Chapter 322: Level Up And Changes in Transformation and Origin Sever
BOOM!
A powerful force erupted from Caelus’s body without warning.
A shockwave of pure energy sent both Ayame and the Taoist flying backward through the air.
They crashed into the rubble with painful thuds, gasping for breath as they struggled to understand what had happened.
[Ender Passive Triggered]
[The Ender Of Origin does not follow the rules of the domain.]
[Conditions Met]
[Rank Advancement Initiated]
Golden light exploded from Caelus’s body like a supernova, illuminating the entire ruined hall.
[Rank: Elite → Master]
[Level: 1 (0/200)]
[Combat Score: +3]
[HP Fully Restored]
[CA Fully Restored]
[Chaos Faction Benefit: All Cooldowns on everything has been Removed]
Everyone in the ruined auction house felt the change in Caelus.
"Did he just break through into Master Rank?"
"Huh? How is that possible? You need an ascension token and complete the Ascension Quest first!"
"Was he hiding strength?"
"That has to be it right?"
Caelus felt the power flooding through him, his injuries healing as his rank solidified.
But he wasn’t finished.
[Chaos Dragon Body Calibrated to Master Rank]
[+25 Combat Score (Master Rank)]
[Current Combat Score: 54.92 (Master Rank)]
His total combat score had reached new heights, but he wanted more power to crush the enemy before him.
The Demonic Leader was a King Rank with the combat score of 3 of King Rank.
Maybe he could use the dragon’s power without fully transforming into the Half-Dragon form.
The moment that thought crossed his mind, the Ender of Origin stirred once more within his soul.
Black scales erupted across his skin in response to his desire.
But this wasn’t a full transformation at all.
It was just a Draconic armor or rather his body mutated in a way the scales of his draconic body looked like an armor.
This was the dragon’s power without the triple amplification to his stats.
But the combat score was still there!
[Dragon-Human Mode Activated]
[Combat Score of Dragon Form applied without stat amplification.]
[Current Combat Score: 104.92]
[Warning: This form places extreme strain on the human body. Duration limited.]
The small cellular structure of his human body was not meant to contain this level of draconic power for extended periods.
Every second he maintained this form wore down his body further.
He didn’t care about the cost.
Commander Valeria’s voice cut through the chaos with undisguised shock.
"His combat score has reached King Rank! That’s impossible!"
Everyone’s expression changed at the words of her.
Ayame who was near Caelus formed a telepathy connection.
"Friend, how much can your body handle exceeding the limitations of combat score?"
"I can handle quite a bit." Caelus glanced at her and replied swiftly.
"Then I will grant you a buff."
She waved her hands as golden light shot into Caelus.
[Ding! You’ve been blessed by the Avatar of Amaterasu]
[Current Combat Score: 104.92 -> 304.92 (Master Rank)]
[Limit Exceeded]
[Converting to King Rank Combat Score]
[Combat Score: 3.04 (King)]
[Danger! You have one minute to use this power before you explode from cell disintegration]
But Caelus didn’t care.
One Minute was enough!
Just then, the demon leader ripped the Celestial Binding Seals from his body with tremendous effort, his face twisted with rage and disbelief.
"You... what exactly are you?"
His voice cracked with barely contained fear.
"No way! How did you break into Master Rank and reach a King Rank combat score?"
"This shouldn’t be possible! How are you ignoring the rules of the Origin Network?!"
Caelus raised his hand in response.
[Skill Activated: Chaos Ring]
Dark-Blue energy swirled around him, condensing into physical constructs that defied normal reality.
Chains of chaos materialized first, each link pulsing with erosive power that could dissolve anything they touched.
Next he summoned spears that floated around him in circles.
Following up with that was a massive blade above his head.
The constructs hummed with barely contained destruction that made the air itself tremble.
Every object had Chaos Erosion, draining HP and MP from anything foolish enough to touch them.
The demon leader seeing attacked without hesitation.
He didn’t want to loose his life here.
[Skill Activated: Crimson Lock]
Red chains shot toward Caelus, designed specifically to seal his telekinesis and render him helpless.
The demon leader already had gotten five hits on Caelus prior to this.
But Caelus wasn’t relying on telekinesis anymore.
The Chaos constructs moved on their own according to his will.
Spears launched forward in rapid succession, each one trailing black fire that left scorch marks in the air itself.
The demon dodged three of them with desperate agility, deflected two more with his bare hands, but the sixth pierced his shoulder deeply.
The erosion began immediately, eating away at his flesh.
"What is this power?" He ripped the spear out with a scream, but the damage continued spreading across his body.
Caelus pressed forward without mercy.
The massive Chaos blade descended from above like divine judgment.
The demon raised both hands, catching it between his palms with tremendous effort.
His shield flickered, cracked, and shattered completely under the pressure.
[Skill Activated: Origin Sever]
Caelus targeted the concept binding the demon’s skills, attempting to sever them from existence.
But the effect only lasted three seconds before the demon’s superior rank overcame it.
Caelus’s jaw tightened with frustration.
It was always like this whenever he faced stronger opponents.
Why wasn’t his power working properly against those who outranked him?
There was even a skill called Crimson Lock that could stop his telekinesis completely, and yet he was the one with the ability to erase concepts themselves.
His Origin Sever should be absolute.
It should be unquestionable.
The frustration and desire for more power triggered his power of Origin once more.
[Origin Sever Evolution Triggered]
[Duration Extended: 20 seconds against enemies not significantly stronger than user]
[New Effect Added: When target’s health falls below 10%, permanently remove the concepts you used Origin Sever all]
[Skill Activated: Origin Sever]
Caelus’s eyes widened at the sight then he smiled coldly.
Without hesitation, he used Origin Sever.
One by one, he put down a lockdown on the Leader’s skills.
"What?" The demon leader’s face went completely white with terror. "My skills have been locked for 20 seconds?!"
Caelus appeared before him instantly.
A Chaos chain wrapped around the demon’s throat tightly.
The erosion ate away at his HP with every passing second, the damage accumulating rapidly.
Caelus’s fist connected with his chest.
CRACK!
Ribs shattered from the impact.
Another punch followed immediately.
CRACK!
The demon coughed up black blood as more bones broke.
He tried desperately to fight back, but without his skills, he was just a physical body.
A strong one by any normal measure.
But nothing compared to a dragon in draconic armor.
Caelus grabbed his arm and twisted sharply.
SNAP!
The demon screamed in agony as his arm bent at an impossible angle.
Caelus felt his draconic armor beginning to crack under the strain.
His cells were rapidly reaching their absolute limit.
But the demon’s HP had fallen below 10%.
[Origin Sever Evolution Effect Activated]
[Permanent Skill Removal Triggered]
[Target has permanently lost: Demonic Telekinesis, Abyssal Sphere, Demon King’s Descent, Void Chains, Crimson Lock.]
The Demon leader’s eyes went wide with absolute horror.
"My... my skills gone forever..."
As his words fell, Caelus released the draconic armor completely.
Black scales dissolved into particles of light, leaving him in his normal human form.
His body ached tremendously from the strain.
But in the end, this was his victory.
The demon leader lay broken at his feet, barely clinging to life.
Caelus looked down at him with cold indifference that showed no mercy.
"You can die now."
He reached down calmly.
His hands closed around the demon’s head.
And pulled with all his remaining strength.
CRACK!
The head separated from the body with a sickening sound.
Blood splashed across Caelus’s face in crimson streams.
He stood there holding the severed head, his expression completely empty of emotion.
Caelus dropped the head without ceremony.
It rolled across the floor, leaving a trail of black blood behind it.
He turned toward the World Fragment, still floating within its damaged containment field despite the destruction surrounding it.
There was something inside that Fragment and right now it was calling out to him.
