Dream Life

Lesson 26: Cleaning Up After

Tria calendar July 17, 2017

Yesterday's grand banquet opened around 8 p.m., and all the Dwarves went home satisfied. I haven't been involved in the second meeting, so I haven't asked him if he went home as an adult.

The Raswell Border House seemed to have a pretty good relationship with the Blacksmith Guild at this banquet, and the conversation between the Dean of the Dangenhardt Branch and the Hubert Raswell Border Uncle was very enjoyable, even by the side.

The most exciting part of the conversation between the two was the topic of distillery construction, and Borderline Uncle had offered support for the construction of the distillery to Deigenhardt. Specifically, we seem to have talked about supporting infrastructure relationships such as good offices for construction land and the development of transport routes, as well as facilitating arrangements for fuel for brewing liquor and distiller cauldrons, which are raw materials.

Borderline uncle spoke fervently of his desire to make distilled liquor a specialty around Wellburn, and Dägenhardt strongly agreed with it. Building on that momentum, Borderline Uncle and Dagenhardt have asked the Lockhart family for approval of the specialization of distilled liquor and assistance in the transfer of distilled liquor technology.

My father, my brother and, of course, I had no objection to making distilled liquor in Wellburn, and promised to facilitate it with artisan acceptance and so on about technical assistance. This is the same as what was already heard in the Blacksmith Guild.

I try to be convenient, but there are parts that I can't give away.

It does not give way to the duration of the artisan's training of three years and not to making him independent until Scott, the distillation manager, acknowledges it.

"Naturally," Dagenhardt nodded, calling Alliance official Jonathan Water on the spot.

"This is Johnny. I'm not a liquor maker, but I'm going to head the Wellburn distillery..."

Jonathan Water is a young employee in his mid-twenties. Young but thoughtful, driving well at this banquet, much helped. And most importantly, we work by the standards of what needs to be done for the Dwarves. I mean, I have a deep understanding of the work I've been given.

You'd take it for granted, but in fact, what matters in doing your job is thinking about what your original purpose is and what you need to do about it. It is also important to steadily clean up the work in front of you, but if you work from a long-term perspective, you cannot do a good job if you lose sight of your purpose. In that regard, this Johnny is relieved that he understands what the Dwarves are looking for and its essence.

He would never allow a halfway compromise. Even if my boss, Deigenhardt, urges me to do so, it should be a priority to train artisans to protect the flavour. Of course, I can't imagine that Dägenhardt would make such a reminder.

This time he is to go to the village of Rasmore to learn about managing distillation facilities and purchasing raw materials. When we get back to the village, we're going to accompany you.

Good hand-working, they've already decided on a brewery (...) to accompany him to the village. The craftsmen that Dagenhardt himself has interviewed and chosen, he admits, are motivated young people. The management of the craftsmen had also become an important task for Johnny.

All things have happened, but everyone involved in the Lockhart family is smiling because the banquet has been successfully completed and my brother's wedding will take place as planned.

However, my father and brother, who drank too much yesterday, still look hungover and spicy, even with the magic of my detoxification. Dan didn't even get breakfast, by the way, and he's still asleep. I woke up once, to be exact, but I did the magic of detoxification again on so much complexion that I forced him to sleep. It's the cause of that hangover, but somehow Dan seems to have been liked by the Dwarves. I didn't seem to be forced, but at only sixteen years old, I couldn't tell my drinking pace, and I drank quite a bit. I noticed it during the banquet and did it several times with the magic of detoxification, but again, I was stunningly hungover.

When I say that, many years of experience have said things and I have controlled the pace of drinking myself, so I have a slight headache. Of course, instead of being hungover without magic, I drank enough to be three.

All but Dan's squire and vigilantes are fine and are going to clean up the venue. I also planned to go clean up the grills and tanks I made on my own because I had to put them back together. But Uncle Borderline's belly, Baron Oldham, asked me to leave it that way, and I ran out of business to go. Anything. Uncle Borderline said he liked the outdoor party at that place a lot, and he wants to keep it up. As I let the magicians make the ice, I thought the thermos were useless, but they told me they thought they were available by adding baked stones, etc.

Still, I headed to the venue to see the end of the banquet I had planned, but the guild staff had already started cleaning it up early in the morning, and after ten o'clock it would be cleaned up.

By the way, only about half of the distilled liquor brought by Uncle Borderline was left by Apple Brandy. Wondering, on my way home last night, I asked Deigenhardt why.

"Without the distilled liquor from the village of Rasmore at Rodrick's wedding, you'd be dressed. Except for us, but half a barrel would be enough for the humans, wouldn't it?

Apparently, you've shunned me for my brother.

Ales and beers brought in by the Dwarves on the other side, but were consumed more than they thought.

The number of barrels brought in is thirty-one. Most of them are cask sizes called hogsheads, which come in roughly two hundred and fifty litres. In other words, as many as seven thousand seven hundred and fifty litres of liquor were available.

Twenty-six varieties were available because there were five mighty men who had prepared two barrels, but all varieties were opened and ten barrels were completely emptied. Few barrels opened also had more than half left, estimated but consumed at least three thousand litres.

About two hundred Dwarf blacksmiths. The wives and the human blacksmiths add up to about two hundred, so it goes from seven to eight liters per person. This is an amazing amount, but three hundred and fifty liters of distilled liquor is added to it.

(Fifteen jocks in a beer per person, or a bottle of whiskey... If you're a human, there's a level of death from acute alcohol poisoning... I feel strange that our guys are all about hangovers...)

I was dazzled by the amount.

The cleanup came to an end as soon as I could think of it, and I was out of hand.

It's a corner, so I tried to go back to Wellburn City to stroll around the city, but the use of Baron Oldham shows up and I can tell him I want him back at the castle as soon as possible.

I thought something was up and hurried back to the castle and was immediately taken to Uncle Borderline's office.

In addition to the borderline uncle, the office was consulted by Baron Oldham and First Knights regiment leader Baron Braceford, as well as several more martial arts officers. Furthermore, my father, Masaias, was part of the consultation.

Baron Oldham tells me that he lost sight of Harrison Gannell, a subordinate of Associate Baron Desmond Gateskel.

"A report from a knight sent to detain Ganell confirmed that he had entered Viscount Tiesburn's territory, but that he could not grasp the footsteps since..."

He said a squadron was dispatched by the Second Knights the day after the battle at Welburn Castle to detain Gannell. But when I entered the Viscount Territory, my footsteps disappeared and I have no idea where I am now.

"... we also know that Gannell was on a backward turmoil and other operations on the western front. Gateskell says there are no gestures, but there are rumors that he is good at assassinations and so on, and he is considering dealing with them."

When asked in detail, Harrison Gannell seemed to be the commander of the so-called "so-called" guerrilla battle, raiding the enemy's heavy units or in a small number of defensive strongholds. Luke's soldiers said he was afraid by saying "silver ghost” because of his insolent and relentless attacks, the color of his silver hair - now gray but formerly light gold.

"It wasn't until three days ago that I was able to grab a foothold. From Tiesburn territory to Welburn, using a horse will take two days and a long time... which means it's not strange if you've already infiltrated Welburn here..."

Raswell Border Uncle and Baron Oldham were concerned that Gannell would run into acts of terrorism. The Braceford Knights Commander said he has taken it and is stepping up security in the city of Welburn.

Baron Oldham talks about Ganell's aim.

"Gannell's aim must be to rescue Associate Baron Gateskell. But rescue will not be possible in the dungeons of the Knights headquarters..."

I was listening to the barons and thinking about Ganell's aim.

(Gannell has pledged allegiance to Gateskell. It would be common sense to think of it as aiming to rescue. But Gannell knows who Gateskell is. Gateskell has high pride. He was said to be a cutter over Borderline Uncle. It is publicly said that it was manipulated as a precursor to Luke's fanatics and Aurelia's worshippers. Isn't it hard to imagine, for example, that Gateskell will escape and aspire to a recurrence? ……

Uncle Borderline asked me for my opinion.

"I think you're thinking something, but let me know what Sir Zacharias thinks."

I nodded and started talking about what I was thinking right now.

"As for Gannell's behavior, isn't he thinking about rescuing Associate Baron Gateskell?

Borderline uncle asks strangely, "Why not?"

"Gannell is a man who has infiltrated enemy countries and carried out dangerous missions. I find it hard to think about acting without thinking ahead."

"Hmm. Sure. But how does that have to do with not being able to rescue Gateskell?

"Perhaps this is what you think. What happens after that for getting the Associate Baron out? By whose guide did the Associate Baron escape? Most people would think so, guided by Luke's hand…"

Everyone snorts at my words.

"... the Associate Baron should naturally consider that as well. If you are a man who can be a thoroughly evil man, you will either escape here and try to restart, or you will scratch to reward Your Excellency with an arrow. But the Associate Baron loves his country as much as he does, and until he thinks he's been at the forefront of an enemy country, I wonder if he won't want to live. I mean, even if you try to force yourself to rescue him, it's not like the Associate Baron would do it right...... Gannell knows exactly how to be the Associate Baron. Well, isn't it hard to think about trying to rescue them?"

When I was done talking, Baron Oldham nodded as he was convinced,

"I see. So is his aim the life of His Excellency the Governor and his family? If that's the case, Lord Zacharias, you'll be targeted too."

"It's possible that I... sure. It's not strange to think without me...... but yesterday I was lucky. You wouldn't be hit by surprise at that venue, but you could have been targeted on the move."

Everyone snorts at my words.

If Ganell had been in action within yesterday, it is likely that the Border Birds would have been under attack.

Then we go into specific discussions.

Firstly, Captain Braceford expresses his intentions to Borderline Uncle, "We will certainly try to capture Rosalind by his marriage".

"What exactly do we do?

After the captain said for a moment to ask Uncle Borderline,

"I will sweep away all suspicious people on the grounds of enhanced security for the ceremony. Our northern governor's office will surely capture Ganell!

That being said, no more specific measures emerged.

(You wouldn't actually be able to say a sweep of the suspicious. Wellburn has a population of 30,000. Together, the surrounding cities and villages should have more than 100,000 people. Tourists will influx for the ceremony... First, the Knights' soldiers won't be fit to investigate. The other guy is professional enough to dive into an enemy country. bad for the knights but better not expect it......)

Borderline uncle thought the same thing about me, after nodding to the Knights chief's opinion, he asked me for my opinion.

"I would like to hear Sir Zacharias's opinion. What would Sir do?

I don't have a name for it either, but for now, I'm going to tell you what I can come up with about the actions Ganell can take.

"First of all, it's an action that Gannell can take, but if he's already infiltrated Wellburn, he's likely not to come out lurking somewhere until the wedding ceremony"

I already saw the possibility of being lurking. And even though we would have set priorities for our aim.

The primary goal would naturally be Hubert Raswell Borderline Bob. Next any of his family. And the Lockhart family. Especially my brother Rodrick, who is the stepson of Uncle Borderline, and me, who is responsible for this Gateskell leg loss, are likely to be targeted.

"If I were to aim for your life, it would be the time for the last parade of the ceremony. Then it's possible to get close to the crowd."

Everyone snorts.

"As His Excellency the Knights Commander said, it is important to capture them by the ceremony. To do this, you need to pull it out of the lurking area. It makes him want to jump."

The Braceford Knights Commander said, "Bait? What exactly do you have in mind?" and say the question.

"It's me."

Everyone takes a breath in that word.

"Of Gannell's targets, I would be the only one out of the castle who wouldn't be unnatural. Your Excellency, of course, it is unnatural for your family to leave the castle, and it is also unnatural for your brother to go outside the Knights headquarters and quarters. It's not unnatural for me to stroll around the city."

The Knights chief snorts at my words,

"But as Sir goes outside the castle, you realize it's about Ganell, a trap?

I nodded "yes,"

"So first we create a situation that makes him want to come out"

Uncle Borderline said, "Specifically?" and prompt ahead.

"Firstly, we will circulate rumors that Associate Baron Gateskel has already harmed himself. And strengthen security in Wellburn city. Well, specifically after publishing the parade course, does it feel like we will thoroughly check again and again where we are likely to be able to conduct raids on that course..."

As Captain Braceford put his arms around my words, "I know the parade course security enhancements, but why are you spreading rumors of self-harm on Gateskell?" and say the question.

"If the Associate Baron had already died, Gannell would not choose the means of rescue. Then you should think only of assassinations."

"But didn't Sir just say he didn't think about rescuing Gateskell?"

I bow my head, "There was a lack of explanation."

"It's only my idea that Gannell won't rescue the Associate Baron, and I don't know how Gannell actually works. If Gannell finds out about the Associate Baron's death, even if he was thinking about rescuing him, he has to give up. This will make it easier to predict his behavior."

"I see," the Knights chief nodded loudly, understanding my intentions as well.

"If we can only give Gannell the option of assassination, and if we can make him think that assassination in a parade is impossible, we'll have even fewer options."

So the borderline uncle nods loudly.

"So you've been trying to make Gannell think you have no choice but to assassinate Sir."

"Yes, of course, if Gannell has enough sources, it could take my thoughts backwards. But judging by the information we have, I think he has very few moves."

Baron Oldham nods at it, but disagrees that it is dangerous.

"But that man is very good at this hand thing. I understand what Sir Zacharias is thinking, but isn't it early?"

In contrast, when Captain Braceford,

"Let's use" Who "as an escort over the Knights. Even though Gannell is good at assassinations, he won't be late sooner."

In contrast, I shook my head.

"I hope you don't need an escort. I want you to think that I can't even hang Gannell on my teeth."

The Knights captain was flabbergasted by what I said about not putting an escort on him, and said, "Too reckless!," he taps the table and stands up, somewhat emotionally disputing.

"Sir is going to be without a guard! I just think I'm proud of you, even if you're not Gunnel!

It is indeed reckless to challenge a fighter like Ganell who specializes in guerrilla warfare to give him the lead. But in my case, I can handle it if I don't even die instantly.

I can't help but make a smile.

"If you don't even die instantly, you can handle it. I think it's harder to make sure you don't get away with it."

Everyone but my father shook his head at my words, and even the Knights Commander seemed to have been shattered.

So my father uttered his words for the first time.

"It would be unnatural to hang around for a long time when it comes to getting out of the city. Besides, I don't think they're going to attack us all of a sudden."

I was relieved that the subject had moved to means. Because if Uncle Borderline disagreed that it was dangerous, he could never get out of the castle.

"Yes. I'm also thinking about that. I'm just making a date with the Mels. That's just the two of us all day. There are two days until the day after tomorrow, the day before the marriage ceremony. In the meantime, if you keep showing gaps from morning to evening, you should cut the paralysis over there as well. It just seems like she's enjoying herself."

I made him say that so that I could get out of the way, but my father would not break his serious expression and argue.

"If you're a leading adventurer, Lydia or Miss Beatrice, you can tell, but you can't risk young Mel or Sharon yet."

"Surely Sharon would be difficult. But with Beatrice, Gannell won't be able to attack either. I was wondering if Mel and Liddy would be appropriate. The first day they'll see how it goes too, so the second day should be the most likely one. I'll have Liddy deal with him that day."

"But... are you sure you're okay?

I also looked back at my father with a serious look and proclaimed, "At least I'll let Mel and Liddy protect you,"

"It's a matter of silence to them, so I'll try to protect them even in exchange for my life."

My father said, "You're not going to talk?" and stunned.

"Yeah, because if we talk, it won't be a date. It won't be a trap if they don't seem to enjoy it."

My father lost his word and hasn't pursued it any further. Instead, Uncle Borderline opposes my measures.

"Sir is not one of Noon's men. What's more, Sir has already saved my life. There's no need for Sir to put himself in danger any more."

I shook my head.

"This is also for me. If you take a prank of time, you don't know where you're going to be targeted. Now, Gannell won't be able to make enough preparations either. This is a great opportunity."

Uncle Borderline seems worried about taking my measures. But show hesitation in putting me in danger.

"But..."

"Of course, I'm not going to risk uselessness either. But it makes the most sense for me to be..."

Looks like he decided to take my measures, though troubled.

"... you will owe Sir more than you can repay..."

"Then I would like to ask His Excellency to deal with it later, when the Lydianes are scattered. 'Cause for me, I'm more of a horrible opponent than Ganell."

When I stand aside and say so, Uncle Borderline snorts with a smile.

Captain Braceford, who was watching beside me, has spoken with a serious look.

"I seem to have misunderstood Sir. I made Sir uncomfortable about Glenfel - the Fourth Battalion captain who was made to rebel. Sorry."

"Never mind. Because it is true that I said terrible things to Captain Glenfel. Besides, there are some parts of me that I said in earnest then. So no need to apologize."

Captain Braceford said nothing more.

And it was decided that Operation Ganel Capture would begin the next day.
