Dream Life

Episode III: Treatment of the information obtained

Tria history on the evening of October 15, 317.

I found the wings of a species called the Moon Demons at Luna's raw house this afternoon.

I was worried about how to take that fact, but I am telling this fact to the three of you, Liddy, Beatrice and Dan, who are coming to the village of Thysek with me.

"I've never heard of the Moon Demons. Well, as far as I know."

When Liddy says so, Beatrice nods, "You've never even heard of me," either.

"At least there shouldn't have been any stories of demons other than the Winged Demons in Dr. Raspade's lab book or in the book on the Great Library Demons. I've never even heard of Mr. Kitley."

I was looking for information about the Demons in the academic city of Doctus in order to fight God's enemies to come.

Naturally, I was also trying to get as much information about the Demons as I could from Professor Lionel Raspade, a mentor and the most prestigious researcher at the Tilia School of Magic, the highest school in the world, and Professor Kittry Erbain, who has a lot of information about ancient books along with research on God and the Spirit.

Still, I never heard the keyword Moon Demons. Which means we don't have any information about the Moon Demons.

Liddy's "So, what do you do? Are you going to tell Luna?" I shake my head. "

"I'll just ask Luna"

When Liddy said, "Why?" He asks me why.

"If we talk about a demon tribe called the Moon Demon tribe, which nobody has heard of poorly, it is possible that we will be questioned why we ask that. From the keyword Demon Nation, you may realize that this time the Orcs were also used by the Ghost Nation. You may think too much, but you could think that the village was attacked because of you"

Liddy nods, "Right," but says, "So you want Dr. Raspade to look into it or something? I've heard even more."

"If you mean it, I'd like my teacher or Mr. Kitley to look into it, but I can't prove that the wings I got belong to the Moon Demon Clan. You can't say anything about unusual demon wings."

I just found out with the special ability “ref” I have, and objectively, it just looks like a big bird's feather. There's nothing to prove even if you put out the keyword Moon Demons. If we're gonna talk about this, we need to explain what I'm capable of.

"Right. In the meantime, we'll just have to see how it goes. After that, if we find the demons who disappeared, things will change somewhat."

Me and Liddy agree with Beatrice.

Dan wasn't really in the debate, but he said "but" and started talking.

"Isn't it dangerous not to tell anyone? If there's a demon clan that doesn't know anything about the Moon Demon clan, it feels like it's going to be a big deal if we don't all know it."

After that, he said, "Excuse me. I said too many answers," he bows his head.

"No, I think what Dan is saying is right. Thinking of the great invasion ten years ago, the Devil's information is invaluable. I don't know how useful this information can be, but it could save a lot of lives..."

The thing that bothered me the most was that. In fact, just figuring out the keyword Moon Demons may not change anything, but just finding one keyword can connect information that has never been connected before and can be figured out at once. I guess I should pass on the information when I think about it that way.

"... but not this time. First of all, the information is not too credible. You need to tell me my secret if you want me to believe you, and then I'm not talking about the Demons. Plus there's Luna. If Luna were to declare herself to be the one sent to God, she would be more likely to pass it on to her enemies. Of course, the enemy is like challenging the gods to battle. I guess I still know about this one. There must be a guy over there just like me, but I was talking about not being able to get my hands on him directly. Well, I don't know if it's a person or a demon..."

My idea is which is more risky.

If you disclose information, you are more likely to get information about the Demon Nation, but my secrets and those of Luna will also be made public. If that happens, not only will my actions be restricted, but it will also give information to the enemy.

If, on the other hand, the information is concealed, research on the Moon Demons will not proceed and will likely turn to the rear in the event of a large-scale invasion. Meanwhile, I can guarantee my freedom of movement.

(Zero risk is unlikely due to these problems. Which risk to take, if so, it should be safer to move freely...)

"... it's too dangerous to make this story public," they all nodded.

Before sunset all five hundred adventurers arrived in the village of Thysek.

There are no traces of demons along the streets, and after tomorrow a search will be conducted around the village, but Reginald Warbeck, the commander, was cautious. Considering the existence of separate teams of demons, half the adventurers leave them in the village of Thysek and turn the other half around for every fifty squads.

They say this draws on the lessons of a decade ago.

Ten years ago, two hundred oaks and fifteen orgasms were herding separately near this village, and this time it is possible that the orgasm is lurking in the same way.

Last time, Auga's footprints had been confirmed, but this time there were no traces, and he had some opinions as to whether it was necessary to do so much, but it meant for vigilance against demons other than Auga, especially wing demons and little demons.

(That's prudent. Will you be this cautious when the Demons are involved... or is it due to Reginald's character?

Not everyone can sleep under the roof in a village where there were just under a hundred people.

I couldn't use the carriage because I was thinking about moving quickly and the road was too bad. As a result, neither the main unit, which combines heavy units, held up much non-food supplies. In other words, there were very few tents, and nearly half of the adventurers were to sleep on the ground in a miscellaneous fish in front of a large bonfire like campfire.

We were assigned a house because we weren't part of the crusade, but tomorrow we gave way to the crusade where the search will continue in order to get back to Thornbrough.

Sometimes it means mid-October and a relatively high altitude, with fairly harsh chills, but still not so bitter if you think about the fact that you were camping to hunt demons in the Saeum Mountains in the middle of winter - the mountains north of Aurelia Street.

Are you alert to night raids, or about fifty adventurers are fully armed and alert to their surroundings. All those who slept in the miscellaneous fishes did not remove their gear and had their weapons on hand so that they could take them immediately.

(It's certainly a night raid when it comes to demons. Maybe you're also thinking about the area with the high percentage of beasts and elves......)

Nothing happened that night, and the adventurers have been moving tightly since the early morning.

Breakfast will be made with cookware we brought ourselves and pots we loaned from the villages' houses, but it is just confusing because there are as many as five hundred people here.

(You don't seem to like these things. Our village vigilante has so much more control. I guess I'm still used to acting party-by-party. I guess it would change if there were more frequent incidents involving demons like this one, but if there is one every ten years or not, I wouldn't be able to do joint training inside...)

Although there was some confusion at breakfast, the search party left one after the other at Reginald's behest.

It's us, but we were checking Luna's house yesterday, so we said no to Reginald and left the village of Thysek after 8: 00 a.m.

The road to Thornblow was as peaceful as the outbound route.

Dan was slightly ahead and alert, but the demons never attacked him, and he didn't feel any suspicious signs. It was as peaceful as a forest west of the village of Rasmore.

He pinched several breaks and arrived in Thornbrough after 3 p.m.

Soon we'll head to the defensive quarters where the Mels will be waiting. Outside the quarters, Mel and Sharon, and Luna were waiting for us.

Mel said, "Welcome home!," he said and hugged, "You're safe and above all," Sharon smiling.

I said, "I'm home. Was there a particular problem," Sharon replied, "This one had nothing," but his expression seemed shady.

At the end of her gaze was Luna. I don't have any emotions on Luna's face, and I get the impression that my soul is missing. When I walked into the quarters and spoke to Sharon in detail,

"I didn't have anything... but I stopped doing anything like Luna... lost her heart. Even if Mel consoled you, she didn't say anything at all..."

He closed his mind completely, and Sharon and Mel couldn't even hit him with their hands.

I stroked Sharon's head like a pom and said, "Good day. I'll take care of it later," he says. That being said, in my mind, I was at a loss.

(Sounds like you closed your mind completely. I guess it's post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I said I'd do something about Sharon, but I'm not even a psychiatrist. I wonder what I can do...)

He then waits for Luna to fall asleep and also tells the Mels about the Moon Demons' wings.

Mel didn't pin any doubts on my decision, but Sharon was staring at me with something to say.

When I asked him, "Even if he cared about something," he nodded small and began to speak in a slow tone.

"I don't mind about the Moon Demons, but I've been curious about Mr. Luna"

When I leaned my neck, I got a spicy look on my face.

"Is Mr. Luna really human? The Dark Spirits tried to protect it so much, and I'm also concerned that it's the blade of the Moon Demon Nation. Isn't it something to do with the Demons?"

Before I say anything, Mel argues, "It's special because Master Zach is the one who leads you."

"Yeah. I know that. But..."

That's what I say and say.

"It was definitely a“ people ”when I checked in" see. ”But I want you to say whatever concerns you. Because you can be wrong."

Sharon nodded small when he said so,

"Maybe Master Zach is mistaken..."

Mel said, "Master Zach is being deceived!" and absurd his voice.

Sharon shook his head sideways small,

"They're trying to defeat God. Even Dear Zach..."

"You sure were a blind spot," admits Sharon before Mel says anything.

(You're absolutely right. I was thinking of the possibility that the gods would disturb my heart, but I never thought that the enemy would interfere in my heart...)

For a moment in Sharon's words, I couldn't believe myself. But I think back soon.

What good does it do the enemy to protect Luna? To obstruct me from meeting those sent by the gods? Or are you aiming to turn me back on the enemy's side?... If the powers of the gods and enemies are antagonistic, the first doesn't make much sense. Because sooner or later the gods will lead us to meet. Second of all, this doesn't make much sense either. If fate leads us to meet, we'll know Luna is a monster on the spot. It's so late to meet, but if this is also determined by the power relationship between God and his enemies, it's not a question of how I can...)

I explained to everyone what I just thought.

"... that is. If God and the enemy are as powerful as they are, there's got to be a fix in there somewhere, even if I'm manipulated. If God's power is inferior to his enemies, it would be useless for me, the human being, to scratch my feet."

Liddy nods to my words, "Right."

"I don't think I can help thinking about it. I know what Sharon's saying, but I hope we always think about what's important."

Sharon thinks, "What's important…" but immediately says, "Yes, I know. Right," he smiled.

(But what Sharon told me was a blind spot... it's a nasty story, but I can handle it with everyone. You'll have to think so......)

Afterwards, check this report made by Sharon.

"... the beginning of the matter was the total annihilation of the village of Clarae, in the north of the Kingdom of Kaum, close to the streets of Toa... Information obtained from the Royal Kaum Army indicates that there are numerous footprints of demons believed to be orcs in both the villages of Clarae and Alice, and the government of the Kingdom of Kaum believes that about two hundred orcs raided the village. However, there were many puzzling things about this information. A herd of oaks would always have made a young woman mausoleum, but only this time the villagers, including young women, had been massacred. Given the currently known habit of orcs, it has to be said that it is peculiar. There are even more puzzling facts. Musketeers had been taken from any village... '

Furthermore, facts such as the murder by weapon from the wounds left on the villagers' bodies and the appearance of a young man from the village of Alice in the town of Bogwood were pale.

And at the end of the day, such considerations were described.

'... the existence of the Demon Nation has not been revealed in the present situation. However, due to the fact that wild oaks moved while obtaining weapons for hundreds of kilometres, and the failure to carry out reproduction acts, it is considered likely that the Orcs were in service. A comparison with past cases in the Kingdom of Kaum and the Kingdom of Lax would also bear witness to the fact that there is much in common in the actions of the oak… In future it is necessary to note that: One, a search for the Demons. Needless to say, this is the elimination of the danger of releasing the demonic tribe that can serve demons into the wild. Two, an investigation of the way out around Fort Toa. This suggests that there is a route through the Aquila Mountains from the behaviour of this oak, the route of movement of the orc and orga herds discovered ten years ago, i.e. in the history of Tria 3007, in order to consider that an investigation should be carried out around Fort Toa, which is the most risky and relatively easy to investigate…'

In addition, it was described as infiltrating Kwaedam Tenebre, the land of the Demon Nation, to collect information, to subsidize research expenses to Demon Nation and Dark Attribute Magic Researchers, to organize existing information and to share information.

(Wow. This isn't a report written by a fifteen-year-old girl, this... I knew Sharon was a genius...)

After reading the report, I will work for Sharon.

"It's perfect. He writes better than I do. That's Sharon."

That's what I say and stroke my head as usual.

Sharon looked embarrassed and said, "Thank you,"

"I've been thinking and writing about what Zach would think."

"Really? I was impressed to read about information gathering and sharing."

When I said that, I shook my head small and sideways and replied, "You said information was important when I was in fifth grade..."

(You do remember saying that after the “old general” class. With that said, I think Sharon was reading the tactical theory, too. Maybe you remembered that...)

When I was five years old, I had a class as a serving magician, and the lecturer was Joshua Metcalf, a former court magician known as the "Old General”. Metcalf taught tactics that stuck only to his own experience, and he was stunned by it and made a tactical theory moddle, but he seemed to remember the story then.

After adding the facts confirmed yesterday in the village of Thysek, it was the report of Sharon and my joint name. I would have preferred Sharon alone, but I thought it would have been more credible to put my name in terms of visibility.

The next day, he deposited his report with the Thornblow branch of the Adventurer's Guild and asked mercenary and commercial guilds to give him copies.

That night, Liddy got sweeter than usual.

When I asked him why, he answered with a crying face, "I'm afraid you're not going to be you," and he stuck strong.

I said, "I'm fine," and I hugged him back,

"There's Liddy. And Beatrice, Mel, Sharon, Dan... as long as everyone's here, we'll be fine."

That's what I said and held him tight again.
