Dream Life

Episode 44: First Home in a Year

I have been going to the Blacksmith Guild every day over the past few days to analyze Ray Arklight's magic formation. In conclusion, the analysis went a long way.

Especially the armor, "Nixwestis," has completed 90% of the analysis.

Of the magic formations depicted in the armor, we know from the outset that it is hardening and self-repairing for metallicity and wood attributes. Because it was almost identical to the magic formations we use.

Thereafter, the analysis has been completed until the fire attributes adjust temperature, the water attributes improve heat resistance, the soil attributes reduce weight, the dark attributes protect the spirit, and the light attributes exalt the spirit. However, it has not yet been determined what effect only the wind attribute will have.

On the other hand, we often do not know about the spear magic formation named "White Horn (Albumcorne)".

We know that metallicity, wood and earth attributes are the same as armor and that light and fire can emit phenomena, i.e. magic formations for attack, but wind, dark and water attributes are neither emission systems nor even tipped.

Not entirely about the magic formations depicted on his left hand, but I can grasp what effect they have.

As I intuited when I first saw it, I could confirm that it had the ability to give magic to the Spirit. However, no verification has yet been carried out. Sharon proposes to experiment on this.

"Mr. Beatrice, or Mel, if you could help me, I think we could still experiment here?

That being said, I wasn't going to experiment with Ars.

"Sure I can, and I don't think there's a problem with adjusting the output, but I'm not going to experiment until I get back to the village"

"Why?

"I guess the primary reason isn't like talking to the blacksmiths. Besides, there's Mr. Kati in this city."

"Is that Mr. Kati?

"That's right. I don't want that guy to know if he can. Well, Mr. Kati wouldn't use this information weirdly, but I feel like I shouldn't be spreading it somehow."

"Why not? Asked," but cramped with answers.

"I don't have a particular reason... I think we should be cautious"

"Right. Because the village is safer, and we're just going to postpone it by about half a month," he acknowledged.

This analysis of the magic team is likely to greatly contribute to improving the technical skills of the blacksmiths.

Especially with regard to protective equipment, celebrities such as Gaelnote Graver and Georg Stoke are trying out the magic formations that have been analyzed.

The most dramatic effect was the weight reduction of earthly attributes. There has been a magic formation of weight loss before, but it hasn't worked that great. But the magic formation of Arklight has turned out to be more than twice as effective as ever.

When that magic formation was incorporated into Beatrice's chainmail, it had a mitigating effect of about 20%.

I use Mithril, a lightweight metal compared to steel, and even her physique only has about ten kilograms, which can be reduced to about eight kilograms. It weighs about half as much as steel.

"This guy is nice. I've never thought of it as anything heavy before, but I'm going to forget I'm wearing it."

Forgetting what you are wearing is a big deal, but I am pleased that the original flexible gauge note chainmail has become lighter, which has increased mobility.

In addition to the hardening of metal and the self-repair of wood attributes, the water attribute has been given heat resistance enhancement, which makes it a protective tool for the four attributes.

Georg, who made my armor, reinforced it the same way.

In addition to curing and self-repair, weight reduction was added. My armor is made from black dragon leather, which was originally light, but the lighter weight made it cut more into motion than ever.

Liddy's armor has been reinforced and his safety has increased.

About the weapon, but this one hasn't been particularly fortified. This is because I've had it rebuilt before, but not enough area to draw a magic formation to add any more features before that, and there's no room to embed a demonic crystal stone commensurate with the output.

About this one, the Ulrich. The blacksmiths, mainly weapons, are thinking about the idea of drawing magic formations compactly.

The autumn Dwarf Festival proposed by the Queen, but the day after that a circular was issued to all branches of the Blacksmith Guild.

He asks me to narrow down the number of people, but I have no idea how effective it would be if it meant a festival dedicated to alcohol.

The Summer Solstice Festival on July 1st was very exciting with the Dwarves.

One reason is that the Fall Dwarf Festival takes place to a greater extent than usual.

For this reason, the Dwarves are in a good mood all the time and their voices are hung over and over in the banquet seats.

"I'll take your pride. Stay tuned."

"Think of a new knob. Sure, you can have some new booze."

For once, after returning to the village, we intend to communicate the number of people we can accommodate to the General Headquarters, but it is certain that it will be a massive festival, and more than two thousand Dwarves will likely visit the village of Rasmore.

It has also been decided that, in October, about ten officials will be sent from the General Headquarters as staff of the Dwarf Festival Executive Committee.

I haven't acknowledged this, but as far as the Dwarves' willingness is concerned, I feel like it's useless to say anything.

July 2.

I leave Ars today to return to my home village of Rasmore.

As usual, I was dropped off by the Dwarves at Daimon.

This time there are not only parent classes, but also relatively young blacksmiths, who say, "See you in the fall!" He calls out with a full grin.

If you see that face, it's hard to say it's going to shrink.

"I took care of you," he says to Ulrich, and rides the horse.

The horses have been out of town for exercise the past few days, but you know they're leaving, I'm in a better mood than usual.

"I'll take care of the Lunas, too. Well, I asked for the Dwarf Festival."

He left the city of Ars waving at the Dwarves.

After leaving the city, relax and head north on the streets.

The early summer sun is dazzling, but sometimes within the high altitude Kaum kingdom, and the heat is not so severe.

Previously the streets of Ars could not be said to be secure, but the reform of Queen Katrina had made them exceptionally safe. Many times in the streets it is different from the Black Steel Knights patrol team, and that is one of the factors that relieves tension.

Sometimes the streets were safer and the journey to the village of Rasmore went well.

Once the weather collapsed dramatically, there was no other trouble-like trouble, and I returned to the village of Rasmore, which I miss after noon on July 14th.

Once in the village, just like a year ago, the beautiful hills come into view.

In addition to the contrast caused by the differences in crops, colorful flowers were planted in the garden, which was as glamorous as a theme park or a tourist farm.

As we entered the village, the villagers who found us said, "Welcome home!" He greets me with a wave.

There are many faces I've seen and the feeling of being back in my hometown boils down.

"I think you're home," Liddy smiled, "This is my home town," Beatrice nodded.

Mel and Sharon were happily talking about "the house over there is being rebuilt" and "the shop is getting bigger."

Through Kitagaki hill, you can see Kangakakakaki hill.

The pure white Lockhart Castle shines amidst the dark greenery of the summer trees, and the red brick Scotch reservoir at the foot of the hill offers a stunning contrast in a calm feel. The reservoir was one more building than last year.

Diving through the open castle gate, the vigilante standing on guard greeted me with such a salute that it sounded pissy.

But soon, with the usual frankness, he said, "Is it a new horse? You're another amazing horse," he laughs.

"Right. It's such a waste to me," he said with a laugh, climbing the hill with his horse as it was.

My father was waiting in line for me in front of the castle to see if there was a report from the watchtower.

There are ministers lined up behind my fathers. Some of them looked nostalgic Dan. I didn't seem to be in the woods today.

My grandfather also greeted me by interrupting my vigilante training and later a muddy squire or vigilante stands smiling.

As soon as I get off the horse and give the reins to my squire, I stand before my father.

"I'm back now. I'll do what I can."

That's all I said, but did my father understand with it, saying, "I'm back often" and slapping me gently on the shoulder.

My mother held me tight and said, "Welcome home," slightly shivering her voice. I sent out letters on a regular basis, but unlike before, probably because I had gone thousands of kilometres away.

"There will be stories to accumulate, but first, sweat it out. Then I listen to you."

Go to our house next to the castle in the words of my father.

They are taken care of so that you can come back whenever you want, and I don't feel any dust or mildew smell when I open the door.

When I went to my room and opened the window, the nostalgic landscape made by the four hills and meadows was spreading.

(I'm back... I knew this was my hometown...)

I forgot to remove my gear and was blurry looking at the nostalgic landscape.

"Hurry up! I'll be there first," Liddy said to me, hurrying off the gear.

When we went outside, Liddy and the others were already ready and waiting.

"It's late. The only time I can use the Baths is before I finish my vigilante training. I'll be right back."

That's what bath lover Beatrice says and starts walking.

We still have more than two hours before the vigilante finishes his training, so we don't need to rush it so fast, but I won't point it out because it's true that we're late.

I thought in the bathroom I would be singling out the man water, but I had a visitor. As I go in wondering who it would be, there's Dan relaxing in the water.

Looks like my father or my mother's plan.

Welcome home, Master Zach.

"I'm home," he replies with a smile, slightly confused by the feeling of calmer than before.

"Are you and Elena getting along?" and connect the places.

"Yeah, we're getting along. I'm going to be a father by the end of the year."

Smile like that.

"Congratulations. Well, Dan's going to be a father too..."

"That's right. Master Zach should have married first, but something's wrong...... hahahaha"

That's what I say and laugh out of the blue.

"Well, in my case, you didn't calm down. So, when are you due to be born?

"I'm talking about Mr. Camilla, and he says it's about the middle of October. Just around the time of the Victory Festival..."

Camilla, a healer, is also a veteran midwife, and if she stands out, she will make no mistake.

After talking to Dan about no other love, we take a bath together.

Cicadas are ringing well in the forest of Kanga Hill. The sun is strong and the raw warm wind blows through, but as we approach the moat built around the hill, the slight but cool wind strokes our cheeks.

A stall was already out near the moat and beer was available. The stalls will be set aside for post-training vigilantes to drink, but they seem to have come a little earlier today than usual for us. It's this beer, but it's cooled in every hill in the ice room I made, and you can taste the crisp, chilled beer even at this time of the summer.

"It's for you," Beatrice said, handing me the jock. Lager type beer is poured side by side.

When Dan also gave me the jock, Liddy put up the jock and

"It's been a long time since I've been home. And here's to celebrating Zach Sextet's reunion!

We put up the jock the same way and said, "" Cheers! "" Summarize.

"Puha! Best beer you can have here. Hahaha!" said Beatrice, drank all at once, laughing lavishly, heading to the stall.

I drink beer all at once, too. I would like to drink some more, but now that I have reports for my fathers, I thought I would weigh myself down. But when Mel says, "You're going to put in a replacement," he takes the jock and heads to the stall.

"I haven't properly reported it to my fathers yet..."

"It's okay. I don't get so drunk that I can't talk with two or three beers."

"I think so too. I feel like drinking a little more today."

Looks like Liddy and Sharon are going into their second cup too.

"It's the same," Dan laughs, but he also says, "I'm going to drink some more today" and head to the stall.

As I sat on the bench next to the moat, Mel offered me a jock by saying "I'm sorry to keep you waiting". Receive it and mouth slowly.

Mel sits on the side, and Liddy and the others are lenient on another bench.

"You've never had a beer with just the six of us like this."

Mel replies to my soliloquy, "Right," and mouths the jock.

"Because I went into Mr. Luna's training so much that I was old enough to drink. There's been a lot going on since then..."

She also seemed to have something to think about, talking as she looked up into the sky.

And turn to me.

"This is where you relax, isn't it?"

"Oh, I'm going to. I think it's up to Dwarf to relax."

Liddy and the others are joining me and Mel.

"Right. The next Dwarf Festival looks really tough. But if it's fun, isn't that good?

"I'm done with what you can do. God wouldn't have told me to do anything more."

"Is it all over," Dan heard Beatrice with a serious look.

"The gods told me not to get any more hands on you. So there's nothing I can do."

Dan had a relief look on my words,

"So from now on, are you dedicated to brewing alcohol?

"Well, there's also that, but there's a lot I want to do. We've got plenty of time, and we're gonna take it easy."

We drank beer while we talked about that and headed back to the castle.
