Chapter 907 - 441: Earth Dragon
"Enemies?"
The Three Water Gods, each aware of the others’ thoughts, exchanged glances and finally fixed their gaze on Li Ang.
"Do you mean Li Ang? He did find Inanna, after all," Akuya said.
"Coincidentally, it’s precisely because of her that we can’t trust!"
Agni’s words stunned the Water Gods, and Inanna froze as well.
"Ssss." Seeing Inanna accused, Leviathan, never missing a chance for chaos, was delighted and excited.
"Wh-why?"
The Little Earth Dragon asked plaintively.
The Fire Dragon was filled with rage, flames fiercely blazing around him, making him shine as brilliantly as the sun’s golden rays.
And as a Divine Spirit, his will was the embodiment of power. As his anger reached its peak, his power surged, and amidst the flames, the Golden Red Little Dragon visibly grew larger by a notch.
"And this guy, the Primordial Being has long coveted the power of our Dragon Race; isn’t this the perfect outcome for him? Don’t let yourselves be seduced by him."
Akuya blushed slightly: "Who is seduced?"
She pinched the hem of her skirt and took half a step back, then suddenly came to her senses: "Are your wounds caused by the Eldest Son?"
"Yes!" The Fire Dragon roared, pointing to Inanna, "Not just the Eldest Son, but also—"
"Agni, wait," said the calm Thanatos.
"What?!"
The black-haired, stern youth had been silently observing Li Ang and Inanna from the start and pondered, "Perhaps things aren’t as dire as we think; the Inanna before us is the real one."
"You mean..."
"Stop, stop, I said stop."
Akuya raised her hand: "What kind of riddles are you two spinning, explain clearly."
"Ah! I can’t figure it out!" The Golden Red Little Dragon scratched its head messily with its claws, sparks flaring as its sharp claw collided with its dragon horn.
"Idiot," Li Ang heard Leviathan mutter softly.
"Even if the Inanna before us is real, there’s still a chance she’s part of the Primordial Being; they might be acting on both ends."
Thanatos stared intently at Li Ang.
"So explain things clearly."
Akuya sighed, glancing at Gorasis who was already seated at the edge of the cliff gazing at the torrential floods below, lost in thought, and Leviathan who was quietly chanting "fight, fight," feeling a headache, she rubbed her temples helplessly.
Clearly a dragon, yet transformed into human form, their physiology and senses became similar to humans too, which was the wondrous nature of transformation.
Li Ang thought, this pink-haired Dragon Maiden’s primal state seemed to be reversed with the later generations. Was it because she was cornered too much initially, which led her to effortlessly retaliate and mess around afterwards?
"There’s definitely some misunderstanding."
Li Ang took a half step forward and earnestly said, "It’s hard for me to clearly define my own state too, but I’m definitely not on the Primordial Being’s side. As for Inanna, she’s definitely the real deal."
In the words of the Fire Dark Dragon, there seemed to be another Inanna; Li Ang was still unclear whether that was the true Inanna of the Illusion Realm or that this Illusion Realm was showcasing some strange plot. In any case, he needed to first gain their trust.
Li Ang looked past the mountain peak at the Water World and said to Inanna, "You are the Earth Dragon, and controlling the Earth Element is your innate power. If there’s too much water, you can add soil and earth to the world."
"Me?"
"Of course, you also possess no less power than they do," Li Ang looked at Akuya’s Three Gods.
"Seems like it."
The Little Earth Dragon seemed to feel some inspiration from Li Ang’s words, and the gold in her pupils became even richer.
Inanna climbed to the edge of the peak, glanced down at the raging waters, thought for a moment, then stood up and thrust her strong claws into the ground.
Her spirituality shook, and the sound of Magic Power rang sharply around her. A large amount of soil was created, pebbles rolled and fell, growing against the wind, turning into boulders mid-air, and as they reached the earth with a rumble, transformed into a Rock Mountain penetrating the surface.
Rich soil scattered in the sky, first forming mounds and hills, then, with Inanna’s excavation, turned into mountains and sprawling ranges.
In no time, the water flow was scattered and blocked; some converged into lakes, others flowed between mountains, becoming great rivers.
Mountains and water balanced each other, and life began to revive and grow again.
"At the beginning of creation, everything truly felt mythical, like a dream or an illusion," Diao quietly remarked beside Li Ang.
"The reality might not be like this," Li Ang said to the brown-skinned young girl. From the moment Akuya appeared, he couldn’t sense that these events were following Nebis’s Laws; it was more like a play woven from someone’s memory, with the focus on symbolism rather than genuine experience.
Of course, these scenes were real enough; it’s just that the charm of the Illusion Realm wasn’t on a faithful recreation of the initial world but rather in presenting the relationship among the dragons.
"A play?" Diao was a bit unfamiliar with the term.
"Somewhat like the Nuo dance of the Witch Priests, where they enact during ceremonies to showcase a great journey. In terms of a play, it’s a bit less solemn," Li Ang explained to her.
"Is this something common in the outside world?"
"Yes."
Diao gently nodded, seemingly deep in thought.
Li Ang turned to look at Nebis who was staring blankly at the mountains where the Fire Dragon stood: "How about it, does this prove that Inanna is genuine now?"
"This is indeed her power, but she has never shown it like this."
Agni’s dragon face couldn’t show expressions, yet Li Ang could still sense his surprise.
"You know her well, and you know dragons well too. You have a lot of dragon power on you, but I still can’t believe you... Ouch!"
The head of the Fire Dragon was knocked by the pink-haired Dragon Maiden, and Akuya huffed angrily: "Explain it clearly to me!"
Agni let out a few howls, clearly better at fighting than talking, unsure of how to articulate.
"Follow us and you’ll know. We originally came back to get reinforcements, the place is not far." Thanatos said.
The Dark Dragon revealed its original form in a burst of black mist; resembling a centaur, its four-legged lower body and the elevated upper torso, with a total of six limbs, countless bone spurs grew from its back, sweeping away the residue of everything’s annihilation, forming anti-gravity wings.
Li Ang recalled seeing the posture of the Dark Dragon among the six dragon forms sculpted by Farina’s magic power, which was quite different from now.
The future Dark Dragon’s body had completely become skeletal, with many strangely twisted dragon wings, seemingly pieced together from the bones of countless deceased.
But now, it still had flesh and scales.
Seeing Thanatos transform into its original form, Akuya also revealed her true form in the water flow, showing much greater transformation compared to future Nebis, making Li Ang exclaim "Huh".
Akuya was a slender, three-headed blue dragon, with nearly no flying wings, but on her shoulders and spine grew many back sails resembling pink ribbons, enhancing the sapphire-like scales to shimmer radiantly, clearly a dragon but resembling a beautiful Water Spirit.
For the Dragon Race, transforming into the original form is a sign of seriousness.
Akuya sensed the seriousness of Thanatos.
The golden-red Agni flapped its wings, flying out of the mountain peak first, with Thanatos and Akuya following in the lifts of black mist and water streams; before taking off, the Water Dragon even called for the Sea Serpent Ancestor.
However, Gorasis appeared indifferent, not wishing to be involved in the dragon matters.
Diao transformed into a giant eagle, while Li Ang, in the Dragon Transformation Promotion state, had many techniques for hovering, simply using the Armor of Wind to unfold the Wind Wings to follow behind.
"Wait for me!"
Inanna ran to the edge of the cliff, nearly tumbling off, unable to fly, anxious and howling, the sound sharp and even slightly tearful.
How could I forget this? Li Ang patted his head, turned back to bring her along.
Earlier, when Inanna charged onto the Eternal Summer, she showed absolutely no sign of being unable to fly. He also wondered back then how the six dragons controlling the Earth Element flew; later, after getting her mark, this matter naturally resolved itself.
Looking at those floating Sky Islands, they hover precisely because of the repulsion between their minerals and the Bloody Red Land, replicating such effects on the Earth Pillar supporting the world should be straightforward.
However, Inanna in her little dragon state might not necessarily understand.
Li Ang held her limbs, holding her like a big dog while flying. The Earth Dragon nudged his head, obediently staying in his arms.
Fireballs, black clouds, blue waves, and the golden-tinged wind drew a long arc across the primordial world’s sky, soon reaching the Fire Dark Dragon’s destination.
The dragons landed in a mountain hollow, and as soon as they arrived, Li Ang sensed the difference.
There’s Divine Crimson Gold everywhere here!
Exactly, such extreme material scattered around as if free of charge, not even forming bricks, mostly scattered like gravel, paving a golden road full of divinity.
This road extended forward, reaching an arch indescribable by all the pompousness.
Li Ang’s pupils contracted slightly; once adjusted to the arch’s brilliance, he realized its construction was rather simple, only its fusion of unmatched spirit, matter, and magic power produced such an intense feeling in sensory and visual observation.
"Ahead is the Garden of Creation."
Akuya explained beside Li Ang, seemingly seeing it’s his first time here.
Li Ang nodded, elevating his seriousness.
This place bears the prefix "Creation".
Creation Furnace, Creation Library, Creation Wedge... these places, all bury Nebis’s secrets and true divine authority.
"This is the domain of the eldest sons." Inanna in his arms said.
The Garden of Creation is supposedly the dwelling of divine spirits, which isn’t surprising.
Upon reaching the arch, the dragons all became cautious, even the previously arrogant Agni had calmed down considerably.
"Let’s go."
Still, it was Akuya who calmed her mind first, leading in front, letting the Fire Dark Dragon follow behind.
Li Ang put Inanna down; the little dragon felt a bit reluctant but still used her claws to scrape the ground, crawling towards the brothers and sisters ahead.
Passing through the arch, the front remained as dazzling as gold and jade, and one must mention the marvel of Divine Crimson Gold; its texture and color far exceeded gold, bringing endless glorious light without feeling dazzling, instead conveying high distance and aspiration.
Agni took a deep breath, then unleashed a dragon roar and erupting flames.
"Zosia! Get out here!"
The situation at hand appears to be the Dragon God confronting the Eldest Son of God to hold him accountable.
