Dream Life

Episode 18: Breaking through the Castle Gate

Me - Dan Jakes - and Lord Rod - Rodrick Lockhart, who escaped the castle, ran right out for Knights headquarters.

Knights headquarters is just outside the castle and in about a minute you will arrive in front of the main door of Knights headquarters. Did you feel the castle anomaly there, many of the knights were equipped and aligned.

One of them, a magnificent knight in a fine armor, notices Master Rod.

"Isn't it Rodrick! What's going on?"

The knight is the head of the First Knights, His Excellency Baron Manfred Braceford, and he says he will hit Lord Rod's boss.

Master Rod kneels one knee and bows his head. I panic, too, and I'll imitate it.

"I would like to say to His Excellency the Commander of the Regiment: Looks like the Fourth Battalion has staged a rebellion. His Excellency the Governor wants us to crack it down immediately."

Master Rod was slightly hesitant to use the word "conspiracy".

"I can't believe it..." squealed Captain Braceford, peeling his eyes. But he immediately shook his head.

"I don't know if I'm lying to you... yes, I get it. I will save His Excellency the Governor more than this! All hands, march towards the castle gate!

The Knights Commander led the knights and squires, who had gathered continuously, to the castle gate. I will follow Lord Rod like a squire. [M]

Next to me was Sim Marron, Mel's brother, who found Master Rod. Mr. Sims is an obedient knight to Lord Rod, but he wasn't in the castle today because he was acting differently from Lord Rod in his Knights job.

Mr. Sims couldn't seem to hide his confusion and asked me the situation in a whisper.

"What's going on? Heard the Fourth Battalion was a conspiracy?

"I'm not sure either. But there's no doubt that the Knights' soldiers have attacked us."

Sims makes a face that he can't believe in that explanation.

In the meantime, Master Rod had briefed the Knights Commander on the situation.

"... all your families are safe, starting with His Excellency the Governor. However... the castle gate was defended by a squadron. I was wondering if it would be difficult to break through without a siege weapon..."

"I know. But the broken castle hammer is not here. I ordered the ladder Ladder to be arranged earlier, but it will take thirty minutes to arrive. I can't do anything with the magic of the magicians, I just have to try."

The castle gates of Welburn Castle are beautiful gates, matched by a spicy nestled castle and painted white, but in fact made of thick oak "oak" material reinforced with iron plates. I don't know how powerful the magicians in the Northern Governor's office are, but I don't think we can break that gate without as much power as Master Zach.

Master Rod, and the captain seem to be thinking the same thing, but I won't say anything because there are no further measures.

I arrived immediately in front of the castle gate.

On the gate was a line of soldiers from the Fourth Battalion with bows, and as soon as we entered the range, they fired arrows.

Did the captain not want to believe somewhere in his heart, "Glenfel, why! Damn!" he said to himself to throw it away. And ordered the men in the magician's robe to attack.

"Successfully defeat the rebels! Sorcerers, attack!

The number of magicians is about fifteen. Some people use flaming spears (flame lance) in the strong rain because the magic they use is not right.

Still, he succeeded in sweeping away the archers who were on the walls in about five minutes. When the attack from the castle gate is gone, it begins to unleash magic on the white-painted castle gate. However, the "Every Thing" was played into a heavy castle gate, only to help strip the paint.

I continued the attack for a few minutes, but saw no effect at all when the Knights captain said, "Stop the attack!" I command you.

"Can't you still do it? We're going to have to recruit a death squad to get over the walls and open the gates from the inside out..."

I heard the captain squeal like that.

At that time, I felt signs on my neck and turned around. There was a group that I found out about.

Those were Dwarf blacksmiths.

They heard the hustle and bustle and came, bearing a large blacksmith hammer on their shoulders. And you noticed me, Mr. Deigenhardt, the branch manager, approached me.

"Zach's... sure, that was Dan. What the hell is all this noise?

I was surprised that you remembered my name, but I immediately explained the situation.

Ms. Daegenhardt hears that Master Zach and the others are in danger in the rebellion, turning her face bright red and outraged.

"He said the Lockhart guys suck! What are you doing with your hands!

I was thinking about explaining myself.

"... Your Eminence seems to be having trouble breaking through that gate, and I was wondering if the Death Squad would break through the walls and open the gate from the inside..."

Mr. Deigenhardt, who listened to me, walks with indignation to the Knights Commander. I thought I was awkward and said, "Wait!" but Mr. Deigenhardt does not listen to my voice and walks all the way.

Standing in front of the Knights, he declares to stare, "You don't mind breaking the castle gate".

The captain hesitated slightly at the force, but immediately said, "Of course I don't mind... what are you going to do?" I asked back.

When Mr. Dagenhardt smiled invincibly, he said, "Let me take care of it," and turned to the blacksmiths, "The Lockhart guys are waiting for help! shouted."

At that moment, something like a struggle rose from the bodies of the Dwarves. It doesn't seem like a struggle to me, but I thought so because the rain that fell seemed to change for a moment. Later on, Mr. Sims said he saw the same thing.

Mr. Deigenhardt's "We're gonna break the castle gate! to the word," the blacksmiths shook up their hammers and said, "Ooh! Respond."

The captain had no words for its power, and in the same way the knights could only watch.

Mr. Deigenhardt didn't give a shit about us, and he said, "Holger! Knut! Gustav! …" and call and align about twenty names. The men called were slightly older relatives.

Mr. Dagenhardt, replacing the hammer "Hammer" on his shoulder with his right hand, said, "Let's go!," he proclaimed, taking his parents and beginning to walk towards the castle gate.

The knights raise their voices to say, "Are you willing to break the castle gate with that hammer" or "That won't be possible".

It does seem impossible to destroy a portal made of nearly twenty cm thick oak and nearly one cm thick iron reinforcement, albeit a large hammer for blacksmiths, Hammer, with just a hammer.

While doing so, enemy soldiers started shooting arrows from above the castle gate again. Looks like a few archers survived.

The Knights chief said, "Don't let the enemy attack you! Ordered," The sorcerers resumed their attack over the castle gate. It quickly eliminated the survival of the enemy and stopped its magical attacks. There was quiet back around.

In the meantime, the Dwarves didn't seem to care at all about the attack from above or anything else, and at some point they reached in front of the castle gate.

And Mr. Deigenhardt's "Stand up!" and shake the hammer up simultaneously. I felt like I heard "Zah!"

"Let's go! Aw, man!..."

The hammer is swinging down simultaneously with that signal.

The sound of "Don!" echoes around. The sound of "Don!" was neatly aligned as if it had been struck in one, not twenty, into the blacksmiths' utterly undisturbed punch.

At first it started about two seconds apart.

When typed in a few times, Mr. Deigenhardt's signal gradually becomes faster and eventually more accurately typed in at one-second intervals.

There's a huge heartbeat-like don around, a heavy, low sound called don.

I still didn't think it was possible for me to break that door. Because the Dwarves looked too small against a giant castle gate about ten meters wide and five meters high. However, the sound of the huge percussion they played was loud enough to sound all over town.

The Knights captain is blinded by the sight, but he didn't seem to think the Dwarves would succeed, and was beginning to recruit a death squad.

Master Rod and I would naturally volunteer.

The placement of the death squad and so on will be decided between the arrival of the rope. In the meantime, sound had always been heard from the castle gate in a constant rhythm, which had already become part of this atmosphere.

With enough rope with hook claws, we approached with caution of the attack from the wall. At that time, I realized that a change had begun to occur in the sound of knocking on the castle gate.

At first it was a heavy, low sound called Don, but only at a time did it change the way it sounded, and it was starting to mix sounds like a crack bell called Bang. However, the interval at which it was punched was exactly the same one-second interval, which delayed me from noticing the difference.

"Master Rod! The sound of the castle gate is changing. Maybe..."

I think Lord Rod noticed a change in sound in my voice. And I tried to report that to the head of the regiment.

By then, he had begun to lead the regiment, and the knights were also aware of the changes in sound. And I also notice that the doors of the castle gate are starting to shake slightly, and the blurring widens.

I don't know who said it, "My lord! The castle gate is about to open! The Dwarves did it!" and spoke for our feelings.

At first everyone thought it was impossible. But it looks like the Dwarf blacksmiths made sense. It looks like the giant hinge (hinge) part of the castle gate is starting to loosen because of a certain rhythm.

Still, the Dwarves continue to punch in in a completely unchanged rhythm. By that time it was obvious that the doors were blinking and it could be seen that the tightly closed doors were beginning to loosen.

The Knights Commander never missed the opportunity.

"When the door falls, we're going in all at once! Draw a sword!"

The knights who were about to climb the walls also threw down the ropes and pulled out their swords.

I pulled out my long sword, too, and, Master Rod, I waited for the opportunity to break in behind Mr. Sims.

The opportunity came at once.

It was a castle gate that continued to resist, but finally succumbed to the Dwarves.

The hinge on the right was completely destroyed in the last swing. The two gates remain connected by "Kankuki" and fall slowly with their own weight. Leaning diagonally, the hinge on the left couldn't stand its weight either, and gradually collapsed as it accelerated.

In the rain that falls, the sound of Dawn echoes around.

The Knights Commander said, "Assault!" Issuing orders similar to the roar, he runs out in the lead himself. The knights of the subordinates, and we also said to that cry, "Ooh!" He was responding with his sword up. We broke into the castle gate with our commander in the lead.

At the end of the castle gate were dozens of soldiers waiting in a semi-sixed fashion. They lay down their shields and waited for their swords to come this way.

Soon the end of the battle opens with the knights who entered.

The enemy shows little colour of agitation even in front of the elite below the temperamental Knights Commander. Normally, if this many people came in, it shouldn't be strange to show upset similar to awe, even if it doesn't go as far as fear.

But without any hesitation, the Chiefs of the Knights attacked their former colleagues. As honorable Knights First, they seem to think only of this stigma as Snow "That".

The Knights who broke in. "There's a traitor!," "Save Your Excellency!" The voice echoes. There is a slight fear in the expression of the rebels, who were faceless. The rebels are overwhelmed by the temper of the Knights and the Knights without the art of becoming them. Still, the narrow castle gate cannot be broken inside.

Moving forward one by one, we enter the castle gate as well. Along the way, I saluted the sweaty dwarves by the castle gate.

Mr. Deigenhardt seemed to notice me, "I asked for the rest! Dan!" he smiled. And he said, "When you calm down, it's a banquet! Tell Zach!," he shouted in a dra voice, and the Dwarves around him similarly said, "I'll give you a drink of my secret ale!," he laughs.

I responded by raising one hand, smiling bitterly at the words.

The Chivalry Chiefs pushed their enemies, and finally it was our turn.

I was behind Master Rod and Mr. Sims. By then, Lord Rod's platoon was joining us, and I was entrusted with the lead.

A knightly fine armored enemy soldier appears before Master Rod.

The enemy knight doesn't even raise his voice, he just pushes his shield forward and protrudes his long sword from the side of his shield. Master Rod somehow avoided the knight's attack by sliding half a step aside and jumped into the enemy knight's pocket with tremendous speed.

At the next moment, the shield that should have been sticking out falls to the ground like a bottomless. Master Rod had returned to his original position at some point and immediately slashed and tied with the next enemy soldier.

I didn't know what happened for a moment. It was just because the shield was out of the way and I couldn't see it, but soon I found out that Master Rod jumped into the enemy's nose in a low position and came back with both arms slashed off of the enemy.

Master Rod's swordsmanship looks just like his predecessor, Master Govan Lockhart. A powerful slaughter that bets on a sharp step and a blow. Then, immediately return to the starting position, leading to the next attack.

It's nothing like a sword flirting with your opponent with an emphasis on Master Zach's speed. Of course, it's not like which one is better.

Mr. Sims, who was in front of me, slashes down his enemies just like Master Rod did.

Hard to notice hiding behind Master Rod's shadow, but Mr. Sims seems to be lifting his arms as well. I heard on the way to Wellburn from the city of Low Cliff that the swordsman level is forty, and he has raised his arms greatly over the past few years.

But Mel, Sim's sister, was more level, and Sim, who found out about it, was concave, "Whatever Master Zach was, even to Mel..."

I don't think I need to be so concerned. If you're 19 and level 40 is normal, it's amazing. Besides, Mr. Sims has a high level of equestrianism and is useful not only in riding battles, but also in preaching and so forth. Well, I can understand you regret losing all three to your younger sister.

By the way, I haven't been able to afford to think about that in a long time either.

Until the Knight Commander succeeded in breaking through, he was slaughtered and tied to several enemy soldiers. In my case, I'm never good at this kind of avant-garde fighting, but I can't say that. I followed Lord Rod desperately as he waited for his help.

About enough after we joined the fight, the elites below the Knight Commander broke through the siege net.

This determined the course of the battle.

Until then, the front that had been in equilibrium collapsed at once.

Due to being manipulated, the enemy is unable to respond ad hoc and is defeated one after the other by the Knights' attacks. The rebel side, which was further dispersed, was destroyed one after the other by the First Knights, who broke through the castle gate and gained momentum.

Captain Braceford, who disabled his outdoor enemies, said, "To His Excellency the Governor!" and commanded him to go into the castle.

We follow suit.

I was to use the south staircase, but when I went upstairs, I encountered a different sight. It was like soldiers blowing fallen bubbles on their backs and soldiers crawling on all fours.

The Knights Commander showed no interest in the soldiers who had lost their fighting power and immediately tried to go up to the third floor.

At that time, I felt an unpleasant feeling or something invisible. Before I said that, Master Rod was screaming first.

"Please wait! It's dangerous up ahead!

The Knights captain stops at that voice.

At that time, neither I nor Master Rod knew exactly what was at stake. However, I was certain that Master Zach had done something magically.

The Knights still said, "I don't know what's going on up ahead! I'm not stuck!" and try to get to the stairs.

Master Rod desperately said, "My brother must have used magic. Probably some powerful magic," he began persuading. I was desperate to figure out what Zach was up to.

(What would Master Zach do? We cannot destroy all our enemies because of the large number. Then I should think about buying some time... I might have magically used poison fog...)

Maybe I shouldn't have spoken up, not even a knight. [M] But I have to tell you, I broke into the two of you.

"I may have used poison fog. I think you should check just in case!

The Knights Commander seems to have remembered Master Zach,

"Poison fog... oh Lord Zacharias was a high magician. All units, stop! Wait a minute for us to enter the third floor!

And he turned to Master Rod and said, "See what Lord Zacharias has done. It's urgent," he ordered.

We were flying down the stairs and headed for the garden. In the garden, he was surrounded by knights his father had entered, abandoning his weapon and raising his hands.

Lady Rod ran and said, "That person is a servant of the Lockhart family! Guy! Thanks for the hard work! scream."

Did the knights also convince Master Rod of his words, and he immediately unloaded his sword.

When we arrived under the window, Master Rod said, "It's Rodrick! Enemy almost eliminated! scream." It was dark and I didn't see it very well, but it seemed like Masaias Lockhart and Zach, the hall guests, were at the window and immediately said, "Thank you, Rod!" The voice of the hall and "Good luck to Dan!" I heard Zach's bright, but slightly tired voice.

We made it.

Master Rod grabbed my right hand and said, "You did well."

I'm going to loosen my mind to see if His Excellency the Governors are safe, but I recall their original purpose. When I checked with Master Zach about what I had done in the hallway, he explained that it wasn't poison but it polluted the air. And you asked me to open as many windows as I could and instruct them to all go outside the castle.

Lady Rod and I run to the Knights Commander again and tell him that.

The Knights Commander ordered the soldiers who were below the second floor and the servants who were hiding in the room, including the rebels who had been captured, to be sent outside the castle.

The captain turned to Master Rod,

"He said he polluted the air without poison... I don't know, Rodrick, do you understand?

Master Rod shook his head sideways and said, "I don't know either. Dan, how about you?" He asked me. I heard it once, so I said, "I don't know exactly."

"I've heard of it before from Dear Zach, No, Dear Zacharias. They say that there are ingredients in the air that people need to live with, and losing it makes people unable to live...... I heard that's why they feel bad when they use fire in a small space. Perhaps you used that again this time. I don't know how."

It should have been explained that way before when Sharon tried to use fire attribute magic in the cave.

"That's what you said about one genius a thousand years. I have no idea... okay. Sir Zacharias will not be able to enter the third floor until he says yes."

Then the wind gushed out of the castle. A few minutes after the wind subsided, Master Zach came out so that Mr. Beatrice could hold him.

"It's okay now. Everyone in your family is safe, starting with His Excellency the Governor..."

Looks pretty tired and doesn't have the same smile as usual. My sisters Sharon and Lydia, who followed me from behind, look equally tired. Looks like it's out of magic and depleted. Mel seems to have been safe, too, standing to escort Mr. Lydia and Sharon. And then he looked at me and just smiled a little bit.

As soon as the Knights captain praised Master Zach, he went inside the castle. The rest of us ran up to Master Zach.
