Dream Life

Episode XXII: Unexpected Behavior

A feast began welcoming Dagenhardt Grabsch and the other Wellburn blacksmiths. When the banquet begins, our Zach Sextet faces who went to Wellburn with the Dwarves warm up the old relationship.

Beatrice, the alcoholic in particular, continues to drink his secret ale at the same pace as Dwarf, waving his thick tiger tail and in a mood. Also, with a long life in Welburn, his brother Rodrick and sibling Rosalee were enjoying the latest information on Welburn.

Even more back in the day, Nicholas Garland and Hector Marron, who had served in the military at Wellburn with their grandfather, seemed to find a nostalgic face among the blacksmiths, juggling alcohol in a soothing way.

I forgot to mention, surprisingly (...), the Dwarves were self-regulating Scotch to a jock (...).

The Scotch during the stay was to be provided by the Lockhart family, assuming that five or six cups per person would drink today that means a welcome feast, even though they had one quarterbarrel - about one hundred twenty litres - available.

per dwarf, about five liters of scotch, that is, just over six full bottles. It's already weird at this point in the calculation, but we were poisoned by Dwarf common sense and no one thought it was weird at this time.

In addition to that, seven barrels were prepared for each day of drinking, one for a jock, or five days.

But Deggenhardt declared, "Until we convinced the Ars, we'd turn down the liquor." He refused our recommendation.

When I first heard it, I thought it was wrong to hear it.

The fact that Dwarves have booze in front of them but don't get their hands on it is the same, no, even more rooted, act that starving wolves don't jump on fresh meat in front of them, such as grass seeking sunlight stretching branches beneath the ground, an act that clearly defies nature's management.

But when I asked why, I heard something surprisingly convincing.

Truth be told, after a tour and tasting of the distillery liquor reservoir, he asks me to show him our martial arts, showing off everyone's martial arts. At that time, he groaned, "Do we have to make something beyond this..." and looked at our weapons so much that he thought the hole might be empty. He had the serious and gloomy eyes of the Dagenhardts at that time. It was such a strong shock.

Especially Me and Mel's sword, namely the sword by Ulrich Drexler, the master craftsman, and Mel and Beatrice's gauge notebook Chain Mail, were a view for the substitute hands of the twenty-five Dwarves, all of whom were leaking a sigh of admiration.

"This guy is Ulrich, Gaelnote's greatest masterpiece... I need to get my temper back on track..." it was impressive that everyone was nodding at Dagenhardt's whining.

In other words, the reason they declared "no alcohol” was "craftsmanship."

The highest craftsmen in the world made the greatest masterpieces. And we have to go beyond that. I'd almost give up if it was a normal feeling, but I didn't have the option to give up on the Dwarves, a mass of artisan souls. It's just that the strong will to set their fighting spirit on fire and let it go beyond led them to "turn down the booze” action.

This is my interpretation, but maybe I'm simply burning my fighting spirit for the "liquor-zack collection”.

Technically, I'm not totally turning down alcohol.

Even today, in addition to a glass of Scotch jock, or a bottle, I drink ale, beer, and wine to bathe.

And I usually drink "non-Scotch liquor" after tomorrow. It's strange to call it "turning down booze," but Dwarf doesn't drink it even though Scotch is within reach.

By their (Dwarf) standards, they would be turning down alcohol sufficiently. For them, there can be no stronger statement of determination.

"Today's minute is a pastime after the last skill assessment meeting, and I would appreciate it if you would give me a minute from today," said Dagenhardt. That way you can drink it so you can take a bath, "he added.

I couldn't help but laugh at the word "drink" after I finished, but there were more things I didn't know. That's the same with my father, "Fun?" He leaned his neck and asked me, "Are you asking me?"

I say, "No, nothing."

Then Jonathan Water suddenly rose. And then, looking at my father and me, he said, "To tell the truth, we are planning to compare the drinking of branded liquor in each country as a pastime for the assessment meeting".

"Of course, I'm arranging that prep, the cook," he adds.

"Ulrich's, no, is the master craftsman's permission out there," I asked, holding my temples down with too much skill.

Johnny said with a serious look, "We've already got approval from the master craftsman. It has also been communicated to the branches of each country," he replied, bowing his head deeply, "to divide it with a blacksmith's guild, so I was neglecting to tell you. I'm so sorry," I apologize.

While my father gave me a puzzled look, he admitted, "If the guild is going to open, I don't care..." but I could hear him whining small, "Are you okay?" I didn't ask because I didn't feel like asking what was okay, but myself, I didn't see a very good future, and I was whining in my heart, "Are you okay?"

When the interaction with the Lockhart family comes to a paragraph, we move on to the topic of Heinz and Marc, who are coming to learn to manufacture distillers from Blacksmiths, Kurt and Doris and Ars from Nature and Wellburn.

Kurt is the son of Dagenhardt and will be thirty-four this year. He apprenticed to Beltram to learn to manufacture distillers here in the village of Lasmore. Doris is similarly apprenticed to learn to manufacture distillers.

According to Beltram's story, Kurt was also under the guidance of Dagenhardt, who was highly educated as a blacksmith and had already almost mastered the manufacture of distillers. We are now working with Scott and other distillers to further improve the distiller.

Doris is still twenty-one years younger and sometimes not as foundational (based) as Kurt, and has learned from the basics of metalworking. Of course, Dwarf means he has far better arms than an ordinary blacksmith's apprenticeship and is entrusted with the repair of martial arts.

Heinz and Marc, both from Ars, are in their early forties and are blacksmiths who have accumulated a splendid mustache called Parent Class sufficiently if only in appearance. The middle class from the knees of the Alliance headquarters, so much so that they already have first-class arms and are entrusted with the care of their grandfather's weapon, which Beltram is usually always in charge of.

These two, but have been dispatched here to the village of Rasmore to beat a very high competitive rate. Johnny told me that when he recruited hopefuls to go to Lasmore Village for middle-class blacksmiths in the thirties and fifties, more than five hundred blacksmiths, including nearby cities, raised their hands.

The narrow gate selection method was two hundred and fifty times that, but it was even simpler. Distiller manufacturing required thin copper plates to be processed, so we competed for the processing technique. Of course, the subject matter was not a distiller, but a full-body armor, Full Plate Armor, which competed for an arm that skillfully processed and finished Als copper plates.

The referees were veteran armorers, starting with the legendary armorer Gaelnotebook, who made my armor, Georg Stoke who made Liddy and Dan's armor, Wood Ravengart who made Sharon's armor, Luc Broich who made Sharon's armor, and many other artisans known to the world for how many things they missed, with their eyes like plates.

I've asked Heinz how things were at that time, but his answer was, "I don't think I've ever seen a gael notebook master so serious about what a young man made. I speak to myself at my work, but I couldn't help but wonder..." he told me by hand.

Usually, the Dwarf blacksmiths have little to say about what their disciples make. The artisanal temperament of “stealing” the moves makes it so, but it seems that all this time, without any compromise, a careful check was carried out.

I haven't heard it because I don't have to ask why, but the laughter comes in when I imagine those extravagant gauge notes dishing my eyes and checking them out in detail, but it didn't seem like a pleasure to those who were checked.

I forgot to mention, it's limited to the middle class because when the parent class participates, they can't have clear advantages and disadvantages, so Ulrich Drexler, the master craftsman, restricted the participation of 300 parents.

Marc told me about it, but he said, "I heard about it, and the master craftsman said," If we don't put limits on it, it will rain blood. "If the parents did raise their hands, it wouldn't work in January or February to decide".

By the way, their competition (competition) was only a month from recruitment to vetting. Arms and guts that made full body armor out of a material called copper that I don't normally use for protective equipment in that short period of time, no, obsession with alcohol is not the norm.

I don't have to ask this either. I know, but the reason as many as five hundred blacksmiths applied was that Scotch could drink in the village of Rasmore. Because only the parents can drink Scotch in Ars today, we applied that if we came here, we could drink Scotch ourselves. Of course, there would certainly have been curiosity about the new technology. Even if it was extremely minor.

These four return to their respective cities after two years of training. To welcome the distillers who completed their training about a year later, but it is no exaggeration to say that these four hold the key to distilled liquor making in each city.

Although the distiller itself is a simple structure cauldron, the quality of distilled liquor varies greatly depending on the distiller, such as heat conduction and steam leakage (leak).

If we are close to the village of Rasmore, we can count on the help of the leading distiller builder, Beltram, but only ourselves, hundreds of kilometres away.

The four of them also fully understand the matter, finding between the care of the martial arts, visiting the distillery and learning the basics of distillation, while exchanging views with the craftsmen.

The interest of Dagenhardt and others was also concentrated there, "What do you think? Do you think you can do the distiller" Pot Still "" was also seen stuffed by my son. The other blacksmiths surround Kurt and Doris and ask about the prospects.

In front of his father and senior year, did Kurt also have a hard time answering, and he said with a cramped face, "I'm fine. I will definitely remember to go home" so it seems to be the best. It's too pitiful to give out a help boat.

"Kurt and Doris have good taste. I'm asking the Scots how it affects the taste of Scotch. I remember exactly what each shape of the distiller will taste like and how changing it will affect the taste."

When I say that, "Does that mean these guys drink Scotch every day..." Dägenhardt roars. Apparently my way of saying it is bad and my consciousness has gone to those who see the taste of Scotch.

I smiled bitterly and said, "I'll have a look at it tomorrow, but the distillers are in very different shapes. I can't make delicious liquor without remembering each characteristic. I'll vouch for this," he convinced me once and for all, "if Zach says so, I guess it's necessary.

"I would have liked to have done this training too," I didn't miss a whimpering voice.

Less than an hour after the feast begins, cheerful singing begins to wrap up the assembly room. It's a toast song I've heard in Wellburn, but about thirty Dwarves sing with all their strength, so much so that my ears hurt. Still, cheerful is more fun for me too, so I'm not particularly concerned.

The song ended and the conversation started again.

I asked Degenhardt what I was concerned about. That's what my grandfather and father's weapons look like.

The Dagenhardts are also blacksmiths with first-class arms. Still, it doesn't extend to the legendary blacksmiths in Ars, Ulrich the Sword, Gaelnotes the Armor, etc.

"My grandfather and father are determined by bastard, but the material is the same as my brother's sword and is it misrilled?" When asked, "Dagenhardt shook his head," It's Adamantite this time, "he said," I've only made shapes in our workshop, but it's rebuilt. If you use this workshop furnace, it won't even reach Ulrich's feet, "he replies.

Adamantite is a very hard metal with a high melting point and requires a dedicated furnace for processing. However, the material Adamantite is rarely used outside of Ars, where the headquarters are located, and there is no dedicated furnace, even in the large city of Welburn. This time they remodeled the furnace in Branch Manager Dagenhardt's workshop and managed to do the machining.

"You and Mel's sword are endowed with three attributes. With my arms now, two attributes are the limit... but I have a secret."

It is said that Ulrich and Gaelnote are the only ones who can currently (...) attribute three attributes to a single weapon even if they look at the whole world. Of course, some magic props combine four attributes, but due to the structural constraints of a weapon, it is difficult to install many of the magic crystal stones needed to activate the magic.

It is made possible by the use of high quality demonic crystal stones that can be picked from second-degree equivalent or higher demons, and by drawing even more special magic formations. Gaelic note chainmails are also plated in the neck area, where the Demonic Crystal Stone is mounted and the magic formation is depicted.

"A secret? What kind of a secret?" When I asked, "Dägenhardt laughed niggardly and just said," Do a little creativity to the magic formations that pass on to the Grabush family, "he didn't tell me clearly.

Dwarf blacksmiths can pass on their moves from their master to their disciples in oral communication. Especially since they belong to secret moves about grant magic, they can't teach them until they are alone and independent.

The magic formations used by the blacksmiths are so complicated that even Professor Rionel Raspade, the authority of the magic props, is hard to read, and there are many parts of me that look at the magic formations of my sword, but still don't know what it means.

Rationally, it should work in simple magic formations as well, but it's a cause I can't figure out that it adds complex features to increase output or prevent interference with other attributes.

Dagenhardt himself, only (...) is over eighty years old, an age that can be described as young when compared to the parent class of the total headquarters. In addition, there is more production of a land pattern called Wellburn, the Knights standard equipment, and not much of a magic sword.

In other words, empirically, it would belong to the lower class among the parent classes of Ars. I was wondering what “secret” he had in mind, but then I knew, so I said, "I'm looking forward to it" and I didn't try to force myself to ask.

We were talking about that, but two hours after the start of the feast, Dägenhardt stood up. When our Lockhart family was in doubt, we suddenly began to say hello.

"Govan, Matt. Have a welcome feast today, thank you," he bowed his head. And then he goes up to me and Scott and says, "Zach collection, it was delicious,"

"I'm sorry, but this is the feast I want to open for you today! It's gonna get in the way of work from tomorrow!" Declaring, "he bows his head to his grandfather," a welcome feast in the corner, but let us pull it up with this ".

I couldn't hide my surprise. Only a small amount of alcohol was consumed for the Dwarves. Although of course it is their standard even in small quantities, with one barrel of ale, empty.

Surprisingly, the tour of the distillery scheduled for tomorrow was also "after everything. Until then, I will strike the sword with my whole body" and I have said no.

Plus, "I'm sorry, but Govan and Matt want you to show your face a few times a day. Of course, between jobs. It shouldn't take that long either," he bowed his head again. The other dwarves bow their heads to match it.

My grandfather replied, "I will show my face if I wish during the vigilante's training..." and accepted with the same conditionality that my father should do so among his duties.

However, there was a look similar to confusion on their faces. I guess I have a bad feeling from the Dwarves who are showing enough motivation to cut up the banquet early.

Perhaps the hunch is right. In Ars, Ulrich and other celebrities spend several days all night thanking Zach for his collection. There's more motivation than that this time. Naturally, my grandfather and father will remain in captivity because we strive for perfection. But given Dwarf's obsession with alcohol, he doesn't have the option to say no to his grandfathers.

I felt sorry for my grandfathers in my heart.

(My father and I both feel Dwarf's obsession with alcohol. It'll be tough, but this time, fortunately, I'm irrelevant. I had a bad feeling when I heard about the drinking comparison, but Johnny's partitioning it for me, and the Dagenhardts are here, but my life wouldn't be so different. Well, I guess when the Ulrich and the others get here, they'll be able to relax for a month or so......)
