Dream Life

Episode 52: Strong Enemy

Tria history October 24, 2018, around 6: 30 pm.

Eight elite Lockhart family members lurk in a tunnel made by Rich. To ambush the demons of the Black Cloak, the general generals of the enemy.

However, it was possible that the enemy's position had changed while moving through the tunnel. That's why Beatrice and I ambush each other as we check the location of the enemy ahead of time.

I also considered a magical ambush, but considering the possibility of seeing the flow of the Spirit's power and the fact that Sharon's unleashed magic did not work, I had decided from the outset to challenge the melee.

I said I don't know where the enemy is, but neither do I. And Beatrice knows where the enemy is. The waves of darkness that brought about that fear were powerful, not at the level of signs, but from within the tunnel in general.

If you're going to rely on that, you haven't moved from about the same position as you did when you entered the tunnel so far, and I just said twenty meters from the exit.

Behind us are grandfathers who turn off the lights and lurk their breath. If we can jump out and make sure there's no enemy trap, we jump out at once. My grandfathers had pulled out their swords so that they could jump out at any time. Guy and Dan's father and son have Mithril's arrow on their bow, and a spare arrow on their mouths.

I send Beatrice a small signal with my eyes when I hang up the magic trick. I don't need a word at all from the fact that we've been fighting together for six years.

And then we breathe together and pop out at once.

Outside, darkness reigned, but the search lights on the air defense tower illuminated the black cloak, the enemy's general. Before that, there are five knights without necks (Durahan) across the black horse, and behind them there are four Necromancers (Rich) dressed in magician's robes.

There are few other demons. There are dozens of skeletons, but there are no such clutterfish.

We've taken the form of popping up on the side of those ten demons.

The ambush seemed successful, but the enemy seemed to have waited firmly. Shortly after me and Beatrice jumped out, a dark spear was shot out of four riches. It's only twenty meters away, and even I can't avoid the dodging focus.

I get a spear of darkness on the left chest part of my chest armor, Cuiras, and I'm about to be bounced by that impact. However, although there has been an impact, it has not been painful and has not resulted in abnormal conditions such as paralysis or confusion.

It looks like Beatrice got some magic on the flank too, but she keeps running, just like me.

"Beatrice, are you okay!" He shouted, "That's Lord Gaelnote's chainmail. I got hit with leather armor, but it's completely intact," he responded with a cheerful voice.

Beatrice's Mithril's Chain Mail is a masterpiece created by the world's best armor maker, Gaelnote Graver. It also outperforms full plate armor, especially when it comes to anti-magic defense.

My Black Dragon armor also boasted a high defense with masterpieces made by the masterpiece Georg Stoke, and was utterly intact, including the armor.

I rejoice in "I can do this!" and become meatier to my enemies. But Durahan, straddling a pitch-black horseback riding, stood in front of me and Beatrice at a point where we could reach the King of the Undead in a few moments.

Durahan the Five Horsemen rushes in waving a huge knight sword, the Broadsword, which is confusing as if it were a two-handed sword. Even though there is little to no escape distance, the assault (charge) has been accelerated to a hike (gallop), and even this one will have to stop your leg.

Two horsemen Durahan waves down his sword as he runs through both sides of me. I tried to jump into the ground and avoid that slaughter, slashing the back leg of a horse passing overhead. The pitch-black horse stood up to howl, but he couldn't afford to chase me. Another horseman was on the verge of crushing me.

Roll over that horse's hoof and avoid it, but soon Rich's magic attack hit him.

Rich was throwing a flaming storm at me. A whirlpool of flames can become a wall around me. The smell of burning blue grass stood around, and the hot air, as if standing in front of the furnace, hit me, and my hair burned. I was just about to get up from a fallen state, so I can't escape the whirlpool of flames.

While withstanding the high temperatures, I was just wondering how to escape, and the flames abruptly went out.

He took it for a moment, but I'm convinced Rich unleashed his magic on me. An arrow pierced Rich's forehead, and Rich scratched his face as he raised his deaf amputee.

It was an arrow unleashed by Guy or Dan. My grandfathers are already out of the tunnel, slashing and tying Durahan as he walked past me and Beatrice.

A number of lighted demonic props are thrown around, illuminating grass in the meadows. It was paired with the light of the searchlights to create an illuminating and unrealistic sight.

"Miss Beatrice! Zach! Turn to the enemy general! They'll join us as soon as they defeat these mutts!," my grandfather ordered.

There is a bitter smile on the face of me and Beatrice for having called Durahan, a fourth-equivalent demon, a miscellaneous fish, but soon he erases that bitter smile and runs out toward the enemy general, King Undead of the Black Cloak.

Durahan was all toward his grandfathers, and one horse had already been slashed down every horse. But the other three horsemen were masterfully manipulating the horses to stop their grandfathers from marching. A manoeuvrable horseback rider can't break right through even his grandfather in the opponent.

I turned to the king of enemies to follow Beatrice in front, without looking any further back. Beatrice had avoided Durahan's attack by not spearing, but by moving around even more Rich's magic, and had already arrived in front of the enemy king. The Riches could not unleash their magic by Guy and Dan's arrows, they were retreating with Jiriziri, and she was confronted like a knight with the king of the enemy.

Beatrice said, as if to end with a blow, "That's it!," he shouted, wrapping light around the tip of Mithril's spear. Spears rolled out with yellow light like the midsummer sun.

Beatrice's special thrust is sucked into the black cape.

I was convinced it was over. No matter how much the first-degree equivalent, even the dragon scales can be pierced if magic is wrapped around the divine spear of spearmaking leader Oigen Hauser.

The next moment, I couldn't believe what I saw. Beatrice's special spear was completely stopped in front of the black cape, as if it had been blocked by a hard wall.

The king of the undead waved an enormous pitch-black sword uncrafted.

Beatrice pulls the spear and squeezes, but the tip of the sword slightly plunders the body.

"Ahhh!" screams the wooden spirit. I thought it was only slightly plundered and far from fatal, but it seems to have done more damage than I thought.

Beatrice falls on her back as she is. The king of the undead moves slowly forward to stab a stop, but Beatrice doesn't even move with Pickle unconscious.

I said, "Beatrice!," he cries, fleshing to the king of the undead. When I approach it, my legs seem to creep into its unusual atmosphere.

Rich would be so much more undead if it just looked like it. Beneath the black cape was a pitch-black full-body armor that solidified darkness that reflected no light whatsoever.

He's about two meters taller than me. Skinnier than I thought, the style of a forged warrior seeps out without the blunt weight of an oak. His face was invisible due to a full-face type helmet, but only his eyes were dark red like a fire, and he felt so dangerous that he was about to be fascinated when he stared.

Instinctively, I didn't think I could win. I've never had this much fear, including in my previous life.

The measures to win in me were ragged and broken.

In this ambush, I was thinking of defeating the undead of the dark attributes, mainly magical swords and divine spears of the light attributes. I was wondering if an anti-attribute and highly aggressive light attribute would work out.

That didn't do anything.

A powerful man named Beatrice, Tawako, was completely intact, even though he used a spear struck with his heart poured out by a famous Dwarf worker.

Still forced to step forward to help Beatrice, who is falling.

(I don't feel like I can win if I go as far as I can. So much so that I still feel like I can win... I'll just have to buy some time...)

I gave up fighting head-on and only thought about restraining it. Moving around didn't give the enemy an opportunity to attack, and he thought about buying time for his grandfathers to rendezvous.

But the enemy was overwhelming. He easily follows my movements, which are bottomed up with demonic fighting techniques, and skilfully manipulates a thin sword like a spike sword of about a meter and a half, Estock, to hunt me down.

That sword doesn't reflect light at all, just like armor, and I don't even know if it's made of metal. But I can only tell that it has some kind of magical power.

(I lost my mind just because Beatrice plundered. I mean, I guess it's a sword that's been granted the effect of a state anomaly. It's also like a powerful curse. enough that Gaelnote's chainmail isn't even helpful... I might not even be able to buy time on my own......)

Beatrice's wearing chainmail is so magically resistant that it completely disables Rich's magic. If the earlier attack had been a use of magic, i.e. the power of pure spirits, there should have been no loss of consciousness.

(I should be stronger against state abnormalities for my mental tolerance skills. I just have to believe in my chosen skills and fight......)

The King of the Undead shows room as if he laughs at such determination. He came forward with a slow foothold against me with a sword.

I judged it alarming. To poke that alarm, I dare to raise my name.

"I'm Zacharias Lockhart! Let me know your name!

Knowing his name could lead to a spell attack, but he tried to have a conversation to buy him some time.

The King of the Undead slightly stops moving against my name. As always, the color of my dark eyes hasn't changed, but he seems interested in me.

"Can't you understand the human language? That would be just like animals," he provokes.

At that time, the ambient temperature dropped dramatically. Frozen air like midwinter dominates.

"Shiro ni name le need Monaiga, Aete name Tte Yarrow"

A hawkeye tone, but its voice is cold enough to remind me of the word "absolute zero" and I realize that this demon is a true undead king.

"My ga-name ha, Vlad. Vlad Varonos. Nishite, king of the static Canal, next generation, no absolute god, Deal."

The King of the Undead named himself Vlad Varonos and ran out of saying that he was a quieter, that is, a king of the Undead and an absolute God.

The power I felt at that moment wasn't exactly what people were enemies of, I felt so much pressure "pressure" that I was about to kneel. I'm about to drop my sword if I don't have a chance of winning.

Vlad slowly shakes up his long sword.

"Dear Zach! returned to me with Mel's voice." Instinctively dodging Vlad's sword by flying to the left.

Mel stood in front of me rolling like no other. In his hand is the sword of Ulrich, wrapped in magic, and he stands as if to shelter me. Looks like you got out of the fight with Durahan and came to help me.

Vlad glances at Mel and quickly restarts his sword.

"Be careful. His sword loses consciousness just because it's plundered," he advises Mel, "but no more words come out.

"I'll tow it and buy you some time. Master Zach figured out a way to defeat his enemies," he said, laughing nicely, recklessly penetrating toward the King of the Undead.

"Wait!" he exclaims, but Mel never stopped.

If you dare to jump into Vlad's pocket, you will pay your sword to the sideburn.

A hard sound sounds like tapping a metal plate, and the magically wrapped sword of Ulrich is easily bounced back. Was Mel expecting that, jumping straight to the side right after paying for the horizontal giraffe and dodging the enemy's attack?

Vlad slowly approached Mel as he lowered the ambient temperature again, saying as he proudly won "Effect Canuna".

I approach Beatrice in that gap. Rich won't let the magic go because the Guys are holding him back. Activates the magic of State Recovery (Recovery) quickly and causes Beatrice.

"Damn, that's regrettable," Beatrice says, getting up quickly, but her feet flutter if she hasn't fully recovered yet.

"Me and Mel buy time. Rest a little where you're safe," I said, "Don't be ridiculous. Can you rest to this extent," he says, restarting the spear.

"Even so, in this state, you're stuck. Shall I defeat Rich first," he said, tongue-in-cheek, then ran toward the integral Rich, where Guys were holding him back and limiting his movements.

When I looked into Mel's battle, I breathed a rough breath of why-why, but still kept Vlad in check. I try to go around back to help with the machete, but Rich unleashes magic from the side and I can't get close enough.

Near the exit of the tunnel, my grandfather had defeated the second horsemen Durahan, but still the second horsemen Durahan was holding my grandfather, Nicholas and brother, and the battlefield was chaotic.

It's not sneaky to leave Vlad to Mel alone, but I don't know when the orgasmic skeleton will be back from the front gate side. Priority will now be given to eliminating the riches of the trinity that come with ranged attacks.

(Guy and Dan will be free if we can get rid of Rich. If the two of us can entrust two horsemen to Durahan, the princes can fight Vlad. But how can I defeat an opponent that neither Beatrice's spear nor Mel's sword will work...)

I had no choice but to head into battle without finding any thread of victory.
