Dream Life

Lesson 35: After the Festival

Tria history April 22, 2018.

The first Blacksmith Skills Assessment Meeting and the Liquor Trade Review were successfully completed (...). It also leaves me wondering if I can use the word safe, but it's over without any major trouble anyway.

In the end, the banquet continued until all the barrels were emptied. It was the Dwarves and me, my father, my brother and Beatrice who drank until the end. Of course, Queen Katrina Brentwood is a dwarf frame.

We were the only ones drinking, but even more were awake. The cooks and the merchants overseeing them stayed up all night to eat food as well as drink.

Of course, all the guild staff stay up all night. They were doing various chores.

Sometimes it gets pretty cold at night in April. When the night breeze began to get cold, the officials had set a big bonfire like campfire in the center of the venue. At first, the men of the village they were dating became drunk one after the other, expanding the backstage lounge and turning it into a simple lodging to sleep in.

He also called me out of sorrow when he found a severely ill person with acute alcohol addiction, and even showed so much activity that he could remain a hospital staff member, such as finding out and sending out when the villagers' family picked him up.

(Speaking of which, I think the source of the word "guild" was “feast” or “banquet”. For example, having a big banquet at the blacksmith “guild" isn't weird...... I'm sure it is. This isn't wrong as a “guild”. So the staff can work so normally...)

I was thinking about what could be considered a real escape while watching the staff work.

Us, but Liddy got attacked by a sleeper on the way and started sleeping on my shoulder on a pillow. I just thought sleeping in the night breeze was bad for my health, and I took him back to the mansion.

Me and Liddy were hanging the magic of detoxification on themselves, and there wasn't enough booze left to think we'd been drinking since the day, but I still felt drunk with the aftermath of the festival. The two of us walked through the meadows at night talking about no other love.

After sending her to the mansion, she was driven by the temptation to dive straight into the bedroom herself, too, but just returned to the meadows without abandoning her father and brother, and Dan. By the way, my grandfather had left the banquet hall in a natural move as if to check the security of the venue at a relatively early stage. It was such a brilliant retreat that no one, including me, would question it.

This time, the squire other than Walt Vassel, the squire head who guards the mansion, is attending this event. Nicholas Garland continues to be drunk by the Dwarves and sinks at a relatively early hour, as he is the home affairs officer and distiller of the Lockhart family.

Hector Marron and Guy Jakes unfortunately demonstrated their pre-emptive crisis-sensing and covert abilities and had disappeared from an early stage. Those Dwarves also didn't seem to notice the withdrawal of the Rockhart family's two proud scouts.

Enos Vassel kept dating because of his position as my father's deputy, but he ended up being transported to the rest stop by the time the date changed. Similarly, Sim Marron was with his brother, but at some point he rolled into the rest stop.

Will Keegan, who went to Ars with him last time, has been crushed early by the Dwarves and taken back to Kanga Hill by his wife, Tricia.

The most “clean” of the squire was Byron Seedorf. He was the captain of the defensive team. He saluted his father pisciently, as a matter of course, "because there is a guard on the Museum Hill with a reservoir (...)," and left in a refreshing manner.

The Dwarves, who were dragging him to the banquet by saying to the others, "It's not even dinner yet," are also saying, ”Guard the vault," and sending him out honestly. Asked in the morning, Walt and I took turns guarding the venue and the Hall Hill.

Dan, as usual, was drunk by the Dwarves and repeated the cycle of recovering with the magic of my detoxification, but while I was sending Liddy away, he kept drinking and the magic of detoxification left him so much alcohol that he couldn't disappear completely.

I took him to the rest stop with the magic of detoxification, thinking it was time for him to remember how much he drank. Still, you're definitely going to get hungover.

Heading for morning workouts, but just as drunk Dan, Enos and Sims were not likely to move. Nicholas, who slept with him, is almost recovering from the magic of detoxification, albeit with a blue-white face, and is back home first.

Beatrice was thriving with the Dwarves, and my father and brother, my three of us, tried to get back to the mansion, but she softly stood up and said, "I'm coming too," and comes along fine.

Alcohol is almost gone by the magic of detoxification, but I was tired and flirty from lack of sleep and continued drinking. The fifteen-year-old's body is tight all night in search of adequate sleep. It would be completely different if I could sleep even for an hour or two, but this time it's "complete”. Then you think you should take a break from training, but this is serious and I'm not willing to take a break for personal reasons.

Do my father and brother feel the same way, rubbing their sleepy eyes up the hill?

In the meantime, only Beatrice is fine as usual, enough to hear, "Why are you so fine?" In contrast, he laughed and said, "I work out differently," and he slapped Bassin and me on the back.

The workout that morning was terrible. The mould of bareback collapses, and my breath rises quickly. My grandfather reprimanded me many times, but I don't listen to my body.

(Regardless of the banquet, it's awkward when your body doesn't seem to move after all night. It's not Beatrice, but we need to work out a little more...)

I manage to finish an hour of workout and have breakfast, but my body doesn't accept it because it's just after eating and drinking all night. When I was thinking about it, Sharon prepared a warm milk and wheat porridge (polidge) with honey.

Even after the meal, Liddy is still asleep, and Beatrice opens her big mouth and yawns like she's asleep, "It's time to go to sleep," and goes back to her room.

I fought the sleeper but tried to get back to the northern meadows to confirm the cleanup, and Mel and Sharon followed me.

The Dwarves are still drinking in the meadows, but just about should be out of booze by now. I don't need to hurry up because I'm due out tomorrow, but the guild staff are ready for tomorrow, and I have to clean up here. I wonder if it's really okay when I think about them.

When the three of us went to say hello to the Ulrich people, they said, "Are you finally home! Come on, drink!" I still recommend booze. There is a bitter laugh in its appearance.

"Aren't most barrels empty already?

When I say that, "I still have Scotch left. Exactly because my belly swelled," he returned. Apparently a cup after dinner.

"I'll just keep away from it. I have to clean up later," he said, trying to get away. But Ulrich grabs my arm.

"I'm really sorry..." I tried to say no, and I was blocked from saying, "I need to talk serious." Sit in a chair trying to listen to you without a choice.

"I've consulted with the heads of the Primus, Pericritle, Doctus and Fortis branches you're here with. We're talking about getting the magic team to improve."

"Oh, is that the story? But it's a good hand job," he laughed.

"They rarely get out of the city. Especially since I can only talk to branch managers once every five years. So I thought I'd make up my mind here."

Although the blacksmith guild has three hundred parents at the general headquarters of Ars as management committee members to set its policy, a regular general meeting is held every five years, which brings together each branch manager. The last time was held in 315, three years ago, and not until 320. Not all branch managers are present, but since there are major branch managers, they have had discussions.

"At first there will be some coming from Periclitle. But even though it's close, once you get back, you don't go back for a month..."

Pericritle is the closest city to the village of Rasmore, but it is about one hundred and seventy kilometers away. It takes seven or eight days to use the carriage, so a month is the minimum time to hurry back and adjust your work and bring in more weapons orderers. Normally, it takes at least two months, but even if they say a month because of the alcohol involved, they nod.

When I snort, Ulrich moves on.

"And Noona. Once you get back, you probably can't come here on a yearly basis. Especially since you can't run out of work on Non, Gaelic Notes, Oigen..."

Ulrich, the chief craftsman, the legendary armor craftsman Gaelnote, and Oigen, the name of the divine spear, know anyone who makes battle a living 'impersonation'. And the weapons they create, be they knights, mercenaries, or adventurers, are also what one day they want to have in their hands. For this reason, a constant request is being made to them.

"See you there. Non will stay here and ask you to improve the magic team. [M] I wouldn't bother the other branches if I did. What do you say?"

What he was trying to say was to use the blank period until the nearest Periclitle branch arrived to improve the magic formation of the major blacksmiths at Ars headquarters.

"I don't mind, but is Ars okay with you? I guess not all twenty. I just can't do that."

Twenty blacksmiths are coming from Ars headquarters this time. It is difficult in a month to improve the magic formation of all of them. This time we improved the magic formation of the blacksmiths in the Dägenhardt and other Welburn branches, but not all of them either. I'm only doing the part about this skill assessment meeting.

"Of course I'll do something about General Headquarters" Ars ". I don't think all of them will stay, but I think seven or eight of them will stay."

With that number of people, I could handle just improving the magic team, but there was another important thing.

"Whose arsenal do you make? It was supposed to be a condition to bring in someone to use the weapon?

"Of course I'm thinking about it. You guys are reworking your weapons. I have the stuff from the Gaelic Notes here. If we're gonna fix that, we're gonna have to fix it."

"Then there's no problem… there's nothing the seven of us can't handle if we just improve what we have…"

When I whine like that, I say, "" It's up to you! "" Ulrich and the others rise. The blacksmiths of the other branches are also nodding because they have no effect on themselves.

I don't feel like I've been set up, but I decided to cut it off to make it stronger.

"Ulrich, Gaelnote, Oigen, Georg, Wood, Luc, and Johann."

I will raise the names of the blacksmiths who made our weapons to confirm. But things are a little strange with the Ulrich guys.

"You got something?," he said.

"No, could you add about two more? I want to leave Gotthardt and Fuzeif behind."

That makes two Dwarves stand up.

Dwarf's faces all look the same but still look familiar and they're both blacksmiths called famous workers.

"But whose arsenal do you make? I guess we haven't decided, have we?," he argues, "Kati, who was mixed up in the dwarf, rises up. I didn't notice because I was too familiar with it.

"The sword of Lord Nicholas Garland and Lord Byron Seedorf."

I can't see the story, but I'm not going to receive any more free weapons. I buy objections from knights and mercenaries from other countries if I am not clear about this.

"We can't pay the blacksmiths what they deserve. I'm sure you're clearly refusing to take it free of charge."

Reject that in a strong tone. I understand that it is not an ordinary conversation, but in vague terms it is attached to this queen opponent.

"It's okay. This is from Katrina Brentwood, Queen of the Kingdom of Kaum, personally. I'm going to give it to two, no, other squires, so I'm going to give it to five squires to help protect the Blacksmith Guild training center."

I didn't see the story at all. All I can do is say, "What does that mean?"

"The Kingdom of Kaum wants to protect the“ Rasmore Training Institute, "an important facility of the Blacksmith Guild (...). But so far (...) the kingdom cannot do anything because this is imperial territory. I find it very difficult to assist all the Lockhart families, especially the knights who are being reckoned with, with weapons and funds."

Imperial knights may receive weapons and hardware from royalty in other countries, but usually with the permission of the emperor, or the imperial government. Failure to do so may result in suspicion of being compromised and disposed of.

"Then you can't even give your squire expensive weapons?

Shake your head alongside my question. The clothes I was wearing belonged to the common people, and they looked just like the canteen general said, "I'm afraid it's sold out." Still, he seemed to be the “queen” of a country, and his voice had majesty.

"No, that's not true. Even though the squire is in a subordinate relationship with the knight, it is only a private soldier of the knight from the state. He's also a civilian, and from a national point of view, he's no substitute for mercenaries and adventurers. Another important point is that I personally (...) present it. It's a problem if you're royal, but you have no authority whatsoever (...) It's not like even knights in other countries have no precedent for the Queen personally giving weapons. Not a compliment, of course."

It is difficult to agree with the point that there is no authority whatsoever, but the story does exist of the Queen giving weapons to knights of other nations. It means inviting a knight whose martial name rang, and "not praised” refers to this.

"Then you will be wounded by Katie's, no, queen's name."

To the words the queen said, "It doesn't matter what that is."

"Isn't this village dangerous? Mr. Zach is so desperate to consolidate his defense. If it helps at all, you won't be confined to small things. Priority should be given to protecting your home, your family, and your people."

The queen insisted from the walls and moats I had built that I was alert to something.

(Again, this queen can't be insulted. Well, Viscount Radford also had an idea, so if anyone sees it, they may notice... but if the Nicholas and the others have Dwarf masterpieces of arms, their defense will rise exceptionally. And maybe just fine. I was going to talk to Beltram, but with the Ulrich guys there I might be able to live up to the idea I'm thinking about right now......)

"We need the consent of our father and grandfather to talk about the weapons of our servants. So, you can't understand it here, but I understand the story. I'd love to hear it from you."

Then the queen and the Ulrich went to see their father and grandfather. I didn't see it in person because I wasn't present, but from what my brother told me when I was present, he said we both didn't have words out of the blue.

Thus, nine blacksmiths were to remain from the headquarters of Ars.

Walt, Nicholas, Guy, Hector, and Byron are the five people who are given weapons by the Queen. Furthermore, Enos and Sims are to be speared and sworded by Beltram under the guidance of the Ulrich. Now all the major warriors of the Lockhart family are to have Dwarf weapons.

(I feel that there is inflation in the arsenal, but the opponent is the one even God fears. It's not the Queen's word, but don't you need to hold on to the little things...)

When we're done talking to the Ulrich's, we're going in to clean up.

I head to the rest stop first, but there were so many drunken things asleep that I thought of the word corpse cumulative.

We'll see how the three of them are, Enos, Sims and Dan, who still don't wake up, and then we'll make sure they have no problem with the drunk. No one is aggravated by the fact that they are treated at an early stage, but they feel worse about themselves because of the unique smell that hangover patients give out.

Mel and Sharon had no mercy when they tried to leave that if they slept like this, they would be resurrected at night. They were beating up their brothers. Sim and Dan leave the rest stop trying to pull their legs together with a face that clearly shows they are suppressing nausea.

There was sadness behind it, and he made the salaried man, who was hungover and hard, but had to go to work, a hon.

The removal of tents and other items was actively pursued by the merchants. Because a lot of people are headed to Kilnarek or Bogwood by the end of the day and need to finish cleaning up in the morning. However, the servants are not feeling well because they drank too much last night, and have not made much progress.

The merchants also come to greet me with an affectionate laugh when they see my face, but it was clear that its complexion was blue and white and that it was too much to drink.

(I have to think about it when I do these events with Dwarf. If we don't divide the area or limit the extension to Dwarves alone, there's really a dead man out there...... or can't we do it outside of here?

Of these, the most vigorously moving are the guild employees, as usual. Exactly not the usual handy, but still working normally.

(Never succeed if you pull out a blacksmith guild employee and do an event company. I keep working for more than twenty-four hours, but I don't leak a single thing. On the contrary, it is perfectly divided… let's plug in some sweet stuff later. I have to tell you not to just plug in the booze if you make a mistake......)

I hung out for a cleanup until about 11: 00 a.m., but it was just the limit of my strength and I took about two hours of hypnotic sleep. I went straight to the afternoon training, but my body cut badly and my grandfather kept making me do it.

There was a farewell party with the Dwarves that night, but nothing notable. I'll just tell him that the lack of sleep never resolved.

■ ■ ■

The Dwarves' farewell party is held in the training institute's assembly room. Alliance officials were resurrected because they took a nap in the afternoon and were progressing without anything.

In the meantime, Melissa Marron was cheering with Ulrich Drexler and Gaelnote Graver. Beside it is the figure of Sharon Jakes, but not Zacharias Lockhart. He was at a different table arguing with the doctus blacksmiths.

"Thank you. I can't do you a favor," Melissa lowers her head to Ulrich and the others. Ulrich looked kindly at his grandson and said, "I owe you nothing. You don't have to worry about it," he nodded small.

"But I'm even asking Kati... Kati is a good guy, but I thought he made the royalty owe him..."

Gaelic notes say, "The royal family has plenty to lend. Sometimes you'd better have it back," he laughs.

Sharon thought the Ulrich and the others would stay this time. To get Ulrich, the chief craftsman, to stay in this village and equip the masters, such as Walt Vassel and Nicholas Garland, with excellent weapons.

Not only that, but by making the track record of using the training institute by the master craftsman himself, we can disseminate to the whole world that the village of Rasmore is an important place for the blacksmith's guild.

We knew that those who were the lords of the Lockhart family, including Zacharias, would not be good enough to receive weapons free of charge, and we thought about what we should do to that end. And I came up with the idea of initially asking the Ulrich, who made their own weapons, to stay and decide that they also made other weapons as they made improvements to their weapons.

However, the operation was changed by chance because Queen Katrina accompanied her.

Ulrich himself asked the Blacksmith's Guild to talk to the Queen about giving weapons to his squire. It is unprecedented that the blacksmith guild's master craftsman asked for such a thing, but Melissa pleaded and Ulrich immediately agreed that Sharon would let him smell that the village of Rasmore was in danger.

"When I heard that story, I thought I had to fly to Dwarves all over the world. Wow," Ulrich laughs, but makes a serious face.

"You're not really dangerous. I'll do whatever we can."

"I think I'm fine now. But I feel like Master Zach has something in mind. If anything happens, please."

Melissa says so and bows her head again.

Gaelnote gently taps Melissa's arm like a pom pom.

"Don't say anything. 'Cause it's got the noodles on it."

There came the queen. "You're still close," he said, gleefully jocking a jock with a scotch.

"We apologize for the inconvenience caused to Mr. Kati. I'm so sorry."

When Sharon says that and bows her head, Melissa bows her head the same way.

"I don't care," said the queen,

"It's okay to have a slightly weird reputation if you can protect Scotch. If alcohol has anything to do with it, you can laugh at whatever I do," he says, meditating with one eye patchouli.

"But about the money..." Sharon says, blocking her words.

"I'm going to pay Mr. Ulrich and the others about the cost of the materials, so even my personal assets are going to work it out. If it's not enough, I'll let you out because I've never been to Your Majesty except for alcohol. Besides, I spend very little of my royal budget. I don't need jewellery, and I rarely make new dresses."

"Really?" Ulrich sends a suspicious gaze.

"Of course, I can't wear my old dress, so I'm rebuilding it a little bit," the queen laughed. Fished by it and all four laugh, but soon the queen will have a serious look.

"It's far more important to protect this place than that. This would be the same opinion as Mr. Ulrich and Mr. Gaelnote...... are you sure you're okay? Why don't we just hire some first-class mercenaries to protect the training center?

Sharon shook her head in the words of the queen.

"I appreciate the story, but I think it's hard."

"I wonder why? I don't think anyone would be crazy if they hired Dwarves."

Ulrich and Gaelnote also nod loudly.

"I'm not sure about the fight, but I don't think that first-rate mercenaries fit the way Master Zach fights you..."

Sharon points out that Zacharias' perceived manoeuvres are not common, so the opposite may occur in mercenaries accustomed to the way they fight. He also informed that there was a risk that the chain of command could not be centralized and that the operation could be hindered.

"... Master Zach has a lot on his mind so that all the people in the village can fight. So I feel like I should just stay where I am."

The queen says, "If you're thinking that far, you'll be fine," and raises the jock.

"Let's toast to peace in the village of Rasmore, then. Cheers!"

Sharon and the others similarly raised jocks and glasses and chanted.
