Disciple of Immortal

Lesson 39: The Baptism of Arloburg

I entered the city of Aaroburg from the gate.

Buildings are densely lined and crowded.

Outside the city walls, demons boil, so I guess it's densely populated.

Rovis had spoken of the city as remote, but he feels a lot noisier than the city he lived in Japan.

Some people seem to open the outdoor shop on their own and rub it with the guards.

At the end of the road, the black-robed people had carved or embedded a sorcery ceremony on the wall.

To see the magic ceremony, it seems like something that enhances the effectiveness of the junction.

It seemed to set up an exorcism junction so that demons could hardly approach the entire outer walls of the city, so maybe it's that reinforcement.

Anyway, because of them, even though it was just a road full of people, it was narrower.

Hard to walk away from people.

Are other cities overflowing with people?

No, it's half remote, so maybe I couldn't make the city walls much bigger.

I was walking in search of the Adventurer Guild, but I don't see anything like it.

... I'm starting to see a lot of people with weapons, so I think it's around here if there is.

I'm a little afraid to speak up, but I might have to ask people to go.

"... hey!

If I had made the aftermath, a big man who had been here for a long time moved to the side and was about to collide.

I kill the shock by turning my body behind my back while I take it on my shoulder.

"Excuse me, I was just looking for a place..."

I bow my head as I explain.

Obviously he was walking around without looking around, too, but if you apologize, the corner wouldn't stand.

They grabbed my shoulder when I tried to leave as it was.

"Nice work... Bowes. I can't believe you bumped into me and tried to escape with your head down properly."

I look back and see the man's face.

He was a big man with a nice width, with a figure of nearly one hundred and ninety centimeters.

He had a large scar on his face and had a deep strong side of carving.

I can peek at my age in the late forties or so.

On his back, he was carrying a big axe.

Later, a short man appeared on the face of the fire.

"Mr. Octavio, what's wrong with him?

"This guy, he hit on me, and he tried to run away. That hurt, man, Bowes."

I finally figured it out here.

This big guy... Octavio hit me on purpose.

The people around us were walking around avoiding us and trying not to look.

"It's a beautiful robe, even a magic bag. Did your dad buy you one? I hate, hate, hate, and want to kill someone who doesn't know how hard it is like you."

... tangled up in a troublesome person.

He was a hitter.

... I wonder if we can do something about it if we fight.

Octavio is a giant, obviously thick muscle bone.

But maybe it's a level that's not very different from Rovis's.

Think that far and calm down.

No, in the first place, the fight itself must be avoided.

I don't know much about this city, about the world.

I can think that if I take care of it weirdly, I won't be able to stay here.

If you can afford to avoid rubbing, you should.

"Excuse me...... I don't have much of a hand, could you miss it with the money?

"I don't hate guys who understand things, but..."

Octavio laughs.

"Hey, every magic bag on that hip. I wanted it, too."

I felt my expression tense.

Some of these magic bags are from Renaele.

Dangerous objects such as "The Curse Mirror of the Distorted Realms" are carried by space-time magic, but medicines and Acacia's Memoirs are put in here so that they can be taken out at any time.

You can't just give her memorabilia to a man like him.

... If you can run and run, should you?

When I stepped back and tried to check Octavio on the Status Check, I heard a woman coming from behind me.

"What, Mr. Guard! Well, it's a fight! One of them looks like he was stabbed...!

A twitch rose from the surroundings to the voice of being stabbed.

"What, a murder! Where's the guy who stabbed him!

I was in a remote position, I can see two guards coming towards me who were controlling the dewstore.

I wondered what the story was about being stabbed, but I immediately realized that it was apparently convenient for me to call the guards.

"O, Mr. Octavio, it's not good when it's weirdly important! The next time I had a problem, they just threatened to remove my guild...!

The little man on Octavio panics.

"You have a stinking piece of shit. I'll kill you......!

Octavio teeth and stares at the two guards.

"You're in luck, Bowes, but you don't think this is it!

Octavio shook up his right arm, punched me in the shoulder and ran away.

"... don't worry, Mr. Octavio. I remember this voice. It's a white wizard pomela."

Finally, he looked back at the crowd and laughed as his escort little man said that to Octavio.

I look at my shoulder.

Did it hurt... not at all?

He has such a fine axe, and Octavio is definitely a man who makes demon hunting his business...... he would be an adventurer.

Besides, Octavio would have been prepared to engage me.

You should have had enough levels to sell fights to adventurers.

Before Octavio became invisible, I checked him in the Status Check.

Octavio Augrain

Race: Ningen

Lv: 28

HP: 112/129

MP: 106/106

‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐‐

I blinked.

Did I see something wrong?

I may have checked other ordinary people.

Rovis is better off with this. No, that's not the earliest dimension.

I don't think I can do it as an adventurer with that.

"That guy...... could it just be a big attitude wooddust?

No, can that be stupid?

But I very much don't think I can do it as an adventurer at level 28.

Even Rovis had level 181.

Even that Rovis.

Even if Rovis was actually an unusual strong man in the vicinity of the city of Arloburg, there can be no level 28 of Octavio exactly.

In me, Rovis, the revaluation theory was floating or disappearing.

Later...... when it comes to doing it with the Adventurer Alliance, let's sneak up on the status of the others.

You probably won't notice that you're doing a Status Check.

Thoughts are taken over by status displays, which can lead to exposing large gaps in distress, and may be distrustful, but there should be nothing wrong with the amount of sneaking around in the guild.

Even if you steal from it, it probably won't pass on to you in person.

Neither the demons of Hell's Hole (Coquitos) nor Rovis reacted to my Status Check.

Renaele told me that in order for the inhabitants of this world to check their status, they need to shed their magic on a dedicated tablet-shaped item.

When I was thinking, the guards rang.

"Hey, are you the one who said we were having a fight? There's no blood."

He hits me with a frustrating face with questions.

"I thought you probably saw it wrong... But it helped you to come."

"Chip! I let you get away with illegal open-air merchants!

A crack in the guard came spitting.

When I turned against my body and avoided, the spitting guard pounded his tongue and they both left the scene.

... Is there not a person in this city of Arloburg who can afford much room in his heart?

Behind my brain, Lunaere, who was desperately desperate to rewrite the foundations and tricks of magic briefly while surrounded by a book of magic for me, and a Noble Mimic look at it as I nibbled.

"Mr. Renaele... I'm starting to miss Hell's Hole (Coquitos)..."

As I sighed, I saw a little girl in the crowd, anxiously peeking at me.

He is deeply wearing a blue beret on his head, from which a slightly shorter blonde with a wavy hanging peeks.

He was anxiously hugging the large cane in his hand.

I wondered if she would have helped me, but when my eyes met, I raised and lowered my body horribly, running away from my eyes and running away.
