Chapter 474 - 367: Sealed (2)
’Will Da Guo get separated from them?’
The thought made Kong Jian even more worried.
Da Guo had only just taken form. He probably hadn’t seen the dangers of this world yet. If that was the Mist just now, they must be within its range. Maybe getting off the train would lead them straight into that strange place.
But Da Guo was all alone. What if he couldn’t find them?
Wen Ying took Kong Jian’s hand. "Let’s get off first. We’ll figure out how to find Little White later."
Seeing Wen Ying about to get off with Kong Jian, the few other conscious passengers instantly shouted, "Hey, are you two getting off? Do you know what’s going on?"
Wen Ying didn’t stop walking toward the exit with Kong Jian. As she stepped off, she said, "I don’t know, but we might have entered the Mist."
They watched as Wen Ying and Kong Jian’s figures vanished before their eyes.
The conscious passengers looked at each other. "The Mist? Could it be...?"
"Oh my god! How did we run into the Mist?"
"Aren’t you only supposed to enter the Mist in special places? Are we all going to die here today?"
"But why weren’t those two scared just now?"
"I think I’ve seen that pretty woman before. I think she’s..."
"I know! She livestreamed from the Mist before! I thought it was fake, like some reality show, so I didn’t pay much attention and only watched for a bit. I can’t believe we actually ran into the Mist today! She’s an expert! We have to follow the expert!"
But by then, Wen Ying was nowhere to be seen.
The exit of the train car was sealed by what looked like a wall of mist.
They couldn’t see what was outside the train.
They would probably only be able to see after stepping out of the mist—or maybe it was stepping *into* the Mist.
But this entire train car... could everyone have entered the Mist?
’What the hell is this place?’
’Are all these people going to die here? This would be a major incident!’
The few of them hesitated. "Do you think if we don’t get off, the train might go back to normal after a while?"
Faced with the fear of the unknown, they didn’t dare to risk it.
After all, one wrong move and their lives would be over. They weren’t Nine-tailed Foxes; they only had one life.
Once it was gone, they’d really be off to meet their ancestors.
The few of them sat back down in their seats.

The moment the Mist appeared, Little White’s hand, which was busy stuffing her face, paused.
Ignoring the staff who tried to stop her, she ran for the exit.
But there was no other way out except to get off the train.
Under everyone’s stunned gazes, Little White stepped directly into the Mist.
’Eating is important, but Sister Wen Ying is the most important,’ she thought, ’and so is my underling.’
The first thing she saw was... a desolate wilderness?
She looked up but couldn’t make out the true color of the sky. It seemed to be shrouded in mist as well.
She was standing in a small clearing, surrounded by lush trees.
There was no one around.
’Sister Wen Ying must have gotten off the train too,’ Little White figured. ’If this is the Mist, is it the same strange incident she experienced before?’
Little White wasn’t scared.
A small path appeared before Little White.
Little White looked back. The train behind her had vanished without a trace.
With no path of retreat behind her and only the unknown ahead, Little White followed the small path forward.
She didn’t forget to observe her surroundings.
But all she could see was this place that looked like a desolate wilderness. The trees were a mix of thick and thin, and their leafy branches were sparse, perhaps due to the season.
She hadn’t taken more than a few steps when she felt a gust of wind from an unknown direction. It was bone-chilling.
The sensation was very uncomfortable.
It felt as if it was swirling around her, trying to bore its way into her body.
Little White reached out and tugged on a long branch from a nearby tree, but it didn’t break.
She immediately grabbed the branch with both hands and swung forward.
Just like a monkey.
Sure enough, the bone-chilling wind disappeared.
When Little White landed back on the ground, the cold wind reappeared.
’Annoying.’
So Little White just started acting like a monkey, grabbing branches and vines to swing her way through the forest.
"Big sister, can I play with you?"
Hearing the voice, Little White swung up and landed on a tree branch. Looking down, she saw it was none other than that little thing from the train, staring up at her.
"Where did you come from?"
Little White frowned. When she got off the train, there had been no one around, let alone this little thing.
"Big sister, can’t I play with you?"
"Shut up!"
’First time, second time, and still not answering my question, huh?’
"Sure you can. You’re just a little tagalong anyway, so just follow me."
Little White started swinging through the trees again. The child jumped up, trying to grab a branch and copy her, but missed and ended up falling flat on his face.
