Dream Life

Episode Thirty: Information on the Empire City

January 29th.

Later last night, Viscount Ignacious Radford, an angel, returned. He came back in just five days running through about two hundred and eighty kilometers from Ezarrington to Imperial Primes and Seawell. Considering the reports in Teito, the speed is good enough to say it's a fast horse.

(Master Ignacious must have been a civilian. I feel sorry for me...)

He came back in a hurry to give me time to discuss winemaking and distillery liquor.

Even so, I don't have much time, and I plan to stay in Seawell for about ten days, so I don't see any problem with a day or two shorter.

After training and heading to breakfast, Viscount Radford sat with a slightly tired look on his face.

"Looks like you're tired," he says after he finishes his greeting.

"No, I'm just a little sleepless. Last night, I exchanged Darunton with your hotel to discuss the improvement of the quality of the wine..."

When I heard the story, they were discussing the matters I pointed out in the brewery, field and vault until the time the dates changed with the Seawell Marquis.

I take my hat off for passion enough to forget about the fatigue of the forcible army, but I feel sorry for being disfigured in my irresponsible opinion.

"Sutherland and Dalungton are scheduled to put together a plan this morning. Can you hear the plan in the afternoon?"

I sympathize with the two civilians, but it wasn't an atmosphere where I could give answers other than understanding.

"In the morning, I would like to discuss the future actions of the Lockhart family after communicating the information purchased in the Imperial Capital."

These are words addressed to my father, Masaias. My father admits, "We don't have a problem with it," but I see confusion because I don't know why I'm in such a hurry.

"I came back in a hurry because I wanted to talk to Lord Zacharias about the brewery, but I had information I needed to tell him in a hurry."

It doesn't sound like a very good story.

From the Lockhart family, my father, my brother Rodrick, in addition to me, Sharon was to join us.

Sharon's participation was due to the adoption of Viscount Radford's opinion that "there should also be the wisdom of Lord Sharon". Apparently the Viscount is buying about her.

We head to the Marquis' office after breakfast, but the rest of us move freely, so we split into several groups and roll out to the city. But only Liddy, the inert, remained in the castle and said, "If you don't want to go, I'll be drinking wine while reading the book."

Mother Tanya and sister-in-law Rosalie go to the commercial district with Angie, Elena's samurai combo, touring the city. Five members of the squire and vigilante led by Sims will accompany them as escorts and luggage carriers.

Beatrice and Mel take Serra, Sophia's two sisters and Luna to the commercial district. Five squires follow them as luggage carriers.

Dan was invited to dinner by Viscount Victoria Radford with her brother Theo, apparently. Asking Dan about it,

"Victoria told me that men are reluctant because there are places where women alone would want to go... what does that mean?

To the extent that I also thought, "Are you going to buy clothes?" I couldn't think of a reason.

Dan has been strangely fond of Victoria since yesterday, so maybe he has some other intention. I guess it doesn't even mean "adventure of love (avanture)" because Theo is with me, but I can't really read her intentions.

By the way, it seems the Lawrencians are having a tea party with the Marquise Mildred Seawell and other Seawell ladies.

Before Beatrice and the others left, I left Luna with one favor.

"If you have any ingredients that look interesting, I want you to buy them. Because I'll give you a penny for that."

That said, give me two silver coins, twenty krone minutes. In Japanese yen, it is about 20,000 yen.

The reason I asked for it, but because I thought it might be a hint of her origins.

Yesterday when we made wine jelly together, we found out that we were old enough to cook on a daily basis before we were reincarnated, but we thought that if we could choose something in a different way than the people of this world, we might be able to get other information.

(Well, if you were born in an age of spreading information, you might not know what the region is, but you would still find about one of the tips......)

That wasn't all, there was another thing I was thinking about.

She's never gotten anything called a dime. I never went outside when I was in the village, and I've been with me a lot since I took this trip, so I could have bought you something if I wanted to.

So I didn't let him have the cash, but it was getting a little brighter, so I thought it would be a good idea to shop for distractions.

When I broke up with everyone in the room, I headed with my fathers to the Marquis's office. Because there is a knight in the guide, we arrive in the room without a conversation as to what the story is.

The only two people waiting in the room were Marquis Seawell and Viscount Radford. There were no civilians who would normally refrain because they wanted to talk confidentially, and even escorts standing in front of the door were kept away.

When we sat on the reception couch, Marquis Seawell signaled the Viscount with his eyes. Taking it, the Viscount opened his mouth to Xu "Momouro".

"Here's the information I got in Imperial City, but there was one good and one bad thing at a time. Let's start with the good ones…"

Yeah, I prefaced and started talking.

"... This is a story I have heard from His Excellency the Prime Minister. His Excellency the Grand Duke of Langton and His Excellency the Duke of Ingolslop have both given up the solicitation of your house. His Excellency the Duke of Ezarrington has returned to Ezarrington with two of your ladies."

"So did they really give up?" My father confirms.

"I was also concerned about that and confirmed it directly to His Excellency the Chancellor. Your Excellency said," Lord Alexis, who has no way of making mistakes. He told the Grand Duke and others directly that he had joined our camp as well. "The Grand Duke also seemed to have to give up when he was so assured by the prudent Chancellor. Perhaps, but if rumors of Lord Zacharias and Lawrenciahs spread to the Imperial Capital, you two would have to give up."

It took the form of being added to the neutrals in the collapse, and my father said, "Isn't that strange? We are not going to join any faction," he says.

"Of course, I have told His Excellency the Chancellor about it. My lord was surprised at first, but he said," If Lord Alexis admitted it, we can't put ourselves at a disadvantage. "That's where we ended the conversation. If the Duke returns to the Imperial Capital, I think things will change, but now I wonder if this is the best possible situation."

I agree with the Viscount.

"Master Ignacious is right. It is now more advantageous for us to think that both the Crown Prince and the Leopold Prince have entered the Neutral. His Excellency the Duke of Etherlington has accepted our thoughts. It would be best to leave it to Your Excellency now."

My father and brother snort at my words.

"So here's the information for the bad guys, but it's a trend for commercial guilds. Commercial guilds are gathering information about your actions in Imperial City. He also contacted the blacksmith's guild and the sorcerer's guild and said he was plotting something. I am even more concerned about the Mage Guild. They have a story about Miles Isherwood, branch manager, starting to move..."

It was assumed that the commercial guild would move. But anyway, the Blacksmith Guild didn't expect to reach out to the Mage Guild.

(Isherwood or... I don't know if it matters here...)

Isherwood was the one who plotted a ploy six years ago to use us for stock for his emergence in the Alliance.

At the time, he tried to socially bury his father, Piers Worgman, by kicking me out, who was the chief, and Sharon, who was the second seat, and chief Quentin Worgman, the third seat and son of the chairman of the Board of Education and Research.

As for this ploy, it could not be prevented, and he himself turned Worgman against his enemies, so he was banished from the guild centre in the name of his glory to the chief of the Imperial Primes branch. Five years later, he still can't get back to HQ, and he's smoking.

"The power of the Mage Guild is no big deal in the Empire, but I hear Isherwood is an unafraid man. I was wondering if I should be more vigilant than not knowing what I was going to set up from where I didn't even think. Sometimes you enter the capital defenselessly and get stuck on your feet. I thought it would be better if I asked for your decision, so I hurried back."

He's right, it equals no Isherwood power in the Imperial Capital, but his ability as a strategist is not insulting. The Viscount felt it, and he rushed to us for information.

I don't think the Viscount will talk this far with mere rumors, but I'll check the confidence of the information just in case.

"Is that source His Excellency the Chancellor?

"Oh, that's the information I got from His Excellency the Chancellor. Your Excellency told me to tell you straight away. Of course, I'm taking the back too."

Information on the Prime Minister and the famous Lord Feelobisher is highly probable. I don't think Isherwood will be the one against the Chancellor, but he won't be spending as many as five years blankly either. So I've never been over there to be vigilant.

The question remains as to whether it would lead to a return to the headquarters of the Mage's Guild, given the relationship between me and Speaker Worgman, and the Speaker's loss of legs.

If the purpose of a commercial guild is blacksmith guild entanglement, I don't think that would be so much of a problem, but I can't imagine what it would do if it were another thought, for example a forceful solicitation to the Crown Prince.

"Now all you have to do is gather information. Father, what will you do?

Confirm that to my father,

"I can't move now. Until new information comes in, the Marquis, the Lord Ignacious, can only be entrusted with the gathering of information."

My brother nodded too, but Sharon asked for a statement, "May I?" When my father nods at it, she starts talking about her thoughts.

"We should collect information independently. Especially the Mage Guild. I don't think it's informative."

In contrast, my father confirms, "What exactly are we going to do?" I knew Sharon would say somehow.

"I will go to Imperial Capital to gather information. Because I'm also a magician guilder, and you may know it in the Imperial Branch."

It was as expected. Surely Sharon's better off gathering information than leaving it to the Seawell family.

"But isn't it dangerous?

In contrast, I'll answer.

"I don't think there's any danger if we just collect information. Anyway, I wouldn't feel any itch if I planted something on Sharon. That Mr. Isherwood wouldn't do such a waste."

"I see. But I can't let you go alone."

"I think I should go with my brother. I don't think anyone is paying attention to me, because I think that me and my brother would have asked me to do something, and I think the two of us would be able to cut through some things."

My father still reluctantly asks me if I feel comfortable letting Sharon gather information in strange lands.

"It's less noticeable to move as an adventurer, not as an associate of the Lockhart family. Leave it to me."

My father also snorted reluctantly at Sharon's persuasion.

Marquis Seawell, who was listening to the two exchanges, questions what we know about Isherwood.

"You seem to know a lot about Isherwood, but no matter how much I was a student at the School of Magic, I don't seem to have much contact?

"Normally you're right. Do you mean a little cause with him, because he was involved..."

After I say that, I will give an overview of the conspiracy at the Mage's Guild six years ago. Of course, I'll lay low that we moved aggressively. Because it's so unnatural.

I was surprised at my explanation: "You were involved in such a conspiracy at the age of ten."

"Even though I was involved, I was only unilaterally made a story of the plot, because it was Speaker Worgman who solved it"

Sharon and Dan decided to head to the Imperial City ahead.

I'd like to go myself, but when I move, it stands out, and so do the Laurencians.

At the end of her talks with the Seawell Marquis, she fears she will make her own contact with the Crown Princes and Princes and try to get information. For that reason, stab the nail once and for all.

"I think Sharon will be fine, but don't push it. Just a sorcerer's guild or a commercial guild, but don't come into contact with the Crown Prince or the Crown Prince."

And I'll tell you just in case something goes wrong.

"I know you do, but if anything happens, you need to ask the Blacksmith Guild for help. Only they can definitely be trusted."

Smile and nod at my concerns.

"Yes. Maybe that won't happen, but if anything happens, I'll ask Mr. Gunter of the Blacksmith Guild for help. But there's only one thing I'm sorry about."

"Anything wrong?" When I heard it, I got a slightly lonely look on my face and began to talk about it at the top of my head.

"It's about being separated from Master Zach. I've never been away since I was born..."

You were absolutely right. I lived separately from Mel and Dan for a year, but only Sharon was with me in Lasmore Village or Doctus, and I've been away for about three days or more because it's about time I went for reconnaissance in the woods east of the village.

More than that, I was thrilled that I gave him a lonely look by turning away from his sober expression earlier.

I'm still not used to these gaps and all I could say was, "Oh, yeah".
