"I know a fast way to reach that place."

As she said that, she looked around and then quickly showed the Jormungandr coiled around her arm.

"What is that? A snake?"

"No. This is the World Serpent Jormungandr, son of Loki and a giant trapped in the body of a snake."

"What?" Caelus’s expression turned incredulous as he stared at the thing.

He could not believe it.

This thing was Jormungandr? He naturally knew Jormungandr. He was aware of most of Norse mythology.

"This is the key to reaching the God Domain," Faust explained. "The Jormungandr has not awakened its full consciousness yet, but once we reach the levels of Emperor Rank and above, it should awaken its consciousness and tell us the path to the God Domain."

"Hm." Caelus fell into thought. "How do I know if I can trust you or not?"

The presence from the Jormungandr was undeniable. But Faust was still a variable here.

"I will earn your trust," Faust said. "I can tell that you hate me for what I did in the Abyss, but I do not consider that world real and arrived in this world with Jormungandr’s help. Hence, I believe I deserve another chance to mend things."

"You don’t consider them real?" Caelus’s eyes turned cold at her words. "They are very real. Once I go back there and bring them back, they will be more real than the world we live in."

Faust’s lips twitched when she heard this. Had this offended Caelus in some way? It seemed like he still had some attachments to that world.

"But." Caelus’s expression returned to normal just as quickly. "You mentioned Jormungandr’s help. Does that mean the beast was with you during that time?"

"Of course." Faust nodded. "The Jormungandr was sealed in the moon of our world, and I unsealed it and left the Abyss through the portal. The Jormungandr acted as the springboard for me to cross into the real world."

Caelus was naturally surprised to hear this.

He never would have expected it to be like this.

It seemed like there was more to the Abyss than met the eye.

"For now, I just want to form an alliance with you. We can set up a rule saying alliance members cannot fight each other, and I believe that should lower your guard around me a little more."

"The way you are proposing it, I do not feel like accepting." Caelus clicked his tongue. "But I am fine with forming an alliance with you."

"But before that, aside from helping me reach the God Domain, what else will you help me with?"

"You got one thing wrong, Caelus. I am not helping you reach the God Domain. We are helping each other reach the God Domain. There is a difference," Faust said with a charming smile.

"Yeah, whatever you say. Now answer my question."

"We can share resources and all the other basic things that normal kingdoms within an alliance do."

"Our current priority is to evolve our Kingdoms and reach Tier 6 Regional Lord Territory. But for that, we will have to conquer a lot of places."

"Alright, fine. I will also be calling you for friendly spars. That is fine, right?" Caelus asked.

Faust tilted her head and nodded. "Sure, I am fine with that."

"Good." Caelus nodded.

Soon, the alliance was formed, and they set up the rules before parting ways.

Caelus went back to his Kingdom and headed to the marketplace to buy Spatial Rings to store the ores.

After returning to the Kingdom, he delivered them to Mason and left for the Origin Expanse.

He was in the Tier 5 Regional Lord Territory despite not meeting the requirements to be there, and he wanted to make full use of this opportunity to hunt Ace-Rank beasts.

The first area could be skipped. It was called Fierce Jungle 1-10, which meant it was for levels 1 to 10, and after that was Fairyland 10-30.

It was a sprawling land. After flying for several minutes, he saw a piece of land that looked like paradise.

Tiny fairy-like monsters floated around him.

Their wings shimmered with soft pink and gold light, and their round eyes sparkled like gemstones.

One of them, a Pixie Wisp, drifted closer to him with a curious tilt of its head.

"Oh, they’re actually kind of cute," Caelus muttered as he watched them gather.

More of them appeared from the glowing flowers below, their delicate forms rising into the air like petals caught in the wind.

A Bloom Sprite hovered near his shoulder, its body made entirely of condensed flower essence.

For a moment, everything seemed peaceful.

Then the Pixie Wisp’s eyes turned blood red.

[Skill Activated: Pixie Barrage]

Dozens of glowing needles shot toward Caelus from every direction, each one crackling with volatile energy.

They might seem small but the power behind them was of the Ace-Rank. This small barrage could easily level mountains.

Caelus then immediately reacted.

[Skill Activated: Chaos Ring]

Thousands of swords materialized behind him in an instant, forming a defensive wall that intercepted the needles mid-flight.

The collision created a shower of sparks that lit up the sky.

"Oh, so that’s how it is," Caelus said with a sad smile. "You guys are scammers! Damn You!"

The Bloom Sprite opened its mouth and released a high-pitched screech.

[Skill Activated: Pollen Storm]

A cloud of toxic golden dust exploded outward, engulfing the area around him completely.

Caelus held his breath and activated his Chaos Perception Eyes, tracking every fairy through the haze.

There were at least thirty of them now, all circling him like predators closing in on prey.

A Dewdrop Fae dove toward his back with claws extended.

[Skill Activated: Morning Dew Slash]

Caelus spun around and caught it with Telekinesis, holding it in place mid-air.

"Nice try."

He flicked his wrist, and the Chaos Ring responded instantly.

Three swords shot forward and pierced the Dewdrop Fae before it could escape, shattering its form into particles of light.

The remaining fairies screeched in unison and attacked all at once.

[Skill Activated: Chaos Bolt]

A terrifying beam of blue and grey flame erupted from his fingertip, tearing through the air like a laser.

The Chaos Bolt carved a path through ten fairies in a single shot, their bodies disintegrating on contact.

The survivors scattered in panic, but Caelus gave them no chance to regroup.

He pointed at the remaining cluster and commanded the Chaos Ring.

Hundreds of swords rained down like a meteor shower, each one finding its mark with precision.

Within seconds, the sky was empty.

Caelus looked at the floating particles of light that remained, his expression flat.

"Nope! They are not so kind after all!"

He checked his status and nodded with satisfaction at the accumulated experience.

It was naturally high since he was the only one in the party right now.

[Level: 16 (830/3,200)]

Just then, he noticed something strange below him.

A crowd of players had gathered near the edge of a massive crater that scarred the landscape.

The hole was enormous, easily spanning several hundred meters across.

It led deep into the earth, cutting through the colorful terrain of the Fairyland like a wound.

Caelus descended slowly, his curiosity piqued by the unusual sight.
