Chapter 294: Was This Yvonne His Yvonne?
Yvonne said, "No, Stanley, you didn’t say anything last night." "Really?" Stanley was relieved.
After breakfast, Yvonne left with Stanley. Soon after the two left, James arrived. He had specifically called the club and learned that Daniel was on a business trip, so he gave Sam a vacation these two days.
He took the elevator directly to the 17th floor, and when he got out of the elevator, he glanced at Yvonne’s door. He came on the clock. She should have gone to work this time. Therefore, he didn’t need to worry about running into her at all. So he got out of the elevator, stood at the door of Sam’s house, and rang the doorbell. In the bedroom, Sam slept soundly. Hearing the doorbell, she got up to open the door with a bit of complaint. When she saw James standing outside, she was completely awake, "Mr. Taylor, why are you here? "
James looked calm, "I’m here because of the house." Hearing him say that, Sam said directly, "Mr. Taylor, I’m afraid it’s not negotiable." She was very determined. James ignored her but walked in directly around her. Sam tried to stop him but failed. She frowned and followed him, "Mr. Taylor, is it too rude for you to forcibly break into someone else’s house like this?"
Hearing this, James looked over and said, "If I’ve offended you, I apologize." He looked humble and polite. Sam didn’t know what to say, so she could only let him. She glanced at the pajamas she was wearing and felt weird, so she walked straight to the bedroom. James looked around the house. It was worse than he had imagined. Not only was the room small, but the decoration also was not good, and the kitchen was so small that one could only stand there. He didn’t understand why she didn’t want to leave such a place.
He stopped at the dinner table and secretly complained about the small place. He accidentally caught a glimpse of a note on the dining table beside him. He frowned and picked it up. "Sam, thank you for taking me in last night. Remember to eat breakfast."
The writing was very elegant and nice, but the signature below was Yvonne’s name.
James stared at her name and thought he had read it wrong. So was this Yvonne his
Yvonne? He was puzzled.
Besides, why did she stay at Sam’s house last night? Was there something wrong with the power in her house again? Thinking about this, his eyes fell subconsciously on the paper bag aside. Was it the breakfast she had left? He subconsciously opened the paper bag, which contained a cup of freshly ground coffee, a sandwich, and several cupcakes. It looked quite hearty. He picked up a cupcake and put it in his mouth.
Unexpectedly, it was delicious, so he sat down in the chair, and began to eat. When Sam got dressed and walked out of the room, she saw him sitting at the table and eating with relish. She was surprised, "Mr. Taylor, how can you eat my breakfast?"
James ignored it and continued to eat the cupcake. After eating it, he said, "Why did she live with you last night?" Sam felt confused. James had to show her the note left by Yvonne on the table.
Sam realized what was going on after reading it, but she was still a little confused, "Mr. Taylor, I have no obligation to tell you this." James took a sip of coffee and said, "If you tell me, I can satisfy your request."
...
Sam thought it was funny, "I do have a request."
"What is it?" James asked as he ate.
Sam snorted, "I’d like to ask you to leave, Mr. Taylor."
James raised his eyebrows, "Well, I will give you three days to think about it. Apart from providing accommodation, you can ask for whatever you want."
Sam wasn’t tempted, "Mr. Taylor, I won’t change my mind. I wouldn’t agree unless you can give me a reason to move." James sneered and said, "You think about it. Don’t rush to give me an answer."
With that, he turned and walked towards the door, but after thinking of something, he went back and took the unfinished breakfast on the table with him. Sam gritted her teeth. After James went to the company, he immediately called his assistant into the office, "Go and watch the monitoring of Riverside Apartment to see what happened to her last night."
His assistant was surprised, only to realize that it was about Yvonne. "Yes."
After his assistant left, James narrowed his eyes. He wanted to see what had happened to her last night. Before long, his assistant sent the surveillance video to his mobile phone. James was eating the breakfast he hadn’t finished before while watching the surveillance video. When he saw that Yvonne had taken a man back home at ten o’clock last night, he got nervous, and quickly paused the video to zoom in, only to realize that it was Stanley. James exploded on the spot. She had taken him home? It was outrageous!
However, he was relieved when he remembered that she was staying at Sam’s house last night. It seemed that she was sensible enough to stay at Sam’s house for the night. But he still felt upset. No, he had to move there as soon as possible or she’d become someone else’s girlfriend.
Thinking of this, he went to Sam’s house again. When Sam opened the door and saw him standing outside again, she was startled, "Mr. Taylor, why are you here again?"
James ignored it and walked directly in and asked, "Have you made your decision?" Sam froze and then followed him, "Mr. Taylor, didn’t you give me three days? Why did you come back so quickly?"
James said, "I can’t wait. You must give me an answer now." Sam was speechless, "Then I’ll give you my answer. I’m sorry, but no. Please give me a reason why you need this house."
James said to himself why couldn’t she just move? If she weren’t Rob’s sister, he wouldn’t have wasted so much time negotiating with her. James turned around angrily, but when he thought of Yvonne taking Stanley home last night, he turned back. "If I tell you why I need this house, will you agree to move?"
Sam said, "Then it depends on your reason."
James gritted his teeth. He decided to give her a proper reason. So he nodded, "Okay, I’ll tell you."
Sam looked at him expectantly. James hesitated for a while and said, "Well, I’m trying to get my girlfriend back." "Girlfriend?" Sam was puzzled. James was a little embarrassed, "To be honest, my girlfriend lives across the hall. We fought and broke up some time ago, so she moved here."
