Dream Life

Episode XXII: Dwarf Festival Again: Skills Assessment Meeting

I withheld the Dwarf Festival tomorrow, March 24th.

In the meadows south of Kanga Hill, even though it was still early in the morning, the setting up of the venue had already begun. The people working in the meadows, of course, feel the entire village of Rasmore is unusually vibrant.

There is a verse in which the general public thinks that the Dwarf Festival is a liquor tasting by the Blacksmith Guild, but the original aim is a skill tasting competition for the arms of blacksmiths.

Determine the distribution of the three-year scotch sold to the Blacksmith Alliance with its "skill = arm” and the "Zach Collection”, a long-running liquor.

Although only Welburn Branch showed its skills at the last First Assessment Meeting, this time many branches took the "Proficient (Expert) Course” where I acted as "Special (Specialty) Master".

Of course, HQ was supposed to participate and show off our weapons. Looks like the blacksmiths at General Headquarters are going to take this opportunity to show off their arms and not let the other branches rob them of their liquor.

Participating branches, but the Imperial Primes branch to the south, the King's Capital Fonce branch of the Kingdom of Lax to the north, the General Headquarters of Ars to the east, and the Commercial City of Aurelia branch to the west for this first participation.

Suffice it to say that most other branches of major cities such as Ezarrington, Fortis, Periclitle, Doctus and Wellburn will participate.

Initially, I thought the second event would take at least three years, but the strong intentions of the Dwarves led the parents of the major branches to finish making the weapons in just two years. I just have to take my hat off that high uplifting, no, obsession with booze.

Skills assessment meetings are not just about arranging weapons. It needs to be shown that it makes something suitable for the user. This means that warriors equipped with weapons are also accompanied.

This means that there are currently more than fifty fierce men in the village of Rasmore who are above level seventy.

Only at this moment right now, but the village of Rasmore is arguably the most powerful village in the world. So much so that I wonder if this force could crush even last year's herd of undead for one day.

Since there is no Gideon Dyer, the most powerful swordsman, or Hamish Markat, the hero of the Kingdom of Lax and Red Arms, there is no such thing as the "most powerful warrior" gathering.

Red Arm Hamish, but he said no when Fonce Branch suggested he wanted to make weapons. The reason, he said, is that even the present arsenal is sufficient and that there are too many requests to leave the Kingdom of Lax for more than a month.

There were many other brilliant mercenaries in the Markat mercenary regiment, who also spoke to them, but were refused that they could not take it even though the captain did not.

I managed to ask another mercenary to take a proficiency course, but as far as I'm concerned, I was very sorry to see an amazing mercenary known as the Red Arms.

Too bad I didn't get to meet the Red Arms face to face, but I have found time for the awesome warriors to arch, including the Buddies, and I am very satisfied with that.

I thought at the time of the audition I would see an awesome battle if I held a militant party like this. It's hard to achieve, but it would have been a great tournament if I could.

Another Gideon, but he hasn't been given any weapons either. That's why I didn't visit the village, but his apprentice Buddy Gore delivered the message.

"He says the master is busy because he trains Theo and the others. I was told to say hello."

"Tell them thank you and your brothers when you get back. My brothers, are you able to keep up with Mr. Gideon's training?

Buddy snorts loudly at my question.

"Oh, those guys are having fun training. Well, it's the master who enjoys it the most..."

Apparently, he's doing well. However, because it is such intense training, he has broken and fainted many times, and his mother's replacement Gideon's wife, Francesca, is always worried. However, I am not worried about my father Masaias or my mother Tanya at all, as it is no different than when I am in the village.

I'm in the mood for a liquor review. Especially since General Headquarters and the Primus branch, which missed the win last year, had taken many merchants with them to fulfill their revenge. Also, the other branches are bringing in a ton of their own prized liquor, so much so that I thought I might not be able to get into the basement reservoir I built.

From the Empire comes Viscount Ignacious Radford, a minister of the Marquis of Seawell and one of the best gastronomers in the Empire.

It was famous that he was unable to attend last year's First Quality Review and shed tears of blood, this time declaring he was bound to attend. For this reason, the date was communicated in advance and came with the wine given by the Lord Seawell accordingly.

Its Viscount Radford, but was surprised to see an underground reservoir that was an ice chamber.

"Are you doing temperature control so strictly! Should I incorporate even Seawell..."

"This place also has an experimental meaning, so I think it's enough in the basement of Seawell Castle. Of course, what I have pointed out is that you will improve it."

"That's already improved. But what does it mean to be experimental?

"I'm not a wine, but I'm thinking about the long-term aging of beer at low temperatures. It seems to be working so far, so I'm going to give it a try later."

Later, a lager type of beer is tasted that is suitable for aging at low temperatures. Experimental meaning is strong this time, as I told the Viscount, and there are things like those that made the hops stronger and dark-colored boxes.

"I see. Now you're going to surprise the Dwarves," the Viscount laughs, but soon becomes a serious look.

"Is it possible to do the same with wine"

"It could taste better at the barrel aging stage, but it's hard here. Because there is no better wine than Seawell."

"I see. I can't get that far now, but you mean you should think about it in the future..."

When I squeal like that, I put my hand on my chin and think in.

"Is that enough for a bottle? This year's wine is from Moulin Village.

The wine that Beatrice found for me this year is a barrel of Mulan Village wine for long-term aging, and four barrels of wine that I made last year in the way I coached. They want the Viscount to mature with my magic and see what the result will be soon.

"We've made it all the way through the journey, so it should be enough. Don't worry, we're already getting ready for bottle filling."

Even so, now that my hands are completely empty, bottle filling will be after the festival.

When the festival is over, we plan to bottle it all at once with the help of the village housewives. Exactly five bat barrels containing five hundred litres are too harsh for us alone. Arrangements are in place because the housewives have helped us out last year as well.

That night he was abducted by the training institute in the name of the eve festival, but he safely welcomed the morning of the day.

Many people had been stuffed in the meadows south of Kanga Hill since morning.

Many have been staying in since last night, but still have not been able to stay out of the village, and many have stayed in nearby Kilnarek and Bogwood.

Did they leave before dawn? They started gathering early in the morning and had swelled up to nearly two thousand at 9 a.m.

Following the Victory Festival, I thought Queen Katrina of the Kingdom of Kaum would not come, but yesterday, a messenger of the Kingdom visited and the Queen herself has already arrived.

I wondered if the queen could come and visit me in a village in another country for a good reason.

"… Her Royal Highness leads a diplomatic corps to negotiate with the Adventurer's Guild of Periclitle. The purpose will be to request the establishment of a branch in the Accommodation Town on Toa Street…"

Toa Street is a street connecting the eastern stronghold Toa Fort from the lodging town of Barbezi on Ars Street. The western side is the barn zone of the Kingdom of Kaum, which has developed considerably, but the eastern side is only a handful of pioneering villages due to its proximity to the dangerous Aquila Mountains.

Moreover, the pioneering village has also been exterminated by an oak raid two and a half years ago, and without the surveillance of demons coming over Aquila, it is easy to imagine that there will be a tragedy in the pioneering village again.

For this reason, the kingdom goes to the Adventurer's Guild for petitions, but it seems unnecessary for the Queen herself to go.

"Doesn't Your Highness have to go all the way out there?" The queen herself answered plainly.

"That the safety of Toa Street and its surroundings is not only important to the kingdom, but also to the towns and villages close to the Aquila Mountains so as to separate life and death? Wasn't Lord Zacharias also previously concerned that there might be a way out somewhere in Aquila? Then I don't think it's strange that I should be judging the Adventurer Alliance directly."

There is no mistake in what you are saying. I myself wonder if there might be a way out somewhere in the Aquila Mountains, especially close to Fort Toa. If a branch of the Guild can be found in the dormitory town on Toa Street and the adventurers will come into the woods, it is likely that we will be able to detect an intrusion of the Demons early.

Last time, during the last oak riots, numerous herds of demons have passed through the outskirts of the village of Rasmore. As things stand, the scouts in Dans Village are conducting regular reconnaissance, and I have secured means of contacting the village with the wolf smoke table I built, but if we find traces of demons near Toa Street, we can increase our alert earlier.

"You're right, but it didn't have to be this time of year?" I asked.

It also feels cynical and even answers.

"Because the Ars streets are dangerous in the middle of winter. Besides, if you ask too cold, no adventurers will come to Toa Street at high altitudes. If you ask me about it now, I might have a few of you here in the summer or so..."

Explain it to flow, but it only sounded like an excuse for me to attend the Dwarf Festival.

"I will now arrange for Her Royal Highness to take a moment to relax in Kanga Hill. If anything happens, it could turn into a diplomatic issue."

That said, for the first time, the queen shows upset.

"Well, you don't have to take such care of yourself. Don't bully me too much, Mr. Zach."

That brings me to tears.

"It's a joke. The escort will take place at home with the knights of the kingdom. So don't move around too much."

In the end, Kati was also to attend the second Dwarf Festival.

(Again, don't be insulted, this queen...)

The Queen's participation was unexpected or unexpected, but important things remained.

Johnny Water, who was the last MC, returned to Wellburn, and this time he hasn't accompanied the Dagenhardts.

You can host me, but this event belongs to the Blacksmith Guild, so I'm an outsider for once.

When I was in trouble, there was someone in my eye.

This is George Valentine, an Alliance official who guided us to a planned distillery building near Wellburn.

I was just in the right place, so I'm asking him to host.

The request was made yesterday, at which time he was surprised with his eyes round.

"Wow, me! In front of as many as two thousand people!" Though I'm surprised, I'm not afraid. He took on my request with pleasure.

The main venue was also created this time with earthly attribute magic, combined with the tent to make it look like a stage.

George's progression kicked off the skill assessment meeting.

"So long, folks. A second Forge Skills Assessment Meeting will be held. Greeting the opening of the meeting from the head of the Ulrich Drexler craftsman…"

As soon as Ulrich finishes his brief greeting, each branch will show off its soul-made martial arts.

The order is determined by the scraps, and the warriors, equipped with the weapons created in the skilled people's course, rise to the stage.

We're on target this time, too.

Ulrich has asked me to "do it flashy" for the purpose of showing off the modified armament by the General Headquarters. When asked if that was okay with the master craftsman who was supposed to be neutral,

"Whatever the liquor of Nona is, the Zach collection hangs. All the other branches are enemies."

For nothing, I said it out loud and clear.

The martial arts show is going well and every time the warriors come out, the villagers and neighbors of the village of Rasmore applaud and cheer.

I knew the pros and cons somehow because I was looking at all the branch armor.

Especially when it comes to magic, I'm the only one who sees everything and understands all its features, including its sophistication and originality.

But since it's a secret that blacksmiths take over from generation to generation, I haven't divulged it to anyone, including Liddy, for more information.

However, only the theory was compiled and recorded in the report. This was because the blacksmiths had no solid theory just drawing magic formations based on their experience.

I intend to give it to the Blacksmith Guild for the theory I put together. To get the guilders to decide whether to publish it or to use it exclusively at the training institute here in Lasmore Village.

Of course, I am also thinking of sending it to Professor Raspade of Doctus, subject to non-publication, if the permission of the guild is granted.

In the Wellburn branch order, with the appearance of my grandfather, father and brother, the venue cheers louder than ever before.

Tried and slaughtered just like last time, the three of them graced and then went down to the sleeve of the stage.

Then it was Buddy and the others' turn to come from Fortis. Fortis Branch blacksmiths were relatively young, and only Rudiger, Branch Manager, could confer a dual attribute. This is because good mercenaries procured weapons in Ars with headquarters, and a veteran class of about level fifty was their main opponent in Fortis.

They re-learned from the fundamentals of magic formation in a skilled person's course, and stunningly improved the magic formation conveyed in oral biography. He is also challenging the processing of adamantite, even though he has barely even dealt with misrills.

The appearance was compelling, and I felt strongly intent on increasing Scotch's allocation at all.

Buddy's large two-handed sword is made of its Adamantite and is huge enough to match the sword of Byron Seedorf's famous Ars artist, Huzeif.

"Not quite, but Fuzeif's would do better," Ulrich whines.

When a target is targeted with steel armor, it is slashed and torn in two together with Buddy's power. The blacksmiths go up on the stage to see the situation, but there was no detail to look at just a glance. Rudiger has a remorseful look on his face.

I think I did well, but I know I'm no match for the swords of legendary craftsmen like Ulrich and Oigen.

Followed by Fonce Branch, Periclitle Branch and Ezarrington, it was the turn of the General Headquarters. In addition to the six Zachsextedt, Nicholas and Byron rise to the stage.

Here again, the Lockhart family's officials raised a great deal of cheer. As Ulrich told me before the trial slaughter, other than Sharon, who does not have a sword, and Liddy, who has a sword of wind attributes, let the magic come together and wave. Colorful bands of light remained as remnants, and the audience boiled further.

Finally, the Aurelia branch rises on the stage. Those who told me they couldn't attend last year's Dwarf Festival and cried.

Even more unfortunately, I was scheduled to attend last October's Victory Festival, but I couldn't attend it either. At the time, Aurelia Street was sealed off, because it was turning back because of rough weather, even though it chose the sea route.

He has taken a skilled person course to coincide with this Dwarf Festival and remains in attendance.

Third time honesty means I am more in the mood than any other branch, very well done. In addition to the bi-attributes, Zamuel Obitz and Theodorich Lamel, in particular, handled magic metals well.

Theodorich, but he is the former head of the Paxlumen branch of the Holy Capital of Luke's Holy Kingdom, or Luke's blacksmith guild. It has moved to Aurelia during the Lockhart family heresy certification case, but its strength is comparable to that of the parents of the General Headquarters.

But they didn't have the adventure of using adamantite. I tried it once, to be exact, but thought that the misrills I have dealt with many times would be more appreciated than using metals I have never dealt with.

That's just what I do as a blacksmith in the city of merchants, and I admired that realistic decision.

And here comes the time in question. Discussion begins on how to distribute the scotch.

"Whatever happened to Dagenhardt and Zamuel, we haven't got anything else yet."

The blacksmiths from the General Headquarters put up a jock to endorse Ulrich's words.

"Especially since the branch that tried to use the disproportionate Adamantite had to redo its training. You can do the passing score, but you know best that you don't have to compare it to the sword of Non."

The Rudiggers can say the words.

"So in Scotch's allocation, the total headquarters is 50% …" he said, raising one hand and opening his fingers wide.

In that word, the Dwarves of each branch said, "Oh, my God!" and kills.

"Stay calm!" Ulrich sipped, leaving the killer still but quiet.

"10% Wellburn, 10% Aurelia, divide the rest evenly in each branch. This shall be valid until the next skill assessment meeting. Anyone who disagrees is here to make an offer!

The Wellburn and Aurelia branches make me laugh as if I were convinced, but the Dwarves of the other branches are staring at Ulrich as if he had been shot dead. However, they were silent with their teeth eating up as they made a critical noise because they were no match for the Ulrich in their own arms.

I couldn't watch, and I pinched my mouth, "Ulrich's ruling, but I agree," he said.

"I can't tell who the blacksmith's arm is, but at least the way the magic formation is drawn is one or two steps ahead of headquarters. Especially the three magical formations Ulrich, Gaelnote and Oigen can be called the domain of art. I assure you that these three are not dreams in the near future."

(iv) Upset runs to blacksmiths outside of the total headquarters for the word attribute. Because we cannot satisfactorily assign two attributes.

"It's just hard to say that I understand what I've learned in the Skilled People course, although I can tell everyone. Few people in particular understood the meaning of the tattoo. In that sense, understanding the magic formation could dramatically improve anyone"

My words change the color of the Dwarves' eyes.

"How do I know! I heard about it in training, but I still don't understand it."

"We will have to understand one by one with trial and error..."

When I say that, everyone drops their shoulders disappointingly.

"I just wanted to say... I made a report summarizing the fundamentals of the magic formation. I'm going to keep it at General Headquarters, so you have to decide what you want to do with the guild."

The blacksmiths then discussed it with a serious look, and my report was to distribute copies to each branch. However, they make it a condition that they only disclose it to the owner of more than one arm.

When asked why,

"It doesn't make sense to teach magic formations to those who can make swords and armor in a busy way. The blacksmith's job is to beat metal and process it."

I was convinced, I see, but the suspicion arises that maybe he feared more rivals. When I tried to ask about it, Ulrich gained momentum.

"Then that's it! We're starting a liquor review next!

The Dwarves said, "" Ooh!, "he shouted and lifted the jock.

I feel somewhat deluded, but I made no mistake about what I was saying, so I decided not to ask.
