Dream Life

Episode 83: Johnny the Brave

Tria history October 3, 2017.

Master Zacharias was headed north, and we were to remain in Ars. Besides me, Jonathan Water, I was left, Dear Scott Wishkey, Distillation Manager of the village of Rasmore, and my squire, Will Keegan, and you two were very worried about the impending crisis in your hometown, the village of Rasmore. I was also worried about the craftsmen I brought from Wellburn - the northern city of the Caerm Empire.

I'm worried, but we won't be back until we're safe. We must absolutely avoid any danger, especially to Master Scott. As someone who puts his place in the blacksmith guild, this is a top priority.

We plan to return to the village with an excellent escort on a regular distilled liquor flight (Scotch Liner), but the Scotch Liner departure is delayed. Originally, we were scheduled to leave today, October 3rd, but due to the fact that the Kingdom of Kaum has advanced its crusade force of oaks, we are to see how it goes until October 5th, the day after tomorrow. This is because the blacksmith guild's most important figure, Master Scott, will accompany him, and he decided in consultation with the guild that the head of the Scotchliner, Nathan Barlow, and the distiller guard, Captain Russell Holt, need to eliminate the danger as far as possible.

Assuming Master Scott says he really wants to come home in this situation, not only the elite Scotch Guardians, but a thousand units of troops will move from the Knights of the Kingdom of Kaum. Blacksmith Guild Headquarters will undoubtedly issue an "order” in the name of “request” to the Kingdom, and there is no doubt that Queen Katrina will be persuaded His Majesty the King.

It is also my job to ensure that Zacharias does not become such an important "Oh and". Of course, Master Scott is a wise man, and he shouldn't want that to happen.

I'm talking about Master Zacharias, but over the past few months, I've gradually figured out who he is. He's very versatile, he's superb as a politician, a samurai and a magician. But the knowledge and restraint of alcohol gives me the impression that those talents are so sumptuous.

In fact, that (...) Master Scott will always listen to what Zacharias has to say. Mr. Scott and I have only been dating for about two months and it is only hearsay, but Mr. Scott is sometimes unsuccessful in the words of the lord of Lockhart when it comes to brewing liquor. So many people have almost unconditionally accepted Zacharias's comments.

In fact, it was decided to use the peat "Pete" found in the village of Bow I went to the other day without trying it. Despite the fact that the village brewers say it will smell bad and that it can't be used for beer etc. I also checked the smell, but I would normally get lost in judging if I could put such a strong scent on it, but Master Scott was also smiling at Zacharias' confident words. I was really curious about that, and I asked Master Zacharias why, but he gave me an ambiguous smile and didn't get a clear answer, "Look forward to three years from now".

I am amazed by the wealth of other knowledge about alcohol. As well as distilled liquor, wine, beer, etc., are also deeply made. Welburn referred to the secret ale formula of the head of the Dägenhardt Grabusch branch, and here in Ars he was quickly noticed how to make the secret wine of the Queen's home - a sweet white wine. The magical talent that keeps the name of a genius in mind is normally used to drink. Not only was he the head of the Dägenhardt branch, but even the head of the Drexler craftsman, rounded his eyes to the sight. The Dwarf blacksmiths have a glance, which is exactly what we should also say is the petitioner of the liquor god, and there must be ten words, a hundred words, instead of one when it comes to drinking.

It was the securing of Peat, the peat that came out earlier, that the Zacharias commissioned from me and Jack Harper, an official of the headquarters. I have negotiated a contract with the village chief in Bow Village to have it sent on a regular basis, so I am able to secure the amount of instructions from Mr. Zacharias, but I am anxious in one place in view of the future. I am asking Mr Harper to look for a similar peat 'Pete'.

This is the purpose for which I extended my legs to the faraway Ars, but that's securing Scotch for Welburn. Scotch is made in the village of Rasmore and should have negotiated with the Lockhart family, but as things stand, the production is not catching up and we have to turn it away from Scotch for Ars.

I've known about this since I was already in Wellburn, but it's a very tough job.

Naturally. Because they demand that the Dwarf blacksmith spin the liquor against the main mountain.

This is harder than soliciting donations from Aurelia's money-keeper, no, than getting prey from a hungry wolf. If someone says they're going to do it on their behalf, I want them to do it right away. Of course, no one like that is anywhere. So, I have to negotiate, but my stomach hurts just thinking about negotiating with that Drexler master.

At first, I thought about asking Master Zacharias or Mr. Scott to help me. Negotiations would have gone smoothly if either of you had brokered them.

But that's out of line. Because this story is my job as an employee of the Blacksmith Guild Welburn branch and it has nothing to do with you two. Welburn's share should be secured after he has been properly convinced by General Headquarters in order not to leave the cause behind later.

And now I'm standing in front of the master craftsman's office.

We would have planned to conclude the negotiations by yesterday, but in addition to Uncle Granger's attempted assault on Master Zacharias, there has been overlap between the creation of weapons and this oak disturbance, among other things, and preliminary negotiations have not even been possible.

Negotiator General Drexler is also a typical "Dwarf blacksmith" and is usually very easy to talk to. However, the typical Dwarf blacksmith has a very strong restraint on alcohol. Especially as they call it "the most liquor-bound master of craftsmanship in the history of the Blacksmith Guild", such as announcing it to the whole world under the name of the master craftsman. I have to challenge that one. Just thinking about it made the door in front of me look heavy like a castle gate.

Still, I shook my courage and knocked on the door.

Permission to enter immediately, slowly going inside. My current state of mind was like a gladiator in front of a mighty enemy, or a brave man who stood up to evil dragons ready to die. Of course, I can't possibly know a former merchant like that, so it's a story in the story.

When Chief Drexler said, "What does it look like?," he asked severely. I'm not particularly grumpy, as usual, but it sounded harsh to me.

"I came to talk to you about Scotch turning to Welburn"

With the word Scotch, the eyes of the master craftsman glowed and something like killing was released. I felt like I was let go. Without the usual cheer, with a low voice,

I'm not talking about giving up Scotch.

"Yes," he replied, desperately suppressing his feet, which were about to tremble,

"We need two barrels a month, at least twenty a year"

Two hundred barrels of distilled liquor are consumed annually here in Ars. It will be a demand to give up 10% of it. The master craftsman said, "Twenty barrels," and he said, "a low voice." He has been staring at me.

"You're telling me you know how much that is?

I manage to say, "Why, I understand it hits 10% of the whole thing," but my voice is shaking. Still squeezing courage,

"There will be three hundred blacksmiths in the parent class here. Wellburn is about two hundred people who are qualified to drink if they add up the blacksmiths around. I don't think it's weird to ask for four times as many barrels as it should be."

I spoke up quickly and ran out of words at once. Because I thought if I stopped along the way, my mouth would be paralyzed and speechless. The master master of craftsmanship shook his head to the side small,

"The Wellburn guys and my guys have different arms. If it's true, Degenhardt would have put three hundred of us in here. But I don't think the others deserve a drink."

The master craftsman was not convinced by my explanation.

What the master craftsman said is not wrong. The level of the blacksmiths in the general headquarters far exceeds that of the branch. I actually saw Master Zacharias' weaponry and I feel its awesomeness, too. Perhaps even the Branch Manager would be appreciated as a middleman here.

Still, I argued.

"Even so, I don't think we're going to be talking about General Headquarters saying we can have a monopoly. As you may know, this is what that (...) Zacharias said in Wellburn.“ This liquor is for liquor lovers, not for craftsmen, "he said. If you're a liquor lover, you shouldn't take Welburn blacksmiths to be Ars blacksmiths."

The master craftsman slightly distorts his face in my words. I decided this was the time to attack.

"Okay. Now, let's just say that there was no such thing."

The master master craftsman asked me back, "What does that mean?"

"I give up on scotch for three years (...)..."

So the master craftsman seems to have noticed, but I will continue with the words in a stronger tone.

"For that matter, we will negotiate with the Lockhart family to send the" Zack Collection ”to Welburn. So far, there seems to be no contract with the General Headquarters."

The master craftsman glanced at Guillaume and said, "You think that's allowed!" and stood up revealing his anger. I had the illusion that the body of the master craftsman had swelled several times and that there was a great ghost (orga) in front of me.

As a result, I instinctively took half a step back, but I managed to stop. I don't know how my leg could have stopped even if I thought about it later. But then, miraculously, I succeeded in stomping.

"Yu, forgiveness or nothing...... In the first place, the Lockhart lord's permission is required for where the Zack collection is shipped. The Blacksmith Guild should have had no decision."

I'm going to be incontinent with an even stronger killer, but I can't lose here. If we lose, we won't be able to go home to Welburn.

"... you're going to take the Zach collection away from Nong et al.," the master master craftsman groaned low.

"Ugh, nothing to take away, it shouldn't have been decided yet that the total HQ would buy out the whole number"

The master craftsman growls low and stares at him. It's like before the dragon released the braces.

Still, I wasn't frightened. He was prepared to challenge his mighty enemies from the front like the brave men in the story. And this is where we braced our bellies when we fought.

"They say it's up to Zacharias to decide where to ship it. I return to the village of Rasmore with Master Scott. In other words, it will be the Wellburn branch that will negotiate with Master Zacharias first…"

Ignoring the master craftsman who keeps roaring like a grueling and starving swordtooth tiger, Sabertiger, he goes on to talk.

"Master Zacharias feels beneficial to our headquarters. But you should also be grateful to the blacksmiths of Welburn, the benefactor of your own life and that of your family. Of course, the Wellburn branch won't be able to buy all the Zack collections...... but Master Zacharias knows that the Wellburn blacksmiths are also waiting for the Zack collections, and the Lockhart family and the Wellburn branch have a very good relationship at the Great Banquet......"

I presented information that the Wellburn branch would favour. In fact, Master Zacharias was very grateful to Mr. Deigenhardt, who broke through the castle gate at Welburn Castle, and at the grand banquet, the relationship between the Lockhart family and the Blacksmiths at Welburn was very good, it has been conveyed to the General Headquarters.

"I mean, if the Wellburn branch wants it, it's possible to have the Zack collection turned,"

The master master of craftsmanship kept roaring at me, staring at me even more.

"So please do it again. Could you please recognize the three-year scotch as twenty barrels a year, a few barrels of the Zack collection, for the Wellburn branch?"

The master craftsman has intensified his killing spirit. If you're weak, that's the only force that's going to stop your heart. I, myself, was about to collapse from my knees, but I faced straight with strength in my belly. Later on, I don't know why I could have stood.

A few seconds later, incredibly, the master craftsman said, "You'll have to admit to that extent. Of course, I have to hang on to the general meeting......" he showed a concessional attitude.

I had no doubt that the master craftsman made a light concession besides his thoughts to the relief that he had perpetuated his life over the joy of winning the battle.

"By the way," cried the master master craftsman.

"Is this what you thought? Zach didn't come in here to be wise, did he?

I immediately replied confidently, "Master Zacharias is not involved at all".

The master craftsman said, "If only," and this story is over.
