Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence

Episode 199: Who Dalta is

"That's it."

In a properly quiet room, Sarin's voice echoes. That room was likely to fit about twenty people, but there are only four of them now. Besides, it sits on the edge and edge of the room, so much so that it makes me suspicious if there are any pacifiers.

Written exams had been given to become adventurers in that.

"Then give me an answer. We're going to take the practice exam next, so we'll move again."

Sarin tells me that Seiya and Dalta submit their respective answer forms to Sarin in front of the classroom. But his face was not good enough to say, and he told the story of his poor work.

"Yes, I did receive it. I'll get this paper out for a minute, so wait."

"Oh, I'll hold it."

"Really? Then please"

Sarin leaves the room with her when she gives the answer form to a single examiner who stays in the classroom. Seeing Sarin's exit, D'Arta approached Seyya.

"Hey......"

"What's up?

"Did you do that earlier?

Dalta asks Seiya with an anxious look. If you look at that look, you can see that the written exam was worn out. But it was the same with Seyya, so I cannot make fun of Dalta.

"Clearly, that's not good. I managed to fill the symbol, but it's devastating when it comes to writing."

"I knew it? Or you don't know the name of the Warcraft..."

"Oh. But I guess it's Dacrya's strength, including these places"

You're both right, the written exam question I just solved was about the Warcraft. It will also be silhouetted out, and what will be the name of that warcraft? And so on. And in writing.

For the two of us who live in Leiria, there was no way we could solve such a problem, even though we didn't even know that the Warcraft had a name in the first place.

Not to mention the Warcraft's name is Dacrya. Even if you were looking at the name of the Warcraft in Episcopal Church material, it's a Leirian name, not a Dacrya name. I mean, it's decided I can't solve it either way.

When that happens, the two hopes are symbolic questions of three points at a time. This is a form in which the name of the Warcraft is presented and the correct choice with its properties is chosen among the four.

But from the two of us who don't know the name of the Warcraft, the problem is right luck. Fifteen points if you have all five questions, three points if you have even one question. If you score here, you can be the bottom rank but an adventurer.

When you two think about that, Sarin and the woman come back. In that hand was held the answer for the two I had just deposited.

"Yeah, I'm going to move on to the practice exam. Before we do that, let's announce the results of the written exam because we have finished grading."

Sarin smiles niggly and takes one hand at a time.

"First of all, Seiya."

"Oh."

"Symbol problem is one question correct, three points"

Saiya was told her score and just nodded. I didn't feel any slight dust there, such as shock at my low score, but rather the thought was strong that you scored three good points.

"Next, Dalta"

"Yes."

"Dalta did well. Eleven."

"Yay!

D'Arta delighted that his score has ridden two quetas. And such a dalta, Seiya stares with amazement.

That would have been somewhat of a shock that my score lost to Dalta's score, but more than that, I'm shocked by the score Dalta took.

Dalta scores eleven points. Normally, it's a bad score. But the problem is not there, but that I took the prime number of eleven points in the symbolic question of three points per question.

This exam has five written questions per question about silhouette, but seven questions. And the symbolic question about the properties of the Warcraft is three points per question, but a total of fifty points out of five.

In other words, Dalta's score is a score that you have to ask two symbolic questions and one written question. If the symbol hits, it's still impossible to write a word you don't know at all and hit it first.

That means D'Arta will have heard the name of the Warcraft somewhere, which is also the name of Dacrea.

In Seyya, a fierce rush arose. Maybe the Ponkotsu Maid in front of you is a magician who goes to Dacrya, or if it is, all the D'Arta has ever acted, which is also of such a quality that it completely deceives Seiya.

Seiya feels a sweat on her forehead. And no heart or breathing is rough. Since when have I learned so much rush, Sarin smiled again after seeing how Saiya was doing like that. And take D'Arta's answer and say it deliberately.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I was miscalculating. Dalta's not eleven, she's twelve."

"Oh, is that true?

"Yeah, it's true. Because the symbol question is correct."

"Yay!

D'Arta shakes with joy that his score has risen. At the same time, I felt something settle down inside Seyya.

Breathing calms down at some point, and the sweat on his forehead disappears. The usual calm came back to that look as well.

"That, Seiya, was it possible you were shocked, too?

"What?

"I lost to Dalta."

"Oh, oh."

Seiya manages to return the answer to Sarin, who listens somewhere deliberately. To be honest, I'm also shocked and regrettable that I lost to Dalta, but that doesn't mess up Seiya.

Seiya disturbed herself because of the hypothesis that D'Arta was connected to Dacrya's person and her fear of acting skills that were completely deceiving her about herself. But the hypothesis was wrong.

Seiya is the usual Seiya already. So I answered not to be uncomfortable.

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. But, well, I still have a practical exam, so let's roll it back there."

"Let me do that"

As soon as Seyya answers, Dalta says.

"You can't beat Saiya."

"Hmm, just what I want"

"Then let's go to the practice exam place."

Sarin leaves that behind and leaves the room. With that, the Seyyas also leave the room after Sarin. And the place they brought me to is a room upstairs as well.

But this time the room is bigger than the earlier room, and there are no obstacles. The gray inorganic walls are a great place to fight.

"I'm going to do a practical exam here."

Sarin says so, heading towards the back of the room.

Saiya asked Serrin like that.

"So what do you do with practice exams?

"Oh, you haven't said that yet."

That's how Sarin instantly changes the surrounding atmosphere. The change is as big as trying to squash about the Sayers.

"Practical exam, it's a one-on-one fight with me."

"" Become!?

Two people surprised by Sarin's words. It was also the test contents, but there were no more example boundaries in this room.

"Isn't that dangerous? If you do that here, just in case..."

"Right, I could die. But what you guys are trying to be are adventurers. Always risking your life."

Hearing Sarin's words, Seyya loses her words. And at the same time, I found out that this is Dacrea again. Leirian common sense doesn't work here. If you step outside, it is a battlefield.

"I see, okay. Then let's start with me..."

"No, it's Dalta at first."

"Why?

"It's a rule from the top of the written exam."

If they say the rules, there's no choice, so Seiya honestly pulls back. Then he goes to Dalta and whispers in his ear.

"Surrender as soon as you feel your life is in danger."

"Ugh, yeah."

D'Arta also realizes a different aura emanating from Sarin, so he honestly nods. And I stood in front of Sarin.

Seyya, with the other woman, moves to the corner of the room.

"Um, is Sarin strong?

"That's a stupid question. She's the best in this guild."

"Really..."

When Seyya answers, the woman signals the start of the match.

"Now, let the game begin!

"Me..."

D'Arta started chanting with the start of the match. But before finishing the first passage, D'Arta suddenly fell.
