Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence
Lesson 244: Blue Dragon
There was a giant dragon with a clear blue torso. Each one of the scales was shining as if it were a sapphire, staring at the Seyyas as they twisted their huge bodies.
"Maybe this is the Lord of the Killer Mountains?
"Oh, yeah. Are you freaking out?
"That freaks me out. With spirits who use such monsters."
Saiya slammed a light mouth against Arthur, but half the words were true. The intimidation of the Blue Dragon that appeared in front of him was not the same as the struggle used by Arthurs, but just a feeling of disorder scattered around him. If you say it's uncontrolled intimidation but it makes your skin so tingly, if you were controlled by this intimidation and directed at everything, would your legs become dull?
Such a sentiment arises in Saiya.
"Ugh, uhh, uhh, no... I didn't hear this..."
D'Arta starts to rattle and tremble when she sees Aoyagi staring at this one. But it was impossible for her to react that way.
Anyway, the blue dragon that appeared in front of me is the most vicious of the warcraft, because it is the kind of warcraft that you wouldn't encounter first for what you normally live in. Although Dalta has had numerous unusual experiences so far, the encounter with Aolong has been a difference in digits compared to previous experiences.
A little ahead of its existence, but Gilanelle also seems to have a strong expression. Only Arthur stood as usual. Even so, I have been opening up my fighting spirit for Aolong since earlier.
"Now the emperor. You know what I mean?
"You mean I'll fight from here, too, right?
Seiya convinces herself that her addition is imperative in front of Aolong. Seyya has so far kept her powers warm for a showdown with the Spirit, but she can't just hang her hands on the boulder this time.
It's what I know because it's Seiya now. Perhaps if it had been the old Seiya, we would not have been able to measure the true strength of Aoyagi, and we would not have feared so much. That's because you don't even know how powerful an enemy is in front of an overwhelming difference in strength. But not now. The true strength of the person you know because you have gained considerable strength after previous experience.
And that was with Dalta. D'Arta trembles because he understands his opponent's strength. Seyya was convinced that this place, in addition to Arthur and Gillanell, had no choice but to respond as well, than D'Arta was being drunk by fear.
But Arthur's answer was different.
"No. Even here you don't have to fight."
"What do you mean?
"It means the way it is. All you have to do is prepare to fight him."
"What are you saying? Can you keep your eyes shut in front of such a monster?"
"What are you talking about? It's even more monstrous what you're about to deal with."
Seiya, who will be unable to return words to Arthur's point. Indeed, Arthur is right, Seiya is going to be dealing with a presence with more strength than Blue Dragon. It was not a good idea to wear it out here.
"Besides, I don't want any miscellaneous fish who don't realize they've already been attacked."
"What do you mean...... this!?
So I finally realized, Seiya. The magic is so pale that it can be seen when you stare at it, but it did emit a frightening amount of blue magic from the blue dragon toward the Sayers. And the yellow magic envelops the Seyyas to protect them from that storm of magic.
Had it not been for Arthur's magic, the Seyyas would have been unable to move by now, sedated by the blue magic emitted by Aolong.
But Seyya wonders why she didn't notice the attack. Why I didn't notice, even though I maxed my vigilance before entering this space. I knew the answer right away.
"Intimidation."
"Yes."
Arthur affirms Seyya's answer. My consciousness focused on that overwhelming sense of intimidation emitted by Aoyagi. I didn't realize much of the pale magic.
"So you stay back. Atashi will do it here."
When Arthur sets up the Holy Sword Excalibur, he stares at the Blue Dragon.
"This Fallen Dragon is apparently fortified."
"Sounds like it. He's in trouble."
Arthur agrees with Gillanell's words in a grumpy way. Those eyes are so cold, they look to prey.
(This is the magician with Leiria's strongest name)
Seiya is overwhelmed by Arthur's expressions in her heart. And at the next moment, the curtain of battle is cut and unloaded.
Arthur approaches Blue Dragon at once accelerating at the same time as stepping out of his feet. Blue Dragon, by contrast, rises above and dodges the attack. Arthur, who had been dodged before swinging through the Holy Sword, stopped abruptly on the spot and was slaughtered toward Blue Dragon, who was as kicked as he wanted on the ground.
Blue Dragon roars against Arthur approaching from below. Of course it's not just a growl, it's a sedative growl containing the blue magic of water attributes.
"That doesn't work. Yikes!"
In the momentary time before the roar reaches Arthur, Arthur swings his sword out at a speed above the speed of sound, and with that sword pressure he blows out the roar of the Blue Dragon. But that's not all Arthur's attack ends, and at some point he scaffolds and re-accelerates the little 'light wall (shining wall)' exercised in the air.
And he tries to slash it straight towards Aolong, but Aolong also quickly enters the defensive posture. I tried to strike down about Arthur with that tail wrapped in the magic of the water attribute.
"Shit."
With his eyes on the tail to be swung down, Arthur once again exercises the 'Light Wall (Shining Wall)' in the air, this time bouncing sideways to avoid it. But that's not all that ends up being Leiria's most powerful magician.
At that moment when the tail of the shaken down Blue Dragon tried to reach where Arthur was until earlier, the 'Light Wall (Shining Wall)' left on the spot suddenly turns into a chain made of yellow magic, so that it is entangled in the tail of the Blue Dragon and restrained.
"Proclaiming with the protection of the Princess of Light." Light Spear (Lightning Spear) ""
Arthur then exercised further magic toward the face of the Blue Dragon, who was drawn to the chains of light on his tail. A storm of spears of light trying to wear blue dragons from the unfolded yellow demon squares. Blue Dragon shoots down the storm with a brace of water.
"One end. That's it."
Arthur, who was prevented from attacking, leaves himself free to fall, saying so. But naturally, Blue Dragon couldn't have missed the big gap that was born in front of him, and Blue Dragon chases after Arthur.
A brace of water is shot out toward Arthur just as he shot off a spear of light. But the brace was fogged before it reached Arthur, who fell.
"'Dark Extinction'"
The killer who instantly fogged the Blue Dragon attack was Gillanell, who stood looking up at the Blue Dragon drifting over it. says Arthur, who stood down next to such a gilanel.
"Sorry, thanks"
"Bullshit. You let me cover for you on purpose."
"Hmm."
Arthur smiles slightly at Gillanell's words.
"So, you think you can go?
"That's no problem. Now I know how enhanced that was."
"Then, as you should, we move on."
"I don't mind. Oh, leave Dalta alone for once."
"You got Dalta?
"We should let them go through the dead here once."
In Arthur's eyes is Dalta, who sees the blue dragon and shivers with rattles.
"You could die, huh?
"If you're going to die here, you're going to die soon."
"You're tough. But I get it."
Gillanell, who accepted Arthur's request, says to Seyya.
"Dear Saiya, I'll leave this to Arthur and me and Saiya to move on."
"Are you serious?
I said I couldn't believe what Gilanel said. Seiya with a look on her face. That goes for breaking up here, too, but it was more surprising that Gilanelle's words did not have a D'Arta name.
"Dear Saiya, I'm fine. She will be protected by Arthur. So let's move on."
Seiya is still worried about Dalta even in the words of Gilanelle. But I can't help but worry if I see the state of Dalta right now. I've been terrified since earlier, and now I'm staring at Seyya with an uneasy look on my face. The figure is like a kitten about to be abandoned by its mother, even though she was just born.
But Arthur screams as if to put an end to Seyya's strays.
"Emperor, you do your part! D'Arta's not that soft!
Saiya haunts Arthur's words. Sure, Dalta is one girl frightened by monsters now, but Seiya knew how strong she was. How much anxiety was there between leaving the Kingdom of Leiria and coming this far? But Dalta came this far through that anxiety. And it was also Dalta who protected Seyya after he reached the Kirel Mountains.
What if I don't believe her like that?
Seyya is determined. Put down Dalta and move on.
"Seiya......"
"You'll be fine, D'Arta!
Saiya leaves that out and moves on. Never look back on Dalta. Never turn around even in cold acts like abandonment. That's because I believe Dalta is a child who can do it.
"Let's go!
"Yes, Master Seiya"
So Seyya and Gilanel left the two of them to move on. And Dalta stares at Saiya's back like that.
"Seiya... don't go..."
D'Arta calls Seyya's name just to say hi. But the voice never reached Seyya.
