Dream Life

Lesson 21: Naming

Tria history February 20, 2020.

The year 319, which began with the Viscount of the Lockhart family, left, and two months were about to pass after the new year had dawned. Though the winter cold is severe, days of peace continue.

I just missed Lockhart Mansion a little. Because my brother Theophilus, my sister Seraphine, traveled for Fortis.

My brothers traveled about three months ago on November 22nd. To train under Fortis' former mercenary Gideon Dyer.

They are also accompanied by three born in the same year, Dan and Sharon's sister Eunice, Sim and Mel's brother Lyle, and Enos Vassel's daughter Robina.

Eunice Jakes is a beautiful girl with light colored blonde hair and sky blue eyes, but she often burns in the day, and unlike her serious brother Dan or slightly introverted sister Sharon, she gets the impression that she is full of energy. He seems to respect Dan, has learned swordsmanship and bowing with his goal, has been in the woods since he was about ten years old, and has also honed his skills as a scourge. Mel's intel says Theo secretly cares.

Lyle Marron has brown hair and tinted eyes, the tallest of the five. Unlike my father Hector, I train as much as possible with a swordsman. I use the most favored bastard sword in the Lockhart family.

Robina Vassel is a girl with dark golden hair, grey eyes and a lovely feeling. There are some drawn-in ideas, but the core is firm as to whether it is taking over the temperament of my grandfather Walt. Walt, I brush my arms as a magician, just like Enos.

These three, Theo and Serra, have so many arms that they don't think they're twelve. However, no one is surprised because there are examples of me and my brother in the Lockhart family.

Gideon, who will be Theo's masters, but while in the village we also had him put on an archery. Everyone, including my grandfather, was leveling up because of it, and so much so that my grandfather and others really asked me to stay in the village.

whereas Gideon also did not appear to be more than satisfied,

"This is a good place, so I want to move to the mountains, but Fortis has Clyde. He won't be able to take care of me."

Clyde Holborn was one of Gideon's mercenaries, but now he's the guild leader for the mercenary guild. Fortis is a mercenary country, and the guild chief is busy with a lot of things about being a representative of the country.

Gideon has been looked after by Clyde since he was a mercenary and wants to give him some support.

"Well, if Clyde's guy quits guild chief, I might let him come here."

The guild leader's term is five years, so he can't quit for another three. He also said that there were few mercenaries who could understand politics and that other mercenaries told him that there was no substitute for Clyde, and that he would have to continue guild leaders for more than a decade. I mean, it doesn't seem like a very realistic story for them to emigrate.

My grandfather, but in the month that Gideon was around, I was able to use some of the "struggle”.

He says that the power of the slaughter has increased, but the impression he received in the training suggests that the protective equipment is less effective than before. Others have opened their eyes to Walt Vassel, and the effects guided by Gideon have been shown to be fruitful.

Enos Vassel accompanied them as guardians with the five Theos. As his men, his squire Dick Cole and Les Lindsay are also with him.

Dick and Les were young men who became squire last December, twenty-two years old together. All are swordsmen, but Dick uses a large two-handed sword, Les uses a one-handed sword and a shield, with different styles.

It was decided to accompany the young squire with his father's policy of gaining experience.

Enos, but it wasn't just about sending Theo and the others. He went to Welburn, where the northern governor's office is located, because he was to succeed the governor from Walt.

Wellburn would be closer to the north using Aurelia Street, but it took us a long way for Theo and the others.

Though far away, he has now returned safely, working vigorously as my father's deputy, and as the housekeeper of the Lockhart family.

Walt who became a recluse, but it doesn't mean recluse. I have invested more than ever in training vigilantes because I have taken over from Enos the finer things I have been doing until then.

A lot of information was conveyed from that Enos.

First of all, the situation in the northern realm of the Empire seems to have fully recovered. The army of the northern governor's office, which had been marching around last October, returned and did everything in its power to maintain law and order. Bandits who were stuck on Aurelia Street have been driven away, the streets have been normalised, thereby returning commercial activity to its original state, and the northern region, which was gasping for the recession, is also breathing back.

Not bad news among other information, but there was something that bothered me.

That is a rumor about the marriage of a Raswell borderline uncle.

Uncle Borderline is now fifty years old, but has lost his rightful wife five years ago. There is also no side room or mistress, she is in complete bachelorette and remarrying is not strange. Especially so much so that a direct male had only a grandson, Francis, and a brother, former Viscount Constance Tiesburn, who had raised his voice that he should remarry as a duty as a senior aristocrat.

Constance is in hiding because he tried to get rid of us and because he lent a hand to the plot of Luke's Holy King, disqualifying him from succeeding the Borderline Uncle family, essentially only Francis is a direct male.

I'm just surprised to hear the other person's name.

The opponent was Baroness Barbara Harding, the chief samurai. It's not strange in terms of the woman in the closest place, but the fact that the righteous wife of Uncle Borderline, with the equivalent of a marquis, comes from the Baron's house is unbalanced, and I didn't think a wise samurai chief would take it.

In fact, even rumors that Enos had heard were raised by relatives of the Raswell family to view the issue as problematic. He just doesn't have any powerful relatives and hasn't been loud because Baron Ferdinand Oldham, the housekeeper, gave him a glimpse.

When I told Liddy about this, I didn't say anything more in particular just to say, "Yes... you've thought it through".

Barbara turns thirty-eight because she is the same age as Beatrice. At my age, I would catch up with a borderline uncle, but I can't expect much given the birth. In Japan in the twenty-first century, it is not uncommon to give birth in the forties, but in this world there are few examples of first births at the age of thirty-five or older.

I don't know if that makes me want to pinch my mouth. As far as I'm concerned, I don't think Barbara, who supports Borderline Uncle from behind, can be my wife, but I can't deny the possibility that she'll be rubbing it.

Even so, there's nothing I can do.

I mean Luna, but everything's fine except magic. As for her physical abilities, she has risen to a level that is not inferior to that of the village's twelve-year-old girl. Knowledge also understands the basics of this world, and now teaches a little bit about strategy and political strategy. The extent to which she incorporates this into her study of history and geography so as not to be suspicious.

No progress at all on magic. I've tried everything, but it looks like a psychological block is hung during the release of magic. I've also discussed this with Liddy and Sharon, but I've come to the conclusion that I can't use magic without disarming this.

For this reason, in anticipation of when that block was unblocked, he switched to a policy of teaching the importance of spells, how to convey images to the spirits, and magical theories.

I'm still not sure that's okay, but I'm breaking it off that I have to do what I can.

Regarding the management committee of the Blacksmith Guild consulted at the Victory Festival in October, however, it seems that the committee has been successfully decided.

Essentially, they decided on the method I proposed, the number of attributes that could be granted and the type of magic metal that could be handled, with two hundred and forty permanent members and one hundred and twenty non-permanent members, who could only go to a general meeting twice, but could never be rubbed because of the advantages and disadvantages of their arms.

However, I have heard stories of sixty young parents who had previously been commissioners crying over their inability to drink every time and their voices echoed during the Ars.

In addition, the general assembly held elections for the chief craftsman, which decided to re-elect Ulrich Drexler without a vote.

A long-awaited first child is born in Bertram, the nephew of Ulrich.

It was last night that his wife Meena realized that Camilla, a healer and midwife, and Marie, the wife of her son Jeffrey, were summoned. Jeffrey and Marie are also healers, both of whom are on a level with vigilante training and incredibly skilled as healers in the surrounding villages.

Elmer, Camilla's husband and healer as well, contacted me asking Liddy to come too.

Camilla is an experienced midwife who has already taken over a hundred babies, but is anxious that this is the first time a heterogeneous birth named Dwarf has taken place, which means she called Liddy.

Liddy has never been present at Dwarf's birth either, but his arm as a healer is comparable to mine, so I can respond immediately when something unforeseen happens.

Of course, I was at his house as a friend too, but I thought my turn was only in a situation where Liddy couldn't handle it.

Work-related pain begins when the date changes and the men are kicked out of the room. In addition to Beltram, there were Rhoderich and Volker, instructors in the Distiller (Pot Still) course. Their wives, Marga and Nola, were accompanied by Meena, and three Dwarf men and me, and even grandfathers, fathers and brothers who came to see how things were, were left outside the room.

Subtle air flows.

"With that said, you were like this when Theo and Sella were born."

I waved to my fathers to change the air.

"Right. You waited outside then too," my father says, "don't my brother remember much," I also feel that way, "he replies.

My usual rigidity had disappeared in Beltram that I could get a jock out or pull in even talking about it like that. My grandfather notices how bittersweet it is to look restless like that.

"Are you a little restless? There's nothing we can do at a time like this. Camilla is an excellent midwife. And there's Lydia."

"I know..."

"Dwarves are a robust species. Meena and the kids are the dwarves. Don't worry about it. Well, why don't you drink this and calm down?"

That said, remove a three-year bottle of Scotch from the Storage Magic (Inventory). It's careless, but I thought it would be forgiven because it's a dwarf.

By the way, I have ten years in it, but I made it three years thinking that I would be with any of them in Beltram right now.

Beltram snapped a scotch poured into the jock all at once and said, "I'm sorry. I finally calmed down," he laughed.

Immediately after that, I heard the sound of the baby.

After about enough, Liddy comes out, laughs, "He's a healthy boy," and pushes his back to Beltram, "Go quick for him".

We waited outside for now, and after about five minutes we peered inside. There was a beltram figure holding a little baby there, feeling surprised.

So much so that Meena looks fine and says, "I'd like a quick drink." By the way, Dwarf never stops drinking during pregnancy or lactation. I am anxious when it comes to the negative effects on my child, but there is no doubt that sobriety has an overwhelming negative effect on the mother's body and spirit.

If you say you need sobriety before then, it is easy to imagine that there will be no women to have children with.

I decided to think that a race called Dwarf was different from humans, not only because of Meena, but also because there was no story that asking Marga or Nora had an effect on the baby.

Beltram settled down too, so I tried to go home to the mansion, and I was stopped.

Beltram bows his head with a serious look, "Excuse me, will you be the child's named parent?"

"Can I put it on? He's my first child."

"Meena agrees with me. Please."

I ended up being worshipped down and becoming a named parent.

(I want you to say this sooner...)

I thought of that, but I immediately came up with the name.

"How about in Duonis?

"Duonis? It sounds like a good name, but what's the point?

"In the world I was in, it's the name" God of booze and feast. "Well, when you tell someone you don't know my secret, you just tell them I came up with it on instinct."

"You're a booze god! That's good! Duonis...... oh good name! Thanks!"

That's what I said. Hold my hand and shake it up and down again and again.

"Go to Meena's earlier than that. You're waiting."

"Oh," he said, running back to his room.

The story of the birth of Bertram's first child, Duonis, spread throughout the village during that day. There was a queue in his house with people bringing celebratory items - liquor, of course - and at some point the liquor was brought into a training institute nearby for a grand banquet.

There was also Meena holding the duonis on the spot, tilting the jock as she held the child with one hand.

(Are you sure you're okay? It's been less than ten hours since I had a child...)

In the end, we were supposed to join the banquet.

Mel, Sharon, and Luna watched Duonis all the time beside Meena as to whether the baby was cute.

"A really good name. Duonis... Duo, you have given your name to the son of the god of alcohol. You'll never have trouble drinking from now on. Huuuuuuuuuu..."

When I heard that, Marga and Nora said, "Please give my child a name, too". Plus, the Dwarf blacksmiths from Netherton can say, "Please come to us," and bow their heads.

I don't have a problem with Dwarves because they have a low birth rate, one or two a year, but I thought they were going to ask me to do all sorts of Dwarves from now on.
