Chapter 906 - 440: Newborn Water World (Part 3)
To construct the Monster Breeding Ground, the required "Water of Life," "Stone of Stability," and "Fire of the Cycle" seem to not just demand their inherent powers but a certain concept altogether.
Inanna very much favored the environment of the breeding ground, even projecting her form there to build a nest.
"Hey, what are you doing?!"
A young boy’s voice suddenly came through.
A mass of blazing fire dropped from a high place, with a fireball rolling into the trees atop the mountain, igniting some plants. In the midst of it, a golden-red Little Dragon rolled on the ground and took flight again.
Although its horns were short and its wings not strong enough, Li Ang had seen the Pure Demon Dragon God Statue summoned by Farina, and this was clearly Agni.
"Who are you?"
Gorasis, Akuya, and Leviathan, in a state of resonance, shifted their attention due to the arrival of the Fire Dragon and looked at it.
"Let me introduce." Akuya stepped forward, introducing the Fire Dragon to her other side and to their living companions.
"You wield fire, right?" Leviathan asked the golden-red Dragon.
The Fire Dragon had no interest in speaking pleasantly with them, angrily roaring: "You’ve created too much water! Look at what you’ve done?!"
The three Water Goddesses came to the edge of the mountaintop and looked down, only to see the world that was just being nurtured now overwhelmed by the disaster brought by the excess water.
Torrential rains, floods, and rampaging water Demons were damaging the original Nature, even volcanoes were being surrounded and engulfed by the flow of water. The world cooled dramatically, with heavy snow covering many places.
"Isn’t this good?" Leviathan was pleased, for she favored such a world.
This is the sinister nature of the Dragon Ancestor. Li Ang thought.
"It seems we overdid it." Akuya showed a worried expression.
"Hmm."
Gorasis responded softly, but with an indifferent attitude.
The Great Spirit, closer to the Concept of Nature? Not concerned with balance or life and death. Li Ang pondered, looking at this Goddess.
The chest and abdomen of the Fire Dragon surged with Power, glowing with a radiant ball of light like the sun, then it spewed the light out, exploding into a fireball beyond the mountain top.
The fireball split, transforming into countless fire rains dropping to the world, creating warm areas amidst the endless torrential rains where life could dwell, thus becoming lush jungles.
"Agni, you ran too fast."
A young boy’s voice, much calmer than Agni’s rugged one, came from behind the Fire Dragon.
A handsome young boy with black hair, black eyes, and a black robe emerged from a shadow, possessing a calm and elegant demeanor, though the bruises on his face slightly marred the impression.
This must be Thanatos.
Li Ang had never seen the real Thanatos, and this humanoid form in front of him appeared much younger. Due to these bruises, he noticed some scales on Agni were also injured and fallen off, regrowing, and the wing membranes were damaged, currently covered by a layer of newly formed soft flesh.
"Thanatos!" Inanna called out.
Thanatos looked at the Earth Dragon, furrowed his brow, exchanged glances with the Fire Dragon, Agni’s Dragon Pupils contracted, and it hissed at Inanna.
"Wha-what’s wrong?" Inanna shrunk back behind Li Ang, feeling aggrieved.
"Did you two fight again?" Akuya looked at the injured Fire Dark Dragon.
"Hmph, today is not a day to quarrel with him," Agni said.
So, Fire Dark Dragon was like this from the start; I thought they got along well. Li Ang thought to himself.
"We were only gone for a short while, and you’ve caused so many problems."
Agni flapped its wings and pointed a Sharp Claw at Li Ang and Inanna.
"Akuya, you’re too kind-hearted, letting enemies infiltrate without realizing."
