ve scored so much good stuff, how come you don’t seem excited or happy at all?"
"I’m happy. You just need to keep a normal mindset, stay calm about everything."
Su Mo lectured Sun Duoxiang.
"As expected of the boss, that makes sense. I need to deeply reflect on myself too."
Sun Duoxiang replied with great admiration.
"Alright, go on then!"
Su Mo waved him off as he spoke.
"I didn’t expect you to have this kind of awareness."
The creator·Swallower spoke in a low voice to Su Mo, rather surprised.
"Of course. People grow. It’s all small stuff."
Su Mo showed a faint smile, though in his heart he was thinking: he’d already stripped the Eternal Sleep Clan’s warehouse clean—what payout could beat that?
At this time, one of the subordinates in charge of maintenance ran up to Su Mo and said,
"Boss, we did a rough check. The ship’s central system isn’t badly damaged. It just has the power lines cut and the backup power completely drained, which is why it couldn’t start."
"What’s the situation with the engine room?"
Su Mo pondered for a moment and asked.
"Not clear yet. Our people went to check it, but most likely it did suffer some damage."
"Then is there a way to at least start the ship’s systems?"
"That’s easy. We just need to recharge the backup power. It’s just that we don’t have the permissions to fully reboot it."
The maintenance personnel asked hesitantly.
The creator·Swallower replied in a low voice,
"Have them take care of the backup power. I will handle the rest."
After listening, Su Mo said to them, "You just need to get it powered up. Leave the rest to us."
"Okay!"
The subordinates present quickly answered, then began repairs in full swing.
Several hours later, the backup power in the command room had been replaced, and the damaged lines had been roughly repaired.
"Boss, it’s done. It should be able to start now."
The maintenance personnel said to Su Mo.
Su Mo, still a bit uneasy, asked the creator·Swallower, "You sure you can do this? This Starship isn’t low-tier."
"Hmph, don’t underestimate me!"
The creator·Swallower replied with a face full of arrogance.
"Alright, pretend I didn’t ask. Time to watch you perform."
"Go get that piece of clothing. There’s a special key in the left pocket. Take it out."
The creator·Swallower said to Su Mo.
Su Mo’s expression turned rather interesting after hearing that.
"Doesn’t this count as cheating?"
"Shut up!"
The creator·Swallower replied grumpily.
With a helpless face, Su Mo walked over to the clothes that had been moved to the corner. Actually, after he got the Stone Tablet, he hadn’t really touched these clothes or the sand and ash inside, kind of as a sign of respect.
But since there was a key, Su Mo wasn’t stupid enough not to use it.
He squatted down, reached in and felt around. Soon he found an irregular, multicolored key that looked very beautiful and High-grade.
Su Mo examined it carefully, then communicated with Xiao Shi.
"What do I do next?"
"Go to the central control console."
The creator·Swallower prompted.
Su Mo then walked to the console. Following the creator·Swallower’s instructions, he found a hidden insertion slot, inserted the key, and pressed the start switch.
In an instant, the entire central console lit up, and a virtual interface appeared.
"Please enter the secret key!"
"Xiao Shi, it doesn’t work. It still needs a secret key?"
Su Mo said to the creator·Swallower.
"Put both your hands on the console!"
The creator·Swallower reminded Su Mo.
Seeing this, Su Mo placed both hands on the console. Immediately, the entire virtual interface twisted, and countless lines of code surged into view.
The creator·Swallower began cracking it.
Very soon, a string of complex secret-key numbers appeared automatically.
"Secret key verified. Entering system..."
"Warning: Artificial Intelligence system damaged, unable to activate. Switching to conventional operating system."
...
Watching the prompts pop up one after another, Su Mo’s eyes lit up. It looked like it worked!
Soon the virtual interface showed that the system had been entered.
Su Mo immediately began operating it, checking what information and data were in the system.
Qian Chengxue and the others stood quietly beside him, watching.
"Burial list..."
"Merit reports..."
...
"What the hell is all this..."
Su Mo frowned as he browsed through the information he’d pulled up.
"Keep looking. There might be something valuable."
The creator·Swallower forced himself to say.
Just then, as Su Mo kept searching, he suddenly pulled up a special virtual projection map.
A giant virtual image of Ceres appeared, densely dotted with green points, as well as gray and red points.
Su Mo was stunned. He rubbed his eyes carefully, then tapped one of the green dots.
"ID 03, Divine Race Ceres Garrison·Sky Dome Base!"
Su Mo’s heart clenched hard when he saw the prompt, and he immediately tapped another green dot.
"ID 18, Divine Race Ceres Garrison·Transmission Base!"
...
Staring at this virtual map, Su Mo shouted in boundless excitement.
"Holy crap, all the marks on here are Divine Race bases they left behind!"
"Boss, calm down."
Seeing Su Mo so worked up, Long Ke quickly tried to talk him down.
"Calm down my ass. Our current Divine Guard Mecha formation all came from Divine Race bases dug up by the Eternal Sleep Clan. You know how strong their combat power is. Now we’ve got the entire Divine Race base map. If we dig all of them up, what do you think will happen?"
Su Mo’s eyes were practically bloodshot.
"Uh, if we dig everything up, damn, we could form a Divine Guard Army on our own."
Long Ke couldn’t help shouting.
Even Qian Chengxue and the others nearby sucked in a breath of cold air.
"If we really excavate all of this, it’ll be insane. It’s basically inheriting all of the Divine Race assets in the Negative Universe. Quick, bring a data disk, copy the data out. We’re about to hit the jackpot."
Su Mo said, extremely excited.
It wasn’t really excessive for Su Mo to be this worked up. These were the coordinates of all Divine Race bases. You have to know, it’s not that the Divine Race forces couldn’t hold and were wiped out; most of them committed suicide!
There were definitely Weapons and wealth left behind that far exceeded expectations.
"Yes!"
Tilo hurriedly took out a data disk from his person.
Su Mo inserted it into the console, then performed a series of operations, copying the data onto the data disk.
Before long, a prompt popped up.
"Copy successful!!"
Seeing this prompt, Su Mo’s expression grew even more excited and fired up.
