Dream Life

Episode 41: Rosalind Lockhart

Early morning of July 21, 2017, Tria calendar.

The first morning I welcome you since your last name changed.

Until yesterday, Raswell, from today on, Lockhart...

And the first morning I woke up in the arms of my beloved man.

"Good morning...... good morning. Rosalie."

My husband, Rodrick Lockhart, seemed to have already woken up. Still, you're not used to it, sometimes it's a tribute, and every time you do, you blush. I'm not sure now before dawn, but I'm sure you'll be blushing at this moment as well.

But I don't think we have a choice in this. I think it's hard to change all of a sudden because it's been a long time between the daughter and the knight at home. We just have to get used to it one by one.

I thought that in a corner of my head, but immediately turned my body toward him,

"Good morning. You."

That's right, I said hello back.

My husband doesn't say anything, he hugs me gently, he mouths me.

I was suddenly surprised, but my chest got hot that this was the morning for a couple I loved.

"It's still like before dawn. Sleep a little more."

I almost nodded at my husband's tender voice,

"May I? You don't have to go to daily workouts."

"Yeah. No, I'm trying to stop it today... because I want to be with you"

My husband hangs a kind word for me.

For a moment I felt like I was going to rise to heaven, but I also remembered the slightest doubt. I wondered if this man would have been someone who could say such sweet words to women.

Sir Zacharias, who became my brother-in-law, no, Mr. Zach wouldn't know. But this man is the most serious of the Knights. It was surprising that the husband said this to me. I never hate it. Instead, it made me feel very happy, but I felt a little uncomfortable.

"It was a surprise. I can't believe you know what it's like to be such a woman."

That's what I said to tease you a little.

I don't see his expression, but he was sighing small.

"I knew you'd understand."

When I uttered my doubts, I began to explain the reasons for the discomfort I felt.

"Last night my brother told me that Zach..."

When I heard the story, Mr. Zach said he gave his husband a lot of advice. One of them was to be nice this morning when I woke up. He said the advice was a little more specific and there were a lot of other things, but he didn't tell me any more.

I was a little relieved to hear that, as well as laughing that it was just Mr. Zach.

"But it was good, just like you thought."

My husband hugged me again instead of answering it.

In the end, I decided to stay up and attend the Lockhart family training. I was going to join in because I can use my sword a little too, but my husband isn't really into rides.

"I'm going to be a Lockhart woman, too. Don't you have to raise your sword arms to defend your territory"

My husband shook his head, "Wearing,"

"No, that's not true. Because now my mother does not have a sword, and neither do my servant's wives nor anyone else attend the training."

I was apparently mistaken.

When it comes to women in the Lockhart family, all I know is your mother-in-law (oh mama), your sister-in-law Seraphine and Sophia, and the Lydianes with Zach. Except for my mother-in-law, even Sophia had a sword, and Baron Manfred Braceford, the head of the Knights, said of Mr. Lydiane and the others, "All four of those four were a thousand strong men, the Tsuwano," so even women took it for granted to fight in the Lockhart family.

In the meantime, I changed into a horseback riding outfit that was easy to move today, and headed to the northeast part of the castle where the Lockhart family, along with my husband and his squire, Sim Marron, my maid, Angie, and Angelica Colridge, are training - near where the knights' stuffing is located.

Outside the castle the night had already begun to dawn and the sky had begun to change from blue to blue.

The training location had all the Lockhart family. I was already doing unusual exercises to warm up my body. Ask her husband later, he says it's called a “stretch” that takes place at the Lockhart family as a prep movement.

"Good morning. Father-in-law, mother-in-law."

Firstly, I greeted Sir Masaias and Master Tanya, who became stepfathers, as well as the others.

I was a little nervous, but you all seem to be accepting me happily, and you greet me back with a bright voice.

The only person, Mr. Zach, looked a little subtle. It wasn't against me, it was against my husband, Rodrick. After Mr. Zach returns his greetings to us, he pulls his husband's arm and leaves a little. From the slightly audible content of the conversation, he seemed to be talking about why he advised not to participate in today's training.

Baron Braceford and two young knights joined the training after us. We all were surprised to start our father-in-law suddenly joining us, but it seemed that the baron was going to explain something to his father-in-law and train him in the same way.

I finished my greeting and conducted a prep movement as my husband taught me. After going about enough, the bareback began with the decree of Guy Jakes, a squire.

I keep barebacking enough, but that was just harsh on me, and I couldn't get my arms up anymore. Angie is waving her sword with me, too, but she still looks painful.

I started learning swordsmanship around the age of eleven five years ago.

I started learning swordsmanship for a reason.

I had three brothers, including Brother Patrick, who was my son. You two were otherworlds before I was born, and my brother Patrick died five years ago. When your brother died, I was eleven years old, and that's when I thought, I wonder if I will die as I am, and so will my beloved family, my father, my sister-in-law, Dear Cordelia, and my nephew, Francis.

I was desperate to figure out if there was anything I could do for it. The result was to act with the Knights as much as possible.

Now I think it must have been a shallow idea. Because there's no way we're going to solve this by just putting the knights on our side. But at that time, I was still young, and I couldn't even think about it that much. Maybe there was something like a distrust of your father who couldn't protect your brothers.

As a result, I learned swordsmanship and even forced my father to take an active part in the Knights' exercises.

For starting at the age of eleven, and for being handed down for the reason of being the daughter of a lord, my swordsmanship arm went up. At the age of fourteen, it was a short period of only three years from the beginning, but the swordsmanship level was fourteen. It was enough to fight the Knights' squire against each other already if it was a mock fight.

I seem to have grown there.

We tried to match the younger knights and squires to each other as best we could. Of course, there's a reason I started.

If I raise my name as a female knight, and always with the knights, will the knights also be on my side? I thought you might meet a brilliant, and honest knight. Now that I think about it, I think it's a very selfish reason.

Another purpose is to get rid of your princes who are going to propose to me. I was looking for a knight who would protect us to protect my own life and my family. So I thought it wasn't enough for the son of a senior aristocrat.

Now that I think of it, martial arts are not the only force, so even the sons of powerful aristocrats should have served my purpose. But back then, I only had force in my head when it came to power.

But my wishes have come true.

My husband, Rodrick, promised me he would protect me, and because the Rockhart family's attachment to my side would make the Raswell family peaceful.

Me and Angie just sat around barebacking.

Although only marginally sufficient, it is because we must continue to wave our swords in line with Jakes' decree. We can go on about enough if we're just normal bareback, too. But the bare gestures in this House were completely different. What can I say? You keep shaking with your soul in one swing at a time.

We didn't have it, but if you pretend to be a little distracted, the voice of reprimand flies from Jakes and Byron Seedorf. Even though we knew it wasn't reprimand for ourselves, we were overwhelmed by that voice.

Perhaps no one would have said anything if we had taken a break on the way. But I also married the Lockhart family. I kept waving my sword at will that I couldn't throw it out from the first day. It's embarrassing, but that's all I've used up my strength. Even though it's just a prep exercise for the Lockhart family to warm their bodies.

After that, I was just visiting, but seeing the Lockhart family training, it was a series of surprises.

As old as I am, Zach and the others, even Theophilus and Seraphine, who are only ten years old, were fighting a mock battle without a clue.

Furthermore, my lord, my father-in-law, was also beaten down and cursed by Byron Seedorf, a squire of giants. It's an unlikely sight in another house. Because he makes an unrestrained intrusion on his master and even makes him curse to stand up even more.

I have clearly understood what it means to have a sword in this House. And can I have a sword, or will I be compelled to make that choice?

At the end of the training, everyone but me and Angie, my mother-in-law, was muddy.

She said it was pre-breakfast training.

I tried to order Angie to ask for water to sweat.

"Oh, it's okay. 'Cause my Zach's gonna do something about it."

My mother-in-law says that with a smile, but I didn't know why Mr. Zach and the others were related.

Here at Wellburn Castle there are two large baths for about ten people and a few smaller baths. In the case of a large bath, it takes more than three hours to prepare the water, so I wasn't thinking about putting the water up in the tub, but it still takes time to prepare the water to wipe my body.

I meant what your mother-in-law said, but as soon as I went to the bathroom, I knew.

It was Lydiane Dupree and Guy Jakes' daughter, Sharon, who was magically making water. I was even more surprised by the fact that the rumors of Mr. Zach and the others flowing in Doctus were true in the eyes of the act of making water by magic.

The rumor I heard was that Mr. Zach and his men were using magic in everything to make themselves comfortable.

Even the feast used magic to make ice and chill wine, so I knew it was a true story, but I didn't think I'd use magic for a bath.

When I spoke to my mother-in-law,

"Zach likes to take a bath. I think we'll know when we get to the village..."

They say the village of Rasmore, a territory, has a large bath and is in with the villagers. I was surprised by the fact that Zach, who was only young, made that bath, but I listened to her mother-in-law and was strangely convinced that she could be anything.

The two of us prepare water for the women, but they say there's only one Mr. Zach for the men. Exactly. The water seems to be prepared by the squire, but it still looks tough.

We'll have breakfast where we sweat neatly and prepare for the unveiling journey that begins today. Angie was summoned along the way and it took a little while, but by around 10: 00 we could leave as planned.

Asking Angie where she had been before she left,

"It was the summons of the hall, but the ladies were gathered together, and they were recruited with the lady to hope to go to Lockhart territory..."

Apparently, my father recruited a hopeful woman to pick a samurai to attach to me. I've heard that story, too, and I told you then that Angie was enough, but my daughter is still cute. My father seems to have thought about accompanying one or two other people besides Angie.

"... of course I raised my hand instantly, but to my surprise, more than half of the samurai wanted it instantly. The museum was also surprised by this…"

Angie's story says most of the maids in charge of the service at yesterday's feast, everyone but Barbara, the head of the maid, raised their hands.

"... Master Barbara wasn't particularly surprised, but I was impressed by the look on her face that just seemed a little unfortunate. Maybe Master Barbara wanted to raise her hand too..."

I didn't know why most of the maids in charge of the service put their hands up. What can I say, Rasmore Village is a pioneering village on the border. They do say it's a peaceful and rich village, but they didn't know why the young ladies wanted to leave Welburn, the city, and live in the countryside.

Angie told me what her colleagues had heard about it.

"I think Sir Zacharias fascinated me. Rin's appearance and gentle expression during the practice of her service, and the cute look she sometimes shows..."

And Angie added with a laugh:

"... Nevertheless, Sir Zacharias is as rumored. I couldn't believe it when I heard about Prince Harlem (All-Range Prince) in all directions, but she's a great lady and no, she's a real girlfriend..."

My husband has rarely pinched his mouth in that story.

"Zach is not such a clever man."

I wonder if I am,

"But you lived with Mr. Lydiane, Mr. Beatrice, and four of your two childhood friends, right?

"Yes, but... maybe if we stay together, we'll find out"

My husband felt like he didn't know what to say, and he didn't talk any more. I learned at this time that my husband was not really jealous of Mr. Zach.

My husband is also said to be a genius swordsman, but Mr. Zach is a genius at swordsmanship, magic, politics, and alcohol...... whatever he really makes you do. If I were born a man and my brother was a genius like Mr. Zach, he would definitely be jealous. But my husband, Rodrick, is not at all jealous of his brother, Mr. Zach. On the contrary, I am embarrassed (but also) about Angie's teasing, and I have honestly listened to Zach's advice last night.

I was so glad I chose Rod as my husband at this time.

Mr. Zach is a genius, but this guy has the metric to admit it. I was very proud of it and unknowingly hugged it in his arms.

I asked about the lady accompanying me to change the subject.

"Let's get back to it, who else is coming besides Angie?

"I don't know yet. Because I'm not saying it's a decision either. I need to understand my parents..."

Her story says that my father gave instructions to all those who wished to have their parents' consent.

The ladies of Welburn Castle are the barons with a relatively nearby territory, the ladies of the knights' house, so you can get confirmation in about five days. He said his father instructed us to get parental permission by our departure.

As far as I'm concerned, I don't want to leave Angie, who thinks like my sister, but this all depends on what Baron Colridge thinks.

In any case, I'm going to be a Lockhart family person. Everyone gets annoyed with the sweet idea as before.

When I was thinking about that, my husband held my hand tight and looked me in the eye and said, "It's okay. Because I'm here," he whispered.

See how that goes. Angie said something. I do, but I left my body with my husband, without worrying about it.

I'll be fine with this guy from now on. That's what I thought.
