Dream Life

Episode XXIII: The Ladies of Lockhart

Tria history March 22, 2018.

The morning after the welcoming feast of the blacksmiths in Wellburn ended quickly and clapped out.

morning training, and after breakfast, relaxing time was flowing. But that peaceful time was broken by the Dwarf blacksmiths who suddenly appeared.

My predecessor, Govan, my father-in-law, Masaias, was abducted by the blacksmiths… No, because he went to the workshop with the blacksmiths.

I, Me, Rosalind Lockhart, could only dismiss it.

Seeing that sight, things suddenly came to my mind since I came to this village. I'm not sure why that came to mind, but I'm going to ask Zach, who knows later.

More than six months have already passed since I came here to the village of Rasmore. From the very beginning, I started with my mother-in-law, my father-in-law, and my predecessor, Govan, all of whom were gentle and not dissatisfied at all. Of course, my husband Rodrick is kind and always watches over me.

As soon as I got here, what I started doing is cooking, sewing and other back jobs, as well as swordsmanship and equestrian training.

I was educated to an unabashedly degree as a borderline uncle about cooking and sewing, but it was just the first time and I was often confused. Still, helped by stepmother and maid chief Molly, as the daughter-in-law of the Lockhart family, little by little, I am entrusted with the task.

As for swordsmanship, at first I was anxious to keep up with the Rockhart family's rigorous training. But not only me, but Angelica Colridge, the samurai, and Elena, Eleanor Masefield, little by little, are ready to go about training.

Of course, we have not yet been able to participate in the kind of intense training that the squire will conduct. Still, I have the pride of being trained more intensely than the Northern Governor's Office Army training in Wellburn.

In fact, I have broken my arm bones twice in the last six months and each time I have been treated by my brother-in-law, Zach. If my father, Uncle Hubert Raswell, hears about it, he might graduate. Even I was nicknamed "The Princess of the Old Lady," because there was nothing like a huge injury.

Angie and Elena are equally injured, but each time Zach or Lydia treats them, they don't even leave a trace.

We're women too, so I'm still concerned about scars. The fact that that concern is gone may also be the reason why we can invest in the training of swordsmanship. I can't say this out loud though.

Thanks also to that, my swordsman level has risen by two, to level twenty. Even mercenaries and adventurers of men about twenty years older than me often don't reach level twenty, so I secretly think I can be proud of them.

Of course, in the Lockhart family, it's not at all a level you can be proud of at about level twenty. Even the sorcerer Sharon has the same twenty swordsman levels even though he is younger than me, and his brother-in-law, Theophilus, who is only ten years old, and his sister-in-law, Seraphine, have risen two levels in the past six months, to sixteen.

Mr. Sharon's story has come out, so I'm just going to derail a little.

It is often noted by Molly that Ms. Sharon Jakes is the daughter of her squire Guy Jakes and the wife of a Lockhart family man, whom I call "Mr.”.

Each time, "Mr. Sharon will be my sister-in-law one of these days," but the squire and his wives still won't convince me. The other Melissa Marron calls her "Mr. Mel," but she will be given the same attention.

Molly and the others are calling Lydia and Beatrice the same, so there's something I'm not convinced of. One of these days, you're all going to be Mr. Zach's wife, so I think you should get used to it.

Happy days, but these past seven months have been a series of surprises.

First of all, the most surprising thing is that you told me Mr. Zach's “secret”. I had a faint feeling, too, but I was so surprised that I even forgot to blink at the story that it was a soul older than my father, and that it was also from another world. Because you never dreamed I'd be involved in a mythical story.

My husband is a serious personality, so I could hear him without pinching his mouth to the end because he's a person who doesn't tell any of those kinds of jokes, but if he hadn't told me, I wouldn't even have seriously heard him say it was an absurd joke.

Not only me, but Angie and Elena were surprised to hear from their husbands, but I am grateful to my husband, and stepfather, for trusting them both. It's hard to keep such a big secret from two good friends, because I believe they will always help.

The next surprise is that we have a richer life than we thought. I came from a city like Wellburn to a peripherally situated territory, so I didn't think it was possible to live like I've lived before, at least. I've been ready to marry you with that, but that came off in a good direction.

Of course, it doesn't mean a luxurious life. The Lockhart family's home style has nothing to do with a beautiful life, as it is designed to be qualitatively rigid and qualitative. But life here may be more luxurious than Wellburn in a way.

This is why, first of all, meals are delicious and their repertoire is extensive. The Welburn Castle meal was also deserving of the Borderline Uncle family, but there were many dishes here that I didn't know about. It was Mr. Zach who thought about it, telling Molly about the previous world dish and having it reproduced.

Not only that, but the combination of alcohol and cuisine is restrained, allowing that gastronomer Viscount Ignacious Radford to cook enough to roar. Many of the ingredients were also taken fresh in the village, and the wild birds that the hunters who went out to scout the woods get are flavored with sauces that Mr. Zach doesn't restrain, and they're really delicious.

It fits perfectly into a large bath that has become a specialty of the village of Rasmore, both outside the cuisine. A well-cooled beer, especially if you take a bath, gives you a moment of bliss.

I also seem to be beginning to be influenced by Mr. Zach, all about food and drinks, but there are other reasons why I can live a comfortable life.

That is very convenient for Mr. Zach to make magic props. The most convenient of its demonic props is the "faucet” attached to the well.

I'm not sure how it works, but if you let magic flow through the magic props, a litre or so of water comes out of the faucet. Very useful when washing your hands or rinsing your mouth. Normally, the water stored is covered with a pattern, so one hand is blocked, but it is very convenient to use both hands.

I asked Mr. Zach what kind of magic prop it was, he said, "Attach a blowing magic prop to a double cylinder, raise the outer barometric pressure and push up the inner water," which you explained in the painting, but I didn't really understand.

I'll change the story, my samurai Angie and Elena, but it feels like “spring” is coming for them too.

Angie has recently often seen herself with Sim Marron, her husband's squire knight. She is also twenty-one this year, and as a baroness, she is said to be “late” and cares.

Sims doesn't stand out hiding from her husband and Mr. Zach, but he was also a well-known swordsman in the Northern Governor's office, and most importantly, he thinks he deserves respect as a “knight”. It seems to me that loyalty and honor are aimed at a true knight.

Angie seems to like that, too, and when she finds time, she talks under a tree in the training ground. He's as handsome as his husband, so I'm advising Angie to push him away from herself.

Of course, it doesn't mean I have a lot of romantic experience either. But no one in the Lockhart family can advise you on this hand story. Zach, who is dating two beautiful women, also doesn't seem to like these topics, as my husband used to say, and they get away with it quickly.

This is another samurai, Elena, but this one also seems to be often with her squire, Dan Jakes. Compared to Angie, this one seems to be folded inside.

Dan seems to have always liked Mr. Mel, and even if he wished Mr. Zach and Mr. Mel would be together, he still can't seem to break his thoughts.

Elena seems to have been fascinated by his journey like that, but Dan often goes to the woods, and even if she's in Kanga Hill, she's either training, or she's with the Zacks, and the opportunity for her to talk doesn't come around inside.

Unlike Angie, Elena is only seventeen, just like me, and Dan is just as much, so I don't think she needs to be in such a hurry. This one looks like Mr. Zach is taking care of the intervals well, and seems to have inducted Elena to coach him during morning and evening training.

Angie is a baroness, Elena is also a martial fame, a Maysfield family courtier, so it may be difficult to daughter-in-law to the Rockhart family minister, a knight. But if you two want it, I want to make it happen for you, even with your father's help.

Everyone in the Lockhart family was more casual and quickly broken down, but the only person who had difficulty speaking was Mr. Lydia.

Now it's time to call me “Mr. Lydia," but I felt a little cold and couldn't crack it inside. When I talked to my husband, he said, "Mr. Lydia doesn't like hanging out with anyone but her“ family. "In time, Rosalie will also be recognized as a" family, "and she didn't do anything specific.

I don't know what to do when they say family. I had no choice but to talk to Zach and he didn't take me as seriously as my husband did, "You don't have to worry, Liddy thinks she's a" family ”about her sister-in-law.

"I'd really like to be your friend," he asked further, telling me, "If that means anything, I think you should talk to him subtly when you're drinking," he told me.

"That's who you're going to be Mr. Zach's wife. After all, that means you have good alcohol," Mr. Zach smiled bitterly and looked like he was in trouble. I'm not going to say anything particularly troublesome.

At that time, I asked, "When, will you be officially married", a good opportunity. Because I myself was wondering when Mr Lydia and Mr Beatrice would officially be sister-in-law.

Mr. Zach turned off his grin and replied, "Now is the time…" with a little mouthful of mouth, "Because I have a mission".

"But then you don't know when? If you ask further," I know that... "you get an answer that won't boil off.

"Anyway, Mr. Lydia has something to do with Mr. Beatrice. Shouldn't it be better to be decided early? I just told him." Mr. Zach had an indescribable look, but said nothing more.

Lydia and I were thrilled to talk about the sparkling wine Zach made, and thanks to that, we were able to break it down. I'm also getting along with Mr. Beatrice then. Again, you both loved good alcohol.

This is Mr. Beatrice, but this year, he's going to be thirty-six. I'm the same age as my mother-in-law, and you both look like mid twenties, but I was particularly surprised when we took a bath together.

After finishing my evening training, I would go sweat with Mr. Mel and Mr. Sharon, but that's when I was surprised to see Mr. Beatrice's body.

My husband Rod has a small scar all over his body because of his rigorous training and actual combat. Yet Mr. Beatrice had no scratchy wounds for fighting demons for twenty years as an awesome adventurer. On the contrary, even though I train spears outside every day, I had really clean skin with no sunburn stains.

When I asked him about it, he gave me a slightly shy look and said, "Oh, Zach erased all the old wounds. I really think that kid's healing magic is amazing," he replied.

And about the sunburn, he said, "The same goes for the sunburn. I had terrible sunburn on my face, neck and arms before I joined Zach, but healing magic heals me. I'm losing my wrinkles because of that," he told me with a laugh.

I thought so, but my mother-in-law had heard the story, and she said, "I didn't hear that. Even though I'm concerned about the twitching in my eyes," he was outraged.

Because of that, it looks like Mr. Zach's work has increased since the next day. Every day, I began to hang healing magic on the faces of my mother-in-law and my squire wives.

I'm also a woman, so I'm interested in beauty, but I wondered if I could use the magic of a precious healer for such a thing.

A healer, especially a good healer like Mr. Zach, is very valuable. Even Welburn Castle was told that the healer's magic would be kept as warm as possible in case of unforeseen circumstances. Nor does Master Govan, who is always prepared for danger, say anything in particular about this. I was so curious, I asked my husband.

"At first it was like my mother was going to joke too. But Zach said," I don't use magic that much. I know it can be difficult every day, but I'll do it if I have time. "I got it on a light note."

"How much is the magic of a healer valuable, even if you are okay with it? Didn't Master Govan or his stepfather say anything about that?" I asked further.

Then my husband replied with a laugh, "I will never lose my magic, only for Zach, and I will definitely leave you with what you need," he replied. Ladies and gentlemen, you seem to trust Mr. Zach, and you don't seem to say any details.

I asked Zach himself, "It's really okay. If it was for one person, I would only use about a thousandth of the entire magic. That's about it, because if you lie down for a minute or two, you'll recover quickly," he told me in specific numbers.

That's when Mr. Zach remembered that God gave him the power to see his abilities as a number.

If I did know the rest of the magic, and if I knew how much to use, I wouldn't run out of magic at times of need, but I thought again that I was really out of standard.

I have also recently received Mr. Zach's healing magic - which you yourself have said is “face care” - as well. I don't really feel that much, but my husband says, "My skin is cleansed," so I think it's cleansed.

Both Mel and Sharon seemed to have their healing magic hanging, just like me, especially Mel, who was very happy with the scuffle but disappeared.

I'm that Mel, but I've never seen things change as much during training and otherwise as she does. Even his opponent, Mr. Zach, who is so in love in training, shows a fierce attack that fights his parents' enemies. Mr. Zach is equally serious, but he still seems to be only a little reluctant.

I asked Mel about that, but I was struck by the strength of her thoughts.

"I have to be strong to protect that one. I need to train with different types of people to do that. Nicholas, who uses shields, Byron, who is big and powerful, Walt, who uses spears... but Master Zach is not like the others. I'm good at avoiding it, and I've used a lot of hands. So in order to be strong, I have to point the wooden sword at Master Zach... and..."

So Mr. Mel mumbled. I said, "And?," he replied with a slightly shy look.

"This is what Master Zach said.“ I'm in trouble if Mel doesn't call me to kill me, too, to make me stronger. "And you always say that one.“ Anything but instant death ”. Master Zach would really do something about it. So I'm gonna keep my word and I'm gonna put my sword to the ground."

And I said, "But I really don't like it. If I let you get hurt badly......" I lay my eyes down and added in a small voice.

"You really like Mr. Zach," Mel said, turning bright red. But I answered yes in a firm tone.

My husband told me that Mr. Mel had been under that demanding Govan archery since he was five years old, but I couldn't imagine how I could get that far.

Even adult men, no, are rigorously trained to make even regular knights sound. I wonder why a girl who doesn't go old enough to do that, but I finally convinced myself after talking to her.

I'm also talking to Sharon, another childhood tame woman from Mr. Zach. She doesn't attend the vigilante training, but she does attend the morning and evening Lockhart family training.

My husband also told me that Mr. Sharon is the second seat at that Tilia School of Magic and is such a good mage that he was invited by a famous professor to be his assistant when he graduated.

Zach, who is called a genius, often says, "Sharon is more of a genius than I am. I'm not only a genius, I'm a hard worker," I rate it at will.

It was strange that she was participating in the Lockhart family training. I knew why right away.

He said it was a famous story in this house, and that when he first went into the woods and fought wild dogs, he started learning the sword so that he wouldn't pull your legs at all because his legs were trembling and he couldn't move. I was really surprised to hear that the “first time" was only eight years old.

Mr. Sharon is a grown man, and if he dresses normally, he can only look like a poor girl who can't even kill bugs. How the word "lady” seems to fit better than me and others who kept being called your wife, and ordinary people will never realize you're an adventurer. I was surprised that I wanted to have a sword at just eight years of age.

And I've been even more surprised about Mr. Sharon.

That was a relationship with the blacksmith guild and the merchants. Ms. Sharon often talks to Jonathan Water, who is seconded by the Blacksmith Guild.

At first I thought you might be helping Mr. Zach, but apparently you're negotiating on his behalf. I saw you talking to Henry Norton, the merchant for the Lockhart family, a few times, so I guess Zach left it to you.

Your father said he was no match for Mr. Zach in negotiating matters, and Baron Ferdinand Oldham, the housekeeper, said the same thing, so replacing Mr. Zach means he has that much ability. I thought it was really amazing. Because I can't do it at all.

Less than a full moon after coming to this village, Mr. Zach's opponent, Mr. Luna, came to the village to guide him. Not only me, but Dear Govan, my father-in-law was amazed.

It must be caused by demons attacking the village where they were born and raised and feeling death close. Zach and the others saved my hair in an instant, but when I came here, my heart was in a situation like death from grief.

I can't imagine the sadness of losing not only my family, but all the people I know.

My mother-in-law seems to care all the time and often goes to see me. I'm going to see him the same way, but he was still in shock, and after six months he still doesn't open his heart to us at all.

The situation is that we are only marginally open to Mel and Sharon, who live and care for us.

I am worried about how this young child will relate to the enemies of the gods in the future. Mr. Zach's story says he doesn't know if he fights directly with “the person who will be the key," but the other person is an enemy that even God fears. If I were in Mr. Luna's shoes, I would run away. I find it truly pitiful that even if the present situation improves, we are only waiting for such a future.

Mr Zach seems to think the same thing about this, but he has said nothing. Just one, silently building a fence and seemingly figuring out how to fight against the enemy to come.

All I can do is raise my swordsmanship arm a little bit, enough to be Mr. Luna's last fortress. If I can protect her, Mr. Zach and the others can fight it out.

When I told my husband about it, he said, "I'm glad Rosalie said that. I need everyone to figure out what they can do," he said and gave me a gentle hug.

At this time, I felt like I could be a true member of the Lockhart family.

With that said, I asked Mr Zach why he remembered this.

Mr. Zach was tilting his neck for a moment, not knowing what he was talking about, but he laughed right out and couldn't stop laughing inside, apologizing "excuse me," but fitting into the laughing stump.

You managed to laugh and said, "That's self-defense instinct," you said. I said, "Is it self-defense instinct?" When I asked him back, "I think my mind refused to admit it because I saw something I shouldn't have seen," he told me.

And he said, "I think you had trouble seeing the look on your father's face with your uncle. Maybe we both had confused expressions, no, pitiful faces," he added.

"Yes, indeed... I've never seen a famous Govan as a hero look like that. I feel like I've been asked to help..."

I do feel like Govan and his father-in-law's expression at that time was asking for help rather than confusion. I also felt like I was being reached out to me...... I could only honestly return a grin to Zach's explanation that it was impossible and that my heart refused on its own.
