Lucien asked Axel after a moment of hesitation, "Do you have bows and arrows?"

Axel’s eyes shone, and he remembered that Lucien was also an expert in archery; in fact, the only forms of Dragon magic the Golden Prince could use properly even in his human form were related to archery.

The Runecaster did not hesitate to give one of his strongest rune bows and arrows to Lucien.

The instant the prince received the white bow with shimmering golden runes etched on it and a barrel of 50 bows, each with a silvery shine, he sent a mental command to prime.

Lucien’s presence immediately changed; the golden attribute of his Aurauser aspect was merely due to the excess power of the Dragon Bloodline overflowing from his Draconic aspect’s energy reserve. It was not the original and pure golden attribute.

If Lucien’s previous aura density was like that of flowing water, then the Golden Energy from his Draconic aspect was as dense as liquid mercury. The purest of the Gold attribute belonging to the Golden Dragon, but only overlapped with his human form.

An indistinct pattern appeared in the prince’s light golden eyes, almost unnoticeable. It was not a drastic change in appearance, but its effects were indeed drastic, compounded by his Energy Sense.

The Golden Prince’s eyes peered through it all, locating condensed nodes of energy within this territorial spell.

He put the barrel on his back, standing in the right posture, picking up a single arrow from the barrel.

He put the arrow on the bowstring and pulled with all of his Draconic might. The arrow lit up in a conflugarence of golden flames.

He let go of the shaft with precise aim.

BANG!!!!

The arrow tore through the air like a missile, breaking the sound barrier with ease.

A flickering trail of Golden Flames was left in the path of the destructive golden arrow.

Axel did not remain idle as he whispered, "Change Runes of the Variable artifacts..."

"Umbra (Shadow)"

"Ignis (Fire)"

"Ferro (Metal)"

"Mens (Mind)"

Axel gave up on using the Lightning since the High-Lich had already invalidated this elemental counter to the Death Energy.

All five of his variable artifacts shimmered, as the runes changed, and the Absolute Runecaster grinned. Under the manipulation of his masterful understanding, he infused the element of fire with the property of shadow and designated that shadowy flame to only burn on Bones as a fuel.

Especially on the undead hands, it would burn in the darkest hue.

While the Metal and Mind rune both remained, their positions changed to both of the earrings on his two ears.

Axel’s sword lit up with the shadow flames; he dashed forward right behind the Golden Arrow, cleaving through the air.

At the same time, Sophia also sent a mental command to Prime,

She shot forward right behind Axel.

The moment Lucien’s arrow hit the exact center of the territorial magic imposed by the High-Lich. His Golden flames exploded like a torrential storm. The Dark hands raised from the blackened sky seemed to screech. At the mere contact of the Golden Flames, the hands withered and decayed.

Right then, Axel slashed his sword, and a massive arc of shadowy flames shot out; new hands emerged from the point where the Golden flames had destroyed everything moments ago.

And when the Shadowy flames hit, at first nothing happened.

But the next instant, the decaying bone hands struggled madly, but no matter how hard they struggled, the shadow flames did not go out.

If Lucien’s golden flames caused instant destruction to the Death Hands, then Axel’s shadow flames were like slow and painful poison that would continue to burn nonstop, as long as the bone hands existed.

And the need behind Axel’s shadow flames was because when Lucien’s flames destroyed the Death Hands, they would grow from the blackened sky again.

But at the same time, the Golden flames were also needed for the destruction, as it drained a greater amount of energy from the High-Lich to maintain it.

Axel’s Runic eyes shimmered in a golden hue, as his eyes scanned through the momentary opening that had been generated due to both his and Lucien’s continuous flaming strikes.

The Absolute Runecaster sent a mana transmission to the Valkyrie, [Miss Sophia, shoot where most of the Shadow flames are gathered; that is the weak point.]

Sophia did not hesitate and chanted the attack, which manifested from her Radiation Magic, "Radiant Missiles..."

Glittering white balls of projectiles shot from all around Sophia numbered in the hundreds, and they all crashed onto the area where Axel had marked.

Zabiur naturally would not let them have their way, so the Lich from time to time attacked with a long Death Ray or a gigantic scythe made of Death Energy.

But the trio continued to target one main node of the territorial spell after another.

They were indeed depleting the energy reserves of the High-Lich with each attack to a great degree.

In addition, Axel’s shadowy flames were transmitting an incredible amount of pain back to the High-Lich’s soul due to the nonstop burning of the death hands.

Meanwhile, Zabiur did not sense any permanent damage being done to the nodes of the spell because he could not detect Sophia’s radiation, as she had not used that magic of hers against Zabiur till now.

But just out of caution, the High-Lich was still trying his best to eliminate the three troublesome adversaries to his best abilities. The problem Zabiur had was that most of his attacks were long-range; as a Lich, he could not use his body.

So, in most of his fights, if the opponents were strong, he would drag out the battle and win in that manner.

But his current world energy reserves were quite low.

However, the moment when almost all five of the 10 main nodes were attacked at least once. The Deathly Hollow suddenly experienced a change throughout the battlefield.

Sophia turned to both Axel and Lucien and said with a dark smile, "Now...."

The rune arrows which Axel had given to the prince had a recall function embedded in them. So, all of his fired arrows could be used again.

But he had not used that function till now; he had fired about 43 arrows till now, and with a swift mental command, the Golden Prince recalled all the arrows in an instant. They all appeared in the barrel on his back.

Taking a deep breath, Lucien made all the arrows in his barrel come out and hover right beside him at his arm’s reach.

Then, with inconceivable speed, he shot one arrow after another in a continuous stream at such speed that it looked like a machine gun firing bullets, not an archer firing arrows.

As the rain of arrows fell, Lucien whispered, "Dragon Rain...."

All 50 arrows exploded into 10 smaller fragments. An arc of golden visceral flames rained from the heavens.

At the same time, Sophia chanted with a dark grin, "Half Life Shift...."
