Dream Life

Lesson 25: Unexpected Visitors

Tria history April 20, 2018.

The Weapon Buildings of the Dagenhardts ended yesterday evening.

I'm critical, but I seem to have something satisfied, and yesterday I'm emptying a barrel of Scotch because of the previous celebration.

Less than five litres per person, in a bottle, would be drinking five bottles of whiskey. Ordinary humans would die of acute alcoholism, but the Dwarves are a race unrelated to alcoholism. I was still having a fine breakfast with one hand of beer this morning, and there was not a single person with a spicy expression or anything like that.

Well, if Dwarf was hungover, you might be more surprised.

Changing the story, I think the Dägenhardts have done well with the finishing touches of their grandfathers sword and armor and even their brother Mithril's sword and a slight period of one month. The Ulrich of Ars were for a shorter period of time, but this was also my first attempt, and it should have been a harder task than I imagined. He says it like any other HR, but he's secretly relieved that we're finally free, too.

Today is the day the blacksmiths from the headquarters and branches come to this village. It is no wonder that the blacksmiths of Fortis, the land of mercenaries, the Imperial capital Plimus, who joined together at the General Headquarters in Ars, are to arrive today, as are the blacksmiths of Periclitle and Doctus, who come from the opposite side of Ars Street.

There was a reason for this.

Originally, the Periclitle and Doctus blacksmiths had arrived in the neighbouring town of Kilnarek three days earlier, and only yesterday could they have arrived here in the village of Rasmore. But even when I come to this village, the Wellburn blacksmiths are desperately working, and I don't feel comfortable drinking Scotch - they declare that they won't drink Dwarf stream sobriety, or Scotch, until today, which is due in Kilnarek - so they waited until today. They say this was negotiated by Alliance clerk Jonathan Water to get the Wellburne blacksmiths to concentrate on their work.

I think you're still a struggler, but I'm impressed with you that the Dwarves are waiting a lot.

First thing in the morning my grandfather leads thirty vigilantes to pick me up at Bogwood, the border town on the side of the Kingdom of Kaum. Me and my brother Rod, plus Dan, will accompany you.

The Kilnarek side has no problem because the mercenaries hired by their respective branches provide escorts, but because the blacksmiths from the General Headquarters coming from the south were protected by five hundred elite, Black Steel Knights of the Kaum kingdom.

Although a friendly country cannot accept five hundred fully armed knights, the main reason being that the Village of Rasmore vigilante will take over the escort, there were also circumstances in which the population could not be accommodated because when five hundred knights enter the village of Rasmore they will be nearly doubled at once.

This event has caught the attention of the merchants of the Kingdom of Kaum and the Union of Urban States - a coalition joined by the commercial city of Aurelia, the city of Adventurers, the academic city of Doctus, and others - and offers constant hope of a tour. In addition to nearly a hundred Dwarves, it is joined by more than a hundred people in the company and escorts of the general headquarters, branches.

Even though this is completely over the capacity of the Rasmore Village Inn, it's a good idea to even come to the merchants. So I tried to get Kilnarek to stay and come on a day trip, but the merchants were very disapproved and the complaint was coming because it would take nearly three hours one way on the carriage as well.

So I decided to consult with Nicholas Garland, my servant in charge of Home Affairs, and ask him to stay at the private house, but the carriage alone will be nearly two hundred kilometers long, stopping the carriage around the school in Kanga Hill, and the horse intends to respond by releasing it to the grazing land.

Its merchants, but it was one of the biggest events since the start of the Blacksmith Guild, and had come to sell to the Lockhart family beforehand. Particularly common was the sale of groceries. Rare foods from all over the country, such as Gilsall to the south, Periplus to the west, and Sartooth to the north, have brought in unusual ingredients from all over the world. That's also at a broken price.

I was hoping they would sell the liquor as well, but this time the blacksmith guild was telling the story of doing a comparison of each branch's drinking of liquor, and even more, it didn't seem to dare compete if it wasn't advertised when compared to the distilled liquor in the village of Rasmore.

The merchants who came to sell this time, but not the merchants of the commercial city of Aurelia. Because the streets of Aurelia are almost sealed off by the deterioration of security, but this time a large number of imperial merchants, especially those breathed by the Marquis of Seawell, are here. Of course, there are also merchants from Periclitle and Fonce, king capital of the Kingdom of Lax to the north, but there were overwhelmingly many merchants of the Empire.

Naturally, they're after connections with the Blacksmith Guild. This time there are few of the biggest rivals, Aurelia merchants. He doesn't miss this opportunity and seems to want to make a pipe with his blacksmith guild. In particular, this time, a large number of branch-manager classes from various countries will participate, as well as the general manager of the head office. I have offered the price of a deficit almost because I wish I could pass it on at all.

As for this one, I was initially going to admit that the event was going to be exciting, but almost every day in April, merchants visited and held their heads to too much. He was caught by Dagenhardt, both for my father and for me, and even though he didn't have time, he never stopped hoping to talk to me.

So he launched what would be the "Blacksmith Alliance Skills Assessment Board Executive Committee” and appointed Johnny as its secretary. Johnny, who has recently succeeded, has accepted without particular wolf, and has vigorously negotiated with the merchants. Sometimes, Sharon seems to be giving advice, but I think he's really succeeded.

Although this event venue initially contemplated the Kanga Hill school as the main venue, almost the same number of merchants were added to the two hundred guild officials, making it accommodatively impossible. Therefore, it was decided to make the meadow north of Kanga Hill an outdoor venue. We will need tents, chairs, etc., but the merchants are almost ready by noon yesterday because of their active preparation. As for the cooking area, it's just like Welburn's outdoor banquet, in time by making kamado and so on with my magic.

Under the command of my grandfather, a ridden vigilante headed for the town of Bogwood and left.

The weather has been blessed since yesterday, with sunny weather reminiscent of early summer. When I go into the west woods, the leaking sun dazzles me and I feel like I'm going on a long ride.

Dan next door also manipulates the horse in a relaxed manner, "I'm glad the weather is good," he said. Normally even peaceful west woods don't relieve me of my guard, but by yesterday of course there shouldn't be one wild dog because I was thoroughly looking around the village for bandits targeting the merchants. Due to this sweep operation, vigilantes have largely remained in the woods over the past few days.

Still, no complaints were heard from the vigilantes. Three days from today is an event that can be described as a festival, because the reward of all-you-can-drink delicious liquor awaited without the rigorous training of my grandfather. Of course, there are those who turn to security, but only one day out of three days is allotted, and they don't think they'll get into security or other work compared to training or reconnaissance into the woods in the first place.

Continue your horse on the fast walk Trot, sounding the light sound of a hoof named Pacapaka through the long idle woods. There was no wagon to protect and we arrived in about two hours to the town of Bogwood.

He stops in front of the town of Bogwood and tells them that his grandfather and brother have come to pick him up at the main entrance. It seemed to have already been prepared, and soon the generals of the Black Steel Knights appeared.

The general was a mid-thirties knight dressed in heavy Ars steel armor. "My name is Baron Isador Roxbala and I belong to the Knights of Black Steel," he grinned, offering his grandfather his right hand.

There is no arrogance like the Earl of Granger, who has previously gone into trouble, and the strong but warm looking eyes on his bearded face are impressive.

When my grandfather and brother each greeted each other, they said from inside the gate, "It's been a long time!" I heard a nostalgic dra.

Ulrich Drexler, the blacksmith guild's master craftsman, and Gaelnote Graver, and even more so, Oigen and Georg.

And then he beats the basin with his hands that worked out around my waist. As always, I bitterly laugh that it's a rough welcome, but I shake hands by saying, "You've come a lot".

After an exchange of greetings with the Dwarves, he introduced his grandfather and brother and said, "Don't get in the way even if you're here. Let's get out of here. You're ready, aren't you?," Ulrich gave a slightly puzzled look, "No..." he mumbles uncommonly for the lavish.

As we tilt our necks, Baron Roxbala, with an equally puzzling look on his face, opens his mouth spicidly, saying, "Actually, there were other companions..."

"Who are the companions?" When my brother asked, an unexpected figure appeared from one carriage - a boxcarriage with a blacksmith's guild crest.

Good afternoon, Mr. Zach.

The person smiles and says so, approaching me. She looked like a good merchant's wife, a woman dressed in not fancy but tailored clothes.

"Your Highness, why..." said Dan and I, poking one knee, thanking the royal family.

My grandfather was surprised by the action and rushed to imitate it to us. My brother would similarly panic and poke his knee, but the vigilante behind him didn't know what to do and stood up.

"Oh, it's just Katie today. Stand up," but after worrying about what to do, look at Ulrich. Ulrich also seemed to have trouble figuring out how to answer, all he had to do was shake his head small and sideways.

(Why are you here? The Queen of One Country is very kind... Are you looking for the Zach collection... no matter how much it is, it shouldn't be there...)

I was forced to restrain my mind, disturbed by thousands, and I managed to get up. I look at my grandfather as if he wasn't disrespectful, but he gave up that there was no choice but to match the queen here.

"I'm out of time, Mr. Kati," he says with a convoluted grin and a welcome greeting, but I really add a word.

"I would have liked to have been contacted in advance, if possible. Wasn't Ulrich in trouble, too?

The queen uttered her tongue with a pelo, "I'm sorry. But if I say it first, they'll say no," he adds.

I said to my grandfather and brother, "Please stand up. Because that outfit stands out more," he cautions, additionally sending Ulrich a gaze of "what do you mean". Without waiting for Ulrich's answer, turn to Baron Roxbala.

"What shall I do with this Kati (...) escort? Can some come from the Knights?"

When asked that, Roxbala said, "I'll leave you to your house from here on out. We also have Your Majesty's permission," he replies.

Me and my grandfather, my brother would look at each other like what to do, but my grandfather would nod as small as you think.

(If anything happens to the queen of one country... I don't think anything will happen, just in case...)

"We can't guarantee Mr. Kati's safety at home. We are very sorry, but we refuse to enter Lockhart territory."

I have decided to decline the visit to the village of Rasmore in Queen Katrina. It is also a matter of not going through the formal diplomatic route in the first place and the Queen of one country visiting another, but knowing it and accepting it is beyond doubt for the Lockhart family. With that in mind, there can be no option of accepting the queen.

The queen looks at this one, crying and imitating, "Duh, how are you..." but this queen is not what she looks like. "I am so sorry," she repeats.

Did Ulrich sympathize with the way he looked, "I really can't? It's a couple of days," he said.

"All this is inadmissible unless the imperial court decrees. If you do it badly, the top noblemen in Imperial Capital may feel weird."

The Queen's safety is not all I fear. If the Lockhart family, who are nothing more than knights, are being greeted with the queen of neighboring countries, it is difficult to open them even if they are labeled rebels.

If you do poorly, you might say that around the Crown Prince and Prince of the Imperial Capital, who are dawning in a power struggle, will turn to the blacksmith guild for his influence and eat the territory.

How remote and in nominal terms, this is the territory of the Caerm Empire. Even if my father, the lord, should return the knight's title or something, he won't solve it with such a simple story.

Besides, I have Luna now.

Not only will the corner fortified Kanga Hill be taken away, but the vigilante by trusted residents will also be lost. Not for selfish reasons, but at least it makes sense for the Lockhart family to say no.

I was talking about that, and the queen had a relief look on her face and said, "You should have the imperial government's permission, right?"

Before I say anything, "Recently, through the Marquis Seawell, we received permission from officials of the Kingdom of Kaum to visit the village of Rasmore. Of course, on the condition that the army would not be allowed in," he said, retrieving documents bearing the Empire's crest.

I'm taking it.

"Kingdom officials...... sure, but be patient this time. Couldn't that be an official visit?

That's what I claim. Slightly blocked my words and said, "There's no official or informal distinction between arrangements with the Empire. I checked it myself, no doubt about it."

"But also for safety reasons…" he tries to say,

"There's no problem with that either. We have specified that the Empire bears no responsibility whatsoever. I mean, there's nothing to be said from the Empire."

As I held my temple, I remembered that I should not insult this queen.

(This queen looks like an aunt from eight hundred houses, but the contents were among the best politicians in the kingdom of Kaum... I guess she used this as an opportunity to convince the king to strengthen her pipe with the blacksmith guild... which means...)

"Are the suppliers bureaucrats," he confirms in a small voice.

The queen said, "That's Mr. Zach, isn't it? This time, a brilliant young bureaucrat is the star. You know, to make the law you taught me before," he chuckles.

I gave a piece of advice to the Royal Government of Kaum and the Blacksmith Guild, which Count Granger started last fall. That means developing a law for the Dwarves of the Blacksmith Guild and making the quality of distilled liquor the best in the world.

The Act refers to the Scotch Whisky Regulations for the maintenance of the quality of distilled liquor. Finally, the law is to maintain quality by clearly defining raw materials, manufacturing methods, maturation periods, etc., and making them comply with them.

So far, no distilled liquor has been made outside the village of Rasmore, but distilled liquor will be made in Ars and Welburn beyond this. And it should be built one after the other.

Beer and wine nowadays are not specifically provided for by law in manufacturing laws, only laws on liquor taxes exist. They are due to the large number of competitors. Low quality ones are naturally eliminated.

But distilled liquor is different. There is an overwhelming lack of supply to Dwarf blacksmiths with high purchasing power. In other words, it is likely to be distributed, including low-quality distilled liquor, something that cannot be called distilled liquor. To prevent this, I thought it would be quick to get the law chick shaped in the blacksmith guild's knee arse and spread it to countries through the guild's branches.

"If that's the case, I can't help it...... Dear Uncle, Brother, this is Kati, an associate of the Blacksmith Guild and“ just ”. That's what I'm asking you to do."

That's what I say. I bow my head to my grandfathers.

"Don't tell the mats properly," he agreed with the look on his face that his grandfather stabbed the nail but had no choice.

There are five bureaucrats accompanying Kati (...). Everyone is young and Otto Elwes, who is responsible for this one, is only twenty-four years old and has been promoted to head of law making. I heard about it later, but it meant he was a chivalrous civilian and an English genius who studied law and other things at Doctus' private school.

Although Gotagota was there before we left, we set out for the village of Rasmore with a carriage carrying Ulrich and other Dwarf blacksmiths.
