Dream Life

Episode 84: Wang Hu Nation vs Human-Ma Nation

March 30th.

He is working with the Sorel clan of the suddenly appearing Humane Horse (Centaur) clan. Nineteen people are challenging and fighting better than they thought they would win nine or ten against an unfamiliar opponent.

The battle will now begin between Beatrice, the strongest warrior on the side of the Lockhart family, and Reeva Sorrell, warrior chief of the Sorrell tribe.

"It's Beatrice Lockhart. I'll entertain you," Beatrice laughs niggly.

"It's Leeva Sorrell. Seriously, call me," he provokes.

Leeva is not as big a warrior as the Gius I fought for, but he's about 1 or 8 meters tall and his head is a giant nearly three meters tall.

Compared to a pony body called black deer hair in black reddish brown, the slightly narrower upper body wears armor reinforced with metal and has a spear about three metres long.

The mock battle began with the two of them raising their names.

Leeva stuffed the distance, which was about ten meters in an instant. Not only Beatrice at that speed, but the facades of the Lockhart family cannot hide their surprises.

Someone said, "Fast!" Yelling, "but I think the same thing.

Until then, the warrior had some quick movers, but his explosive flash power was what drew him from the rest of the warrior.

Still, Beatrice, just in the history of the war, was calm.

He is instantly packed with distance and dodges without difficulty as he jumps sideways the spear rolled out to slap him from the top.

It was the only way I could fight back, but I could afford that face.

"That's a brilliant attack!" Shouting joyfully, Leeva responds to it, flipping her horse body about ten meters away.

"Long time no see, whoever avoided my first shot" responds with the same fun and restarts the spear.

Shortly after that, Beatrice moved.

She advances with her spear low. He thinks he'll be at a disadvantage if he turns to the rear, and he's going to go on offense while the enemy stops.

Even when I saw the ramp, Leeva was calm. Turn the horse body slightly diagonally and exit diagonally forward to the right to reciprocate Beatrice's assault. Stick out the longer spear lower and tow it.

Beatrice also reacted to the motion. Instead of heading straight, change direction to the right just as well and escape Leeva's range of spears.

Beatrice didn't just dodge.

When he made a sudden stop on the spot, he rolled out the spear fast enough to see the remnants from the other side.

Leeva dodges the attack without being subjected to spears. The move was astonishing, and we all lost our words.

He dodged by jumping up a spear aimed at the center of his horse's body. Its height is more than two meters.

Seven or eight hundred kilograms of body rose lightly without any preliminary motion, such as escape.

Even Beatrice, who is fighting this fact, flashes up and stops the attack by accident.

Leeva didn't miss that gap. Run towards Beatrice at the same time as landing. Beatrice, who had been poked through the gap, flew away in a critical manner.

But that was an invitation.

Her body, floating in the universe, kicked her in the back leg.

It couldn't be avoided altogether with it floating in the air, and it took a giant blow to the hoof on its flank.

"Woo!" he groans and blows about five meters.

When Leeva hangs a sudden brake, she plunges into the falling Beatrice to stab a stop.

"That's it!," he said, rolling out the spear.

Beatrice grabbed that spear with her left hand from the fall and stuck the spear out to the counter with one right hand. It didn't seem like he was after me, it looked like an unconscious move to me.

Leeva grabbed the spear with her left hand in the same way.

It took the form of snatching two spears from each other.

Beatrice holds the two spears by her sides in a position with her knees on. And I tried to deflect my torso and put my strength into it.

Reeva thought the spear would be broken and over as it was, or she let go of the spear at once and switched to an attack with the hoof on her front leg.

Suddenly the spear was released, but Beatrice seemed to have expected it. Likewise, let go of the spear immediately and take the front leg that is shaken down.

Not only did the Lockhart family, but also from the Humane Horse side, say, "Ooh!" The twist boiled.

The momentum wasn't so great, but I couldn't help but be surprised that I received a giant horse body.

This was the same for Reeva, who is fighting.

"What!" he says and panics, but there are no spears already and no means of attack with his front leg pressed in.

He tried to weigh in on his hind legs in agony. But that was a failure.

Beatrice uses that power to twist her body and overthrow Leeva's body. It was a wrestling or judo kind of move.

Leeva's giant falls in with the sound of Don. Beatrice picks up the spear when she hands off her front leg and sticks it against the fallen Leeva.

"Winner, Beatrice!" Pisano's voice echoes in the meadows.

A few seconds later, cheers came from the Lockhart family side, and praises rose from the Humane Horse side.

"The blow to the back leg worked," Beatrice said, offering her right hand, and Leeva takes it and wakes up her fallen body.

After standing up, he said, "I lost is a decade long," but there was no remorse in its face, and a clear smile.

Shortly after that, Beatrice poked her knee and spewed out pep blood.

I rush over and check my condition. There are huge hoof marks on the side of the leather armor that appear to have broken ribs or cracks in them.

Soon the Mels will also come and take off her leather armor and chainmail.

"It feels like my ribs have been totally hit," he laughs, but he may have stabbed me in the lungs because he's coughed up blood over and over again.

"Keep your mouth shut for a second. Because I'm going to cure you soon," he says, alternating the healing magic of the tree attribute with the water attribute.

You completely healed in about three minutes, and I said, "I'm fine now," and I got up.

You realize it's just under the armor, I'm going to put on some chainmail and leather armor right away.

In the meantime, a healer of the Humane Horse tribe was treating Leeva's legs. He was breaking his front leg when he was knocked down. Just in case, I'll check, but you didn't have to let me get my hands on it with a brilliant treatment.

"That's Lockhart. This is the first time my Sorel warrior chief has been defeated by a man or a beast."

to Pisano's words. My father said, "I just put it back in five minutes,"

"Beating a kid doesn't make you a winner. And those who are first to fourth in sequence, you are the winner. That means our pride won't allow it."

The archers' arm trials were then carried out.

Humans are good at shooting, so they do it in a way that is close to flushing horses (yawning), aiming at fixed targets while running at full speed.

The Lockhart family side on the other hand, but this is the way to get a Humane Horse Warrior with a blowout to run at full speed and aim for it. Both aim at five targets and decide the battle by how much you can guess.

From the Lockhart family side, in addition to Liddy, Mark the squire, Freddy the vigilante and Sharon the sorcerer, Dan, who lost sparingly in the battle with the sword, will also participate.

Five Humane Horse Warriors, who were also good at bowing, were elected to compete.

The result is that the Lockhart family has Liddy and Sharon all hit, and Dan, Mark and Freddy in four for a total of twenty-three. The Sorels are eighteen and the Lockhart family is victorious.

On this, no one on the Lockhart side thought they had won, as the Sorel tribe on the move is more disadvantaged.

On the contrary, so much so that I was in awe of the Sorel warriors who beat out hitting rates of more than seventy percent while walking at speeds of about fifty kilometers an hour.

Most of all, the Sorels were also shouting surprises at Lockhart's Ranged Attack Unit, which knocked out a nearly 90% hit rate on their goal to go full force.

"I didn't know we had all these archers with arms... if we really fight, we have to be prepared for a great deal of damage by the time we get close..."

It is the fruit of the usual training that the Lockhart family was able to deliver such a hit rate. I assumed a wing demon and trained against me and Sharon's magic, so I wouldn't have been so bitter if it was just a goal to run straight.

The series of matches ended in about an hour.

Ten bottles of crystal glass are given to them by the Lockhart family, and the Sorel warriors raise their voice to that beautiful bottle.

Only Pisano, the chief, said, "Can I really have it? I don't know how many hundreds of thousands of kronas I'm going to use. It's a substitute," he says.

I was uncomfortable that the chief of the Humane Horse clan knew the value of the work of art, but I forcefully hand it over when my father said, "You don't have to worry because it's made by my son".

The Sorrels brought in fifteen frog horses to hand them over.

My father tried to solidify it by saying, "Because it's training," but Pisano said, "It's a promise. Plus, it's a funny story that we're the only ones who receive it," he said, forcibly handing it over.

I was afraid.

Frog horses are strategic supplies. Ownership outside the Imperial Army is forbidden in principle, and the deal is subject to severe restrictions. Of course, there are aristocrats who are breeding in the northern regions and are unlikely to be seen as problematic in interacting between aristocrats. In fact, he has conceded four horses as a wedding celebration for his brother.

However, it could have been problematic to take more than ten horses far from the imprint of the Empire, or even closer to the enemy nation, the Kingdom of Lax.

"Wouldn't it be better if we checked with Netherton's deputy?

My father noticed my fear in those words.

"Sure you are," he said,

"You can't just take this many famous horses on your own and go back to your territory. I'm sorry, can I check with Netherton's deputy?"

To my father's words, Pisano says, "Don't worry," and shakes his head to the side.

"I won't let the Imperial deputies complain, and I have nothing to say. Take him with you in peace."

Asked in detail, the Humans and Nomads had full autonomy, which meant that no Netherton deputy would speak for what they gave to the Imperial nobility, regardless if they were to give it to the enemy kingdoms, the Holy King Luke or the Kingdom of Lax.

My father said, "If so," and received it.

We still don't have time to rush into the city, so we'll talk to the main Sorel warriors.

I asked him what he cared most about, how he knew the Lockhart family was coming here.

"When I came to Netherton to coincide with the Spring Festival, the Carcasses taught me. Some rigid people wiped out tens of thousands of undead in just three hundred... and if you ask me further, your lords will enter the city today. This is a good opportunity to go out on the streets..."

The Karcas are a powerful nomadic clan, and they also have a deep relationship with the Humane Horse Clan to help with horse tutoring. And, in good time, the Sorrels were coming to Netherton to attend the Spring Festival, which is on Spring Day. They heard rumors about us from the Karcas, and they heard more information from the merchants who came to sell the merchandise into Netherton today.

And they stumbled across us from our own camp to the streets.

"Tomorrow we'll have a festival outside the city. If you don't have plans, why don't you come check it out?

Originally, April 1st meant the Spring Festival, so I planned to stay in Netherton. For that reason, my father immediately admits, "It's funny".

Afterwards, it thrives on the story of the battle and so on, but as the sun began to tilt, we head to the city promising to reunite tomorrow with the Sorrel tribe.

The city of Netherton is a city with a population of about 3,000, but for an empire there are rarely any walls. For once, something like a fence has been built around it, but it looks very defenseless.

This seems to be the result of the consideration given by the Empire to the humans and nomads.

Including here, the towns in the central region are made after harmony with the humans and nomads. By letting them make it, but declaring that they are not going to take their territory, they are expressing their trust in them.

Around 5pm, I went into the city, but many people were making noise about whether the eve festival was starting.

My father went to the deputy office to greet him and then confirmed about the frog horse, but as Pisano put it, nothing was wrong. I am surprised that it was given to me by the Humans more than that.

"I've never heard of them giving horses to anyone but nomads. We can't even talk when we come to the festival..."

Then head to the Netherton branch of the Blacksmith Guild. There are about fifty Dwarf blacksmiths and about a hundred human blacksmiths in this city. Their main customers are nomads and humans.

They make horse hooves as well as daily groceries such as weapons, protective equipment and pans.

When I left my horse at the inn, it was after 6 pm.

I was tired of mock warfare with the Humans, but I don't have the option of not going even though the Dwarves are waiting.

The blacksmith guild was on the western edge of the city. This is a measure to uphold the rule that the Humans can't get into the city unless there's a special reason, and they can only get in here without permission.

The Guild's buildings can't exactly compare to larger cities like Empire and Ezarrington, but the heavy construction is the same.

There are many dwarves waiting at the entrance, so much so that it can be seen in the distance that they are soothing. I guess I care about the scotch they wait for.

Approaching the entrance, one veteran blacksmith stepped forward. Even when it comes to veterans, it looks very much the same as Dagenhardt in Wellburn. Later I learned that Netherton's Dwarves were relatively young and in their sixties in the parent class.

"This is Carl Krutz, Branch Manager. Well done for coming!

He cheerfully hangs a welcome word, but his gaze nails the carriage behind us. Of course, the other dwarves haven't changed at all.

"Thank you for the welcome," my father says, but I don't waste time talking about them because I'm learning about them.

He immediately pointed to the carriage and said, "I want to present a barrel of Scotch to a sign of friendship," and the Dwarves said, "" Sieg Scotch! "" and raise the anger.

As usual, the faces of the Lockhart family responded with a smile, but the city's people panicked about what had happened.

"What are you talking about? Get inside, please!

Follow Carl's words and go inside, but of course we carry Scotch's barrel. There are officials in this branch too, but because I don't think I can handle the first Scotch I've ever done.

There were about thirty human blacksmiths in the assembly room besides Dwarves. At my age, I guess they're veteran blacksmiths where I said forties to fifties.

The banquet begins as usual.

Only a few of them here, but I'm going to give them the Zach collection, but Scotch from three years would be enough for today.

From here I discount it because it's the usual, but there was a rare liquor that I could only taste here.

There was a brewed liquor made of corn.

Even though it was rare, it wasn't much of a tasty drink. It feels like beer with a strong acidity that smells like corn, and beer made along the Nether River flowing north of town is far better.

However, I was interested because this liquor would be a raw material for corn whiskey.

"How long has this guy been making it?," asks Carl, "Come here for a minute," calls the official who stood nearby.

"Why don't you explain it to Zach?"

To the goodness of that hand-wound "Were you looking into it?" So much so that I heard.

"I heard about Phyllobisher. Naturally," they say as a matter of course.

Apparently he was investigating whether he could still make a new distillery here when he heard about the fact that he could have a distillery in Phyllobisher. The staff seemed to be waiting to explain it to me.

I'm stunned by the hand-winning, and I can't help but grin.

Officials began to explain nervously.

"It's corn liquor, but we call it corn beer around here. But as you drank it, the flavour itself was no big deal and it was only produced in small quantities in the countryside along the Nether River as cheap liquor…"

The Nether River is a river that flows north of Netherton, along which it becomes a barn zone in the central region. The main crops are staple wheat and oats, which are fodder for livestock. Because there are fewer contiguous disorders than wheat, corn for feed is also made, and they are sold to nomads as spare feed for winter.

Corn liquor was not as popular as beer made from wheat, and they were just making beer alternatives out of sold corn. As a result, a stable supply seems to be difficult at present.

I'm relieved that this is going to work out at the end of the explanation.

"In other words, corn beer is low in production and, as things stand, it is difficult to provide a stable supply. Just to confirm one thing, can the corn you are making for feed itself ensure an adequate amount?

"I don't know what's going on in all the villages, but it's not that difficult crop, so I was wondering if it would be easy to increase production."

"Then you can secure the raw materials. It wouldn't be hard to make corn beer a distiller if you could make it steady."

In my words, the Dwarves said, "Ooh! I told you Zach could do it!" and stand up and rejoice.

"It's not until we learn to train artisans and manufacture distillers," he says, stabbing the nail, but he's completely up to the story of being able to have his first scotch and distilled liquor.

(I wonder what the name will be...... I think corn whiskey is fine, but whiskey is not the common name. If it's Corn Scotch, it won't stick... I hope there's a craftsman named Bourbon, but Bourbon won't be able to do it because it's an "Bourbon” English reading...)

While I was thinking about it, Carl and the others were discussing the craftsmen going to Rasmore Village.
