The Monk and Daoist scurried far away because of something Qing Zhu said. Standing beside her, Lin Yun was a little curious. What could Qing Zhu have possibly said to scare those two guys so badly?

Seeing Lin Yun look at her, Qing Zhu smiled charmingly. "You want to know what I told them?"

Without waiting for Lin Yun’s reply, Qing Zhu leaned in close to his ear, her breath fragrant as an orchid, and said, "I told them I’m already your woman."

Hearing this, Lin Yun didn’t know how to respond. He had to be on guard against a woman like Qing Zhu at all times; she was just too dangerous.

Not daring to pay any more attention to Qing Zhu, the Monk and Daoist quickly turned their gazes to Xi Zijin, the Demon Fiend of the Spiritual Light Pavilion. There were only four women present: the Spiritual Essence Saint, the Flowing Water Saint, Qing Zhu, and Xi Zijin.

The Monk and Daoist didn’t dare to try anything with the first three, but they didn’t have as many reservations about Xi Zijin. They crowded around her, making idle small talk.

But Xi Zijin clearly wanted nothing to do with the two of them. With a cold expression, she remained silent, instead busying herself with examining the great hall’s surroundings.

After a thorough search, the group found nothing in the great hall. The only things of note were the many stone statues of Demon Beasts on the walls on either side. Although the group didn’t recognize many of the Demon Beasts, the statues alone didn’t arouse much interest.

Just as everyone returned to the three Light Gates, the sound of heavy footsteps suddenly echoed from the distant entrance of the hall.

Hearing the footsteps, a Supreme Elder from the Spiritual Light Pavilion asked in confusion, "Could there be others who entered the ruins?"

Hearing this, Lin Yun’s brow suddenly furrowed deeply. ’How could I have forgotten something so important? Divine Statues and Golems aren’t just simple stone statues.’

’Since they are things that only exist in the Divine and Demon Realms, they are naturally extraordinary. Divine Statues and Golems are capable of combat. Although they have no minds of their own, during their creation, they are imprinted with the duty to protect something. Once someone trespasses into the area they guard, the Divine Statues and Golems will awaken...’

He had originally thought the Divine Statues and Golems in these ruins were just statues in appearance only, but Lin Yun hadn’t expected that they could actually fight. They must have also been imprinted with something to protect back when they were made.

The heavy footsteps grew closer and closer. Just as everyone turned to look at the entrance of the hall, Lin Yun suddenly shouted, "Watch out...!"

Following Lin Yun’s shout, the two Golems behind the group suddenly moved. The hundred-meter-tall Golems swung their massive fists like lightning toward the Spiritual Light Saint. Fortunately, with Lin Yun’s timely warning, the Spiritual Light Saint narrowly dodged the attack.

The statues’ sudden movement left everyone utterly shocked. It was as if the two Golems had come to life, their enormous eyes glowing with a red light.

"Trespassers in the Forbidden Hall will be killed..." As if pre-programmed, both Golems spoke these words in unison.

The two Golems moved, and the two Divine Statues from the hall’s entrance now stood before the group as well. Faced with four hundred-meter-tall statues, everyone continuously backed away.

However, that wasn’t all. As mentioned before, there were many Demon Beast statues on the walls on either side of the hall. At this moment, these statues also came to life. Dozens of them, led by the four Divine Statues and Golems, completely surrounded the group.

"Everyone, attack together! We’ll handle these four statues; the rest are yours," the Celestial Bamboo Saint said, looking at the four Divine Demonic Golems.

No one objected. Having reached a consensus, the nine Saints—including Qingfeng Saint, Flowing Water Saint, Celestial Light Saint, and Aunt Lan—simultaneously attacked the four Divine Demonic Golems.

Lin Yun’s group, for their part, faced a Demon Beast statue. The statue’s original form was a Flood Dragon. Currently, Lin Yun, Qin Feng, Li Tian, the Black-striped Tiger, and Little Ape—all five of them—were surrounding this statue.

As he fought the Flood Dragon Golem, Lin Yun gradually began to understand. After so many years, the Energy within these statues had already dissipated significantly.

Take this Flood Dragon Golem he was facing now, for example. Its Cultivation should be around the Spirit Realm Minor Achievement. However, in its peak state, its power would have been at the Earth Saint Realm Level at the very least.

At this thought, Lin Yun glanced toward the four Divine Demonic Golems. ’If even these Demon Beast statues were so powerful in their peak state, then these four Divine Demonic Golems must be even more terrifying. At a minimum, they must have surpassed the Celestial Saint Realm.’

With this in mind, Lin Yun looked at the nine Saints besieging the four Divine Demonic Golems. Just as he expected, after only a single exchange, the nine of them were clearly at a disadvantage.

"The Combat Power of these four statues is comparable to Heavenly Saint Realm Saints...!" the Celestial Eagle Saint of Celestial Eagle Valley exclaimed amid the battle.

The nine Saints ganged up on the four statues, but not only did they fail to gain any advantage, they were at an absolute disadvantage.

It was exactly as Lin Yun had thought. These four statues were truly identical to the Divine Statues of the Divine Realm and the Golems of the Demon Realm.

Not only was their appearance the same, but even their manufacturing method and Combat Power were identical. However, because so much time had passed, a great deal of the Energy within the four Divine Demonic Golems had dissipated.

If this were back in their prime, these four Divine Demonic Golems could probably annihilate everyone present with a single punch.

Lin Yun grew more and more shocked by these ruins. If he had only been suspicious at first, he was now certain: these ruins were definitely related to the Divine Realm, the Demon Realm, or perhaps both the Divine and Demon Realms.

He just didn’t know what the connection between these ruins and the Divine and Demon Realms was.

Everyone was locked in a bitter struggle. After all, the statues possessed immense Combat Power and were extremely durable. Forget Celestial Spirit Soldiers; even Treasure Soldiers could only leave the faintest of marks on their bodies when struck.

The statues’ sudden rampage had caught everyone completely off guard. As they fought desperately, everyone was also trying to think of a way to escape.

The situation had taken a drastic turn for the worse. They had only just stepped into the ruins and were already facing a major crisis. If they kept fighting, the statues were strong enough to wipe them all out.

"Damn it, why are these stupid rocks so hard?" Like Lin Yun’s group, the Monk and Daoist had teamed up with Xi Zijin, He Yuntian, and others. The five of them were also jointly fighting a single statue.

But after a fierce battle, the five of them hadn’t been able to leave so much as a scratch on the statue.
