Dream Life

Episode 62: Homecoming

Tria calendar 313, July 9.

The sunny light that falls in the morning dazzles "Mabu," but there is still a refreshing air in the morning and I haven't felt so hot.

Twenty-five km from the city of Kilnarek here to the village of Rasmore, home town.

Ars Street - the main north-south street connecting Periclittle to Ars, king capital of the Kingdom of Kaum - descends about twenty km south, from where you enter the side road to the village of Rasmore.

When you leave Kilnarek, the streets quickly go into the woods.

Summer morning sunshine plunges into the woods, watering down the leaves of the trees and a green leaking day hits my face.

Do I feel strangely nostalgic when I come around here because the vegetation is close to the village? With that in mind, I manipulate the horse.

Liddy also lets the horse walk with his nose alternating, with no shards of tension.

Does Sharon feel the same way about me, looking around sometimes, like he's putting his thoughts on his hometown?

In the meantime, Beatrice is the only one on guard around us with a nervous face, and she's been biting us with no nervousness.

"Though the dangerous Kalshu has passed, I'm still in the woods. Why don't you be a little more careful!

I say, "Oh, yeah," but Liddy smiles mean and makes fun of Beatrice.

"You don't have to apologize. Govi - nicknamed Grandfather Govan Lockhart - is hunting all the demons around here, so it only comes out like a lost wild dog or a remote forest wolf. Even Beatrice doesn't feel dangerous, does she? Isn't it just weird to see the Govids now?

Beatrice opened her mouth a little bit to see if she had been poked at the drawing, but she didn't argue in the end.

Take a break along the way and plug into the branch to the village of Rasmore after 1 p.m.

I realized I was there.

A year ago, the path to the village, which was so difficult to understand, was less grassy and easier to understand.

(You don't have much grass. No, the carriage is thick. I guess carriages come and go frequently...... what does it have to do with Scotch sales?

Previously, in the summer, the grass grew so much that the road was invisible, but now the two pieces became brown lines and continued east.

Once on the road to the village, nostalgia comes in all at once.

(I remember the first time I went into the woods in Zach Cartel (everyone). You were scared of wild dogs then...)

Sharon pulled a horse over when I was thinking about it.

"That was around here. The first time I saw a wild dog. It was three years ago... I miss it."

Sharon, who doesn't usually talk much, rarely talks to me. She also seems to be up a bit by returning to her birthplace.

(With that said, Sharon's new to the journey, isn't he? I left my parents when I was only ten years old. That returns home for the first time. I can't help but climb up...)

"Right. But if we go back to the village, we'll see more nostalgic faces. Let's not get distracted until the end."

Smile and snort at my words.

"But it's a really long idle 'idyllic' forest. So deep in the woods, there's no sign of demons so far..."

That's what Beatrice was whining about, not telling anyone.

In about an hour I saw a nostalgic hill from among the trees.

Through the woods you can clearly see a series of nostalgic hills. Dark green of pasture and golden of summer wheat, plus green and brown of fields of immo.

The triangular roof houses are in between, farming and housework while the villagers have fun talking.

(You're back... I wonder what this nostalgia is... is this what my hometown of Sioux is all about...)

I could see the Finn River flowing through the west side of the village.

Crossing the bridge hanging there deepens my emotions.

When I was kidding around, the villagers seemed to realize it was me, too, and they were rushing to bow their heads or wave at me.

I also respond by waving at it, and the hall to the north goes towards the hill.

In the meadow, where the hall stretches south of the hill, many children were playing, waving loudly as the child who noticed us said "Master Zach!".

As the hall enters the hill, it climbs straight up the hill.

Many men work in Scotch's vault, which you can see on your right. Apparently, they're working on an addition.

Both Liddy and Sharon grin at the full face and look around. Anyway, Sharon seems like this is the second home for Liddy, and I'm somewhat happy about that.

The only person, a tense Beatrice, had zero natural grin at the pastoral sights of the village.

And he called out to me, "That's a good village indeed," he said.

"I could feel what Lydiane was saying yesterday. You do sound popular...... adults and kids welcome you with such a happy face. I know very well that it's also from the heart..."

When I arrived in front of the mansion, I was already picked up.

Someone ran and told me, beginning with my grandfather, that my whole family, Walt and his squire, and even more vigilantes who were in training, would also wave behind the gate to welcome us.

Among other things, there was Mel at the front.

He is also taller than he was a year ago and a little more feminine again.

When I got off the horse and tried to say hello to my grandfathers, Mel said, "Dear Zach!," he jumped into my chest feeling like he was going to bump into me.

I say, "I'm home, Mel," and I take her.

In a way that held her shoulders, I greeted my grandfathers and fathers back home.

"Dear uncle, father, mother, and everyone. I'm home now."

With that said, slowly bow your head.

My father approached me and said, "Safe and above all. Get in the mansion first," he says, putting his hand on my shoulder.

I snort at it, but I say, "Father, this is Beatrice Labal," and I introduce Beatrice.

"Guards of my sons, thank you. I am Masaias Lockhart, Lord of Lockhart."

With that said, I approached Beatrice and offered her my right hand.

"My Lockhart family welcomes you wholeheartedly. I want you to think it's our home and forgive me."

Beatrice black-and-white her eyes at the action, taking her father's right hand and saying, "Beatrice Labal. Oh, it's a pleasure to meet you..." he said, turning bright red.

Apparently, I was thinking of something to say, but I panicked a little about my father's overly frank response.

"Father, Beatrice is my guardian. Treat me as a guest, just like Liddy."

My father said to me, "Oh, of course he's going to," and then he turned to his surroundings and said, "Lord Beatrice is a guardian who can also be described as Zach's parent. I mean, for Zach, it's important to keep his life alive. Everybody, just think of it that way," he told her.

The squire nods at it too, smiling and looking at Beatrice.

Only one person, Mel, watching beside me, looked a little stared.

My father figured out exactly what I meant, and he worked it out.

My father nodded small at me, but realized that I was holding Mel's shoulder and blew it out small.

"I know you missed Mel, but I haven't even said hello to your father - my grandfather Govan - or Tanya - my mother. We have plenty of time. Finish your greeting first. Mel, you too."

Me and Mel rushed away, and she turned bright red and hid behind her own mother, Polly.

Everyone laughs at the way it is.

I thought it was a little bad, but first, I greeted my grandfather, my mother, and my brothers.

My grandfather says nothing, slaps me on the shoulder with a bang, and my mother hugs me tight. The twins Theo - Theophilus - and Serra - Serafina - said, "Dear Brother Zach!," he said, clinging to me.

My youngest sister, Sophia, three, didn't know me very well and hid behind my mother.

I looked at it with a smile and spoke to my squire.

Walt Vassel, a squire head, and his wife Molly. Nicholas Garland, home affairs officer, and his wife Kate. Mel's father, Hector Marron, and his wife Polly. Sharon's father, Guy Jakes and his wife Claire......

Enos Vassel, followed by Will Keegan, stood in front of Byron Seedorf, the tough-faced big man at the end.

My father introduces me to Byron.

"It's Byron Seedorf, this guy's new in. He's a rigid man, as you can see."

I heard it and I said, "Byron, it's been a long time. Apparently, you were recognized by your father and uncle on your own," he offered his right hand.

My father looks at that and wonders, "Did you know him?"

I nodded to my father, "I'll tell you what happened later. In the meantime, let's go inside," he said, entering my nostalgic home.

Just being away for a year didn't change anything at home.

As you pass through the qualitative corridor, there is a large dining room where your family gathers and there is a kitchen that always smells good.

I leave my luggage with Walt and the others and go to my room to remove my gear.

It's cleaned clean so I can come back whenever I want, open a wooden window and look at the nostalgic landscape.

(You're back. Nothing changes the view from here... not yet, nor is it a sentimental year. Maybe mentally, but I have a future now...)

I forced myself out of sight from the outside landscape and out of gear.

Even if I remove the gear, it is black monochrome for some reason, but I have decided not to care.

The dining room was full of family and squire.

Both Liddy and Beatrice removed their gear and came to the dining room.

The dining room also has a large space that can be used as a hall, but when the squire and his family enter, it feels slightly cramped.

(You've had a lot more people since I got my memories back. Two squire, Will and Byron increased. And the number of children has increased considerably. Three of us, two at Enos, one at Hector and Guy. Lost are my older brother and Sim - Mel's older brother, Sim Marron - or so)

Sim was traveling to Raswell Borderline Uncle Territory as a squire for his brother Rod. My brother had been promoted to a Horseman three months ago, so that he could have a dedicated squire.

My brother is fifteen.

At that age, it was the army of the Northern Governor's Office in the Caerm Empire - Raswell Border Uncle is in the status of Northern Governor - that was promoted to the Knight, but it's unusual.

The letter says he's dealing with demons in a fort near the border between the Raswell Border Bo Territory and Fortis, the mercenary country east of it.

The swordsman level is also over forty and is probably regarded as one of the best users in the force.

I made sure they were all here, and I got up and started saying hello home.

"... you all look fine and above all. Me and Sharon both made it to the Academy to be good leaders, and I was the chief and Sharon was able to finish my first year in the second seat… I also met my new friend, Beatrice, and every day is fulfilling. But again, this is my house! There's nowhere better than here. Let me say it again. I'm home now!

I bow my head deep.

When my grandfather says, "Um, he's home a lot," and he smiles, I hear you coming home from around.

"I couldn't buy much bigger stuff, but I have souvenirs. Well, first of all, dear uncle..."

I bought glasses for my grandfather.

I bought it because I was looking at the paperwork with an old eye before I went to Doctus. If it's true, there are only bespoke ones, but there seem to be a lot of people like me who make presents for grandfathers and grandmothers, and they were selling the type of lenses they could change.

My grandfather lifts it happily and hangs it in front of everyone. Somehow, I felt quite uncomfortable because it was different from my usual face.

I gave my father the writing equipment for the office, my mother the hair decorations, Theo and Serra the picture books, and Sophia the stuffed animals made of skin.

The picture book made it about brave men they seem to like, but this was surprisingly expensive. Hard copy printing is not yet popular, and a picture book means that the painter has to paint one page at a time. In a way, it became like a collection of paintings, higher than a normal book.

And it's Sophia's stuffed animal, my youngest sister, but this was made for Rufus and Rachel, the armorers.

I didn't mean for them to make it at first, I just went to talk to them to see if there was anywhere they could make these things, but the two people I heard talked to were curious in addition to their thoughts, and they used a clean skin to make me one adorable cat stuffed animal.

In the end, they get on with it and make a few stuffed animals like dogs and bears. As a result, the delivery of the key protective equipment was likely to be delayed.

Not even an apology, but I have bought all of it and brought it for Theo, Selah, and the young children of my servants.

In fact, I got a picture book and I was in a good mood, Theo and Sella, but I seemed concerned about the stuffed animal Sophia gave me, and I looked at it with envy.

When I give the stuffed animal to both of them, I say, "Brother Zach. Thank you!" I held him brilliantly hammered. Of course, Sophia seemed to like the stuffed animal so much that she stopped being afraid of me.

I will give souvenirs to my servants as well, but I feel that there are a lot of practical products.

I mocked myself in my heart that it was spice for Walt's wife Molly, and teaching material for Nicholas, and not a souvenir while giving it to him.

When I finished handing over the souvenir, I went into a chat and Hall was surrounded by a lively voice.

I arrived at the mansion after 2pm, handing over souvenirs and talking about piling them up, so if I noticed, the sun was starting to tilt.

After we said no to our grandfathers, we headed to the public bathroom to make the journey fatigue flow.

As well as bath lover Liddy, I heard Beatrice has a big bath and very much expect it.

"I thought it would be awesome in our bath, but do we have a bath to put more than ten people in here? Looking forward to it."

With Beatrice's tiger tail rocking more than usual, he really seems to be looking forward to it.

When we get to the public baths, the villagers of today's allotment are bathing and greeting us with their mouths. I'm sorry to interrupt, but I haven't relaxed in a big tub in a long time.

Relax, soaking in the water, I heard a yellow voice from the woman's water next door.

Apparently, the women of the village raised their voices when they saw Beatrice, the beast man.

I feel like we're talking rather reluctantly because of the Liddy or Sharon we found out about. Some of the voices you hear are, "I'm so proud of you, those breasts," or, "You have a beautiful tail. I've never seen it before, but it really grows out of my butt".

Meanwhile, Man Yu instantly stops chatting in an attempt to hear the voice of the woman Yu next door. Occasionally, there was a sound of droplets falling on the hot surface called Pochan, but it was just as quiet as it hit the water.

(I do care. What kind of situation is this? Still, aren't you completely familiar with it?

This allotment of time seems to be West Hill residents, but it seems to be quite unraveling Beatrice and the others I've met for the first time.

One “brave” young man was about to climb the collision "Tsukuto" to peek into the female water.

"You should stop. There's Lydiane over there. It's magic that blows you away and you get hurt."

When I said that, the bat would come back looking bad, but he was whining, "Is that Master Lydiane?"

Listening to Liddy, he stared clairvoyantly across the clash. If it weren't for me, I might have gone for a peek ready to be magically blown away.

Having enjoyed enough water, I end up wearing cold water and going up from the bath.

Outside, in the middle of the meadow, the wind blows through.

Slightly hot wind, but feels good for a lit body.

Skylarks fly in the sky and white clouds flow.

I stretched out, exhaling, waiting for Liddy and the others to come out.

(That's peaceful. I've been in the woods all these days hunting demons and getting lectures from professors, so sometimes these peaceful times are a good thing...)

Feeling like a holiday for a long time, I sat and waited on a bench placed on the meadow - set up for a rendezvous. About twenty minutes later, three people came out: Liddy, Beatrice and Sharon.

I said, "That sounded like a lot of fun." Liddy answered with pleasure.

"These people here aren't the first to see the Beast Man up close. Adults and children were intrigued by Beatrice. Of course, that wasn't all."

With that said, I peek into Beatrice's chest in a shirt with my protective gear off.

Beatrice had heard that with a slightly more upbeat face about taking a bath, but she didn't say anything just with a subtle look on her face.

When I asked for my thoughts on taking a big bath, I had a full smile,

"Oh, that's great. I can see you wanted to make a bath at home. [M] But really this village is heaven."

We went straight back to the Mansion in conversation without any other love.
