The name spread through the crowd like wildfire as people recognized him from the news.

"That’s the kid who killed Xander from the Olympian faction!"

Dickenson stared at the young man who was none other than his fellow neighbor’s son with equal shock.

"Caelus! What are you doing here? Why did you destroy the auction house? What was that black hole just now? Stay back where it’s safe!"

Commander Valeria’s hand moved to her sword, her expression in disarray as she assessed the situation.

"Caelus..." Lunari seeing him called out weakly.

Caelus didn’t acknowledge any of them.

His eyes remained fixed on the demon leader.

The demon leader climbed out of the debris, his shield flickering weakly as he recovered from the gravitational assault.

He looked up at Caelus and froze completely.

An instinctive fear gripped his heart, something he hadn’t felt since he was a child learning to fear the old stories.

"Who are you?" he demanded, but his voice wavered slightly despite his attempt to sound commanding. "What was that power you just used?"

Caelus didn’t answer him at all.

His gaze shifted to the nearest demon, a Master Rank creature with ashen skin and burning yellow eyes.

[Template Changed: Defensive Mode]

[Skills Equipped: Star King’s Sword Vault, Origin Sever, Golden Light Palm]

[Attribute Equipped: Lightning]

[Traits Equipped: Star King’s Sanctuary, Telekinesis]

Lightning crackled across his palm as Buddha’s golden light merged with electrical energy, creating a brilliant fusion of Dharmic and elemental power.

[Skill Activated: Golden Light Palm]

He then thrust his hand forward.

The demon tried to raise its shield.

The palm tore through it like paper.

CRACK!

The demon’s body split in two, the upper and lower halves separating in a spray of dark blood as the golden lightning continued through and obliterated the wall behind it.

Caelus stood amidst the falling debris as he activated his transformation.

[Chaos Dragon Body Activated]

Small blue horns emerged from his forehead, circuit-like patterns extending around their base.

His pupils became vertical dragon slits, glowing with an inner light that made looking directly at them uncomfortable.

"Caelus...?" Dickenson whispered, his voice barely audible as he stared at the young man he thought he knew.

Commander Valeria’s sword arm trembled despite her years of combat experience.

She had never seen anything like this.

She had considered this boy a potential threat before when reviewing his file.

Now she understood just how right her instincts had been.

He really was a threat and but a threat to the demons!

The demon leader stared at the transformed Caelus with wide eyes.

"You... you’re a dragon?"

The words echoed through the hall as everyone heard them clearly.

"A dragon?" The others repeated.

Caelus didn’t acknowledge any of them or their shocked exclamations.

He turned toward the remaining demons, seven Master Rank creatures who had recovered from the initial chaos and raised their shields in defensive formations.

They prepared their skills with desperate urgency.

Chaos Flames erupted around Caelus’s body and Telekinesis wrapped around the nearest demon and lifted it into the air.

Gravity Domain activated, the pressure around the remaining Master Rank demons increasing fivefold.

He raised one hand and made a twisting motion, as though grabbing and crushing something invisible.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

Five demons died simultaneously, their bodies crumpling inward as gravitational force and telekinetic pressure destroyed them from the inside.

The remaining two tried to flee but Caelus extended his other hand as he activated his spatial attribute.

Spatial energy gathered at his fingertips before lashing outward in invisible blades.

The fleeing demons were bisected before they took three steps, their upper bodies sliding away from their lower halves in grotesque synchronization.

Caelus continued walking toward the demon leader as she spoke. "Your kind shouldn’t exist on this planet."

His voice carried no emotion.

He had seen it all in that vision.

The endless death that stretched beyond horizons.

The mountains of corpses that reached toward burning skies.

They fed on humans and slaughtered them without any reason or morality, treating sentient lives as nothing more than food.

Most importantly, he felt overwhelming rage the moment he looked at this creature standing before him.

He was going to kill it.

No matter what it took.

The demon leader hearing his words stared into his draconic eyes.

His mind flashed back to ancient memories passed down through demonic bloodlines over countless generations. Stories from the First Era of Enders that parents told children to frighten them into obedience.

The strongest ancestors of demonkind had fought a dragon once.

A being capable of ending the world with a single breath.

A being that had nearly driven their entire race to extinction before vanishing from history.

The Ender of Origin.

His face went completely pale as the realization struck him.

"N-No way. It can’t be."

Everyone watching was dumbfounded.

A King Rank demon was looking at someone with a Master Rank combat score, someone who was only at Elite Rank, with genuine fear?

They couldn’t comprehend what they were witnessing.

But then rage twisted the demon leader’s features as he rejected what his instincts were telling him.

"No!" he roared with all his might. "It can’t be true! You’re just a kid with a Master Rank combat score!"

He thrust both hands forward as demonic energy gathered between his palms.

[Skill Activated: Abyssal Sphere]

A massive orb of concentrated demonic energy formed rapidly and shot toward Caelus like a missile of pure destruction.

BOOM!

The impact created a shockwave that sent debris flying in all directions, kicking up clouds of dust and smoke.

"Caelus!" Sylvia shouted from the upper floor.

But then golden light pierced through the darkness like a beacon.

[Trait Activated: Star King’s Sanctuary]

A shimmering barrier of starlight surrounded Caelus, absorbing the devastating attack completely while protecting him from harm.

He stood within the protective dome, only slightly injured from the residual force that had leaked through.

"You!" The demon leader’s eyes widened in shock. "How did you survive that attack? I am a King rank!"

Caelus didn’t bother answering such a pointless question.

Instead, he charged forward with only one thought consuming his mind.

Kill the demon in front of him.

He would go to any length to accomplish that goal.

BOOM!

Sonic booms erupted as he closed the distance in an instant, the air itself tearing apart from his speed.

The Ruyi Jingu Bang appeared in his hand, responding to his will.

"Ruyi, get bigger!"

The staff expanded rapidly, growing from a simple weapon to the size of a massive tower that cast a shadow over the entire ruined hall.

"What is that weapon?" someone gasped in the crowd.

"I’ve never seen anything like it!"

The demon leader caught it with both hands, its feet cratering the floor as it absorbed the impact.

Just then, he grinned with savage triumph.

It leaped onto the top of the staff and sprinted along its length toward Caelus, its movement was so fast that sonic booms erupted with each step.

The sound alone shattered nearby windows of other nearby buildings.

"Ruyi, get smaller."

The staff instantly shrank.

The demon leader lost its footing immediately, its forward momentum carrying it into empty air as the surface beneath its feet vanished.

It tumbled through space for a fraction of a second before catching itself with telekinesis.

"You’re not the only one with telekinesis!" he snarled with fury. "I’ll show you the true difference between a King and a Master!"

[Skill Activated: Demon King’s Descent]

Dark energy exploded from his body in waves as he launched himself at Caelus with tremendous speed.

Their fists collided in midair.

CRACK!

The shockwave shattered every remaining window in the building simultaneously, glass raining down like deadly snow.

Caelus was sent flying backward.

The demon leader pressed forward immediately, his speed overwhelming as he closed the distance again.

[Skill Activated: Void Chains]

Chains of pure darkness erupted from the floor around Caelus, wrapping around his limbs and binding him in place.

"Now you die!"

The demon’s fist descended toward Caelus’s head with killing intent.

CLANG!

A barrier of pure light materialized between them at the last possible moment.

[Skill Activated: Divine Reflection Barrier]

The demon’s attack rebounded with equal force, sending him stumbling backward in surprise.

A young woman in traditional Japanese clothing stood there, her hands pressed together in a complex seal. She had long black hair that flowed past her waist and calm, focused eyes that showed no fear.

"It’s Ayame from the Shinto Faction!" someone from the Auction Hall exclaimed.

At the same time, the Taoist from before also took his action.

[Skill Activated: Celestial Binding Seal]

Golden talismans shot through the air like guided missiles, attaching themselves to the demon leader’s body in rapid succession. Each one glowed brightly with celestial power, restricting his movement significantly.

"I am Zhang Wei of the Taoist Faction," The Taoist introduced himself swiftly. "Thank you for keeping the Demonic Leader busy, Young Friend, we will handle it from here."

Ayame turned to Caelus with concern in her eyes.

"Can you still move, my friend?"

But Caelus didn’t respond to her words at all.

Right now, a powerful power was stirring within him.
