Chapter 2691 - 164: I Need You
Molly Wellington: "..."
At that moment, her lips trembled slightly, almost making her unable to speak.
Molly Wellington never expected Abraham Redington to say such words, nor did she expect him to confess with such an attitude.
If he had said these words two and a half years ago, she would have been ecstatic, eager to throw herself into his embrace immediately.
Unfortunately, it’s all too late...
"Don’t do this anymore. Your body belongs to yourself, and you should take good care of your health."
She didn’t even have the courage to discuss this topic with Abraham Redington. Under this topic called ’love’, she instinctively wanted to avoid it.
Molly Wellington stood up and picked up the bathrobe Abraham Redington had taken off, intending to return it to the bathroom for him.
But just as she touched the bathrobe, a sharp pain hit her wrist.
The next second, the man sitting on the bed grabbed her wrist, pulling her straight into his wide, warm embrace.
Out of balance in her panic, her body had no support and could only let herself ’fall’ solidly.
Abraham Redington’s long and powerful arms wrapped around her.
Held securely, never letting go.
"Abraham, let me go..." Molly Wellington fell face-first into his embrace facing Abraham.
Her fair face was right against his slightly exposed chest beneath his pajamas, as his intensely warm breath enveloped her entirely.
It’s as if Abraham Redington didn’t hear her refusal, as in one swift motion, he flipped over, pressing the woman trying to escape beneath him.
Molly Wellington was pressed tightly against him, their bodies intimately fused together.
She lifted her bright almond-shaped eyes, slightly panicked, meeting his seductive Adam’s apple, and further up, his sharply defined jawline.
Next, was the beautifully high, proud bridge of his nose; above it were a pair of eyes emitting an azure glow.
Abraham Redington’s eyes were narrow and deep, using those almond-shaped eyes glowing cold blue to gaze at her intently.
Such a gaze, focused and serious, even... carrying deep emotion.
Contained within that stare was something, representing something, that Molly Wellington understood clearly.
But she dared not look, even less dare to believe.
She preferred to believe Abraham Redington’s gaze was burning, as if he wanted to devour her.
Rather than believe, he loves her.
"Abraham... you, let go."
Years of experience had long made Molly Wellington unlike the naive girl she once was.
She swiftly regained her composure, cold and detached, warning him with an indifferent tone.
However—
"No." Abraham said, his tone still laced with coldness, yet his actions were gentle, sweet.
He lowered his head, kissing Molly Wellington’s slightly parted, tender lips.
"..." Molly Wellington was furious, not expecting Abraham Redington to regress to old habits.
Promised it would be different, that he wouldn’t force again.
And yet?
After all these years, he was still Abraham Redington, wanting whatever he desired.
Would he just discard her whenever he no longer wanted her?
At that moment, something unexpected happened.
Abraham’s thin lips kissed Molly Wellington’s soft lips, but he didn’t deepen it further.
He didn’t dominate by prying her mouth open, nor did he aggressively invade her mouth.
Abraham only pecked her lips lightly, then decisively withdrew.
The kiss was like a dragonfly touching water lightly, soft, sweet, with a tingle, reminiscent of a first love’s freshness.
Unlike those strong, overbearing possessive actions Molly Wellington remembered.
Molly Wellington: "..."
Suddenly, she felt she couldn’t understand anymore.
The man’s icy blue eyes gazed at her: "Don’t go..."
"Molly, I need you."
