Dream Life

Episode 44: Dan's Blacksmith Guild Visit

Afternoon of February 3rd.

I am breaking up with my sister in a commercial guild and headed to a blacksmith guild in the industrial district.

The commercial district with the commercial guild is on the north side of Plymouth and the blacksmith guild, the destination, is on the south side. In addition, there is a palace and aristocratic district in the centre of the city, which cannot be pulled out straight away, so it is necessary to go far.

For this reason, you have to walk more than 5 km (Kimmel) in the cold rain of winter.

It travels south from the commercial guild to the western side of Teito and towards the industrial district.

Pretty much the main rain, but more people walked through the city than I thought. It's hard to tell with its thick waterproof cloak, but it feels like a lot of merchant-style people.

But some of them were travelers or a group of people walking around looking around with a chiropractor.

As we move away from the boulevard known as Triumph, the shops become smaller in size and less crowded.

Instead, there will be more four-story collective housing. If it was sunny, I know the kid's voice would be overflowing, but now it's enough to see a housewife walking early enough.

The streets of the residential area are narrow, but by the way there was a square about fifty m (melt) square. Something like a tent is built and sells vegetables and other groceries even in the rain.

As we entered the West End, we saw a large building. It's a wholesale market in Teito. It also smells like fish.

There seems to be an Imperial Army headquarters on the left hand side, and if the weather is nice, they can see the Fei Long (Wyburn) flying from the Army headquarters, but today the rain meant they didn't see the Fei Long.

I heard there were many cheap and tasty eateries around here and tried to get into the right store. Just at lunch, so many people are eating.

"That's the first face I've ever seen. We only have a fixed meal. That's all right!

I am greeted by the voice of a powerful middle-aged woman.

I take off my cape and sit in an empty seat, say, "So please," and give him a piece of small silver coin.

"Aye! A set meal!" The prestigious voice echoes the store.

Soon there will be a fixed meal on the tray. On top of the tray was fish soup with bowels (sausage) and black bread, along with a cup with ale.

The soup tasted a little salty, but when the complex stock was out and I soaked the black bread and ate it, it was delicious enough to keep my hands on it.

Since this is what you can eat in a single krona, you are not wrong to talk about many cheap and tasty stores.

"Delicious," he mutters, as an earlier woman passes by saying, "Because it's our prized soup.

Yale had a slightly weak carbonation and yeast clutter. Maybe it's leftovers.

I just thought a little more delicious ale would be better, and I think I've been influenced by Master Zach, too, and I got a zero grin.

Finished lunch, but the rain is still at home and the waterproof cloak is heavier, including water. I'm not wearing any armor today, but I walk south wondering if I would have had a hard time taking care of it.

I entered the industrial district in about thirty minutes. You can hear the sound of a hammer and the sound of weaving a desk from the sound of rain.

Since it was confirmed on the map, a sign with a hammer (hammer) and a gold floor (anvil) was immediately found.

The Blacksmith Guild building is three-story stone, with a large general gate for carriages to enter and exit and a main gate for people to enter and exit.

I headed straight to the main entrance and went inside.

After noon the hall on the ground floor is idle. There were about ten Dwarf blacksmiths, but no one knew.

Find a receptionist and tell a male employee about thirty years of age what to do.

"I'm from the village of Rasmore, I'm Dan, the valet of Guy Jakes, a servant of the Lockhart family. I'd like to meet the Branch Manager, Gunter Fink."

I felt Dwarf turn around at the same time when I said the village of Rasmore. The receptionist also hears the words "Village of Rasmore” and “Lockhart family” and stands up in a hurry.

"Please wait a moment! I'll check with the Branch Manager!

It kind of resembles what happened to the Wellburn branch that Master Zach taught me.

"It sounded like the village of Rasmore, but you're from Lockhart?

One Dwarf blacksmith, like a veteran, called out.

"Yes, the Lockhart family are still in Seawell, but I was dispatched as a first touch. We are scheduled to arrive in the capital on or about February 10th."

"Oh! Right! Right!" he said, laughing, bashing my arm. It hurts a lot because I'm not wearing armor today.

Greeting other blacksmiths, an earlier official returned.

"He says the branch manager will see you soon. This way, please."

That's what they tell me. They guide me in the back.

I haven't been particularly nervous so far as I planned, but I need to get my mind together from here on out. In my inadvertent words, the blacksmiths can run wild.

When I was led to a room marked Branch Manager's Office, inside was Mr. Gunter, who met me face-to-face at the Dwarf Festival.

"Well done, Dan!

That's what I say. I shake hands with Gotsui hands. I have a grip too, but this hurts a lot.

"It's been a while. Mr. Gunter," he said back,

"What's it like today? Didn't I hear Zach and the others were a little further away?

"Yes, Master Zach and the others are still in Seawell. I think by now they've confirmed the distillery's potential for construction, and they're considering a plan with the Marquises."

"Oh! Can you finally have a distillery in the southern part of the empire too!," he said with a full smile.

I'm sorry I seem to stab you in the nail, but I'll tell you that properly because we're still ahead of us.

"But since the artisans haven't grown up yet, and the distillers are not being produced for any purpose. According to Zach, production starts in about two years, and sales starts in about five years."

"Well... it still takes that long..." he is visibly disappointed.

"I think Master Zach will be here for this story. I came to ask you for something else today."

That's what I say and correct my residence. The change in my expression also changed Mr. Gunter's expression. [M]

"Another favor? Say whatever we can."

"Thank you. I don't have anything to ask of you right now. But the commercial guild and the sorcerer's guild seem to be working, so if you have any information, I'd like you to let me know, and I'd like to ask for help if anything happens."

"Tell me whenever you need anything. Nong and the others are on Lockhart's side. But what are the commercial guilds and the sorcerer guilds trying to do?

"My sister is exploring it. Once I figure that out, I might be able to ask you again, but so far I'm only grasping that I'm gathering information."

Mr. Gunter said, "Okay," and said, "Somebody come!," he shouted out loud outside the branch manager's office.

Then soon a young male employee in his early twenties appears.

The man was wondering what had happened.

"Would you like to call me?

"Alan. Have you heard from the commercial guild about the Lockhart family?

The man called Alan immediately replied, "Yes, there was,"

"It was in the business log, but it looks like a commercial guild official came about three days ago. The Lockhart family were asked when they were due to arrive and asked a lot more questions about Zacharias during the chat…"

I've previously heard from Jack Harper, an official at the General Headquarters in Ars, that information about the Lockhart family will be recorded in the business log at the Blacksmith Guild and will be shared with all staff. Apparently to prevent the blacksmiths from going wild.

"I see... we need to find out what the commercial guild is thinking. Alan, I'm sorry, but I need you to ask the merchants who have a deal. You may use the name of Non..."

Mr. Gunter gave instructions to Mr. Alan on the spot.

"Got it. You should explore the movement of the commercial guild. Is there anything else?"

"Right. The sorcerer's guild is working. We have little contact with the Sorcerer's Guild, but if you have any information, please do so."

Soon after, the blacksmith guild became the main subject and the story hit the gathering of information.

I wonder if my sister will scold me later, but if this happens, I'll have to leave it to the end.

"Please keep it confidential that the Lockhart family is moving. It would be helpful to hear the blacksmith's guild feel like it's moving independently in a distillery tangle"

Mr. Alan grins and nods nicely.

"Okay. There was talk of building a distillery within the Empire, so I'll take the story from that side. Anything else you should be aware of?

I can't think of it right away if you say so. I remembered Lawrence and the others when I was worried about the answer.

"Are rumors of a lady from the Duke of Ezarrington's house spreading to the Empire City?

Mr. Gunter answered my question.

"I'm listening. Anything. We went to a banquet at the Ezarrington Branch. Didn't we? Ivan's guy complimented him. Those girls would have no problem being Zach's wife."

"Now spread the word about it. The same rumors should be coming from the Seawell side in a little while. I want to make that story credible."

Alan couldn't grasp the intent of my story and asked me, "What intent is that?"

"I mean, bye. Please spread the word that Zach's wife has had enough. That's not what I meant, Dan."

Mr. Gunter had discerned the measures of the Duke of Ezarrington without having to explain anything.

"Exactly. Dear Zach is in trouble because a lot of people come to talk to me."

That's where I come up with a rumor about myself.

"What can I say next, could you also circulate rumors that I, Dan Jakes, am also in the process of talking about the engagement of Viscount Radford's maid? I haven't spoken to Felicia yet, but I've been informed by the Viscount and his wife that it's okay to make rumors."

In a few days' time, you will receive a letter from Ignacious to your young lady, Felicia. Leaving rumors running now won't be an issue.

Mr. Alan said, "I'll take care of it" and left the branch manager's office.

I'm done talking to you, too, so I'm gonna get up to go back to the inn.

"All right, now for the banquet! I like Mr. Gunter, grab my hand.

"Luckily (...) we have a branch gathering today. It's time for them to get together..."

Bad luck (...) seems to have come to the banquet day in the name of rally.

(There is no Master Zach or Mr. Lydia today. What do I do...... if it crumbles, Sharon will definitely piss me off. I'm worried I'll be able to get tomorrow safely before then...)

Plims has more than a hundred parent workshops with Dwarf blacksmiths. I mean, you have to drink with over a hundred dwarves.

Usually, I'm not the only one who gets drunk because of Master Zach and Mr. Beatrice, but I'm the only one today. I mean, they drink more than usual.

And my worries are over. [M]

The banquet started around 3: 00 p.m., but all I can remember is about two hours. When I realized it, I slept on the sleeping table at the inn.

On the morning of February 4th, I get out of bed fighting the intense nausea of my hangover. There was a water drain on the side table. Drink water while fighting the strong smell of ale that still lingers.

"It's okay, brother," my sister called out. Not very loud, but even that voice echoes my head. But the thing didn't show up on my face, I was forced to make a smile,

"I'm hungover, but I'm alive somehow. Thanks for the water."

It got a little easier once I went to the bathroom.

"I thought this was going to happen......" my sister smiles bitterly, but she smiled, "I forgive you for coming home properly," she said.

He then tells Mr. Gunter that he talked to him, holding down his painful temples.

"You can do it. I forgot to spread the rumors about Lawrence and the others. Besides, the blacksmith guild is looking into the distillery construction. Because everyone thinks it's possible for blacksmiths."

Apparently, my negotiation was a passing score.

"Speaking of which, how did you get back to the front of the room?

"I was able to come home until I was in front of the room. You don't remember..."

"I noticed by the sound of knocking on the door, it wasn't a walkable atmosphere."

"Oh, I was asking the guild staff. He wants me to drive him to the inn if he gets drunk. I somehow remember riding in the carriage because it was raining..."

I also remember feeling sick in a rocking carriage, but I don't remember how I got into the inn and got to the front of the room.

"I can compliment you for even asking me to do it after it crumbled, but it was time for Zach to remember the amount of alcohol..."

My sister's novel was about to start, so I say, "I'll lay down a little more," and avoid my sister's novel attack. Soon afterwards, the sleeper attacked me and woke up before noon.

There was already no sisterhood, hangover pills and water on the side table, and notes.

I took a pill and saw a note. [M]

'I'm not going to wake up, so I'm going to go collect information first. I'm scheduled to meet the Spencer Branch Manager of the Commercial Guild today. When you have time, your brother should go around the Magician's Guild's Magic Prop store and spreading rumors about Master Zach...... come back at noon as we head to the Blacksmith's Guild in the afternoon. Sharon. "

My sister seems to come into contact with the branch manager of the commercial guild, but it wasn't in this plan. Apparently within yesterday we got new information and changed our plans.

It was already before noon, so I didn't have time to spread the rumors.

(But is it okay? Zach tells me to only collect information...)

I felt a little anxiety and waited for my sister to come back.
