Chapter 400 - 339: Gourmet Food Attack?
Doctor Wen’s good temper had worn thin. She was ready to kick the door down.
But just then, the livestream drone suddenly started beeping.
"You mean I can’t kick the door?"

The different responses came from different children at the same time, creating a jumble of noise.

Whether they were being sincere or just looking for a way to save face, many of the children started to chime in.
"The burger has two barbecue patties and grilled pineapple. Its flavor is nothing like the ones you’ve had before."
Some of the children were already drooling just from listening.

Wen Ying redeemed a Double-Smoked Barbecue Beef Fortress, a durian cheese pie, and a calamansi lemonade in a stemmed glass.
This burger was three times the size of the ones they had eaten before.
The moment the burger appeared, the aroma of barbecued meat began to waft out, filling the nostrils of everyone present.
The beef was tender, not charred, and grilled in a savory sauce. Paired with the fruity scent of the pineapple, it created a uniquely fresh fragrance.
The children’s eyes lit up the instant they saw it.
This was the most delicious-looking food they had ever seen!
They had no doubt about it, even before taking a bite.
The fluffy bun was dotted with sesame seeds. Between the patties, the lettuce was a vibrant green, and a layer of cheese seemed to elevate the texture to a whole new level.
Below the top bun was a patty, a layer of lettuce and cheese, a slice of pineapple, another layer of lettuce and cheese, and a second patty.
The burger was as big as three of the children’s fists combined.
"Me, me, me! I’ll tell you! Two old men live in this ward. They almost never come out. They’re grumpy and stay locked in their room all day. The last people who knocked—"
"That’s enough, shut up! You can’t just say everything yourself! I’ll go next. I want that burger combo too!"
Another child said, staring eagerly at Wen Ying.
"Alright. For you."
"Most of the humans who tried to get a good review from the patients in this room ended up dead! If I remember correctly, only one ever escaped!"
Having said his piece, the child held out his hand. "My burger!"
Wen Ying took out another combo and gave one to each of them.
Holding the burgers, the two of them didn’t care about anything else and started devouring them right on the spot.
"Me, me! I have something to say, too! My info isn’t as basic as theirs! I can tell you how to get those two old men to open the door! Otherwise, you’ll never get your good review!"
"I have a burger combo ready for you, too," Wen Ying said with a smile.
"Those two old men are mortal enemies! Don’t assume they get along just because they share a ward. I saw them fighting one time! They’re both ancient, but they were still pulling each other’s hair! So, I think if you want to get them to open the door, you have to exploit their conflict!"
Having said this, the child held out his hand for the burger.
After receiving the burger, the child quickly ran over to Brother Dog. "Brother Dog, you can have this burger."
Brother Dog shot him a disdainful glare. "Eat what you earned. You think I can’t get one for myself? Like I need your charity?"
