The Lucas family and the Wellington family are close, yet the senior executives who know the inside story of the entire Wellington Group are firmly on Dylan Wellington’s side and do not approve of Molly Wellington’s relationship with Abraham Redington.
It’s not that Abraham is bad.
As a man, his family background, career, and appearance may all be top-notch.
However, as a boyfriend or husband, he is definitely not a good choice.
Their young lady is a rare gem and should not be with the erratic and moody second heir of the Lucas family.
"Young Miss, as long as you break up with Redington Young Master, Master Wellington and Madam will be relieved. But... this time, you probably won’t reconcile again, will you?"
Although Tom Nelson knew he shouldn’t ask now, he was really worried.
If he could confirm that the young lady and Redington Young Master have no possibility of getting back together, then he could safely report the good news to Master Wellington.

Molly Wellington pursed her lips and changed the subject: "By the way... you said Daddy called me, but why couldn’t he reach me? My cell phone signal is normal, but I’ve never received his calls or messages..."

Frowning, Tom Nelson checked and found the phone signal was indeed full.
Perplexed, he took out his own cell phone and sent her a text message and made a call right in front of her.
However, the text wasn’t received, and the call didn’t go through either.
Molly Wellington’s cell phone seemed to have entered a static mode, isolated from the outside world.
"Master Wellington said he once called and Redington Young Master answered. It was then that Master Wellington confirmed you and Redington Young Master were dating and... living together. Later, when Master Wellington tried to reach you again, the calls never went through. Not just Master Wellington, none of us could reach you."
Flipping through her cell phone, Molly Wellington understood perfectly well that Abraham must have done something to her phone.
Recently busy with graduation matters, she hadn’t had time to contact the outside world.
She didn’t expect that in a moment of inattention, she’d be virtually ’detained’ by Abraham.
Molly Wellington smirked, Abraham’s controlling nature was as aggressively frightening as ever.
He, essentially, never changed, only wrapping his dominance in a soft guise that almost made her think he had changed.
Luckily, they’ve already broken up.
Otherwise, such controlling behavior would only make Molly Wellington feel distrusted and disrespected.
"Someone must have used some method to block my phone. I can still communicate normally with classmates and mentors at school, so this block is selective, perhaps with a whitelist. It seems that phone numbers registered locally in H city work fine, only those from outside don’t."
This was Molly Wellington’s guess, but it was quite likely to be true.
Tom Nelson nodded, took Molly Wellington’s cell phone, and prepared to have the R&D Department take a look.
"Oh, Uncle Helmsley... I have someone here, an H University student one year ahead of me named Lincoln Harrison. He’s very capable, with excellent academic and internship performance. Could you see if there’s a promising position available for him at the Wellington Group?"
In the end, Molly Wellington decided to help Lincoln Harrison.
Not for any other reason, but for herself.
She didn’t want to owe anyone, nor did she want to hinder another’s life because of herself.
