Falling Mage and the Power of Divergence

Episode 306: Association Moves (Bottom)

Seven thirteen apostles representing the Kingdom of Leiria, including the Holy Knight Arthur-One, and four special magicians of equal power to them. The fact that so many forces turned to other forces at once was too much to take away the words of the remaining superior magicians.

All the extraordinary magicians on the spot are silenced by the possibility that Cleonola has told them.

"Things are pretty serious"

Premium magicians who can only put a harsh look on Onylus' words. It seems that even the most experienced of them, Morska, can hardly decide what to do about an unprecedented situation.

The Association of Extraordinary Mages, independent of the Episcopal Church, including the Thirteenth Apostle, was nominally established to deal with matters like this one. But if those extraordinary magicians had turned back, then the extraordinary magicians' association would have no independent meaning.

At the earliest, everyone understood that it would be better to deal with this in a structure such as the Kingdom of Leiria and the Third Force, rather than in the framework of the Episcopal Church and the Association of Extraordinary Mages.

But no one proposes to cooperate with the Episcopal Church. That is because they, and the Seven Wise Men, did not want a system of cooperation.

From the side, what's there would be pride not worth taking. But even with such tiny pride, it was more important than anything to the magicians who represented the country.

I don't know what to do with it.

"Well, if you think about it normally, you should let the public know about it."

It was the oldest Morska who answered Lafotia's words. Her opinion, which has the longest experience in the Association of Extraordinary Mages, can be relied upon in such situations.

But Onylus disputes Morska's idea.

"No, it's only about the Thirteen Apostles that we publish"

"What do you mean?

"Yes, Lord Onylus. You don't think I'll let you know about Lord Rieger and the others?

"We'll find out someday."

One criticism after another flies to Onylus' opinion, but even Onylus is heavily aware of that. But if you keep the facts straight, you can easily imagine this country.

That is something that must also be avoided as the Association of Extraordinary Mages.

"Assuming we publish everything, it only makes us not only believe in the Episcopal Church, but also in the Association"

"You mean make it look like the association is functioning to ease public anxiety?

"That's right. If the Episcopal Church doesn't work, the people will feel safe."

"But what about the troops? It's unnatural to try to conscript even though there are super magicians."

Yotes' opinion is good. Even if half of the thirteen apostles commit a conspiracy, there is no need to replenish the thirteen apostles with new troops without their vacancies. Even in view of the low sequence of the remaining thirteen apostles, it should be advantageous on the number if the thirteen extraordinary magicians are combined with the remaining thirteen apostles.

That being said, it is unnatural to attempt to replenish troops, let alone conscript students through the School of Magic.

Rather, the public's distrust of the matter may solicit it. That would also result in a loss of trust in the association.

"I won't make it public when it comes to conscription. Inform the school director of each school for a good reason"

"You think that's gonna get you through this?

"It's an emergency now. I don't have time to worry about that."

"But how do you explain it to the magicians in general? They won't do it for a good reason."

"Then there's no problem."

Together we breathe into Onylus like we have some idea.

"I'm going to send a request for help to one of them."

"Is it one of them?

"That's right. The Thirteen Apostles, and the Extraordinary Mages, who were responsible for this rebellion."

"What do you mean?

"Keep it up. Consider the names of the thirteen apostles who committed this conspiracy."

A premium magician who is not here. I mean Seyya, Riger, Ifriel, Krazas. Of those four, the three had something in common.

"You don't have a pin."

"Then change your mind. It's a younger generation related to those people. Specifically student magicians."

"No way."

That's where Morska realizes. After a beat, the other special magicians noticed what they had in common.

"Yes. Real-Five, Christina Seiya, Your-Aruña, Zil-Nefra. All of them were magicians who featured in the Leirian Magic Games earlier. And who would have a grudge against such magicians"

Onylus' measures were too insane an idea. It is a kind of contraindication and a measure that may invite this country to further chaos. Impossible if you think about it normally, a choice you shouldn't choose.

But in this emergency, it was worth choosing.

"Demon King Detodelion-Berzebub......"

"Exactly. They are enemies to the association, but they should also be enemies to the Emris faction. Enemy enemies have no obstacle in cooperating. Besides, the demons must be looking for a chance to get revenge."

"But cooperation is working with Dacrea, etc."

"That was a bad way to put it. Use it, not cooperate."

That measure, which used the vengeance of the Detodelions, was an attractive one to break the status quo. But my conscience as a special magician refuses to do so.

"Besides, if we can get the proper soldiers out of them and create a Leirian crisis, the general magicians should also rise up with their weapons in their hands."

The patriotism of the magicians within Leiria is even stronger in the previous case. If the mastermind of the Railia Magic Games invasion shows up at that time, it will be easy for the average magician to create a weapon in his hand.

This was the measure that could break the contemplated status quo of Onylus and, at the same time, the instrument for the association to take control of this country. However, there was still a problem.

"But who comes into contact with the demon kings?

Eldrio's question was the most. There is no way that the leading premium magicians of Leiria have the means to communicate with the Demon Kings. It's impossible to build a cooperative relationship or something without getting in touch with each other.

"That's the problem. But it's also true that someone in here has to do it."

Onylus saw Chirali and the Lafotias. Perhaps as far as he is concerned, he wants to entrust Lafotia with the role of its messenger.

Toyogi Lafotia is one of the top magicians who has a wide face and is good at negotiating. Definitely more successful than sending someone with a problematic personality like "Witch" Cleonola.

"I see, you told me to go"

"If you can ask, I'd love to."

"It works the way you want, but in this situation, I'm going to have to go."

"Then I'll go too."

It was "The Champion" Sikilfas who raised his voice to the trend of Lafotia. In a cooperative relationship with Lafotia, it is within Onylus' assumptions that he will raise his hand.

Thus was the messenger to Dacrea about to decide, when one man raised his hand.

I'll do the part.

"What, you? What the hell kind of blow, Michaela?

It was surprisingly Michaela the Angel who raised her voice. Together, we get a surprising look at aggressive behavior that we don't normally think of in him.

But Michaela didn't mind moving on.

"I personally have a pipe in Dacrya."

"That's your first ear."

"I'm not going to talk about it. But you know which one is more successful."

Onylus gives a grumpy look to Michaela's high-pressure attitude. But you can't move with personal emotions just because things are going on.

"Shit, I get it. I'll leave you to it."

"Hmm."

Thus Michaela the Angel was sent to Dacrya.
