Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence

Episode 261: The Beginning of the Unrest

"Dear Saiya, are you ready?

"Oh."

Having safely acquired the night attributes, the figure of the Seyyas was within the made world of the Spirit Luna, with its entrance deep into the Kirel Mountains. But there's no sign of Arthur and Dalta there.

"Shall we go with the concubines?"

When Rona waves her fingers down vertically, a door appears in one of those spaces where there was nothing. That door is the door to Rona's return to the real world, and the destination is a substitute for Rona's freedom to decide. Even so, only places she has visited and marked can be designated as destinations for that door.

Still, theoretically, that door that can travel long distances in an instant would be groundbreaking.

Arthur and D'Arta used this door to head one foot to Leiria. Dulta, who had his pride as a servant of the premier magician Christina-Saya, had stubbornly refused to leave Sayya, but the rounding had subsided so that Sayya would follow Arthur as an order.

The two plan to return to the Episcopal Church from this and tell them of the failure of the crusade of Seyya. I plan to tell him exactly that Seiya fled leaving Arthur in front of him and his servant, Dalta, but the problem is that he couldn't finish Seiya off if he took it to the Seven Wise Men, and he wouldn't mind the process.

Well, Arthur, who boasted a hundred percent mission fulfillment rate, could make a fuss about his failure.

And the three remaining Saiya, Rona and Gilanel are due back to the Dacrea Empire from now on. Having acquired the Night Attribute allowed Seyya to acquire the seat of the Great Demon King Lucifer, so the rest is to approve Seyya's inauguration of the Great Demon King at the coming Demon King Conference.

Look, we're here.

When Rona opens the door, it's a room in the Great Demon King's Hall that spreads beyond. That is where Seyya was for the first time in Gilanel, in a room where the Great Demon King, originally named Lucifer, sits.

"Dear Saiya, from today on this will be Saiya's room"

That's what they say. Seiya overlooking the room. The walls are decorated with portraits of my father, Keith-Lucifer, the previous Great Demon King.

"What am I supposed to do here?

"Right. I was wondering if there was anything in particular."

"Really?

"Yep. The role of Lucifer, the Great Demon King, is to govern all of Dacrya, and if there is no problem, there is no job"

Seiya finds herself distracted by unexpected words. I couldn't have expected to do anything for Seyya, who was given a hell of a lot of paperwork by Dawn, who became the Great Demon King, and wondered if she was going to do things like read and sign them all.

"Because I will mainly do the paperwork. I think you'll find out more by asking Luna."

"Really, Rona?

Ask Rona, whose turn Saiya was behind herself.

"Right. Keith didn't have a particularly work-like job either. Strongly, don't let them mow your sleeping neck."

"Sleeping neck?

"It was. Dear Saiya, be careful from now on."

Gilanel advises Seiya with a look that looks serious.

"Master Seyya, who became the Great Demon King, is a symbol of Dacrya, to say the least. Those who thought that if you took the neck of that symbol, you could raise your name in Dacrya might attack Master Seiya. Well, with Master Seiya's help, it won't be enough, but I don't think he's ever been there to be vigilant."

"I see."

Hearing Gilanel's explanation, Dacrya understood whether it was a meritocratic country like the Frestan region of the Kingdom of Leiria. But I'm glad Seiya is a little further away from getting her attention.

"Even so, no one seems to have a problem knowing Saiya's existence unless he officially assumes the post of Great Demon King at the Demon King's Conference. Until then, feel free to use this room. Besides, this castle belongs to Saiya-sama, so I was wondering if it would be inconvenient if you could let me through if anything happened."

Apparently, the other servants will not be actively releasing Seyya's presence until Seyya is officially approved by the Demon King's Council. But if I tried Saiya, I'd have preferred you. For Seiya, who has had little experience standing on people, rather a life scorned by people, ordering people to use it is not right for her skin.

In that sense, it was easier to go through Gilanel.

"And Saiya asked me to study."

"Study?"

"Yes. Even so, it's not magic or medicine. It's about Dacrea."

"Does that mean institution?

Seyya's knowledge of Dakulia is about the average person. Besides, that ordinary person is to the extent that those who do not profess magic know it, and as you can tell from the adventurer exams taken in the Fourth District of Dacrea, I don't know anything about Warcraft's individual name or anything like that.

"There's also that, but it's also about the force diagrams of recent years"

"A force diagram?

"Yes, there are so-called moderates and radicals in this Dacrya"

"Is that what you're talking about?"

"That's the story."

What Gillanell wanted to teach. So was Dacrea's knowledge of the system and the Warcraft, but it was more than that factional relations and their map of power. As someone who stood up, he was trying to teach Saiya the least he could possibly know.

"We will prepare teachers for that here, so rest today"

"Oh. Sorry."

"No, Master Seiya is after the battle."

It was Gillanell, who explained a lot, but Seiya hasn't had time yet to finish the fight with Rona. There was no physical fatigue because it was a battle in my dreams, but there was considerable mental fatigue. I'm not going to ask Saiya to do anything right away for that. It is Gillanell's idea to rest his body first and then have him come to the Demon King's Council in full swing.

"Then I'll be excused for this"

"Oh."

When Gillannel, who finished greeting him, left the room, there was a figure of an old man in front of the door. Seiya and the others have not noticed because it is after the door has already been closed. When Gilanelle finds that figure, she talks just a little happily.

"Long time no see, Sir Daldar"

It was Daldar-Belzebub who was there. He is one of the demon kings who governs the Sixth District of Dacrea.

"Welcome, Great Demon King"

"No, I'm not Lucifer anymore"

"Does that mean that Master Seiya is safe and powerful?

"Yes."

Daldar spills a little grin, thinking about Seyya, who would be at the end of the door. When he was first in Seyya, Seyya questioned him about his own existence. And Daldar gave Seyya a few tips. At that point I was suspicious if Seiya could get the night attribute, but given the current situation, I'm pretty sure Seiya got the night attribute.

That was a pleasure for him. But the look instantly becomes more rugged. Seeing that change makes me wonder if something happened to Gilanel as well.

"What's wrong?

"Asmodeus killed"

"Is it true!?

"It's solid information. It's already circulating in the country."

The death of Asmodeus, king of dreams, was in the news and was running all over Dacrea.

"Who took Asmodeus?

"It was a man named Mikokabrera who put his hands directly down. But behind it is Belzebub."

"The Rapids did it? I see, the Rapids aren't a single rock."

"Sounds like it. Perhaps Belzebub is trying to keep the Rapids in his hands."

"Is that what you mean"

Gillanell was surprised by the news, but will not be disturbed. That's because they had powerful trump cards.

"And Mammon's seat seems to be on the lookout."

"Is Mamon too? This is finally happening."

"It would be. All you have to do is leave it to Master Seiya."

"Right. Let's do what we can."

"Yes."

I don't even know the fine dust was having that conversation outside the door, Seiya. But there was a woman who was eavesdropping on the story. She snaps in her heart.

(Well, this stinks...)
