Dream Life

Episode 60: Banquet with the Imperial Branch

The Plymouth branch of the Blacksmith Guild hosts a feast welcoming us to the Lockhart family.

I made three requests in that seat.

As regards the organisation of the wine festival in the first Marquis of Seawell and the establishment of the second branch, a commitment of cooperation could be attached without problems.

But I just told the third Duke of Phyllobisher territory to set up a branch in the same way, and Gunter Fink, the branch manager, and several other veterans are on alert.

"Did the Chancellor say something to you?"

Answer Gunter's words, "That's not it,"

"This is something I've been thinking about since before I came to the Imperial City, but there is a possibility of a new distilled liquor for Phyllobisher. Scotch, Brandy, Calvato (...) followed by the fourth distiller!

The expression of the Dwarves turns to astonishment at once. And quiet back like every man has lost his voice.

In that unusual atmosphere, I went on to explain.

"Phyllobisher has liquor made from sugar cane. If you make distilled liquor from that ingredient, you'll be able to taste it like never before. It's not a complex flavor and aroma like Scotch, it's not a gorgeous fragrance like brandy, it's not a sweet fragrance of fruit like carbatos, it's a whole other liquor"

"Oh, you can do that..."

Gunter, who regains the function of his vocal cords, squeezes out his plundered voice.

"I can!" I assure you.

"Scotch is made from barley, brandy from grapes, and carbatos from apples. If you can make distilled liquor by boosting the alcohol (alcohol) of those liquors, you can always do so from other brewed liquors!

The Dwarves are still unable to open their mouths, pushed by my momentum.

"There are endless possibilities for distilled liquor! It's raw materials, distillers, barrels, maturation periods, soaking materials... there's more, but if these change, we can definitely have another booze... hundreds, no, tens of thousands of booze could be produced! I'm going through the middle and into Fortis. I'll make a new liquor suggestion there as well. I made that first suggestion here in the Imperial capital, Plymouth."

"Tens of thousands... that's all the distillery... it's like a dream..."

One Dwarf is whining so he can float.

"I'm not going to end it with a dream! As long as I'm alive, I'll keep suggesting new booze!

So I slowly look over the venue.

"You're all gonna end up dreaming too! I haven't tasted it yet. I might be able to drink!

The next moment, "" Something to end it!, "" "I'll do the non! The voice" "dominates the assembly room.

"Then I hope you'll cooperate!

"" Ooh!

That's how the Dwarves scream and step on their feet.

I thought I managed to do well, but only Gunter, the branch manager, was calm.

"Town down!" he sipped,

"Seawell is good. I can trust His Excellency the Marquis and Lord Ignacious. But can you trust Phyllobisher? Can you say all the people who can't love booze can't run for money? Non respects the Chancellor. But that's not just in terms of being a fair, selfless politician. I don't know if I deserve credit for drinking, but I can't help!

I thought I could handle the momentum, but that's just sometimes I'm entrusted with the branch manager.

"I'll take care of it. Instead, I won't admit it! Because there's no way he can make the booze we want!

"If you say so much, let's work together. But you've been here about half a month. In the meantime, if you can show me a sure sign that they can be convinced, then this story is gone."

"Naturally. I'm gonna do that, too."

Although I said it with momentum, it depends on what the Chancellor thinks.

(Shit. Have you gotten a little too hot...... I don't have a handover for the Phyllobisher family and I don't have much time. It's a passage to the north, but Phyllobisher is to the south, and there must have been quite a distance... but we just have to do something about it...)

Although I have some regret for what I said with momentum, I have no regret for what I said itself.

"But it's amazing. Zacharias," Marquis Seawell was addressing Viscount Radford.

"This is why they call it the son of the alcoholic god. distilled liquor with sugar cane, what it tastes like... I'm curious too"

"You want a lot, too. But I'm also concerned that Zacharias is so confident."

I say to the two of you who are talking about that, "Your Excellency and Master Ignacious will also cooperate," and start talking to Dwarf and Marquis Seawell again.

"In the southern part of the Empire we think we should make the liquor that was on that land. There's as much booze as I don't know. I want you to look for them and come up with a lot of ideas. You can't make things that impress people with craftsmen who quit their ingenuity. Same goes for booze. I will leave the land, but if all of you who are putting down roots in the land proceed with the craftsmen, the best liquor will always be produced. I'd love to ask you all to help me."

So I bow my head big.

"Bye! Nona's beer tasted even better after the Dwarf Festival! This is not the result of everyone's efforts! Nong et al are blacksmiths, but they can give their opinions to the liquor maker. Why don't we keep looking for delicious drinks!

I started applauding Gunter after he said that.

Everyone starts to get caught in it, and the assembly room is wrapped in applause that just cracks.

Liddy next to me burst out with her elbow and said, "It's okay."

"What are you talking about?," he asked in a whisper.

"I feel like we're talking too much, like the branches that go first are waiting for distilled liquor suggestions... are you sure you're okay?

I do have that concern. But I have some purpose, and I don't have a problem with myself because I want to drink alcohol.

"If that's the case, I'll be fine. 'Cause I have a drink I'd like to drink, so I'll definitely suggest it."

I meant to whisper so I wouldn't hear anything else, but it seemed like Gunter sitting diagonally in front of me.

"What are you whispering about? What do you want to drink more than that? I'm really curious about that."

"You still got something!," "Tell Nong et al!" The voice goes up.

"It's just like the sugar cane liquor in the Feelobisher. I hear there's liquor made from corn in the central region, and Fortis has potatoes. I'm wondering what else would happen if I made Scotch out of rye liquor."

"That's Zach. I didn't know you were already thinking about that..."

The Dwarves look at it with respect, but Liddy flaunts her shoulders like she said she was stunned.

"Either way, create distilleries all over the world. 'Cause there's a chance you'll be able to have unknown liquor I don't know about."

After that, I was very excited about the liquor story.

Marquis Seawell, who cared about the Dwarves, has earned their trust completely by talking about wine and brandy.

"I'm glad I'm with you. I don't think I've been able to solve this by myself."

"I was optimistic. Your Excellency said it would be accepted. But be careful."

"What do you want?" and lean his neck.

"From now on, there will always be more opportunities to drink with Dwarves. If I were there, I could manage with the magic of detoxification, but drinking too much would be life-threatening. Especially distilled liquor."

I have already hung the magic of detoxification on the Marquis twice. Of course, I didn't feel like I was going to get drunk, I just hit the lead, but I got caught up in the Dwarves' pace and drank on a high pitch more than usual.

You realize that, "Sure you do," he smiles slightly.

"I mean the establishment of branches and the secondment of craftsmen, but I leave this to Your Excellency. Acceptance is possible so far, so all you have to do is adjust with your guild."

"I will do that responsibly. Lord Gunter and I have a meeting tomorrow."

Viscount Radford replied on behalf of the Marquis.

The banquet was very exciting.

Not only did we swallow liquor with the Lockhart family, but we heard that distillery liquor would be made to a large extent outside of the Imperial City, where distillery construction plans were already under way, and they were floating.

I continued toasting with the Dwarves for about two hours and finally settled down.

Anticipating that timing, move to where Luna is.

"Are you having fun? When I asked, he smiled and said yes. I talked more from Seawell and finally stopped being odd.

"Is that girl a lockheart, too?" Gunter asked.

"Oh, it's like my family, my sister"

A subtle way of putting it, but that convinced me, I put my hand on her head and told her to "grow up fast and be able to drink" and go away.

I had to laugh bitterly, but Luna is laughing corny.

"I knew Dwarves were alcoholic. But if we can have a drink together, it's gonna be fun."

"Right. I'd like to have a quick, unrestricted drink."

I have doubts in her face about my words.

"Are you restricting it? Doesn't look like it."

"I may have seen it from the side, but I'm still patient with it."

It didn't look convincing in my words, but I laughed even more when I said, "Really?"

(That's a lot brighter. I was worried when I decided to bring him on this journey, but it seemed to turn out good. When I get back to the village, I wonder if I can start training one by one......)

Still not completely open minded, but at least brighter than when I brought him to the village.

"Try making chocolate gelato tomorrow at the Robbins Chamber of Commerce"

"Yes, but then I have to call Master Primrose. I was so excited."

"Right. If you don't call me, I'm gonna be stubborn."

That's what you two laugh at.

"With that said, do you know how to make chocolate cake?

"What kind of cake is that? Is this a pound cake with chocolate in it? Or is it like Zach Torte...... no, is it the type of chocolate hung?

"You're the one who worked it out," but didn't miss hearing what she said “Zach Torte”.

(Perhaps it's time to open it up here. Pretending not to notice too much may also lead to distrust later... but at odd times, the opposite is suspicious. Difficult timing...)

I continued the conversation with a smile even as I thought about it.

Finish your conversation with Luna and go to Dan's.

"How was your accomplishment today?

"Uh..." my eyes swim.

Dan had gone to the Imperial Academy of Higher Studies with Viscount Victoria Radford. To see Viscount Felicia.

"You were beautiful because you're Lady Victoria's daughter, weren't you?

That's what I say and poke my shoulder with my elbow.

"was, yes...... a very beautiful person. I was so calm that I didn't think I was my age... I felt totally out of tune with the countryman, and I think I'd soon be lying..."

Victoria felt like a sophisticated lady, and her daughter must have been an equally sophisticated lady.

"I'm not even talking about doing it here, so let me hear it later. I'm getting involved in dinner tomorrow."

He answers "yes" firmly, even though he is blurry.

(Dan feels used to the city and the nobility. It felt like my hips were pulling before I got here, but it's grand...)

Return to your seat with that in mind.

And see how Sharon sits next to Liddy.

The disturbing feeling last night was gone in the morning, and I was calm when I told him the results of my meeting with the Prime Minister today, but I still felt a little depressed.

You felt that, I feel the Dwarves speak up more than usual.

"If you have any worries, tell Nona. I'll help you."

"Whatever happens to them, they're on your side."

The voice was hung, for example.

Mel next to her also seems to encourage her in a whisper sometimes.

Thanks to that, or just a little, but it looks like it's regaining its brightness.

(Sharon doesn't know about setbacks. I don't think this will blow it off, but I hope it triggers something......)

You felt my gaze, Sharon laughed nicely.

You noticed that, Liddy said to Sharon, "If these people were here, there would be nothing to fear."

(That's true. The prime minister is strong, but I feel like I can do anything with all these trustworthy friends...)

If I thought about that snugly, I would have told Gunter who was behind me at some point, "What are you snug about!," he said.

"It wasn't like I was sober. I just thought drinking with friends was a good thing."

"That's not true, but now have fun drinking! That's the way it is."

"Right," he said.

"Well, shall we get Gunter's bragging brown beer and a skewered Big Horn beef (Great Horn)? Naturally, it's getting better than last year, isn't it?

"Of course not! Somebody get Zach a beer!

I decided to enjoy the banquet, too.
